"Sant Ambroeus, named after Milan’s patron saint, debuted in Milan in 1936 and expanded to New York City in 1982. Since its 2016 opening in Palm Beach’s Royal Poinciana Plaza, the restaurant has attracted New Yorkers with its sleek, contemporary Italian-designed interiors, offering a stylish dining experience. While the prices are on the higher side, the quality justifies a special meal out. A standout is the hot chocolate, where melted chocolate and warm milk are served separately, allowing diners to craft their drink." - J. Miller

It’s not often that you get what you pay for, but St Ambrose offers that. The atmosphere is wonderful. I feel as if I’m on the Italian Riviera as I sip my fabulous coffee and nibble on a delicious apricot croissant 🥐. My coffee and croissant cost around $14, which is great value. Dinner can cost between $36-$70 a meal. The staff are so helpful and friendly. I’m never disappointed here. They also have locations in Manhattan

After dinner at Buccan, our friends suggested we head over to Sant Ambroeus for dessert and a change of scenery. We figured why not… and wow, this place did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was on point… super charming, elegant, and just had that rich, old-school Palm Beach feel. Even the wallpaper was branded… everything felt thought out and classy. We made our way to the dessert counter, and I asked the guy behind the bar what the best one was. He recommended the Gianduia, which is basically a hazelnut Nutella-type dessert and let me tell you, it was unreal. One of the best desserts we’ve ever had. No joke. Yeah, it was $19… but honestly, I’d go back just for that. Totally worth it. If you’re in the Palm Beach area and want a killer dessert spot with a great vibe, this is it.

An elegant warm interior welcomes you to an impeccable dining experience. We were celebrating a special occasion and had reservations. From the first moment of stepping in they acknowledged the event and showed interest. The GM also took time to stop by and check in. Often times when we make reservations and write a note about the occasion it goes unnoticed so this was a delightful surprise and a pro move. Dining room booths are comfortable offer privacy but you can see the whole room. I recommend going around 8pm as it gets lively starting then. Service was top notch and we are still talking about the food. Only small thing that was a miss was the main course was served while my companion was not at the table. However the lemon caper sauce that arrived alongside the grilled fish was divine, we almost did shots of it. The wine menu is extensive and we got to choose some wines we have never tried before - made the experience even more memorable. We will be going back. Go, eat, drink and be merry!

A very classy Italian spot with a few beautiful locations. The Palm Beach one is perfect for a special occasion or date night under the stars in the Poinciana Plaza. We typically order the specials of the night, as there are always a wide variety of different tasty dishes to share, but you can’t go wrong with most of the menu. We never leave without ordering the Tartufa Pizza and truffle creamed corn. We also adore their bakery selection including the Princess cake as well as their Hazelnut & Chocolate. Definitely worth trying at least once! An experience I always look forward to.

The fruit tart was one of the most delicious tarts I have had. Fresh berries, delicious cream, and a perfect crisp and flaky crust. I want to eat these everyday for breakfast!

I have been there a couple of times and every single dish tasted uniquely great. The drinks and juices are very tasty as well. The service is excellent and the ambiance is relaxing and friendly. A great place for a weekend brunch in Palm Beach.

Pulled up for Sunday brunch, and while the food was amazing, the service was straight-up chaos. My sister called that morning and snagged us a cute table, so far, so good. But our waiter? Yikes. Asked what was in a chicken dish, and he hit us with, “Uh… chicken.” Groundbreaking. Then came dessert. He asked if we wanted any, disappeared for 10 minutes, finally brought menus, took our order… and dipped. Twenty-five minutes later, another server casually let us know he went on break. The food? Fire. The service? A fever dream. If you’re rolling through, come for the eats, but don’t expect the staff to have their lives together.

This Italian spot is pure elegance, and the Palm Beach location in Poinciana Plaza is just perfect for a romantic night or special celebration. We usually go for the nightly specials since there’s always something fresh and delicious to share, but honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The Tartufa Pizza and truffle creamed corn are absolute must-haves. And don’t skip the bakery, especially the Princess cake and Hazelnut & Chocolate treats. It’s the kind of experience you’ll want to come back to again and again!
