Where to Find the Best Pasta in Miami | Eater Miami

"Salumeria 104, a trattoria-style gem in with two Miami locations, has been an Italian staplie in the city for more than a decade. Known for house-made pasta, highlights include spaghetti alla bottarga with a hint of spice, rich tagliatelle Bolognese, and delicate ravioli del salumiere. The rustic setting, with exposed brick and warm lighting, makes it perfect for date night, too." - Eater Staff

The Best Midtown and Edgewater Restaurants in Miami, Florida | Eater Miami

"At Salumeria 104 in Midtown, the menu is organized with a truly Italian approach: a list of antipasti dishes followed by a roster of hearty pasta entrees and protein courses. Start with a shareable charcuterie board or one of the salumi (cold cut) options such as speck, mortadella, or salame di cinghiale, then move on to the can’t-go-wrong lasagna or the gnocchi alla Romana with crispy prosciutto. Spaghetti alla bottarga is also a standout; the long pasta is brightened with a generous portion of salted, pressed, dried mullet roe. True to its name, Salumeria 104 is also a deli where customers can buy items like cold cuts, cheese, and olives by the pound." - Juliana Accioly

15 Spots to Cure Cacio e Pepe Cravings in Miami

"This Midtown spot serves its cacio e pepe tableside in a tiny, adorable wheel of cheese. The fresh pasta and a splash of its starchy water soak up the creamy, melty cheese, and then, of course, there’s tons of toasted black pepper." - Amber Love Bond

Chef Angelo Masarin’s trattoria-deli blends northern Italian comfort with Miami conviviality: boards of salumi, well-executed pastas like spaghetti alla bottarga, and daily specials. A neighborhood favorite that editors keep recommending for honest cooking and a strong Italian wine selection.

Google
Very nice and authentic Italian restaurant in Midtown Miami. Delicious food, great service and atmosphere, good wine selection and desserts. I will be back for sure. I ordered the lasagna which was delicious, my friends ordered the special of the day which was fish (Branzino) with baked potatoes, we had prosciutto and tomatoes to start off and a delicious Nebbiolo red wine 🍷 that was perfect for the meal and the temperature outside. Parking is good as well so this is a great place to go to for lunch or dinner.

From the moment we were seated, Salvatore made our afternoon exceptional. His warmth, attentiveness, and knowledge of the menu elevated our experience from great to unforgettable. The food was absolutely amazing. We started with the marinated olives and a perfectly curated cheese selection full of authentic flavors. The house-made pasta is a must; I shared the truffle pasta, and it was absolutely delicious. We ended our lunch with the trio of sweets, almond cake, tiramisu, and the chocolate with gelato . We couldn’t decide which dessert was better than the other. A big shoutout again to Salvatore!! I highly recommend this place.

Google
Went to salumeria 104 just before a concert on Kaseya. They understood perfectly my available time to eat and orchestrated a perfect dinner just in time. Dish by dish was sent out with perfect timing. Vitelo tonnato, cheese and salumeria board, carpaccio, and pasta with botarga along with perfect negronis and a super Tuscan. Dessert? Delicious chocolate melted cake Congratulations! Keep the quality like today! Thank you

Google
We went for Miami spice (lunch) and were quite disappointed. The salad was extremely basic and there wasn’t even any finesse in the way the ingredients were prepared, it felt like I was having a salad I made, in a rush, at home. The pasta and the veal were extremely bland, which is a shame because they were interesting options. Desserts were decent. Service was okay. Miami spice is a great opportunity to display the soul and craft of the restaurant to new customers. In this case we did not feel the passion and welcome of the establishment.

Google
Salumeria 104 Midtown is one of the most authentic Italian gems in Miami. Their filetto di manzo and branzino are both exceptional — perfectly prepared and full of flavor. I love that the staff is genuinely Italian, which makes the whole experience feel like a true trattoria in Italy. And the finishing touch — cantucci served with coffee — always makes me smile. Consistently wonderful food, service, and atmosphere.

Google
Superb dinner, from start to finish. This restaurant is very deceiving from the outside. It is actually quite larger than it presents. I had dinner with a friend and we both were impressed with the quality of our pastas. Very fresh, and the sauces had great flavor. The panna cotta was divine. Our waiter also made the experience pleasant by always providing everything we need and making great recommendations. Cannot wait to come back and try something else from the menu.

Google
Tonight's dinner was at Salumeria 104 - Midtown Miami! Drink: BARREL AGED NEGRONI Bombay gin, Carpano Antica, Campari App: CHARCUTERIE PLATTER Mortadella, Speck, Pecorino Toscano Entree: TAGLIATELLE BOLOGNESE House-made tagliatelle with classic Bolognese sauce First, I wanna say how nice the atmosphere and staff were! Everyone was super friendly and attentive. You could also tell that they enjoy working together. I wanted to try something completely different when it came to my drink tonight. So I got the negroni. It was sweet, bitter, and had citrus notes to it from the orange peel. The charcuterie platter made me happy. I was going to get something else, but they were out. I am not upset! The speck and mortadella were perfect. The pecorino was amazing, as it always is. The giardiniera kicked it up and helped cut all the flavors. The tagliatelle bolognase was rich, savory, and meaty. The homemade pasta held the sauce well. There is nothing better than fresh pasta. You can also get some bread, which I did. It came with olive oil and balsamic vinegar. Not pictured. You have to save a piece of bread to get the rest of the sauce out of the bowl. NO SAUCE LEFT BEHIND.

Google
David was my server and he did an amazing job! He took his time explaining the menu thoroughly and had some great suggestions. I ended up trying the chocolate lava cake for dessert—so good! I sat outside, and the vibes were really nice and relaxing. I’ll definitely be back again

Yelp
My new favorite neighborhood spot, right in the heart of Midtown. We went for their Power Lunch offering on a Tuesday afternoon and everything was delicious, the portions generous, and the price point reasonable. Food was freshly prepared at the moment too. Oh, the service is impeccable as well. We'll be back for dinner soon.

Yelp
This review is strictly for the food as I ordered for pick up vis UberEats. I've ordered here various times and the food has been consistently good. I always get the tiramisu. It is 5/5! Authentically made where it's nice, creamy and wet with the coffee liquor. When I order I always get the Tagliatelle Bolognese which is hearty and delicious. The last time I decided to get the Fettuccine Nere which is squid ink pasta with tomatoes and shrimp. That was also surprisingly delicious. This place has the best Tiramisu in Miami that is consistently delicious for sure.

Yelp
Coming back to update this bc Salumeria 104 has HANDS DOWN the best service in Miami. I have come 3 times now and had 3 different waiters and am absolutely ASTONISHED by how above and beyond they were. So much so that I left a 100% tip last night. ex: my friend and I came for the half off bottle Monday special. There are two chalkboards inside the restaurant that also list food specials, one of which was extremely difficult to read, even from less than 10 feet away. Our waiter went so far as to remove the specials board from the wall, and personally hand- bring it over so that we had less difficulty reading it. Moreover all we had was the bottle of wine and a special cheeseboard of the day, so a very small check, and he was incredibly on top of always filling our glasses and making sure we had no questions- he even explained some wines and other food items that we were uneducated about in a very non-condescending helpful way. All in all I absolutely love this place and every chance I get I cannot wait to tell everyone I know. Perfect for all events as they have two dining rooms as well as outdoor and bar seating. Cannot recommend enough.

Yelp
Love the food every time we go here. Everything always is so fresh. I gave it 4 stars mainly because the staff was very loud this time. It maybe because of the early evening time we went or because there weren't many people around but a lot of culinary experience need to align with the atmosphere as well. The gnocchi was a little too chewy almost stuck in my teeth the flavor was good but the texture wasn't exactly right. I didn't want to take points off the food though I had their cacio a Pepe, fettuccine nere, tagliatelle with black truffle before which all were so very delicious and my husband today tried their ricotta cavatelli which was very well made the tomatoes freshness reflected well with the sauce and the creaminess from the ricotta and the acidity from the tomato was very well balanced. The artichokes were so good! Very well prepared. We also enjoyed the Bianca flatbread as well. It was nice thin and crunchy/crumbly but the rosemary wasn't overpowering which we really liked and the olive oil was on point too. The waiter got thrown off of my request of giardiniera and olives on the side order without the charcuterie board which I understood the oversell mindset but it felt off putting in a way to be questioned of my choices, I simply saw the table next to us enjoy olives and wanted some and same for the giardiniera. We took the tiramisu to go and it did not disappoint, it was light, airy and quite the portion. We enjoy coming here when we're around and we will come back again.

Yelp
Awesome little place in Midtown... The food was amazing and service was as well considering how packed the place was. A lot of Italian imports and I was loving it. This place really shines in their charcuterie spreads. Got a couple of different prosciutto styles and then they even put me on to some new stuff that I now love which is a plus . The price point is relatively high but I find it fair for the quality and ambiance. There is plenty of places around there where you pay for sub par food in a nice area. This isn't one of those Nice balance for a date night Italian place or a charcuterie night with friends

Yelp
Good food, had the mussels with spaghetti on a very tasty red sauce The lentil soup was good but needed more tasty. Cheese Ravioli was good and tasty

Yelp
SALUMERIA 104 is one of our favorite restaurants for authentic Italian food. This is their first location, which has also expanded in recent years, and we have been coming here ever since they opened. By now we have tried almost everything they have in the menus, including the specials: I can't think of anything that ever disappointed me. Last weekend they were offering (among other dishes) beef tartare with quail egg, a dish that is difficult to find, and that I can highly recommend: it was really good! We noticed that their prices have remained pretty much the same, except for the charcuterie, which has increased a lot - but still is of high quality. They have a good selection of wines, but their House Wine has the best quality/value ratio. And if you want, you can buy "salumi" and cheeses by the pound to bring home. The staff is very friendly and will always remember you even if you haven't visited them in a while. The restaurant is simply but nicely decorated, and they also have outdoor seating on the sidewalk. The only negative part is the street parking, which may be difficult to find and is not free (there is, however, also a parking garage just across the street).

Yelp
Located in the heart of midtown, this place is always packed so we decided to give it a try. We were seated outside on a nice cool evening in Miami. The tables are really close to each other, which is not a problem, however, it sucks when ppl light up a cigarette while you're trying to enjoy your meal. Maybe they can be asked to step to the side to enjoy their cigarette so that others can enjoy their meal. They were out of everything we wanted so it kind of ruined the experience for us. The Bolognese was good nothing crazy, and we ordered the salmon special which was also good but nothing crazy. I think this is a great place to enjoy some wine and appetizers (if they don't run out of what you want)

Yelp
Excellent sandwiches with the best quality ingredients It's worth try, you will not be disappointed

Yelp
Viktoryia was a great server! Pasta was incredible and the burratina was very delicious. Amazing lunch!!

Yelp
Words cannot describe how good the black truffle tagliatelle pasta is! Shout out to Davide for always taking care of us. He is excellent! Salumeria is our go to spot always consistent and spot on! Very family friendly restaurant and an Italian kitchen ambiance!
google avatar

Erika V.

Yelp
I was in Salumeria with my family last month and it was amazing, as always! Our server, Fernando, introduced himself right away. He offered us some water and we decided to start with a bottle of Chianti, always refreshing! We ordered a salad, Verde Contadino, delicious and perfect to share! For entrees, I ordered the Cacio e Pepe and it was delicious! So creamy! My mom ordered the Fettuccini Nere, and wow!! The flavors were on point! And of course, the pasta cooked to perfection! My boyfriend had the Lasagna and it was a great portion serving and he said he really loved it! My dad didn't want any pasta so he ordered the Filetto di Manzo, it came with mashed potatoes and veggies, and said the meat was soft and juicy. For dessert, we ordered the Trio di Dolci and we picked: Almond Cake, a must in here! So delicious and warm!, Panna Cotta, creamy but sour, and Tiramisu, pretty good. We had a great experience and will come back!

Yelp
Such a fun place to go! Went with a group of girls and we all had delicious meals. The ambiance was super fun, the portions were a great size, and the service was impeccable. It was a great find for us in Miami and I've recommended to some friends to go as well. We will definitely be returning next time we're in town!
google avatar

Yelp
Located in the heart of midtown with ample outside seating, this place is always bustling with people so I decided it was worth to check it out and on a beautiful afternoon and sat outside. We ordered the verde contadino, it was so refreshing and perfectly fresh; as well as the Martina pinsa with honey, truffle and goat cheese- delicious, and crispy. Lastly we finished off with the gnocchi al Vitello, this pasta was SOOOOO FRESH, it basically melted in your mouth. I would totally recommend coming here and will be back soon to try more items ! Service was quick and attentive.

Yelp
I came upon suggestion from a friend and I'm still not 100% certain on my thoughts. It seems like a popular spot, majority tables outside and in the main seating area were filled and there was an energetic ambiance. The burrata app was delicious, but I was not the biggest fan of my lasagna. The texture threw me off because I typically prefer the pasta al dente and it was very soft, borderline mushy. My friend raved about this place so I would like to give it another go before my solidly my opinion.
google avatar

Vancy S.

Yelp
I've walked past the place a few times but felt the urge to finally give it a try yesterday after reviewing the menu. The hostess was very friendly and sat us near the window in 2nd part of the restaurant. The restaurant is cozy and welcoming. Our waiter was very attentive and had great suggestions they we listened to and ordered. The trio prosciutto board was a absolutely delicious! Love how thin it is to pair with bread. We added the cheese, pecorino al tartufo with a side of honey. Yummy. We also tried the house made pasta tagliatelle bolognese. The noodles were so fresh and the bolognese was perfect! Last we got the ravioli with added truffle. Love watching the truffle shavings being served on the ravioli by our server. Overall it was wonderful dinner!

Yelp
Great location for a nice time having great food. Gustavo and Boris are by far the best waiters. Food is always excellent. Atmosphere is chill and calmed. Always a safe choice for dinner.

Barbara B.

Yelp
El mejor restaurante de midtown. Excelente comida, súper ambiente y Salvatore el mejor mesonero, atento , servicial siempre atento a servirte . 100/10

Danielle E.

Yelp
How can I explain the perfection of this little gem in Midtown? The attentiveness, the relaxing ambiance, the wonderful recommendations of the servers (Boris G, thank you!), and most notably - the exquisite salami and cheeses they serve... simply marvelous. Could not have enjoyed a light lunch for 1 any more than this. It's as if I was on vacation in Italy, rather than a work trip to Miami. Thank you Salumeria, I will most certainly be back!
google avatar

Giovanni M.

Yelp
This is ITALIAN for real , no jokes, no American-Italian or fusion or something in between... you like Italian? You want to see how Italian food taste? Salumeria 104 is the place ... it's just so authentic, the atmosphere is really authentic too. Service fast , very customer oriented. Super recommended. Check their week specials... so yummy
google avatar

Nicole L.

Yelp
service is exquisite - prompt and friendly coupled with excellent recommendations from the wine to the cheese pairings makes for a 5 star experience. food came out quickly and was fresh and tasty. wine selection was absolutely fab, will be returning

Yelp
For my anniversary dinner I got a table for 2 and ordered the tagliatelle bolognese with a gnocchi Verde and a side of mash. Everything was reasonably priced, and the service was above and beyond. We even got welcomed by the management staff and saw smiles everywhere I went to ask, and I would recommend anyone this intimate spot for anniversaries and dinners or even to impress the in-laws. 10 out of 10 and will definitely go back a second time.

Ana A.

Yelp
Very pleasant atmosphere, exceptional food, but the big difference was the service....Jean Marie, with her friendliness and Italian charisma made our dinner unforgettable! We loved it and will be back soon!
google avatar

Olga L M.

Yelp
The food always have good quality. I enjoy lunch every Friday with my friends and Salvatore is always very special with us!

Yelp
My favorite REAL Italian food spot in town. Whether you're craving a lighter dish like branzino with a side of broccolini or you want to indulge in a delicious "bisteca" Salumeria ALWAYS delivers. Don't skip out on the meat and cheese boards. They're always a hit! Portions are generous but not so massive that you'll need a doggie bag. The Tiramisu is always the star of the show. Yes the place can get crowded, and there is not a full bar but it's not enough of an inconvenience for me to knock off a star. We love this place. The servers, owners, and staff have become almost family. If you're used to Olive Garden and other chain restaurants, this is NOT the spot for you but if you want to be transported the REAL Italy, - run, don't walk to Salumeria.

Clara R.

Yelp
The Giulia flatbread was good, but all the pastas we got were overcooked and the vegetables in the fettuccine alla curcuma seemed to be from a frozen vegetable bag. Don't think we'll be back again.
google avatar

Jas H.

Yelp
Went here for a mini girls night and was not disappointed. They food was excellent. Our pasta dishes tasted freshly made. The staff was friendly and very attentive, made great recommendations which we ordered. We ordered the dessert trio, we couldn't decide. My personal favorite is the tiramisu.

Ana L.

Yelp
Good food, service and ambience. The pasta dishes are my favorites. This is my third time eating at Salumeria 104 and I highly recommend it.
google avatar

Alejandra G.

Yelp
La mejor lasaña que he probado en el área de Miami, el servicio súper impecable y el ambiente súper peaceful gran lugar!

Yelp
We went at 8 pm on Wednesday night and had to wait for over 1 hr, although when we arrived we were told the wait was "15 minutes ". So, Prepare to wait if u do not hv a reservation. The outdoor seating has expanded to almost the Chase sidewalk at the corner, but the demand is still high. I live close by and I have come to this place many times, but I think things have changed during the last year. The Burrata was super hard. We didn't send it back because we were so hungry and had waited quite a while for the appetizer. We all decided to have the Tagliolini Neri, which is house made with shrimp, and tomato paste. It was hot and tasteful. P.s.: there is $1/pp charge for water and there is street parking. Also, there is a garage close by.
google avatar

Diego F.

Yelp
Little beautiful gem in the heart of Midtown. Cozy, great interiors lights and two different areas. Menu is authentic Italian. We had. A tagliere with prosciutto crudo di Parma, porchetta e pancetta... very fresh and just sliced.. best way to enjoy all the flavors. We also add a fresh buttata with dried tomatoes... delicious. Main course I opted for fresh tagliatelle bolognese. The pasta was fresh and perfectly cooked. The sauce was with a. Great flavor... service was also great. Our server was always present, nice and super good vibes. Great job. I'll be back soon to try dinner.

Yelp
Service was good. Food was not good and we all got sick after coming here. Got the pork belly, veil pasta and the summer pasta with truffle(which is 1000% Not worth the ridiculous price) wouldn't recommend

Lucia O.

Yelp
Food was amazing, and the service 5 stars for sure. Joan and Victoria were extremely kind and has the best suggestions. Definitely coming back

Charles C.

Yelp
This place is such a gem amongst all of the Miami foodie noise!! By far some of the most authentic, fresh, Italian cuisine with the most amazing flavors. A VERY special thank you to Victoria for the above and beyond service and hospitality. Can't wait to share with all of my friends!!
google avatar

Mauricio B.

Yelp
Very disappointing experience. I had read great reviews about the food at this place and was really looking forward to trying their pastas, but I had also read some negative reviews about customer service, and unfortunately, that's what I got. I did not get to try the food because we left due to the very under par service we experienced. The hostess that greeted us was very personable and attentive, but that was the end of good service. It took a very long time for our waiter to come to greet us and take our drinks order, and then the drink I got was not what I requested, but nobody could fix the problem and our waiter would not come over to take care of this either. We got tired of waiting and got up and left. The restaurant was not even busy at this time, so no reason for service to be this slow and careless. Some reviews say the food is good in this place, but service and overall vibe are completely off.
google avatar

Lisandra C.

Yelp
I love coming to Salumeria. Their food is always amazing. Each time I go I always order their parmigiano with the prosciutto di parma as well as their meatballs. Im not a fan of meatballs but when it comes to the ones here, I must say they are amazing. To drink I always ask the server for them To recommend me a good wine and all of the ones a have tried , i have loved them. O and their tiramisu is just wow

Linda E.

Yelp
Boris G was great! We have been coming to 104 Salumeria since they opened and from an Italian I can tell you their food is authentic, healthy and just amazing! Boris was great
google avatar

Natalie S.

Yelp
Such a cute spot with delicious food! Our waiter Gus was terrific and attentive. I took off one star only because the tables are super close to one another, and there is hardly any room and no full bar, only wine and beer.
google avatar

Victor C.

Yelp
It Is Delicious! Service is Good Ambience perfect. Black Truffle Pasta Meatballs
google avatar

Claire H.

Yelp
Delicious pastas. Excellent service. One of my favourite Italian restaurants. My ink pasta with shrimp was delicious. The tagliatelle bolognese pasta was SO good!! Fresh Parmesan was a great added touch. I definitely recommend it and will go back.

Giselle B.

Yelp
Horrible food, never in my life have I needed to add salt into pasta... No taste... Very disappointing. Bread was hard as teeth. Service? We had to look for waiter every time. Never asked us if the food was good, or if we would like more water... I would not recommend this restaurant, not even to an enemy.

Sandy K.

Yelp
Had dinner last Monday night food was excellent and the waiter was one of the best I have ever had. Monday is half price wine and the wine prices are reasonable to begin with. Definitely will return I highly recommend this establishment
google avatar

Kalvin K.

Yelp
Somehow keep coming to this line of Italian restaurants even though it's always been very mediocre to me. Their meat board was very good but that's about the only highlight of the dinner. I had the lamb chops and I believe they were around $30 or so. For the price I paid, I thought I'd get a lot more lamb. The service was slow and inefficient. The reason why they got more stars is because the desserts here are excellent. The pana cotta is excellent and worthwhile. Visit here only for dessert.
google avatar

Melissa P.

Yelp
Unbelievably unremarkable, everything I ordered, it's like the kitchen ran out of salt...and garlic! I had the lasagna, gnocchi, and broccolini delivered. I took two bites of everything and chucked it back in the bag, it's not worth the calories. I realize this may sound disgruntled, but I'm just shocked. The menu sounds wonderful, good reviews and pictures, and the presentation was as expected. I really hate to say it, but I've had better Italian food at a chain restaurant. Pretty shameful.

Johnathan M.

Yelp
When I tell you our server was AMAZING! He sure was. When you come here.... Ask for Palo (the Argentinan) his service was so attentive and he made the atmosphere so welcoming. The food was so filling and tasteful. Will come here again. Sad me being a local, I never been here. Maybe because it's in Midtown but this is a hidden gem. Thank you Palo
google avatar

Vanessa S.

Yelp
We had the pasta bologna and it was good. The problem here is the service. To place an order was a mission... you can imagine how was the situation when I wanted to pay. And the restaurant was empty.
google avatar

Dayana C.

Yelp
One of my all time favs! I love coming to Salumeria when I am craving authentic Italian but want an elevated experience. I typically always start with my favorites: Burratina with Prosciutto Di Parma and the delicious Gnocco Frito! It is basically fried dough, LOL - so good dipped in some olive oil + balsamic. Wrap the prosciutto around it for a holy experience!!! My favorite dish is the Tagliolini with Zucchini, Shrimp and Cherry Tomatoes in a Lobster Bisque Sauce. This sauce is liquid gold! So good and light. This is my go to dish. I most recently tried the Ravioli Del Salumiere which is a House-made Prosciutto Ravioli with Brown Butter and Sage sauce - the ravioli and sauce it self were delicious but I added the Summer Truffle which turned out to over power the dish. I would not add it again. They also have deli counter and a market within the restaurant where you can purchase their cheeses + meats, pastas, olive oil, etc. Always a great experience here as the waiters are friendly and attentive. It's truly an outstanding experience every time.

Bart W.

Yelp
Outstanding! Food matched by the service. Wonderful pastas and good proteins selection including the charcuterie . Very similar - in a good way- to the Salumeria Rosi on the UWS in NYC. A great local choice.

Cira V.

Yelp
Excellent I had ravioli with truffle it was superb and the owner or manager spoke Italian to me it was awesome

Naomi S.

Yelp
Popped in to Salumeria for a glass of wine before grabbing dinner at a different restaurant where we had a reservation. We discovered it was truffle week and couldn't pass up some bites of truffle even though we'd only intended to drink. We ordered a platter of truffled cheese and prosciutto which came with a generous portion and side of delicious honey. The wine list was solid; we both enjoyed our reds. Service was fast and super friendly. I'd definitely go back for dinner to try their main dishes-- the squid ink pasta looked very tempting!
