I heard great things about this place so I was excited to try it. Ambiance-wise it's very casual, but hey, all you need is a place to sit, right? We came in the middle of the afternoon around 2-3pm but it was quite packed and difficult to find a table. However, we lucked out eventually, and the line to order wasn't to bad. The process is pretty streamlined as you place your order on a tablet and pick it up at the counter. There were a ton of yummy things to choose from--traditional appetizers, wraps, biryani, various cuts of meat, curries, fries, salads--the list goes on and on. I ultimately decided on the original shawarma wrap. here are 3 types of shawarma, and I wish they explained the differences between them in the menu. I should have ordered a different variety. The one I got was a generous portion, but I wish it had a little more spice and pickles. I also wish they gave more sauces/bigger portions of sauce included with the meal! The tabouleh was fresh, lemony, and made for a nice side dish--can't go wrong. I tried some bites of other dishes as well. The chicken biryani was out of this world--one of the best I've had (outside of my mom's of course)! The raita on the side was unique because of the grated carrots--lovely flavor there as well. I loved the chicken tikka as well. Unexpectedly, the fries were also amazing--great crispy texture and very well-seasoned. The garlic naan was absolute perfection as well--buttery, garlicky, simply irresistible.
It was a big hit! Would definitely return.
