The walls are decorated with prints of bands, goth culture, ironic velvet paintings, and comic-style art, and the adjoining art gallery hosts numerous community events. Above all, though, Gold is a great spot to get a cup of coffee. The shop uses a rotating selection of beans (when new options come in, it posts to Instagram) and has a long menu of specialty drinks. Visited this coffee shop for the first time and we really enjoyed it! Definitely one of the best in the city. We had the hot cakes latte and banana nut bread. It was soo delicious we went back for a second coffee, to go. We ordered the Samoan latte and again soo smooth and delicious! The coffee was so rich and bold in flavor. We also loved the atmosphere and aesthetics of the shop.

Coffee Shop No. 515 Gold San Antonio San Antonio, TX June 12, 2025 This coffee shop came recommended by two other shop owners, so I had to check it out. It’s tucked inside FREIGHT Event Venue, which also houses a barber shop, a tattoo studio, and an art gallery—all watched over by a friendly gentleman at the front counter. Gold serves up delicious cortados with the help of their super-friendly baristas. The space is big and versatile, with plenty of seating whether you’re catching up with friends, working on a project, or just hanging out solo. Enjoying life one cortado at a time!

San Antonio Gold is an excellent coffee shop in Southtown SATX!! :-) The atmosphere inside of this space is excellent (it’s comfortable & decorated in a really cool way), and the staff are so kind + helpful! They make a great Cinnamon Coffee Cake, and their Hotcake flavoring is SO good added in an iced or hot latte with oat milk. For their seasonal offerings, I recently tried their X French Tee Shirt for Summer 2025, and it was SO delicious!! I highly recommend this spot!!!

I recently visited San Antonio Gold for the first time and it easily became one of my favorite coffee shops! From the moment you walk in, you feel genuinely welcomed by the baristas, they are warm, upbeat, and make you feel right at home. The space is gorgeous: artistic, stylish, and tastefully decorated, with plenty of comfortable seating and easy parking (a rare find downtown!). The coffee is absolutely delicious ☕️💕 I love that they stay open until 5 PM, which is perfect for getting work done or just relaxing without feeling rushed. Everything about this place—from the elegant setup to the laid-back vibe—makes it easy to settle in and stay awhile. I love it here ✨️

The coffee was disappointing. It had a bad taste and very light aromatics, which is surprising considering their use high-quality specialty beans. I wonder if it’s due to the preparation, the barista’s skill, or the milk or water quality. On the positive side, they make great latte art, and the place itself is quite nice.

Super cool coffee shop. Staff is friendly and helps you to have a better experience. I wanted my usual double espresso and they said they had their usual roast and a new roast in for a limited time. I got the new thing and it was so good I drank before I took a pic. Nice and clean, not loud, lots of parking around the back. Cool decor.
