Grab lunch at this coastal gem, which offers a killer sushi menu for $35 during Dine Out Lauderdale weekdays between 11:30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Amid your options, the Angry Hamachi roll is a favorite loaded with furikake, spicy mayo, and jalapeños. The 10 Best Restaurants in Fort Lauderdale Beach in Broward County | Eater Miami

"It stands for Sun, Surf, Sand... But we need to reserve an “S” for Scrumptious. It’s an upscale vibe with a killer daily happy hour that you can enjoy from its fire pit area. S3’s weekend brunch is a winner, too, with a bottomless champagne bar with Moet."

The Best Sushi Restaurants in Broward County and Fort Lauderdale | Eater Miami

"The ocean views are as tough to beat as the sushi-centric menu that’s been a hit since 2013. Standing for Sun, Surf, Sand, S3’s sushi offerings include barbecue eel, Hamachi sashimi bites, and the Arrowhead Roll, loaded with tuna, yellowtail, crab, and salmon with a spicy mayo drizzle. S3 has lunch, dinner, and brunch menus, all with different selections."

Excellent place along the Fort Lauderdale Beach strip. Valet parking only $10, (Very difficult to find meter parking) Huge, open restaurant with a very relaxed but sophisticated vibe. We went there for a birthday celebration. The menu is Pan-Asian but there are plenty of other dishes on the menu to satisfy guests that are not necessarily like Asian food. Our waiter, Trevor, was incredible and as close to a professional waiter as you can get; Knowledge of all dishes and specials by heart,no cheat sheet! One of the best waiters I have ever had the pleasure to meet! We brought our own cake and Trevor cut it for us! The service is really this restaurant's string point! The appetizers are plentiful and large, and so are the main dishes. Plenty to share if you so desire. I had the slow cooked beef ribs which were rich and soft. A bit too many sauces/purees for taste. The beef ribs were succulent enough and didn't really need anything else. The sushi was fresh and original. Tasty onion rings! Good drinks at a reasonable price. Overall a good experience, outdoor seating available with fire pits(Gas) and comfortable sofas.

I had such a lovely dinner with my friend. The food was amazing, and the service was excellent. I had the Honeymoon cocktail, which was really good. For food, I ordered edamame and the Salmon Bowl. There was so much food that I couldn’t finish it, so I had to pack the rest. I’d like to thank Devin, our server—he was amazing and took great care of us.

Google
How wonderful experience with incredible sushi, sophisticated flavors but simple approach. This is high-end meets the beach, you couldn't ask for more! The execution is absolutely perfect both in flavor and temperature meaning that your sushi is ideal, the rest of the food is also wonderful. Try the octopus appetizer, It is splendid. The corporate sushi chef has really done a wonderful job transforming the menu and elevating S3 to one of the best spots to enjoy fresh fish on the beach or off. You can't beat the wonderful friendly service and the location is ideal, how often do you get to enjoy delicious fish while looking at the ocean? Don't miss this one!

We had our 20th anniversary lunch here today and it was such an amazing experience. We recently travelled to Japan and the sushi here took us back to Tokyo. Highly recommend! Our server Cameron had great recommendations and was very knowledgeable. Thanks man!

Google
Love the view and menu items! The music is a bit loud so it makes it hard to hear sometimes but overall, great experience! We got the arrow roll, Manhattan roll, salmon bowl, and bass with potatoes, veggies, etc.

Google
What a lovely place! It is somehow hard to find parking, though. Service is amazing! We were served at the bar, and the bartender was very friendly & knowledgeable about the menu. The food was good. Can't say it was something extraordinary, but it did its job wasn't hungry after it. Most likely, if I am in the area , I'll be back.

Google
I will be back the sushi was amazing! I highly recommend trying the Neo-Tokyo roll…. It is simply *chefs kiss*. The ambiance at this location is great, right on the beach and you get the beachside breeze both indoors & out. The menu is designed to be shared family style. 2 sushi rolls along with the bang-bang shrimp appetizer was enough to leave my date and I more than satisfied. Also, Ella our server was extremely attentive, knowledgeable and kind. (:

We attended this restaurant on Saturday March 15 2025 for date night while on vacation in Fort Lauderdale. We didn’t have reservations and the restaurant was full, so we sat at the back bar. The bartender at the back bar name was Cindy. She was very good attentive and the drinks were fire. The food was very great !! And the atmosphere was great. So We went back for my fiancé‘s 60th birthday with family on March 18 and we had reservations. Our experience this time was not good. . Our waitress was not attentive. The drinks were horrible. The food was cold and the restaurant was not that crowded. Our hotel that we stayed at had given us complementary drinks coupons for the restaurant that we gave to the waitress to take off our bill. That I realized on our way back to Illinois the next day was not applied to our bill. So I would give Saturday night of five star and Wednesday a 2 star. These photo are from Saturday night

Yelp
S3 is our daughter' favorite restaurant so we took her there after she got home from college. The edamame, bang-bang shrimp, lo-mein, and Dynamite Roll are the absolute best; all with a spectacular view of the ocean. And our waitress Adriana (sp?) was awesome! She brought us dessert to celebrate our daughter's return from studying abroad in London!!! The General Manager (Indie?) took the time to stop by to say "Hi", which was very nice. Bottom line: you can't go wrong at S3.

Yelp
Phenomenal!! We hosted my graduation dinner here at S3, for a party of 20, and everyone had a fantastic time! Let's talk about the atmosphere first. Ambiance was fantastic, we were seated at a large combined table with ample space. Lighting was great and we loved the excellent service by our wait staff team. The menu was pre-selected and the wait staff did a phenomenal job timing the arrival of food such that we had ample time to enjoy our drinks and chat prior to digging in. We first had the edamame and korean fried chicken, followed by some salmon, grilled octopus, one of the best churascco steak I've ever had, shrimp noodles, and to close it out, a delicious, velvety soft double chocolate cake. I would highly recommend S3 to my family and friends without any hesitation. They are a great place to host celebratory dinners!!

Yelp
I would show my drink, but I drink it. So I can't. I disnt have food but the menu looks cool, and Armerelo Sours I had were Fire. Get here before I get back

Yelp
Great location across from the beach. Very nice outdoor area to relax or sit properly at a table. Service was good and fast. The food is good as well, about middle ground. The cocktails use a mix of fresh juices such as passion fruit or mango.

Yelp
I was at this restaurant for lunch about 6 years ago. I wanted to surprise Max for our 31st anniversary. We booked an awesome room at the hotel and "swam" over to this restaurant for brunch. The view of the ocean is spectacular, but what is more spectacular is the service and food. Max loved the sushi. I told our waiter that only one restaurant made Eggs Benedict for me that was my top pick for 31 years. No one could top the restaurant in the French Quarter in New Orleans. The restaurant closed many years ago and I was heartbroken. The Eggs Benedict at S3 jump started my heart and this dish now takes the place of Petunias. Rest in peace Petunias, your life lives on at S3.

Yelp
This was my second time eating here, and excited to go back because I really enjoyed my first time here. However, I was kind of let down by the food this time. I ordered the cheeseburger, and it came out overcooked and with cold fries. Hopefully, it was just one-off bad experience.

Yelp
We had a great meal at S3. I pulled into the valet parking area and I asked about getting a charge while I dining. They gladly took care of getting my car charged while dining. We got a nice table by the window overlooking A1A and the beach. We started with an Omakase box (supreme) and every one of the sushi pieces was like butter....nice, full of flavor and delicious. We got a Korean Fried Chicken and each piece of the boneless chicken bites was excellent...we asked for sauce on the side. My grilled octopus was very tender and served with some large beans in a bowl. My husband's eggs benedict were delicious. My niece got the A5 Surf and Turf and she loved the blend of flavors. Overall a great experience. I just wished our server had a bit of a more friendly and smiley customer service attitude...it was fine, but not great.... Valet parking with the S3 validation was $9.

Yelp
My fiance and I are in town from NY to scuba dive. We had dinner here. Spicy tuna roll, surf and turf, and Thai tuna roll, octopus, and goat cheese balls (forgot the name of them). The octopus was fantastic. And the sushi was good. The outdoor seating was nice and they had light house music playing. Overall it was a great experience. My only negative remark was that service was very slow. We were there for a long time. That's the only reason I'm giving 4 starts instead of 5.

Yelp
Visited this restaurant couple days ago on a weekday afternoon and enjoyed my experience. The menu was extensive, didn't really know what to order so I decided that we should just get some appetizers and just had a nice fried rice and steak bowl and chatted over drinks.

Yelp
Food: 5/5 I visited S3 with a few of my coworkers. We tried the sushi, duck, rice, noodles, and desserts. Everything with fresh, flavorful, and presented nicely. Portions were modest but ok for sharing tapas style. The coconut cake was a large portion and very good. Service: 5/5 Our waitress was attentive, even on a busy night. Some of the dishes came served on large platters that took up a lot of table space, but our waitress did a good job keeping the table tidy. Cleanliness: 4/5 It seemed fairly clean although I will note that our table was noticeably sticky. This is likely partially due to humidity but also due to the varnish breaking down because of improper cleaning chemicals that are too harsh. Not a big deal at most restaurants, but for the price point, I would expect some of these details to be a little tighter. Atmosphere: 5/5 The resturant had a nice vibe and decor. It was super busy, even on a weekday. The patio was full with a large group. Value: 3/5 We racked up a large tab but I think most people would find the menu in line with Fort Lauderdale full service restaurants, which is higher than most other areas in the US. Overall, I had a positive experience.

Yelp
We were staying at the Hilton Beach Resort and our flight got in late. We didn't get to check in until 8:45, so we thought why not give the hotel restaurant a try. I am so glad we did! We loved our food. We sat at the outside bar and it was such a lovely night and so much fun seeing the atmosphere of Ft Lauderdale at night. We ordered the chicken appetizer, side order of onion rings and the side order of the lo mien. The chicken was amazing and I would order it every single time. We also got the doughnut dessert...most adorably and delicious way to end the night!
google avatar

Mary W.

Yelp
S3 is just a few steps from the hotel we're staying at... The inside is nice, but we opted for sitting outside as it was a lovely day. After being seated, we were told that the waitress would be right over... a good twenty five minutes went by and no one came to our table, so we flagged down a worker to get service. A waitress stops by and takes our order... more waiting... First the edamame, which was very tasty! I'd definitely order this again. The charred flavor and the seasoning is perfection. Next out was the spicy tuna roll, which was also very tasty and elevated to the next level with the sauce from the edamame-- absolutely delicious! If not for the excessive waiting with zero acknowledgement, this would be 5 stars easy!
google avatar

Yelp
Probably best brunch I've had in a long time, the food and service was to die for. Also recommend the rooftop Nube upstairs, both restaurants absolutely fantastic
google avatar

Lindsay M.

Yelp
This place is top notch right near the beach. perfect sitting area inside and out amazing food and sushi. The portion is s so good cooked to perfection nice staff. I got so much variety of sushi and shrimp they have a large menu of food and drinks. Denis is the best bartender. When you go sit at the bar. I let him pick my drink options with the variety. Of flavors I like. And I was amazed at how good they were they were perfectly made with flavor and never water down. It's a must go. Place for date nights. And the manger checked on us as well
google avatar

Yelp
Summary: Good but not great sushi, very good service, pleasant patio environment Details: Hamachi tiradito: fresh flavorful hamachi but the best of the ingredients didn't quite work. Not enough truffle ponzu. Suggest leaving the Jalapeño in place for longer so flavors mix. Bluefin toro sashimi: two excellent pieces. Fatty (as it should be) and melts in your mouth. Unagi (BBQ eel): good bordering on very good. Lucky roll: crab and snapper with some avocado. Light and summer but not much flavor. I didn't taste any of the garlic truffle. Dynamite roll: shrimp tempura with fake (?) crab. Spicy eel sauce and mayo amp up the dish. Eh. Lots of speciality cocktails. Not many choices of wine by the glass. All of the waitstaff were very pleasant and helpful. Good choice if you can get a seat with a view. Otherwise better choices nearby

Yelp
This use to be my favorite spot due to the weekend bottomless bubble bad, which unfortunately they do not do anymore. The food is still good and ambiance is great, but the bubble bar where you got any kind of topping or have the bar tender make you a special champagne drink is gone. That is why I knock it down a star
google avatar

Lucy A.

Yelp
I loved this restaurant. We went here to celebrate our niece's birthday and had such a great time and brunch. We ordered the bottomless mimosas and loved the fresh orange juice and strawberry juice and fruit. We also ordered the roasted peppers andburrata cheese, which I think was my favorite thing. I ordered the shrimp &grits , which was fantastic. My husband ordered the huevos rancheros and he loved them. We also ordered a sushi appetizer. Everything was delicious. The service was fantastic and the ambience cannot be beat. Definitely will go back to this great place!
google avatar

Alyssa C.

Yelp
We decided to order a bunch of random stuff and share it. Everything came out quickly and was delicious. The menu has a great variety of options and a good mix of seafood and non seafood options. Their specials all sounded delicious but the appetizer special sold out so we weren't able to try it but we did like the entree special which was the salmon. Our server was amazing and attentive. She checked on us throughout the night and was quick to bring out our drinks from the bar. We sat on the patio which was perfect for a summer evening. The team does move fast when the evening showers come in.
google avatar

Jess H.

Yelp
Wow, I'm blown away by this place. The atmosphere is top notch. We sat inside but you can sit outside and have the cool ocean breeze. The service was phenomenal and our server was so attentive. Not only is the atmosphere amazing, the food was top quality. We had a sushi roll, octopus and pork ribs. Wow wow and wow! This will not be the last time we go! Go check this place out. It's definitely worth it.

Yelp
Went here on a whim when visiting from out of town Loved the food and vibe here!! Highlights- Bang bang shrimp- prob the best I've ever tasted Lucky roll sushi was so fresh and delicious The filet was just okay- didn't like the sauce it came with, the duck fat onion rings were delicious and plentiful Cocktails were great Service is good- we had a new server but he seems to know what he was doing
google avatar

Taylor A.

Yelp
Nice restaurant with chill vibes and a lot of sushi options on the menu. I highly recommend their drinks, especially the Berry Breeze! It was very refreshing and hit the spot. While the atmosphere and drinks are great, it is a little pricey for the food they serve. The sushi (and fried rice) were good, but I would expect more for how much they charge. I do recommend the Monkey Bread as the app--super soft bread and garlicy.

Bee D.

Yelp
Randomly stopped here for a drink while walking the beach. The vibe is chill and the drinks were good.
google avatar

Banu S.

Yelp
this place was wonderful. Went with some work friends. The food from start to finish was on par. I was having so much fun that I did not take any pictures or pay much attention. But I do wanna say I enjoyed the service and the ambience.
google avatar

Yvette M.

Yelp
In town for a day before heading on a cruise and staying at the hotel the restaurant is attached to . The food was excellent and recommended by the staff of the hotel . I was able to make a reservation for inside dining fairly quickly and no wait to be seated . It was loud , but a great atmosphere . The Bowls and excellent and the sushi was good . The staff were friendly and pleasant. I'd go back and recommend to others .
google avatar

Chelsea M.

Yelp
I went specifically for the burratta and was not disappointed! It was massive, fresh, and filled me up for a light lunch. Service was exceptional and just an all around pleasant experience
google avatar

Analisa K.

Yelp
I came early enough to find convenient parking which isn't always easy near the beach. I chose a table in their covered outside seating area which offered a beautiful beach view. See my pics for the delicious menu options I chose which I would again (goat cheese croquettes & dragon roll). Service was efficient and professional. Following my meal, I walked across the street for some beach therapy. I think I just might make this a monthly thing!
google avatar

Gabriela Z.

Yelp
AMAZING!! Everything was SO good! Arrowhead roll, dynamite, and dragon rolls were all so good. Edamame was delicious. Had a charred flavor with a soy sauce on top. I've had better crispy rice but it was still very good. Fried rice was delicious! Drinks were all delicious. We had the Sun, Hibiscus Kiss, and espresso martinis. All very good. Service was wonderful! Sever was so sweet and attentive. Ambiance was great. We sat outside by the heaters. Great intimate vibes. Food and drinks was also very affordable. It was tapas style I would say. We will definitely revisit this place next time we're in Fort Lauderdale.
google avatar

Tracy M.

Yelp
This was our first time here. It was busy and a little on the loud side. Service was friendly. There were a lot of options on the menu. We had the octopus as an appetizer which was pretty good, but we would've liked more octopus and less of the beans, tomatoes, etc that it came with. The duck was delicious and cooked perfectly. The presentation for the lobster was pretty fancy. The ribs were ok; not as good as I thought they'd be tho. The location with the view of the beach were nice.
google avatar

Katie K.

Yelp
Quite expensive. But verrrrryyy good. I went here for a bachelorette party and we ordered one of every sushi roll... what a fun time. Everyone had a different favorite roll but we agreed that they were all good! The appetizers were also sooo good. THE EDAMAME. I'm still thinking about it. The bang bang shrimp and the Korean fried chicken bites were also delicious. We also got fancy cocktails as one does while celebrating the bride to be and they were also good. We sat outside hoping for a nice view of the water but we were on the ground floor so it wasn't that spectacular... and it started down-pouring towards the end of the meal. But that doesn't go against the restaurant itself. If I find myself in the area again and have a few extra bucks to spend I'd definitely go back
google avatar

Rachel B.

Yelp
This is a restaurant you will want to try everything on the menu. In fact, this was so true for us that we returned the next evening with friends to experience items we were too full for the night before. The food is off the charts delicious, while the environment is a curated masterpiece. Stay cool inside with comfortable seating and flawless decor, or enjoy the ocean view on their large patio. The Caesar salad was absolutely the best take on a caesar salad I've ever had. No where near traditional, but boasted flavor, texture and presentation. We tried a few Izakaya dishes and sushi rolls, all were phenomenal. In our party of 5, there were no complaints, only ooh's and ahh's from the scrumptious main courses ordered. There is no doubt this restaurant serves high quality ingredients and focuses on the details. Whether it's the food, the service or the ambiance - S3 is an example of what every restaurant should strive to be.
google avatar

Catherine D.

Yelp
Rachel was so accommodating, knowledgeable, and really made our first trip here an amazing experience! Cannot say enough about how wonderful the food is! Gorgeous to behold, but even better to devour! Highly recommend visiting and enjoying the sushi and sake!
google avatar

Karen F.

Yelp
The food was out of this world. The service was even better. We are on vacation and planning to get back here before we leave.
google avatar

Natasha V.

Yelp
First and foremost I want to acknowledge the service here. From the two hostess, our waiter Josh and another server that I didn't catch his name they were on point, professional, welcoming and just truly a delight. Service here is 5 starts without a doubt. The restaurant was having issues with their a/c so we did have to be moved to a cooler spot of the restaurant but none of the staff gave us attitude about it which was a relief. Once we were moved we were able to enjoy the restaurants' decor and the mood it set. We decided on drinks and appetizers for the table. The taste was great, definitely on the pricier side since all we ordered were snacks and 4 drinks but now a days everything is just so pricey. We really enjoyed the volcano roll, crispy spicy tuna bites and edamame were our favorite. Although the edamame was fantastic the first round so we ordered a second round and it wasn't the same. The cocktails were a bit off. My fiancé had two cocktails and didn't get a buzz. My mom enjoyed her $21 glass of wine. I ordered a cocktail mocktail to start that was yummy. And then I moved on to a dirty martini that was made for me twice but it was off. I had to have everyone at the table taste it because I thought it was me. It wasn't me the drink just wasn't right so I opted for the smoked old fashioned and that was good. My finance had a drink that came in a pineapple glass that tasted delicious but seemed to lack alcohol and he also had the pear martini but didn't love it. I would have loved to give this place a better score just based on service but the food for the price of $150+ was a bit much.
google avatar

Meagan G.

Yelp
Came here for some late night bites after an event nearby. Food and drinks were great! Bartender was good and patient with us!
google avatar

Claire S.

Yelp
I enjoyed our Saturday brunch at S3. The food was pretty good, but the view is the reason to go. The majority of tables are shaded, and so you can have the view and breeze without direct sun. The Poke Plate was very good and creatively presented, and my husband loved the skirt steak. The service was pleasant but rather slow, especially with drinks. We probably would have stayed longer and had more drinks, but the slow service encouraged us to head out.
google avatar

Jennifer T.

Yelp
The sushi was AMAZING! Honestly some of the best sushi I have had in a while. We came in a weekend night without reservations (get reservations for sure, it was a terrible idea for us) AND we lucked out that there were seats at the sushi bar. All was great, definitely recommend the roll with wagyu- it's worth the money!
google avatar

Allison B.

Yelp
S3 provided such a wonderful dining experience for my party of 10 last night! We visited to celebrate a birthday, and S3 went above and beyond to make it special. The ambiance was warm and upscale, and the staff was so welcoming. I was immediately impressed by the chilled glasses provided for our water. We ordered the Korean Fried Chicken, Edamame, Milk Bread, and Bang Bang Shrimp appetizers. They were all phenomenal, from the seasonings, to the sauces, to the presentations. For entrees, I tried the Thai Tuna roll, Dynamite roll, and Spicy Tuna roll. I highly recommend the Thai Tuna, the macademia nuts add such a unique flavor and crunch! I also really enjoyed the lightness of the Dynamite and Spicy Tuna rolls. The restaurant brough out their signature blondie with a sparkler for the birthday girl, which was a thoughtful touch. My party also sampled each of the remaining desserts, which were so rich and flavorful. The coconut cake slice was too big for our group of 10 to finish! If you like passionfruit like I do, the Panna Cotta is something you can't skip. I'm truly looking forward to the next time I'll be in the area to come back!
google avatar

Harv P.

Yelp
Started off Sunday brunch here, we came in around 12. Even though they opened at 10 they were out of the breakfast burrito already...how?
google avatar

Bryn S.

Yelp
Great service. All food was AMAZING. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SUSHI ROLLS. I did not like the sushi at all. Great views. Great vibes. I really recommend the noodles. Best thing on the menu.
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
Super cute restaurant! The food was delicious, customer service was great. Deja took really good care of us! Thank you will definitely Come Back
google avatar

Alex M.

Yelp
Great happy hour (at bar and fire pit area only). Beautiful view of the ocean and sushi is always fresh and delicious. Spicy edamame is great.
google avatar

Morgan C.

Yelp
Perfect girl dinner right by the beach! Service was great. Food was delicious, sushi is a good option and it was fresh! Drinks were perfect and strong. Can't wait to go back!
google avatar

Jeff S.

Yelp
Recently returned after a few years and I am happy to say, it's still great. The vibe was nice; they were playing good music, it's beachfront, can't beat that. Service was excellent. Tim was our waiter, nice guy, very quick and helpful. We went with the salmon crudo, Korean chicken bites, wok charred edamame and the salmon kamikaze roll. I thought the food was really good. I especially enjoyed the chili/yuzu sauce the salmon was marinated in. Really nice. My only criticism is that the chicken bites weren't crispy. I wasn't sure if they were supposed to be soft or not, but they were. I was expecting crispy based on the description. Prices were a bit on the higher end as usual, the salmon app was $17 and my sushi roll was $20 for example. But the food is great. So I left feeling pretty good about the meal and experience overall. Going to stick with 4 stars. Great place. Will definitely come back again.
google avatar

Kristen S.

Yelp
Stopped by the S3 happy hour. Prices were reasonable with a good amount of selection of snacks and cocktails. I had the Korean chicken bites and goat cheese croquettes. The outside bar and lounge was great! You can enjoy the sound and sight of the beach, which is right across the street. Staff was friendly. Service was quick. My one warning is even though this restaurant is part of the Hilton, they do not take room charge. Had to run back up and grab a credit card ;)
google avatar

June J.

Yelp
I had the absolute pleasure of dining at S3 last week. It did not disappoint one bit! First, the staff were very accommodating as we called a few hours ahead requesting a large party reservation. We were very lucky they could seat us! The view was unbelievable. The restaurant vibe is gorgeous! There were 14 of us, and we had drinks, apps, entrees, and dessert. My faves were the scallops and pork shank. The flavor profile of these dishes were so great. They weren't spicy and the pork board is definitely a sharer! I loved my sushi, but it was just a tad spicy. My group did not let it go to waste. This was such a great choice to celebrate our family event! Lamia was an amazing server and we appreciate all she did to accommodate our party! 5 STARS!!!
google avatar

Falyn H.

Yelp
My husband setup a surprise girls night for me here. The drinks were terrific, service was 5 star, and the food was delicious! I can't wait to go back with my husband, I think he'd really enjoy the food and drinks as well. The ambiance is gorgeous! We ate a few different rolls and ordered a few different appetizers. The only thing I will say is that the roll with coconut and macadamia nuts was good, however you don't taste any coconut. After dinner we went upstairs to the Nubé rooftop bar to keep the party going.

Yelp
Such a nice vibe by the water! Immaculate views, delicious food, and great for groups. The food is good and portions are reasonable. I know my table enjoyed what we had, which included tacos, sushi, burger, fries and salad. Not the best portions for sharing, but possible. I must commend their desserts, especially, because those were my favorite part of the meal. The Carrot Cake and Panna Cotta were top top top notch. I'm sure all of their desserts will wow you. A bit pricey, overall, but that's to be expected in this gorgeous, relaxed part of town. Come ready to splurge! When they get busy, expect a bit of a wait in terms of table service. Everyone was quite nice and apologetic, though. Parking can be tricky... check the side streets for hidden gems, and don't forget to pay the meter!

Yelp
I ate here a few years ago and I really enjoyed the edamame and some of the sushi rolls. My wife wasn't able to come with me the first time I visited so when the opportunity came and we both were free we made reservations. Making reservations was easy, even if you don't make reservations if they have space they will let walk ins in. We were running a few minutes behind and they still took us in. It was a Saturday afternoon and the place wasn't too crowded, just the right amount of people to enjoy the restaurant. Our waitress Adriana read our minds when we explained what we liked. A great restaurant has the employees taste all the food so they can make great recommendations. We told Adriana we like surprises and the rest was history. I picked two appetizers, the Korean fried chicken and the Edamame and Adriana recommended the octopus. The octopus was fresh with fresh flavors and delicious. The edamame had so much flavor that I'm craving it now. It was grilled and had togarashi seasoning on it. The Korean fried chicken was crispy and had a delicious dipping sauce. Adriana spoke to the Michelin rated sushi chef named Ped who walked over to introduce himself and get a feel for what me and wife were expecting. We mentioned to Ped that we go to a place in chicago (Tanoshi/sushi Mikes) that creates incredible sushi for us that's not on the menu and that we were looking for a similar experience. This guy blew our mind. I have never tasted sashimi as fresh as what I tasted. First you should know the seafood is flown overnight daily from Tokyo to S3. I cannot tell you what each fish was or the flavors I experienced but all I can say is wow . The freshest fish from Hawaii, Tokyo and Peru and other places around the world. The fish melted in our mouths like it was butter. As you can see from my photos, the presentation was over the top. Presentation is everything!!!! I cannot explain the taste. Fresh, buttery fish that's so fresh it doesn't taste like fish. The fatty tuna is my favorite but the chef created a new favorite for me. He made a Nigiri with foie gras that might be the best thing I have ever eaten in my life. Everything we ate was incredible and it would be very difficult to rate the Nigiri and Sashimi because of how close they are in their own uniqueness. We had a few rolls to top it all off and the arrow head was my favorite. All the rolls were delicious but the arrow head one won overall best. This place rocks. Several things are taken into consideration when I write a review, first is location and how hard was it to get there. There was parking on the side streets and we didn't have a hard time looking for a spot. Restaurant is across the street from the ocean so you get that ocean breeze that was lovely. The restaurant was big with big open doors overlooking the sand that leads to the beach. Customer service was top tier from the minute we walked in until we left. Everyone was friendly, bathrooms were clean, waitress had drinks constantly coming in. I never needed anything the entire time, they even brought me a hot towel so I could wash my hands before I began my culinary experience. To end our incredible experience, we had the coconut cake for dessert. That bad boy was awesome. It was enough for 4 people. It had a scoop of ice cream on the side and together with the cake it tasted like a pina colada. We were so happy we insisted on speaking with the manager to relay our satisfaction. Indy, the general manager took the time out of her busy schedule to talk to us and it really shows how much care, effort and hard work she has put into the restaurant. Overall, if you want an incredible experience and love amazing food, you have to visit and make sure you request Adriana as your waitress and let Ped know you want a meal to remember.
