Sanguich Little Havana - Review - Little Haiti - Miami - The Infatuation

"Sanguich has an office and commissary kitchen in Little Haiti that they also use as a takeout ventanita. And while it’s nice to have a Sanguich on this side of the city, this isn’t the one you should be prioritizing for your first Sanguich experience (go to the original in Little Havana or the one in Coral Gables). The sandwiches can be a bit inconsistent here—one day your cubano is pressed to a shiny crisp, another day they might forget to brush it with lard before shoving it in the planchita. But even Sanguich on an off-day is better than a solid majority of the cubano and pan con bistec options around town. So keep it in mind for random sandwich cravings or whenever you want to skip the crowds at the other locations." - Ryan Pfeffer

Google
4.6 / 5 is fair. Take out only at this location. Cute building and friendly ladies. Made from scratch. I got: 1 cappuccino / leche - very nice and smooth. 1 size. Would order again 1 Cuban Sandwich - good, one side is butter/oil basted and the other side is dry. Thinly sliced pork shoulder / butt and almost prosciutto style jamon (ham), also razor thin. It pairs well together. I brought hot peppers and added myself for some heat. Comes with pickles (thin) and swiss cheese. 1 Miami Sandwich - same as above except with thinly sliced turkey, lettuce, tomato and bacon. Also added chili flakes on this for some heat. I can’t tell which I like better, but lean towards the Cuban since there is no lettuce to wilt. I only ate half of each. Also they sell 4 different bottles of hot sauce for $7. Great souvenir or take home. Got the Havana Green.

The sandwich hit the spot and so did the coffee. I was impressed and must say it’s all very clean and well executed. I would recommend giving it a try and I would most definitely go back to try some more.

This location is available only for delivery or take-out. Great if you want to pick up something on the way back from a trip. I ordered the Cubano and Pan de Bistec. The bread is perfectly toasted, like a thin crispy shell. The Cubano's ham and pork is nicely balanced by the mustard and pickles. The pan de bistec has soft with small crunchy bits throughout. Definitely recommend adding mojo, I really enjoyed the garlic and Verde. Would definitely come back again!

This specific location in little Haiti is just a factory where you can get food to go but mostly for Uber and door dash drivers. But I got the famous pan con bistec. And their shtick is that it’s Cuban food but a level up. The beef was definitely not your normal thin sliced steak you’d get in a pan con bistec but more like high quality deli meat. The bread was fresh and delicious I think they use a Gouda cheese which was different and some type of aioli sauce. The croquettes looked and smelled delicious as did the hot chicharrones. To summarize the food was very good but it didn’t taste like a typical pan con bistec. If you’re looking for authenticity this might not be your cup of tea. But if you’re looking for like a Cuban American fusion that emphasizes quality over authenticity then this is your spot.

This is the Cuban sandwich I’ve been waiting on. It was delicious. So much so I had to turn back around and order another one to go. It’s a pick up window (no customers inside). It was fast and there are a few parking spots near the side of the window. You can also order online.

Google
Hands down the best Cuban sandwich I've ever had! Nice and super fast service. They have some kind of banana fries than I wasn't sure bout so my wife and I decided to share them. Big mistake! When they were gone , we both said we should have got our on. lol They sauce that came with the fries is phenomenal! Wish we could go back tomorrow but we're heading home to GA. We saw it on TikTok and just had to have it, and it was worth it!

Google
It was delicious!! The quality of the Croqueta Preparada sandwich was unreal, unlike anything I’ve had before. I also tried the Pan Con Lechon sandwich and it was so good!! Also, the Coladita Batido was perfect, not too sweet or overwhelming. Definitely going back!

Google
The BEST cuban I’ve had in my entire life! It is 100% worth the hype. We went to the Little Haiti location which was super sketchy and I don’t recommend going at night. We felt like we might get mugged. It’s a takeout window only. Lots of homeless, random people walking around, bars on windows, just bad neighborhood, etc. (1 star for atmosphere, 5 stars for food). BUT THE SANDWICHES WERE SO GOOD. We also got the turkey sandwich which was heavenly. Fries were fresh & savory. Everything was incredible. Sanguich is an absolutely must if you are in Miami!

Yelp
These sanguiches are loaded with flavor. The media noche is balanced really well with the sweet bread and saltiness from the ham , savoriness from the cheese and pop of vinegar from the pickles. The mojo flavor from the pork tops it off to complete the sanguich. The Bistec is finely shredded beef braised in a roja sauce that's light but adds more depth to the shoestring potatoes. Sanguich is a must try in Miami!

Yelp
This is a cute little restaurant and we are so happy We stumbled upon it. First. You order from A window, from a straightforward menu. We all Ordered Cuban sandwiches. The sandwiches tasted amazing and fresh.. the sandwiches hare big enough to share, but big enough for one person depending on how hungry you are. Overall great experience. I look forward to trying other items in their menu

Yelp
The pan con bistec is not actually steak. It's roast beef!! Super disappointing. This is not what I came here for. Not sure if this is how they always do it but I won't be coming back.

Yelp
Oh my god. This was so good. We had seen them recommended on a few TikTok's for great Cubans. This is an order and go establishment, no sit down option. The menu is small, but it is all you need . The service is quick and polite. The food came fast. And it was delicious. If you do t order anything else get the sweet potato fries . You can tell they are handmade and delicious . It was so good , that we had to pull over and eat.

Yelp
I tried to go to the OG Sanguich in Miami, but parking is always tight, and they were doing some road construction too. Instead of driving around trying to find a spot, I just plugged this location into the GPS and headed up this way. Good choice! I went with the Croqueta Preparada. Cuban sandwich with 2 croquettes stuffed inside. This spot is only a window. Nowhere to sit, its 100% to go. I got my sandwich and went back to my car and dug in. GOD DAMN this is a tasty sandwich! Just as good as I had remembered. That lard toasted Cuban bread, stuffed with all the goodies like ham, pickles, swiss, mustard and those croquettes. Delicious! The perfect blend of flavors and textures. I have different "God Tier" food items, and as far as the Cuban Sandwich, Sanguich is God Tier. Nothing else can come close to being as good of a Cuban Sandwich, as what Sanguich consistently puts out. Must stop if you are in the Miami area!

Yelp
It finally happened. I made it to Miami and a cubano was at the top of my list. Ever since watching Chef, I've been chasing that perfect cabano moment lol. I wanted the crunch, the melt, the savory, all of it. - Food - - El Cubano: THIS IS IT. I've had Cubanos before, but nothing that even remotely approached the real deal like this one. The bread was perfectly pressed and crisp, the pork juicy, ham flavorful, cheese melty, and the pickles + mustard combo added that sharp zing to bring it all home. Hands down one of the top 5 sandwiches I've ever eaten. I'm still thinking about it. - Boniato Fries: Sweet potato fries were crispy, lightly salted, and with their sauces these fries are sooooo good. - Croquettas: Crunchy on the outside, creamy on the inside, and still light enough that you could pop a few. - Value - Super fairly priced for the quality you're getting. Seriously good flavor. Would 100% recommend, ESPECIALLY if you've never had a Cubano and want your first one to be unforgettable.

Yelp
This was such a cute spot. Honestly I had never been to a spot like this with no seats, you order at the window and wait. I'm not from Miami so it was a very different setting. I almost left because it looked kind of odd, but I'm so glad I stayed. The food was great! The outside was simple but the inside looked so fancy and clean. Brought it back to my hotel and was very pleased!

Yelp
You can miss this place if you're not paying attention. Nestled in Little Haiti neighborhood along the busy NE 2nd ave, is the location of this place. It sit alongside another business within the building, only have order window, no seats so take out only. I'm a fan of their steak sandwich along with the famous jamon croquettes with the sauce. The food is made it order and fresh. Ambiance is again "takeout" with a hint of the other locations decor. If in the area try it out

Yelp
stopped by before heading out to the airport. wasn't hungry but my bf insisted we stop by this place. took one bite, regretted on not buying one but we were on a time crunch and it already takes about 15 - 20 minutes. busy ambiance, attentive service. well worth the wait though, would definitely recommend.

Yelp
If you want the best Cuban sandwiches in the 305 come to Sanguich . They have 3 locations throughout Miami and they are the best place to grab a sandwich at.

Yelp
I had been to the original location, so I was excited to to see there was one close to my job. Loved the little ventanita set up that they had as this location seemingly does not have a dine in area. I had a steak sandwich, which was outstanding as were the plantain and chips fried pork runs. If you go try the coffee shake, which was also really delicious. Overall, fantastic culinary experience!

Yelp
As far as I can tell , this atmosphere-free utilitarian takeout/delivery only offers virtually the same awesome Cuban Sanguich as the charming and renowned flagship on Calle Ocho. Almost invisible on the semi-industrial strip of 2nd ave, it is a no frills treat and one of the best sandwiches in town..and just upgraded to 5 stars as they delivered this beauty all the way to Bay Harbor Island's via Uber eats...after I had already written this review......

Yelp
What on earth...this is one of the worst sandwiches I have ever had. I ordered the pan con bistec and it tastes nothing like it should. It's dry and filled with stringy roast beef with a red sauce. If you're looking for Cuban food, this is not the place to go I'm sad to say.
