12 Best Kid-Friendly Restaurants in Philadelphia, According to Eater Editors | Eater Philly

"While adults enjoy stuffed French toast, fluffy omelets, and thick sandwiches at Sabrina’s Art Museum, Graduate Hospital, and University City locations, kiddos have their own menu to peruse with options like grilled chicken, buttermilk pancakes with chocolate chips or fruit, chicken fingers, and scrambled eggs with cheese. In the suburbs, find Sabrina’s in Wynnewood and over the bridge in Collingswood." - Ernest Owens

Sabrina's Cafe - Review - University City - Philadelphia - The Infatuation

"People in this city are used to waiting. We waited from 1960 to 2018 for the Eagles to win their next championship. And we constantly wait to get into University City's Sabrina’s Cafe for brunch. The lemon ricotta blueberry pancakes are a favorite of ours here and come with a mixed berry compote–if you want a switch up from drowning your pancakes in syrup. Make sure you plan your meetup for the weekend, outdoor seating in the front yard is only available on Saturdays and Sundays." - Candis R. McLean

Where to Eat Around Penn and Drexel

"Weekend waits are a given at this local mini-chain known for its brunch. The University City location is housed in a striking Victorian building where diners can look out onto the corner of 34th and Powelton while enjoying blueberry-topped challah french toast, tofu scrambles, and tater tots covered with sausage hash and over-easy eggs." - Caroline Coral, Ernest Owens

13 Best Brunch Places in Philadelphia | Condé Nast Traveler

"In the Philadelphia brunch scene, Sabrina’s is the longtime reigning queen. What started as a small Italian Market restaurant has grown into a mini empire. In addition to standard omelettes and two eggs any style, there are brunch specials like the “Hello Gourdeous,” brioche French toast stuffed with cinnamon mascarpone, apple cranberry apricot chutney, and coffee cake crumbles; and buttermilk fried chicken and waffles cheekily named “Maybe She’s Born With It, Maybe It’s Maple Leaves.” If you’re looking at one of the many colleges in West Philly, make sure to stop here for fuel." - Devra Ferst

It was a great experience. This place is good place to have brunch. The staffs is extremely friendly and welcome. I come in group of 2 with my wife on Monday afternoon and still need to wait in line for about 20-25 minutes before we had our seat. I went during summer holidays, so it maybe a little bit crowded(?). I had Chicken and Waffle and my wife had French Toast. We also ordered sides of sunny side egg and bacon. The chicken tasted so good, it was juicy, tender, and the sauce is also tasty. The french toast is also awesome. The cream and sauce was sweet enough (not too sweet). The portion is quite filling. The price was kind of expensive in my opinion but it worth the taste and the portion. You should consider come early if want to have seat immediately or prepare to wait in line.

Google
The mushroom toast and key lime pie pancakes were both delicious. We also tried the peach French toast, which was just okay—I didn’t really get any peach flavor, and it tasted more like regular French toast with whipped cream. Would definitely return to try some of their other brunch items.

Google
The shrimp and grits had a great taste, but the added salmon was extremely overcooked. Our server, April, was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean, lively, had tons of natural light, and had papertowels in the bathroom. We also loved the free photo stand. I would definitely recommend this location.

Google
We ordered orange juice and three kimchi bowls—absolutely delicious! It was our first time trying the dish, and the unique, bold flavors really stood out in a great way. I’d recommend adding a bit more white rice to help balance the intensity of the flavors, but overall, it was an excellent meal. The location is beautiful, and the food quality is top-notch. Highly recommend! Definitely recommend sitting in the patio if the wait is long.

Google
This place is a great spot for brunch. We got the chilaquiles, cinnamon roll pancakes, cobb salad, eggs benedict, burger, and philadelphia style omelette. All of the food was very tasty, very fresh and high quality. The food is also very affordable, most items are under 20 dollars. The atmosphere was good, the restaurant is in a historic building that is renovated nicely with some cool art. The service was friendly, no complaints.

Google
Lovely place for solid staple breakfast and brunch food. Service was slow mainly because our server was “missing in action” many times and forgot to bring items we requested. we managed to get help mostly from the nice and friendly busboy who speak limited English. (Otherwise I will give no star)

Google
Dropped in with a couple of friends this morning for Brunch and had such a great time. Even though it was a rush hour but they were pretty prompt with allotting us the seats. I had the farmhouse omlette and one my friends had the mexican scramble. Both delicious. Might come back again to try the scramble for myself. The coffee was good too!

Google
Yummy Farmhouse omelet with variety - turkey bacon, asparagus, avocado 🥑. Chicken and waffles🧇😋 Sweet potato fries and regular fries - hot and tasty‼️ Beef Burger - lettuce, tomato, + 3 toppings - mushrooms, cheese, onions🤤 I will definitely return ‼️

Yelp
I Love this restaurant the Staff is always nice & I try to eat here every time Im in Philly. Today I had the Oogie Boogie breakfast special it consisted of Burnt end brisket and beef sausage, spanish onions, diced tomatoes and bell peppers mixed with mushroom gravy. Served over crispy home fries. Topped with diced avocado, green onions and a sunny-side up egg. My daughter had too. It was sooo freaking delicious, I asked for an order of sourdough to soak the natural sauce on the bottom of bowl. :) It would be assume if they made it a permanent part of the menu ...hint hint We had a 15 minute wait and the hostess suggested we could wait on the 2nd floor lounge area. So we went up and were pleasantly surprised. It consisted of mainly 3 large rooms with comfy couches and flop in chairs. It also has a game room with 2 pool tables and a air hockey table that you could use, which we did :) The short of it is the food is always delicious and fresh & the atmosphere is always relaxing. Even if there is a wait list you are Never rushed to get up and pay as soon as your finished eating.

Yelp
The food was amazing! Both dishes were super tasty and the drinks were to die for. The service was super fast and they were really friendly and helpful. I also loved the space. The cool building combined with the amazing artwork made it a super fun spot for breakfast.

Yelp
I stopped in the cute, artsy cafe for breakfast with my husband. The service was warm and friendly, the meal was filling and came out quick. I will visit again if in the area:,

Yelp
Perfect spot for a great breakfast! Driving around the neighborhood, we saw one location was packed and another spot was a brunch we weren't looking for, so glad we circled back! Our ultimate goal was to have a good coffee and that we did. I had the stuffed French toast latte and it did me such good justice! My food was even better; red pepper gouda soup with the Cali turkey and fries -- my on my!! Fries cooked to perfection, good aioli sauce, great amount of stacking on the sandwich. Most appreciated that there was no charge for subbing turkey bacon on the sandwich - it's the little things! Perfect location for a quaint, affordable cafe brunch for everyone. Hannah Grace took good care of us and made sure any questions were answered + good suggestions made. Can't wait to visit again!

Yelp
Even though the place was busy on a Sat morning, we got seated immediately. The food took about 20-25 minutes and considering the number of people there, that's not terrible. Our server was polite and checked in on us an appropriate number of times. My issues with this place are regarding the food and ambiance. I ordered the tofu bowl because I was drawn to the medley of veggies, shrooms, and peanut sauce it promised. While the portion was great - though a little rice heavy - the tofu, veggies, and rice were not seasoned and completely banked on the sauce to carry the flavor, which it simply could not...The dish tasted disjointed, if that makes sense, and I kept thinking to myself how I could have whipped up a better meal at home. Vegetarians/vegans, beware. You're better off getting the vegetarian huevos rancheros. As for the vibe of the place, I think it has a lot of potential given the architecture of the building. However, this is the third Sabrina's location I've been to, and it's definitely the noisiest due to the acoustics (tall ceilings and wooden floors)...It felt overstimulating compared to most places I've been to. I should also note the pop music clashes with the decor and Victorian architecture; the concept is a disservice to the building's historical and cultural value almost on the same level as a frat house in the surrounding neighborhood. Lastly, as someone who likes to take advantage of deals/promos, I was frustrated by the lack of Toast Tab integration even though they advertise it on the signage. The QR code on the drink menu sends you to the app, but there's no clear way of linking your receipt to your app account.

Yelp
This place is absolutely amazing! Came here to visit a friend who was a student in the area and we were warned about the long wait on the weekend. To our surprise it wasn't too busy despite already being a full place and packed by the time we left! I understand why they have multiple locations! First of all, my friend and I shared a cannoli French toast and it was such a delicious dish! It was not overly sweet and the crispy crunch for the cannoli added a nice texture contrast! The veggie omelette was also very tasty with a nice side of perfectly sized potatoes (which they call their homies). With both of these things, we all had a hard time finishing everything because they are so generous with their portions!!! The inside was also very charming with a style that I can only describe it as grandma's home. The house was very beautiful with nice decorations! Please make a stop to one of their location in Philly when you visit because you will be surprised by how good it is at the price point they offered!

Yelp
Oh! This place is a treasure! Our server was a delight- attentive, friendly and professional. The place is cozy and classic old home feeling. We came for Wednesday brunch, so happy to find a weekday brunch for our out of town birthday trip. It was fun to walk through campus afterwards to work off our table toast before getting on the Amtrak back to DC. We had coffee and water, instead of getting a wild latte .. .saving room for shared "table toast" - the seasonal pancake special - cinnamon pumpkin pancakes with crumbly streusel top, caramel, and cream cheese frosting (got it on the side.) I got an omelette with mushrooms, spinach, roasted peppers and Canadian bacon. The TOAST WAS HUGE AND GREAT. Get the multi grain! The homies (home fries) were also big and perfectly crispy outside served with sauteed onions and sweet peppers. My dining partner got the ultimate Mexican omelette but subbed the grits for homies. Everything was perfectly cooked, ample portions and quality ingredients. Our server got us refills of coffee, water and more ketchup too.

Yelp
Came here as our first food stop on a Philly trip and it was such a good idea. Food: my wife got a nice cup of coffee and a breakfast taco which was delicious, especially the mix of flavors. The chicken and waffles I ordered were great and I'm glad I took the waiter's suggestion. Service: the waiter, Amjad, was super attentive and polite. I really enjoyed his suggestions and he was on top of things for how busy it was.

Yelp
Wonderful place for brunch! Even being very full it was a quick wait. The menu is large and creative. We decided to order sweet and savory to try both options. The lemon ricotta pancakes were fluffy and delicious was some tasty blueberries as well. The bahn mi was absolutely delicious--the pork was nice and crispy as was the role. They also have very tasty chai lattes!

Yelp
I've passed by this spot often and always admired the architecture. Decided to dine in over the summer. It was bright and airy inside, very casual and welcoming. Tables didn't stay empty long, even on a Thursday morning/midday. Initially had my eyes set on the seasonal fish sandwich,* but ended up getting the salmon teriyaki bowl (also seasonal). I substituted coconut rice for soba. The bowl seemed like a well intentioned attempt to offer a healthier option--but was a mix of flavors thrown together. The salmon was grilled w/teriyaki sauce. Why top it with chipotle aioli?? The puffed rice noodles may have been an interesting looking garnish, but was an odd texture in the bowl. Ultimately the pile of it just got in the way while eating *Returned about a month later and got the fish sandwich. It was definitely the better dish!

Yelp
Let's start with our waiter, Connor. He was helpful, funny and full of personality. Exactly what you need in the morning. My breakfast was delightful. It was fresh, clean and delicious. The bread. Oh, my. The bread. I wish I could use it as a pillow. The actual building is gorgeous. The artwork embodies everything this place stands represents. Love. History. Delicious.

Yelp
I recently went with a group of colleagues for lunch and had a great time. They were able to seat us quickly and the staff was very polite. I got the chicken and waffles shown on the breakfast section of their menu, and it was delicious! I will definitely be adding this place to my list of go to lunch spots.

Yelp
Visited Sabrina's Cafe after being recommended this place for brunch by my friends and I'm so happy I took their advice! I visited with a group on Saturday morning and had to wait around half an hour for a table for 3. We ordered a variety of dishes to share and had a hard time choosing as there were many delicious options to pick from. We ended up settling with the Chicken & Waffles, Porky & Petunia's Breakfast Hash, and Lemon Ricotta Pancakes. My favorite had to be the breakfast hash. I loved the contrast in textures from the tender pork, soft avocados, and crunchy tater tots. Combined with a generous helping of Cholula hot sauce, I couldn't stop eating until I was done. The fried chicken with waffles was also done incredibly well. Chicken was tender and juicy, yet crispy. The pancakes were huge! There is an option to get a singular pancake instead of a stack and I would definitely recommend that to those who are looking for a lighter meal. Our wait staff was super friendly and really responsive when we had a few requests. The vibe of the restaurant is just like your typical brunch place, vibrant with college students and families. I would definitely visit Sabrina's again given the next opportunity!

Yelp
i like sabrina's as a whole, but this was definitely not my favorite location. cute spot on drexel campus, easy to find. the main reason i'm giving this location 3 stars is because of the service and seating arrangement. the hostess (whose name i did not catch, unfortunately) was not the nicest and refused to seat me because my friend was running late. i would understand this if the place was busy, but it was almost entirely empty at 8am in the morning. we were eventually seated at the tiniest two-person table wedged into a very awkward corner of the restaurant. i could not physically pull my chair out without first moving the table away from the wall. our server was friendly and prompt. i ordered the chicken & biscuits which was just ok. i was excited to try it, but everything was dry, even with the gravy on top. my friend seemed to like her chicken & waffles, but i did not try it. i did enjoy my cinnamon toast crunch chai latte. honestly, i would not return to this location unless it is out of convenience.
google avatar

Yelp
Tasty breakfast items, large portions and reasonable prices. Lines can be long but you get real time updates on your place in line on your phone which makes the wait less tedious.
google avatar

Jagger G.

Yelp
I lived close by and decided to try this place out as it was walking distance. I got seated immediately and just a few minutes later the server came and took down my order. The amount of options on the menu made me quite happy and I felt as though when I came back later I would have no trouble finding something else to try that looked great. I decided on the Chilaquiles with a side of sausage links and an iced latte. The food came out very quickly and everything was amazing! The eggs were flavorful and paired with the chips and salsa made for an excellent combo that overall tasted fresh. The sausage links were good as well and I ordered them to try and get in some more protein for that day. The coffee was pretty good, but it tasted a little watery, next time I think I might just stick with a simple hot coffee. The restaurant was located in an old styled victorian type of house and made for a very unique experience and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Pricing was not bad as well and was pretty standard compared to most sit down breakfast places.

Yelp
One hours wait on Mother's Day was not unexpected so I have no complaints there because everyone agreed to it and it was beautiful outside. Also good to know that you can see your place in line with the link they give you. We were a table of four and sat in the main dining room when you first come in. Table was two pushed together and uneven. Our server was very friendly and composed. I say this because she had a lot of tables but she was on it. As we read the menu I saw plates coming out to other tables and my jaw was dropping. So much so that I was totally taking pictures of other peoples food. This being my first time at Sabrina's and seeing a Chicken and Waffles on the menu I had to go for it. The presentation was amazing, that is for sure, the taste however was a little bland. I had the same problem with the same dish at Green Eggs Café. Chicken was very under seasoned. Perhaps the batter the chicken was dipped into was seasoned but that chicken was not brined and you can tell. The waffle was nice and fluffy and the herbed butter on top added a layer of savory dimension but I needed more. I would pass on this but definitely make a return trip to try other items such as these that my companions ordered. The lemon ricotta pancakes with berry compote. First of all these pancakes are enormous. My aunt ordered them and I knew she would not be able to finish even after sharing some of them with the table. They were so delicious. Light and airy, sweet but not overly so, with a tart compote. OMG. Also the Huevos Rancheros were another big hit at my table. As were the jerk, shrimp tacos. I also had a side of potatoes with out onions and they were perfect. I wanted bacon but they were out. Another diner with me originally wanted to build his own burger but they were out of burgers as well. So that' is how I got to a three star rating. I plan on going back so hopefully I can improve it.

Yelp
The food was amazingly delicious. I had the tofu scramble which tasted better than eggs! They also serve nice portions which is great.

Linda L.

Yelp
We have a deliver from DoorDash. I am sure if we eat at the restaurant, dishes will be even better. However, even with delivery I am happily surprised by how good Island shrimp salad tastes. And jerk Shrimp taco got approved from friends. Definitely will order again.

Yelp
I haven't been to a lot of breakfast places in Philly but I see why Sabrina's is one place people always recommend. Dining turnover seems quick so I arrived on a busy Saturday morning for a party of two and were able to be seated in less than 10 minutes. They don't take reservations but you can come in and put your name on the waiting list. The only part that stinks is that they don't have an indoor waiting area. I had the shrimp and grits which were great. They have a lot of options on their menu and a good variety of coffees.
google avatar

Pamela P.

Yelp
Great brunch spot with delicious food and fair prices. We had the chicken and waffles and the special red velvet Valentine's waffle. Both were great, fair portions and good ratio of each ingredient. I think my favorite thing was the chicken and waffles butter. If I'm not wrong it was mixed with basil, unique and delicious. The interior and decor is pretty and service was really good, we ordered hot chocolate but it came cold, our server replaced it as soon as we mentioned it. They don't take reservations and it gets really crowded, they do have a good waiting area but try to arrive early to avoid waiting, we arrived around 9 am and were seated immediately.

Yelp
I used to live in Philadelphia for 7 years because of attending pharmacy school, and this restaurant was a KEY staple of my experience. The absolute go to for brunch after a night of partying and drinking lols. Things to highlight: - This particular location sits near/on Drexels campus, and there is no lot for parking so street parking will be your only option (or Ubering). - They also do not take reservations so when you arrive, the hostess will enter your name in some system, tell you what the wait will be, and provide you one of those things that vibrate when your table is ready. Sometimes the wait can be up to 45 min, but if you're not in a rush, there is a seating area on the second floor that you and your guests can go to to hang out until your table is ready. It's comfy and reminds me of someone's living room lol. Other than that, I love it here. It's quaint, the food quantities are enormous, and VERY affordable.
google avatar

Taylor Y.

Yelp
This is by far one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in the area! From lemon ricotta pancakes to chicken sandwiches, this place has something delicious for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. Portions are also HUGE! The interior is cute and cozy, and don't be surprised if you're back to back with another table. The wait staff are very attentive. My only negative is the long wait times on occasion, but it's definitely because of what a great brunch spot this is.
google avatar

Mario G.

Yelp
Great food and great service. Very attentive staff. Highly recommended and popular so expect a short wait.

Rachel T.

Yelp
The French Toast was perfectly crisp and accompanied with perfectly ripe and fresh peaches. The coffee was hot and perfectly balanced. This meal was the highlight of my trip to Philadelphia. Good service, nice atmosphere, and delicious food!
google avatar

Marissa Y.

Yelp
I have come here a few times. During my last visitor, post pandemic, they have a new group of tram members. Even though it was slow and early in the afternoon, we were sat right under a speaker. We had to ask them to turn it down because it was so loud that we couldn't hear our conversation. The food was very disappointing. While I am appreciative that they have incorporated vegan items, they aren't taking the steps to truly make it vegan. I couldn't finish my sandwich because it tasted like it was cooked on a surface that had meat cooked on it and the taste was terrible. Many of us who choose this lifestyle do so because we have spiritual and religious obligations. I wish places of business respected this. Unfortunately, I will not be returning.

Tatiana F.

Yelp
Adding an updated review. Food is STILL excellent! Thank you guys for always accommodating allergies and many thanks to the chef
google avatar

Adam N.

Yelp
Coffee had coffee grinds in it... food is alright. It's a nice breakfast spot for a quick bite, but nothing too special. The staff and vibe is good though.
google avatar

Natalia P.

Yelp
So far, Sabrina's food has been consistent at both this location and the collingswood location over the bridge. The grits are well seasoned without being salty, and they don't have a gritty texture. The stuffed challah french toast always hits different. And I didn't get the shrimp and grits this time, but that usually slaps too (aside from them leaving the shrimp tails on ). Side note, what is that sauce they use in the shrimp and grits--been trying to figure it out for forever!! I love the coffee, pretty strong which is great. And they have cool flavors you can add like banana and strawberry. AND.. they have milk alternatives (like oat milk, almond milk, for my lactose intolerant girlies ). This is a spot that is good to order online from, but even better to enjoy while seated in the restaurant. The worst thing about this location is probably the parking, given it's so close to the universities. But once you get past that, be ready for quick and friendly service. First time? & are you hungry, hungry? Then go ahead and get yourself the shrimp and grits, 2 eggs, a breakfast meat of your choice (can't go wrong with their scrapple or their breakfast sausage links), and throw in an order of stuffed challah french toast for the table while you're at it (huge portion). Oh, and don't forget to treat yourself with a fun little caffeinated drinky drink, they always have something new on the menu.
google avatar

Heather M.

Yelp
Beautiful place! Absolutely beautiful. The wait time was long before our reservation but the views, music, and honestly the location was well worth the wait. The noise level was average; nothing to note really in this area. Our table was perfect, the views of the neighborhood and the people around was great. I wish I would've paid attention to this location being a "dry location" instead of BYOB. My friend and I bought wine to have with brunch but were told we couldn't indulge. Our experience was still beautiful and one to remember. I would definitely go back to this location for the views and dining, but I'd also make sure to research the other locations as well. Their IG is up to date and the aesthetic is pleasing. Enjoy.

Yelp
the food was amazing ! however the service was alittle lacking , this place is huge it's in a frat house so they def need more staffing . it took over 15 mins to get water . and over 25 mins to order . we also waited over an hr for seats. however they do have a second floor where we just chilled and waited
google avatar

W J.

Yelp
Amazing food. Great service. There was a wait, but it was Sunday morning so...to be expected. We waited 35 minutes for a table for two. We had the Eggs Benedict with spinach, bacon n the side, a tofu scramble, with a waffle to share.
google avatar

Faith C.

Yelp
I absolutely love it here !! The greatest of all the French stuffed toast is PERFECT with the bananas added on with it. 10/10 I been recommending to everyone! Thank youuu again
google avatar

Sarah L.

Yelp
The food was very good and the service was literally the fastest from any place that I've ever been, even fast food! We checked the menu prior to arriving so we ordered as soon as we sat down and everything came right after the other. We over ordered just to taste a few different items and I enjoyed everything especially the French Toast. Not many breakfast spots can get the French Toast right but Sabrina's and Honey's has it down pat. We'll definitely be back!!!

Ken S.

Yelp
Food was great! Three of us had brunch and all of us were pleased. The potatoes were especially good. It was a Sunday around noon, and we did have to wait about thirty minutes to get seated.

Yelp
This was my first time here and it was great. The service was good as well as the food. Just wish the potatoes were cooked a little longer.

Yelp
Sabrina's Cafe is said to be one of the must-go-to-brunch places in Philly so I was excited to go, but ended up being a bit disappointed with the food served... My friend and I went on a Saturday morning for brunch and we were quickly seated. Along with their usual menu, the had a "Summer Blockbuster Brunch" which had dishes inspired by recent movie releases which was cute! The two of us ended up getting the stuffed challah french toast and the chicken & waffle to share even though the blockbuster brunch was very enticing. The stuffed challah french toast was huge, but so soft and fluffy. It was a little bit too sweet for me though, but I would recommend this for those with a sweet tooth! As for the chicken & waffle, the fried chicken was crispy and the herb butter just enhanced the flavors of the dish while pairing nicely with the sweetness of the waffle and vanilla bean syrup. But to our dismay, the food was room temperature. On top of that, my friend who had been to this cafe a couple years and had tried the chicken & waffle said that the chicken used to be much bigger. Not sure if we were just unlucky that day, but really wished our experience here was better.

Yelp
Excellent breakfast and espresso coffees. Friendly and efficient service from Michael. Chicken and biscuits. Avocado toast. Big @ss burrito. Homies are crispy on the outside and hot and tender on the inside. Coming back!

Yelp
My food was wonderful along with the service. My French Toast with bananas and walnuts was amazing. I had enough food for dinner as well.

Yelp
Decided to venture back into Philadelphia this past weekend for valentine's day and brought my boyfriend to Sabrina's! This is my favorite cafe location as I love exploring the common area upstairs with several the several rooms of books and writing utensils available. Our waitress was wonderful and although it was a 30 minute wait, I felt it was well-worth it. I ordered their huevos rancheros which was delicious but a bit too heavy for me personally. I do however recommend their french toast hands down! Glad to have returned since college and looking for another trip some time in the near future.
google avatar

Aubrey W.

Yelp
If you want a classic American brunch with an elevated twist and mouth watering specials, Sabrina's is the place for you. I got the blueberry lemon ricotta pancakes, which were ginormous. I couldn't really taste the lemon, but the blueberry sauce and whipped cream on top was delicious. It was a very satisfying and filling meal, especially for those with a sweet tooth. We really wanted to try their winter seasonal options, but unfortunately they were out of stock! The service was also excellent and the staff was very accommodating for our large group. Sabrinas is always busy for brunch and they don't take reservations. So either get there early or be prepared to wait!

Yelp
Eggs Benedict was good. Building was really cute. Prices were pretty standard. The staff were super nice and let me charge my phone. They were all just super attentive and friendly, it was really chill.

Haven't been to Sabrina's in a while- was back today. This was the first time I haven't had to wait for a table (went around 11 am on a Friday), probably because it's the summer. Service 5/5 - our waiter was very nice and attentive. I usually get the cannoli french toast, but I like that they rotate things out seasonally. Right now there is a Stranger Things themed menu. The peach french toast caught my eye- I love a nice fresh peach. Overall I liked it a lot, it wasn't too sweet though of course I wish there were more peaches. Very summery. I will say whatever music playlist they have is very much giving middle school dance Hannah Montana followed by Usher followed by Bleeding Love followed by Pitbull is... a choice

Yelp
I'm here to say that this place has the best shrimp and grits I've ever had. I don't remember anything else about the brunch but those grits. Wow. This is the kind of grits where you're happy to find that there's more than enough flavorful goodness to pair with every bite of grits. The amount of shrimp and bacon was perfect. I almost ordered a whole other plate to go. For dinner. Or maybe the next day. I don't even know, I just wanted more. The French toast was pretty dang good too. But the grits, man. That's what I'll go back for.

Yelp
Huevos Rancheros for the win! Ageiably one of my fave meals when I come to Sabrina's! My eyes were bigger than my stomach so I played it smart and split french toast with my homie. The wait was only 15 minutes since they are only doing walk-ins. The wait staff is so cool, too! Very light humored and gave me a heads up they were out of salted caramel iced coffee which is my fave thing ever. Hopefully I find someone to come with me next time to eat some more stuffed challah french toast lol
