It finally happened. I made it to Miami and a cubano was at the top of my list. Ever since watching Chef, I've been chasing that perfect cabano moment lol. I wanted the crunch, the melt, the savory, all of it.

- El Cubano: THIS IS IT. I've had Cubanos before, but nothing that even remotely approached the real deal like this one. The bread was perfectly pressed and crisp, the pork juicy, ham flavorful, cheese melty, and the pickles + mustard combo added that sharp zing to bring it all home. Hands down one of the top 5 sandwiches I've ever eaten. I'm still thinking about it.
- Boniato Fries: Sweet potato fries were crispy, lightly salted, and with their sauces these fries are sooooo good.
- Croquettas: Crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and still light enough that you could pop a few.

Super fairly priced for the quality you're getting. Seriously good flavor.
Would 100% recommend, ESPECIALLY if you've never had a Cubano and want your first one to be unforgettable.
