"Gold opened inside the Freight Gallery in the Lone Star District in 2019, and coffee lovers deeply appreciate its laid-back atmosphere. The walls are decorated with prints of bands, goth culture, ironic velvet paintings, and comic-style art, and the adjoining art gallery hosts numerous community events. Above all, though, Gold is a great spot to get a cup of coffee. The shop uses a rotating selection of beans (when new options come in, it posts to Instagram) and has a long menu of specialty drinks.
