"At this West Covina restaurant, they call their kamayans “platters,” which we call kamayan-lite - they’re affordable sets that are smaller than many of our other picks, but can still feed up to four people. You can customize a platter or choose one of the set options, but we like the Seafood Kamayan, which comes with steamed alimango (rock crab), shrimp, fried tilapia, inihaw na tahong (grilled mussels), mango salad, and kangkong (onchoy). The Meat Lovers platter is also a great option, with inihaw na baboy (pork chops), barbecue pork ribs, and plenty more." - kaila yu

First time experiencing Filipino food without my Filipino friends. A lot of Filipino people are here for lunch on the weekends then it's authentic. The price is reasonable for me because it's not a fast food chain. I believe they need one more waitress on the weekend, and serve the food a little bit faster. And 15% guarantee tips pay if you pay in a card. (For me it's standard so it's ok) The food is very delicious especially the BBQ skewers. (juicy and al dente) Guisado is very good. (Recommend eat with hot sauce) Garlic rice is good. Sago Gulaman is worth a try. A lot of people get the butterfly shrimp here, and I probably come back for more crispy food and soup.

Salo Salo remains a constant favorite of mine, and today's visit was no exception. The crispy meat platter was an explosion of flavors and textures, while the bagoong fried rice added a unique twist. As always, impeccable service and delicious food make for an unbeatable combination.

Hospitality needs improvement. Service took a long time after we were sat down and it wasn’t even busy. The lumpia appetizer was mediocre and expensively priced. It cost as much as a meal. The main dish was ok, nothing to brag about. Probably will not return and will not recommend.

Came here with my Pilipina girlfriend and her husband. We ordered the following items: Fried Pork Belly Garlic Fried Rice Mixed Grill Platter For dessert we had Turon with ice cream All of the food was amazing. The platter was designed to serve four, so we had plenty left over. A fun experience. Would highly recommend.

Google
This cafe and grill in West Covina has by the best Filipino food in Southern California. Portions are not large but always satisfying: fresh, hot, well-seasoned and appealing to the eye and the palate. Servers are hospitable and food choices are diverse from all-day breakfast to BBQ to family platters. The only limitation is the early closing most days around 8 p.m., so arrive early and order take-out an hour before closing.

Went here with a big Filipino group and we ordered a lot. It has a lot of seating areas and a big television along with a moon roof. They ordered the Family Special(delicious variety of bbq), Crispy bangus(cooked perfectly), Miki Bihon(great flavor with excellent toppings), Sinigang(amazing broth taste), Lechon kawali plate(the skin was perfectly cooked and crispy), Halo Halo(favorite dessert) & Lechon Tokwa(favorite pork dish today). Overall it was a great spot to take your family. The flavors were on point and customer service was great.

We went because of my daughter friend recommendation, what we found was Awful service even they were only about 6 customers in this place, we order a specialty barbecue plate, and all meats and beef were do dry and overcooked with burn tips and ends, I think it was kitchen leftovers from previous day, we were there at noon for lunch, it was bad experience, the Limpiar and Pan it was ok, all afternoon and overnight I had stomach ache and discomfort all night with strong nausea I feel little better now with a bounty tummy, but yes certainly I don't recommend this place and besides we'll never comeback. So if you like to see reviews before please don't go here will be a bad experience, waste of time and somehow of money too.

Friendly and welcoming hosts, attentive to guests, food descent, have some room for improvement, tables for 4 can be a little wider, we ordered a lot and movements are limited on the table. I will dine in again and even considering take out.

Yelp
Visited this amazing Filipino restaurant with my in-laws while we were in LA last week. The food was AMAZING. All my go to Filipino foods are on this menu. My go to is the Sinigang, Fried Bagnus, Afritada, Pinkabet and I'm sure there are a few things I'm missing simply because I cannot remember the names of the dishes. I am still in my beginner era of Filipino foods and have been trying more when we get together with family. So I am still trying new things! If you have a larger party, they will wait until everyone arrives before you place any drink or food orders. So keep that in mind! The ambiance is very family friendly and not too loud so you can catch up with your friends or family. We really enjoyed Salo Salo and will visit when back in LA/West Covina!

Yelp
Salo Salo Kitchen is a nice restaurant for large gatherings with friends or family. The service is excellent! Our waiter was always ready to fill our glasses or clear out any dishes that were in the way. To be honest, I thought the food was okay. It was good, but I can't pinpoint a wow factor. However, I think that my opinion is heavily biased because I eat Filipino food pretty often. The fresh buko water was great! It's not often that I can drink one straight from the coconut and enjoy the flesh afterwards.

Cecilia L.

Yelp
Food was not good at all. It just doesn't taste good. We ordered kare kare , Sotanghon, crispy pata , and turon with ube ice cream. Service is ok . Ambiance is ok. Won't go back.

Yelp
Sisig, lechon kawali, and garlic rice were all delicious. Salo salo has been a staple for many years to many people. Fantastic service and food with a good crowd.

Yelp
I have been coming here several times during pre COVID years and also before YELP. Today my brother-in-law wanted Filipino Cuisine lunch to celebrate his 85th birthday. I highly recommended Salo Salo since I've eaten here and loved the food. We were immediately seated at a round table for 6. Restaurant was decorated with hanging mini capiz star garland all around the dining room. Very festive but a nostalgic feeling of home country especially during Christmas . Well..... I was disappointed with the mango juice which was watered down and no taste of mango flavor at all !!! After I complained about it , our server brought back mango slushy ( which still tasted like the first juice but this time it was thicker) then he informed me it was not the Philippine brand but a kinda Indian brand juice!!!????!!! Well..... Our #10 MEAT LOVER's Kamayan Platter which was a feast of grilled favorites : Inihaw na Baboy (Pork chops cut into strips but meat was cold and tough) Beef Tapa ( marinated beef strips that were cold and meat tough) Inihaw na Manok ( 2 pcs charbroiled chicken bone-in leg quarters that were cold but had tender meat) BBQ Pork Ribs was delicious and meat was tender and tasty! Suppose to have Mango Salad as per menu, instead got salted egg with diced fresh tomatoes and onion salad??? While writing this review and reading the snap shot of the menu, I didn't realize that we didn't get the bundle of KangKong ??? This is the end of our platter dish. Well.... We ordered the PALABOK...this RICE NOODLES dish topped with shrimps, smoked fishy and crispy pork came also was served cold and dish was bland as well. Well.... We ordered Fresh Lumpia... bland veggie fillings Well... We had the LECHON KARE KARE which was plated with the sauce on the side of the bowl so as not to un-crisp the lechon ( fried pork belly chunk slices with veggies ). At this point ... I would think they changed cook ? Changed management? Not sure ! I had to ask the others who dined with me about their opinion. Almost everyone were agreeing with how bland food tasted ! Except for the birthday boy who enjoyed his food , and THAT's what mattered he was contented!

Yelp
Had a great time hanging out with my friends over some delicious grub! I went for the crispy seafood plate, and let me tell you, it was incredible! So crunchy and flavorful, especially those calamari dipped in their sauces. And don't even get me started on the garlic rice - absolute perfection! The blend of flavors with the seafood was spot on. Definitely a place worth recommending, and the prices are pretty fair for the generous portions you get! The service was excellent too! The waiter was friendly, cracking jokes with us, and made sure our water glasses were always topped up. Plus, there was ample room for large groups, which was perfect for our gathering!

Yelp
Came here to eat with my family Thursday for dinner. Got seated right away. I noticed there was only was server so he was busy running around trying to take care of the tables. There were only two other tables occupied when we walked it but it definitely got a lot busier after we got seated. We got our food around 15-20mins after we ordered. The palabok was good, tho the squid on it was unexpected. The halo-halo special didn't really have too many ingredients in it. The chicken was little bit dry. But the pork sisig, lechon kawali and inihaw na liempo plus the bagoong rice were all on point. The pricing wasn't too bad and you can pay the bill through the receipt QR code which made it convenient.

Rolly D.

Yelp
Lumpiang Sarina was so lame and overpriced. I ordered to go and did not check the price. I don't mind if the lumpia was presented in a nice, appetizing way, It was just wrapped in a waxed paper and the portion is not worth the price.

Bienvenido A.

Yelp
I liked the bbq pork ribs the most. Charbroiled chicken moist and tender. Grilled pork chop and beef tapa was a little too tough for me. Palabok was on the bland side and so is the kare kare (liked the veggies though). Fresh lumpia was very good and also halo halo for dessert. Sad to say mango juice was awful (tasted not even mango at all). Service was ok. Would like to go back and try others on menu list (maybe I'll like it better). Place makes you feel home with their typical native decors for the season.

Lissa L.

Yelp
They open at 10am on Saturdays, so it was perfect for brunch. We were seated quickly and our server was attentive and got us our drink orders lickety split. We ordered the sisig, garlic fried rice, lechon kawali and lumpiang sariwa. The garlic fried rice was generous and could feed four. The lechon kawali was crispy and perfectly seasoned, but be prepared - it's super fatty. The lumpiang sariwa had chickpeas in it (that's not typical Pinoy) and was $17 - and given it had just a few greens in it and was not a significant serving, it was priced a little too high for the value it provided. For me, the ultimate test for a Pinoy kitchen is if they do sisig correctly. Their version had red and green bell peppers and the meat was drenched in soy sauce. Everyone in our party found it just a touch too salty. Plus there were more fatty pieces than meat, so we were not happy with it. We just ate it because we were starving. So when our server came to ask us if we found everything ok, we mentioned our disappointment with the sisig, but before my husband could even complete his sentence, he turned his back to us and walked away. It was a bit rude, but we could tell he was probably just defensive for their cooks. We're sure they did their best. What we did appreciate was the cleanliness of the place, as well as how quick and responsive the servers were. They paid close attention to when our glasses of water were close to being half empty. So that was wonderful. I'm sure for most Pinoys this is a great restaurant, and it probably is. But we like the way sisig is done back in Manila and prefer patronizing restaurants that keep their sisig authentic. Although we probably won't be coming back, we wish nothing but the best to the Salu Salo Kitchen though. :)

Yelp
The sign says OPEN with hours to close at 8:00 PM. We came at 7:35 PM but the guy who was wiping the table loudly said "we are close already". What kind of business advised and practiced differently?

Denise M.

Yelp
Took my mom and grandmother here because they were craving Filipino food and they didn't feel like just picking up something under a heating lamp. We came a little bit after lunch time which wasn't busy at all and the service was quick and very friendly. We order the crispy seafood platter, Ginaatang Kangkong with Shrimp and Kare Kare. Everything was made fresh and it really hit the spot! No complaints from the elders.

Mari J.

Yelp
We were long for the barbecue place and we found this on Yelp. We came in to try their pork and chicken BBQ both were very delicious they came with sides of bbq sauce and vinegar. Also order Sinigang na pork spareribs. It was perfect sourness and size for the price. Our server was Grace who is very helpful and delightful, recommended us the bbq and some other entrees they have that are best seller so we can try next visit. The place is clean and there is no loud music. I also learned that they have buffet for parties which' is interesting Ample parking as well as we lighted parking lot if you are dining at night.

Will C.

Yelp
Plenty of parking for this establishment as it shares a lot with the strip mall. Lots of seating within the well defined Pilipino decor including photos of favorite dishes and the large mural. We arrived at approximately 3 PM, so it was not very busy. Table service was quick and efficient, and very friendly. We felt as if the staff genuinely cared that we had a pleasant dining experience. We ordered an egg roll tray, limpia, lechon, and pork and chicken dishes. Each dish came with its own sauce for dipping. Way too much for two people, so we had togo boxes. Our food was mostly dry foods, but was well prepared, very crispy on the outside, and definitely had an authentic Filipino feel and taste . The food came surprisingly quickly to the table, and was reasonably priced, delicious and fulfilling. Well recommended, we will return .

Randall M.

Yelp
I'm usually not a huge fan of Filipino food even though I'm Filipino . Crispy pata here is the business though!!! Took my dad who's a huge critic of all food and he decided to take a crispy pata to go. Bangong rice, bomb. Lots of deep fried stuff. Seems family owned and service is sometimes very slow. No alcohol available. Brightly lit with many windows in the front with a view of the parking lot and street.

Feluxgra N.

Yelp
Local Filipino restaurant. Free parking lot. No alcohol available. Credit cards accepted. Indoor dining and takeout/delivery available. The restrooms are located in the back left hand side of the restaurant. It is good for big groups and for kids. Service was a bit slow but I think they're understaffed and they are friendly. My family and I come here to get our lechon kuwali/crispy pata fix, but during our latest visit, the quality has seemed to gone downhill. On the bright side, the fried family combo is stated to be good for 2-3 people, but there was more than enough for four people. However, the garlic in the dishes didn't appear to be fresh. The pork ribs weren't well flavored, but we did enjoy the fried chicken. We got an order of pork sticks (you can get them a la carte) as well as sinigang to round out the meal in addition to garlic rice.

Teresa B.

Yelp
Their service was fast. Good foods. I recommend their crispy pata especial with Kare Kare. Their servers are very attentive.

Dee D.

Yelp
We ordered several dishes. All were either salty or greasy and tasted old! The Chinese sausage were dried, overcooked and the food tasty fishy without any seafood in the dish! We had poor service for an hour, then when brought the check the older man pretended to be polite, for a good tip, Nono no!

Mike J.

Yelp
Had the Kamayan Seafood Platter and it was very good. We also enjoyed the Bulalo. We will definitely come back.

P R.

Yelp
Love this place, everything is good here, especially meat platter. Service is great as well!

Jess L.

Yelp
This place was really tasty and the customer service was excellent too! Definitely going to go back next time I'm in town 10/10

Megan L.

Yelp
We came here on a quiet weekday afternoon and enjoyed a meat lovers' platter which was easily split between 5 hungry people. The meat itself was fairly tasty, with the ribs being the highlight of being incredibly tender and juicy. The other pork and chicken options were yummy as well but slightly dry. They also did not provide the kangkong that was listed as part of the platter (in their defense, we did not bring this up to the waitstaff). Another slight annoyance is that there is an additional fee for white rice. Overall, I would return to this restaurant to try some other dishes and get the ribs again, but probably pass on the meat platter.

Fernanda M.

Yelp
This place is spacious and bright. The staff is not very attentive or friendly BUT the food is delicious. The adobo fried rice was flavorful. You want to keep eating it after every bite. The lechon kawali was tender and crispy. They paired it with two sauces , each tangy and vinegary which balanced out the meatiness of the lechon. The lupiang was so bomb! It had that crunch and delicious filling. The sauce that was paired with them was sweet and sour and added to flavor of the roll. The food was worth the price! Definitely recommend.

Pucci T.

Yelp
My aunt recommended this place so we went. We ordered Sisih, Kare Kare, and Pinakbet. And don't forget to order the garlic rice! Everything was good. Service was quick and there was a lot of room for lunch so no need to wait. The place decorated nicely. Highly recommended!

Anj B.

Yelp
I grew up eating Salo-Salo with my family so I think very highly of this restaurant. Yesterday, I ordered Sinigang because I was feeling under the weather. Very disappointed with my food. The pork seemed like it was old pork that was reused for the soup, and it wasn't tender at all. Unfortunately won't be coming back anymore from this experience. I wanted to eat comfort food but was disappointed with the food quality.

Yasmin J.

Yelp
Nesty is one awesome server! We highly recommend Salo Salo and make sure you ask for Nesty.

Vanessa J.

Yelp
Best Sinigang I have had outside of the kitchen, the broth is clear and flavorful. Very good assistance and very kind to kids!

Jennifer S.

Yelp
I am a long time customer and have been coming here for many years. This is my number one favorite sit down Filipino cuisine restaurant. The place is modern, clean with lots of parking spots. Everything I tasted is excellent & delicious beef or pork or seafood with excellent customer service. I highly recommend Salo Salo if you want something unique and delicious. I always have a wonderful day eating and relaxing here at Salo Salo.

Sarah C.

Yelp
Came on a Monday night at 7pm. FOOD. We got the garlic fried rice (so simple but it was my favorite dish), the lumpia sampler, the adobo chicken, and the crispy pata. The lumpia was really good here as well. Personally, I thought the meat dishes were okay. I wouldn't recommend the crispy pata if you don't like fatty meat pieces or picking at the meat with your hands. We also got Salo Salo without the ice cream because they ran out and this was my second favorite because of all the texture! I give the food a 3.5/5 just because the meat didn't satisfy me. Also I didn't see many vegetable selections on the menu. SERVICE. The man who served us was SO accommodating and gave a lot of recommendations. However, there were only two other parties there besides us and they always took forever to serve us, so I was a bit irritated because there would be long periods of us waiting to be helped. PARKING There is a parking lot here! I was able to park right at the front when I came.

Elizabeth N.

Yelp
We came to the restaurant for a reception and they were nice enough to have the cake, balloons and signage setup for the hosts. It is definitely a homely feel and very comfortable atmosphere. The food was pretty good. The bbq plate was flavorful. All the meats but the beef was tender. The beef was a tad too cooked. The lechon plate was pretty on point. The seasoning on the meats were yummy! Crispy outside and tender inside. The siningang was bleh. You can tell it was mainly powder and not many of the usual veggies. The pancit was good. The noodles were not overcooked and it had a good flavoring. The desserts were the best items. You have to try anything here with the UBE ice cream! They forgot quite a few of our UBE and drink orders, but I think it's due to the decreased staff. Overall, this is definitely a homely restaurant to come to for puniy food.

Michael M.

Yelp
Alright, let's chat about Salo Salo Kitchen. Tried their fish sisig and it was...interesting. Picture this: fish meets soy sauce, then decides to get funky with a bar of soap. Tasted like it was whipped up by someone who's never had real sisig before. Tried their lomi soup too, but it was more like a cabbage parade swimming in watery broth. Lomi's supposed to be thick, right? On the bright side, the crispy pata didn't disappoint, was decent and a nice surprise amidst the weird flavor fest. So, if you're up for a quirky food ride, Salo Salo might be your place. But if you're after authentic Filipino flavors, maybe give it a miss. The service was ok, but there really isn't any reason to return to this place anymore for me, especially since there are so many Filipino restaurants in the area!

Ann C.

Yelp
Came for a private event. Food was served buffet style. The food was very tasty - pancit, crisp y Pata, BBQ Chicken skewers, teriyaki chicken, sweet and sour fish (this was my favorite), lumping Shanghai, garlic rice and white rice. Dessert was a Filipino favorite of Leche Flan and Buko Pandan. Drinks consisted of soda and sago gulaman (Filipino boba and jello). It was nice to get together especially since the entire restaurant was rented out for our event (it is a small restaurant by the way). Good food and good company. What more can you ask for?

Imelda T.

Yelp
First of all, the food didn't taste good, and they serve the dishes in increments. We basically have to ask several times. From the Pinakbet, that tasted blah, with hardly any vegies but beans and eggplants. The Lechon kawali still has blood, and served last as they almost forgot! The fresh lumpia has this overly sweet sauce. The sizzling squid was rubbery. This was the worst experience, eating at a Filipino spot.

Cyn B.

Yelp
It was VERY surprising that a dog (!!!) was IN the restaurant, although it could also have been snuck in in a tote bag. This is generally SO unhealthy.

Lilibeth C.

Yelp
Omg good food fast . John and Grace the best amazing food I highly recommend this place.

Marilyn G.

Yelp
I don't remember when the last time I sat down to dine in at a Filipino restaurant 'coz whenever we go we always order to-go 'coz everytime we tried there are so many people. But this time we decided to stay, sit down, and dine-in here at SALO -SALO 'coz the place is not packed, maybe it's because we came way too early for dinner. Right away our server directed us to our Table and we ordered. *FAMILY SPECIAL - It's a COMBINATION of CHARBROILED MEATS and SEAFOOD with BBQ PORK and BBQ CHICKEN on skewers, Grilled Squid, Grilled Half shelled mussels, Stuffed Milk Fish, and grilled tomato. * SEAFOOD BAMI - A combination of Canton and Sotanghon noodles with Shrimps, muscles, squid, and fishballs. *KARE-KARE - Mixed Vegetable in Peanut Sauce with Beef. *PINAKBET - Mixed Vegetables with bagoong (Shrimp paste), shrimps, and Crispy Pork toppings. I first ordered their FAMILY SPECIAL. It's a big tray of Charbroiled Meats and i ordered a side of rice, and our server was already about to pick up the menu, but I said "Hold on, I'm not done yet," I believe he already thought that the Family special was already more than enough for 3 people ;) . But I wasn't only there to get full, but also to taste a couple more of the food on their menu, so I ordered 3 More sets of Food. The NOODLE SEAFOOD BAMI wasn't soggy, it was cooked well, but a bit salty for my taste. The PINAKBET with CRISPY PORK was good! And the veggies were cooked nicely, I love the Okra and eggplant, but the fried crispy pork added more flavor to this Pinakbet. And the KARE-KARE, when it was served to our table I was expecting more of an Orange color sauce, but it came out with a bit Dark sauce, so I already knew that it wouldn't be that good, and I was right, i couldn't taste the peanut butter flavor that I was looking for in a Kare-Kare. But the FAMILY PLATTER was something that I enjoyed all of, I could really taste the Pork bbq and Chicken bbq in the Skewers, it brings back memories to when I was in the PHILIPPINES it's lightly salted , sweet, with a bit of spice . The Squid and muscles were good , they weren't chewy, it was easy to bite, but I couldn't eat the fish, I was expecting more of a Grilled or Marinated flavor on the fish, but the fish didn't taste or smell good, it's something hard for me to describe, I just didn't like the fish that came with the big platter My son ate most of the Bbq, but we couldn't finished it all 'coz there were still so many food so we just boxed up whatever was left . There were some good foods here, and some just okay.

Amie S.

Yelp
oh my god unbelievable i celebrate my mom bday and the price is way outrageous $3700 unbelievable and they even said tip should be 30% i did told him should be give us an option OMG be careful before you make reservation and make sure you asked for the price charge me $100 dollars per head OMG i should done in a nice hotel or steak house UNBELIVEBALE I DID CALL AND COMPLAIN ASKED AND ALL HE SAID IS OUR CONVERSATION IS DID NOT CLEAR REALLY?

Cecilyah N.

Yelp
Decent spot for family style Filipino food. The portions are just right and fairly priced. We ordered garlic rice, laing, pinakbet, tortang talong, and lechon. We placed the order for lechon not knowing that the laing and pinakbet were both topped with it (a decent amount too). We had so much lechon leftover. First world problems. Everything was seasoned perfectly and not too salty. We all fell asleep when we got home. Very much comfort food.

Kwok S.

Yelp
I would say this place is a good family style type of place. For most of the platters in the price range of under $50. It's a lot of food that can easily feed 4-6 people. Just some side note, the platters do not come with sides or rice. You'll have to order that separately. I have my experience a 3 out of 5 star was because the food was decent, but not a lot was extraordinary. It'll get you full for sure, but lacking some umami in my opinion. Out of everything I liked the Pata for sure. The dark pork knuckle meat was tender and had good deep meat flavor. The fried pork belly was a little dry. Fried pork ribs a bit oily. Fried chicken was also oily. I plastered my fried food with banana ketchup and sriracha so that meant the food didn't stand out on its own. Lumpia weren't bad as well. Halo halo I had better. The grilled squid was super sweet for my liking. I wouldn't order it again.

Rolando A.

Yelp
*The "sinigang na bangus" (white fish soup) made me have mixed feelings about this joint. The fish was not fresh and seems like they used the marinated fish which was supposed to be fried. The fish was little chewy or maybe cooked yesterday. My kids asked "what recipe was this" and by heart they know what "sinigang" is supposed to taste like. Yes we were all disappointed! *The brown rice that we ordered, $9, was also old and looks like they got it from the bottom of the pot, little burnt and dry. *The "sago at gulaman" drink obviously tasted watered down, seems like they're also forgot to add the "arnibal" sweetening syrup. *I'm lowering the rating from 4 to 3 stars because of the three issues. Their fresh lumpia and torta Eggplant was OK. But I would give their "laing" a 5 star coz it was really delicious. The waiter and service was awesome, he was very attentive and made sure that we got everything. The joint is clean, bathrooms are clean and parking was an ease. I was really disappointed that the quality of the food decreased, maybe because of the pandemic or the original cook is sick. Not to brag but I could cook better. But because I had a good experience with my first time here, I would give them a chance and come back, only if I had no choice, lol. And I'm definitely not ordering their "sinigang," "brown rice," and "sago at gulaman" I would order something else. Because it's a Filipino joint, I will still support this small business. Note: Please don't be discouraged by my review, it is only my honest opinion.

Yelp
I've been coming here since it was Magic Wok years ago. One of the best places for crispy pata, where it's crispy and yet the meat is moist, get the crispy platter. Kare Kare is always tasty with tender meat. Staff is always friendly. This is probably my favorite Filipino establishment with real Filipino dishes.

Yelp
Service was super nice. The man who helped us out was always around checking on us and refilling water. The lumpia and lechon was crispy and soft on the inside. He gave us sauce for the lechon and packed some for us when we took it togo. Everything tasted amazing and I'll definitely be back because along with amazing food was a man who loved to serve people his food. :)

Yelp
Today, June 11. Great food. Awesome service. Felt at home ambiance was present. Nesty and his co-workers were great. I got arroz caldo, goto, bulalo we're just great. Thanks Nesty and co-workers. Taste and ambiance hasn't changed since I took my friends from North Carolina. Again, thanks Nesty. They want to eat at salo-salo again.

Yelp
I ordered two plates of steam rice. The receipt says 5 steamed rice "Jasmine". Lol. What a joke. Charged me $45. Is this their one way to scam customer? They let u insert your card using the portable credit scanner, before they give u a pre receipt and final receipt.

Yelp
States that they close at 8pm yet server starts turning down customers by 7pm. Its only 7:24 pm and we are still eating and all i could hear is that they are close. When we got here we got greeted with " order now coz we are closing" and that was 6:50pm.

Yelp
We've come here several times now because the food is ok. But the service?? Sometimes the food comes out 1 plate at a time and the next would come several minutes later. We came here tonight as everyone wanted some Filipino food. We get there about 7:20pm and was hoping to be seated, only to be greeted by some rude cook or someone... saying.... 'We're closed!! An hour ago!! Can't you read the sign?!' We're like no.. Didn't see the sign ... sorry. Stepped outside to look at the door and sure enough, there's a faded out sign on the door mixed with other stuff on the door down below your knees. The hours posted on here says it closes at 8:00pm, but apparently they close at 7pm or earlier. So yeah... I guess I can understand they want to close right at 8pm and not accepting any more customers but you'd think they'd be a little more courteous about it. But don't worry.... I'll be taking my business elsewhere I don't need you talking to me and our party like that!!

Yelp
I honestly had no clue what I was getting into when I saw this place but their insta looked hella bomb lol so I took the roll of the fox e and ordered around $200 just for me to try a little bit of everythang! And wow I was surprised on how good everything came out! I would definitely come back for the food and as far as customer service it was a pick up order so can't really tell you but for what I dealt with it seemed to be fine. For sure coming back!

Yelp
So about a month ago, my sis ordered food from this restaurant to go which was meant to be picked up at 10:30am. I arrived at the store at 10 to check-in due to them being notorious for completing to go orders late. The food needed to be delivered by 11am, however this restaurant did not complete the order at agreed upon time and was 15 MINUTES late. So now I am late for my plans, the foods late, and despite speaking with the manager. They REFUSED to discount the price of the order. Tl;dr: POOR customer service, rude managers, and mid quality food. Come here at your own risk.
