The man outside at the door was excellent and pleasant when greeting us. He took great care to get us inside and comfortable. The decor is fun and has many places for great photos. The menu is good and has many great holiday themed drinks and food. Drinks were excellent and food was good. We were sat at the bar and the bartender seemed to not care too much about how well we were served and cared for. Just going through the routine. Reading other reviews it seems that poor service is a usual experience and the response is that they will use the feedback to improve.

I recently brought my 9-year-old to this establishment and we had an amazing experience. The seating was fast, the host was cheerful, the service was great, and our food arrived within 15 minutes of ordering. The pretzel was huge and delicious. I ordered the 3-patty burger, which was excellent, and my daughter loved her nachos. She also enjoyed the Mrs. Claus shake, which she said was the best she's ever had. After our meal, we took a walk around to take some photos, and our server, Tatiana, did a great job. Additionally, a server named Kaleb helped us take some wonderful photos together, which was a lovely touch.

It gets real hectic at night Everyone had good vibes, from the workers down to the people walking around snapping pics. If you want the cutest holiday pics,a cocktail along with a decent festive meal, this is where you need to be. The Hispanic bartender AL (has tats on his hands) hooked up my Mrs. Claus drink. I simply showed him how I wanted my drink to come with a peppermint. He went out of his way and made a whole peppermint rim for my drink. That was grade A great customer service which prompted me to write this review lol The drink was on the strong side but still tasted the hints of cranberry and it wad pretty delicious. We passed on the chicken tenders & sliders as they were not appeasing to the eyes but we were next to a couple who ordered pizza and it looked pretty good. We ordered their wings and it was filling and flavorful. Their portions are pretty good. Fries decent. Would definitely come back next year to try their larger sized drinks

They are strict on their reservations. Charged an additional 4% tax on the bill. Dined in on a slow Friday afternoon to celebrate my b-day and received a lovely birthday card! Food came out super fast and was very good. Loved the soft giant pretzel and pizza, they were my favorite! the holiday sliders were super cute. Don’t get the regular hot chocolate, not worth the $13!! Our waiter was a bit depressing, seemed unhappy to be there but others seemed to be kore lively and happier. By far, the best Christmas atmosphere one could ever enjoy at/in a bar! I highly recommend!

This was such a cute bar experience! I love that they have multi-levels of decorations/photo ops and themes which is perfect for including children. Kudos to our waitress, Tori! She and the greeter were both accommodating, attentive, and absolute dolls! We will definitely be back.

Despite the one star reviews all over this place, we had a great time. Yeah, it's kind of expensive, kind of slow, but what do you expect for this kind of thing? We were kind and patient with the staff, and they were kind and attentive for us. Drinks were decent to good, food was fine. I don't feel like we were cheated or ripped off, but I also read the menu and knew what to expect. Look, I'm not going to be coming out here for dinner and drinks every night, but once or twice every December? Sure. I can think of much worse ways to spend $100 in Chicago. Maybe we got lucky, but I'd recommend this spot if you don't mind investing in a night out. I didn't catch our server's name (she was busy as hell) but she was super nice and cheerful. Biggest complaint for me is the Times Square style photographers snapping photos of you spontaneously and then showing up with (i assume overpriced) framed prints to buy. That cheapened the whole affair for me.

If you guys are thinking of coming here please do! I recommend getting an uber first the parking could be a challenge since it’s a busy street with many bars and secondly the drinks there are a hit! The place is really festive well decorated. If you’re planning to eat make sure to do a reservation they do have a time limit 1hr/30mins total but afterwards you can go upstairs to the bar or the rooftop. The food came quick wasn’t blend and their drinks are a must try. Keep in mind 20% gratuity is included! Overall will come back next year!

Food portion are bigger than I thought. We ended up with a lot of left over. Food were delicious. The shake with a little too sweet for us. Service was good.

The only best thing about this experience was our waiter, Khalil. After telling him our disappointing experience with our first host, Priscilla he was very kind. Other than the attitudes the scenery was wonderful and the hot cocoa is very chocolaty and rich. And the grinch milkshake

Holy Christmas! This place literally vomits Christmas in every corner. It is over the top, but amazing. Visiting from California, I was hoping to find some places that embodied the Christmas spirit .. Nothing can compare to Santa baby. The drinks are delicious but $$ . They have to pay for the decor I get it!

This place is worth visiting for the decor alone! It's pretty incredible how much they're able to pack in, and there are plenty of places for photos. My parents were visiting from out of town and they love Christmas decorations, so I took them here. We went around 4pm on a Friday and the place was already pretty full. There were no tables open so we walked around for a bit exploring all the different areas, which was fine because there was plenty to see. We hung around for about 30 minutes before a table opened up. We only had drinks so I can't comment on the food - the drinks were good, but a bit overpriced for what they were.

One of the most decked out holiday bars in Chicago! The ambiance is incredible - with Christmas decorations throughout every inch of the place from floor 1 to floor 3. They have fun holiday cocktails and bar food. Definitely get a reservation or ticket through bucketlisters!

If you live in Chicago or visiting the area, starting in November this place becomes a winter wonderland. The drinks were great and enjoyed our service. You will Love the inside if you are a Christmas fanatic.

If you're looking for a bar to take cute Christmas photos and enjoy some food and drinks, this is the place. It felt like Christmas came and threw up here, there was literally holiday decor everywhereeeee. They even had these cute Santas hanging from the ceiling. We had a few of the drink specials, they were very fruity and sweet didn't really taste the alcohol in them. Menu items were kind of pricey, but the guests said the pizza and wings were good. I would recommend going a little bit before 9pm to enjoy the Santa baby specials because at 10pmit's 21+ and the DJ arrives.

one of the coolest pop up christmas bars in the area. every inch of the location from inside to outside is covered in christmas decor. so many photo op's available. we were greeted as soon as we walked in , and shown to our seats . there's so many christmas drinks offered , and they all come in small , large , and pitcher options . the food was really great as well , but there aren't too many options to choose from . there is a time limit on tables of 2 hours , which can be frustrating if you have a large party . it also means you should arrive early if you want to explore the decor and/or take photos . overall a cool experience to check out if you're in the area

It was very very cute and decorated so beautifully! Bathrooms are downstairs We ordered drinks.: the holiday drinks I got the grinch I honestly think 17 dollars seem normal for a drink it was just a little weak with way too much ice .. I was slight disappointed the food however was fresh the wings were really good !! The sweet potatoe fries. Yum! The chicken tenders were also fresh and good ! Absolutely beautiful decoration !!!

Couldn't get enough of Christmas! Had to enjoy the New Year. Atmosphere... You can't beat it. It was just WONDERFUL! Three floors of Christmas galore. Something for everyone. Food & service was good. Make sure to see this for the coming holidays! We will be back

It was so loud that I didn't hear our servers name, but she was awesome. I had parmesan truffle fries and mini corn dogs, both were tasty and fresh. The spiked hot cocoa, and the reindeer games cocktail were good as well. The decor was very festive and everyone seemed to be having a great time. I'd recommend going at least once, just to say you've gone.

Christmas in the city just hits different. Santa Baby Bar is a great pop up with all the Christmas feels and vibes. I highly recommend making a reservation because it gets packed. From the moment you walk up to the bar, the entire outside is decorated with nutcrackers, Santa, lights, and all the wonderful things that remind you of Christmas. It's photo op heaven! While we waited for our table we explored the bar and took a ton of photos, they also have a cute rooftop with decorations. Every room has different themes/decorations, we got the grinch themed booth which was super cute. For drinks we ordered the "Merry Mojito", "Jingle Juice" and the "Red Nose Rudolph" All the drinks were good but a bit on the sweet side, expected when they are so cute. We also got some hot cocoas - which they do offer boozy ones if you want to spice it up a bit. For food we got the Giant Pretzel which was so delicious, the pupu platter which was definitely my favorite, it came with crab rangoons, shrimp egg rolls, hawaiian bbq ribs, coconut shrimp, veggie pot stickers, chicken teriyaki skewers, and waguy teriyaki skewers! A must try. We also ordered a pizza, sliders, and wings. Service and food were good and ambiance was fantastic. We took an Uber so not too sure how parking around the area is. Can't wait to go back next year!

This review is late but still very much needed. I loved my experience at Santa Baby Bar. I highly recommend making a reservation before you visit so you can guarantee a seat because the bar gets very busy. I visited on a Friday during happy hour time and it was busy so I can only imagine during the weekend. I ordered a smash burger with a small drink from the shareable menu. The burger was priced similarly to how they price their food during the rest of the year. I was able to easily get two meals out of my order. The food was mid but you do not visit Santa Baby Bar for the food. The decorations and drinks are the main attraction. I will say the shareable drinks are priced out of this world. You know they are priced high because it is the only thing on the menu without a price listed. Like they say, if you have to ask you cannot afford it! The shareable medium drink was between $30 to $50 dollars (closer to the higher end). I cannot remember the price accurately because even though it is pricey it is very effective. I would easily get another drink because the drinks are very festive and make the visit a lot of fun. The decorations are everything you imagine someone that hoards Christmas decorations and finally decided to put hang everything at once. There are nonstop photo opportunities throughout the bar. This is definitely the place to dress up and go with a group of friends or a cute date night.

The service was poor. My friend got sick from the Caesar salad with chicken. We stepped away from our table and they threw out our cocktails. We will not return to Santa Baby. The decorations were very nice.

Slow and incompetent service. Tables not adequately cleaned between parties. Ordered a "draft" beer. Received a lukewarm can.

Third time visiting Santa baby bar. Not sure if it's just over done or I expected something more but this year fell short. The food was not good. The nachos were very very soggy like they were premade and sat out for a while. The chips could even hold a piece of chicken cause they were that soggy. The wings were okay, they changed the wings to a sweet sauce, past two years it was buffalo wings. The sweet sauce was okay, but another premade dish because they were very cold when they came to us. Which is weird because the wings and nachos came out within 20mins after we ordered and you'd think the wings would be hot, if not very warm. Sliders were pretty good. Decorations. The rooftop was nice, a lot better than last year! But the 2nd floor was all bar/party room. Last year there were little worlds on the 2nd floor like whoville and the grinch and the clauses. Now it's just the clauses section and twinkly tunnel. Kinda underwhelming. At least there wasn't an additional charge for the photo op like last year.

The rating is for the overall experience. The atmosphere would have receive 5 stars. It was very festive. I went with a large group and we had dinner and drinks and then stayed to take pics and enjoy the bar. There were tons of areas in the bar to take pics, but I do not want to include people without their permission (we took a lot of photos). The food was a little below average for bar food. I think we ordered pretty much everything on the menu from appetizers to a couple of main courses to share. The festive drinks were pleasantly made, but the taste didn't match. A few of us actually had to order shots of the liquor that was included in our drinks; as they were watered down and overly sweet. I really wanted to love this place; especially after walking into such a decorative place. Overall, It was a great experience, but I think we will pass next year.

Be Careful! The bartender asked if I wanted a small, medium, or large. I asked the sizes and she stared at me so I said medium. It's a nice 'in between' size. The drink was huge and the price was $50 before tip. She ran my card without telling me the cost.

Overrated. Food is okay and there's a limited menu. Service is slow and they limit the table to only 90 mins.

My friend and I stopped by Santa Baby Bar after seeing a movie at the Alamo Drafthouse right nearby. We came in around 9pm on a Thursday night and we were able to find seating right away. The inside was decorated so extravagantly and great for Christmas vibes and taking pictures. I got the Spiked Peppermint Hot Cocoa which was super good. The alcohol in it was a little overwhelming but a a really nice holiday drink overall. I would recommend getting there early to find a seat as it can get pretty chaotic. They also serve tropical drinks and have a food menu as well!

This is my second time attending this place but the service has definitely went down in the last year. When I arrived they sent me back and forth twice at the door to check in. We then asked could we sit at a table, the host told us no because they had reservations. We went upstairs to have drinks and came down an hour later and there were several open tables. The ambiance was cool but I don't know what is going on with the service. They need to improve. I will not be returning.

The ambiance was great, the food was meh. Watch out for the 4% Restaurant surcharge that they automatically add to your bill. It says you don't have to pay it, but when you try to call, nobody picks up, their voicemail box does not accept any messages and the website does not provide an email address. BEWARE of this BS surcharge. The food and drinks were pricey already and they found another reason to add a surcharge, hoping that nobody notices and disputes it.

The staff sat us extremely fast with our reservation. We went only for drinks, which were good, but the food going by looked delicious as well. The ambiance of Christmas was everywhere. Such a baleautful set up.

Ho Ho Ho you need to Go Go Go! Santa baby bar in wrigley was honestly so much fun! We first went upstairs and did the entire photo experience, and there were many places to take photos, it was like a maze! Afterwards we sat downstairs and had some drinks, peppermint spiked hot cocoa and a Jack Frost cocktail, paired with a GIANT PRETZEL ! Such a fun experience and they're open for one more week! The service was so sweet and fast!

A fun experience to get in the holiday mood! My friends and I took our other friend out for her birthday here, and we had a lot of cute photo opps. We bought tickets ($10 each) for access to the upstairs of the bar which is where the Christmas walk-through photo experience was. Table reservations are NOT included in the tickets, so you'd have to make a separate reservation for table service if you'd like to get food and sit. You can only get drinks upstairs at the bar and take photos throughout there. There were tons of cute photo opportunities; twinkling, color lights, known Christmas character cutouts and themes, bright, big trees - you get the picture. The drinks are pretty regular even though they sound fancy. We got a round of shots and they were really small. The bartenders were all nice, though! I can't speak for the food & table service, but for the paid photo opportunity experience upstairs, it was fun! Nothing super crazy since it's really just for pictures and more of a walk-through experience, but it still puts you in the holiday mood and we're all glad we did it.

This holiday pop up bar is bound to cheer up even the most blue Christmas. Reservations are required. We were seated promptly and were told to scan the QR code for the menu. Servers and bartenders dressed like Santa's helpers and even a Christmas cowboy. All the drinks have cute holiday themes. We ordered the Merry Manhattan and the Elf Fashioned which were both delicious. We shared a Nacho Tree which came out hot and topped with creamy guacamole. Whimsical parachuting Santas hung from the ceiling with bright colored twinkling lights everywhere. Holiday music played and everyone seemed to be having a good time.

i paid a $10 cover and then $45 for two (2) vodka sodas. the vodka is cut (90% water actually not even kidding) 1million%. helpppppp. evil.

Came here with friends for the Christmas vibes, and the decorations did not disappoint. Everything looks incredible and so cheerful. The clausmo drink was decent, but didn't stand out from a standard Cosmo. I expected something in there to make it Christmas-y. The sliders and fries were very good though. The patties were thick and well cooked and the seasoning on the fries was excellent. Worth the $15. Only took a star off for service. She was very nice, but it was hard to get her to come over and we had to ask for water 3 times. Every time she passed by she wouldn't even look at us, even though we were at the bar, so it was hard to find time to put in a second drink. It was a Tuesday night, and not packed by any means. Fun experience overall and I'd return again next year.

Where do I begin?? This place is the official Christmas headquarters! My bestie and I visited this place a couple weeks ago and we had an awesome time. To start, We each had a drink and ordered the Santa sliders....the food was ok...nothing overly special. I liked that we were able to sit at the bar and be served there. Once we finished eating it was time for some fun! There are a ton of photo ops to take really festive pictures and you can navigate between 3 different floors. If I had to say one negative thing about the whole experience it would be there were kids there. I'm not saying kids shouldn't get to take fun pics and enjoy festive decorations, but when a place is advertised as a bar, I don't expect to see or deal with kids. There were a lot of people walking around with their drinks, talking, laughing and having a great time, and then boom: kids running around playing, kids are playing with the photo props and their parents were no where around....I mean is this a bar or Chuck E. Cheese?? But anyway, we ended up taking some great pics and when we made it up to the 3rd level, which was outdoors, we were amazed to see even more beautiful decorations but we were FREEZING! I could of sworn that an employee told us it would be heaters out there but I guess I misunderstood. But moving right along.....their bathrooms are in the basement/lower level and in the ladies' room, there's a female attendant who hands you paper towels to dry your hands and there's a TON of products on the counter to use to freshen up! There was hair spray, body spray, lotions, etc....I didn't care to use anything because it didn't seem too sanitary to me....hundreds of people go in and out that bathroom on a daily basis, that's a lot of hands touching that stuff! But anyway, I can appreciate the convenience of it all. Santa Baby Bar is so festive and fun! This place is definitely worth a visit! However, I recommend going when there's no kids after a certain time....which is why I took away one star.

Came here on a Sunday for brunch. The decor, which is what we came for, was super impressive. Three stories of decorations with tons of photo opportunities, if that's something you're interested in. They seemed to be a bit understaffed. Our waitress was great and absolutely doing her best given the amount of tables she had, but it took a long time to get our food and drinks and some people at our table had their food before others even got their coffees (which, by the way, was really bitter). Food was nothing to write home about. Soft pretzel was good, but dipping sauces were cold and didn't taste great. Pizza was decent. Overall, I think it'd be worth it to stop by for a drink and to appreciate the decor/take some photos, but I'd go elsewhere for food.

The food selection here is much but honestly no one is really going here for the food but more so the ambiance and drinks. The creative drinks they create is top tier and the decoration here is super Amazing. The service was cool and personable. The kids love it here and so do I.

Went with my boyfriend and I'd say it's a great spot for either a date or to go with a large group of friends. It's in bamboo club (deuce's), and they've really done a great job decorating the place. The hot cocoa was probably the best hot cocoa I've ever had. Reasonably priced AND they let you keep the cute mug!!! The drinks at bamboo club have always been good every time I've gone, so it was no surprise that the drinks were awesome. My boyfriend got one of their cocktails and craft local beer and both were great. Overall would highly recommend to go with friends or as a date. One note though - service does take a while as they are quite busy. And the tables are not individual, they're large tables where multiple groups can be put together. I believe you have to book a cabana if you want your own private space.

Came here on a Thursday night with a reservation. It was great to see that it wasn't as packed. My friends and I were able to walk around the first floor to take pictures freely. It you would like to take pictures on the 2nd floor, that's an extra charge. They do have a selection of Christmas drinks that came in 3 sizes. Small, Medium and Large. We went for 2 Medium drinks to split for the 4 of us, a beer and a milkshake. I don't think the medium drinks were worth $36, but oh well. We ordered garlic parmesan chicken wings and truffle fries. The truffle fries were delicious, but the wings were a bit overcooked. If you have friends in town or want a night out, come here after Christmas. It's less crowded, and you are able to take photos without being rushed or pushed.

Happy Holidays. Santa Baby Bar is a pop-up bar In Wrigleyville. I've always wanted to go here after reading reviews online. Unfortunately, my experience was average. I attended a Christmas Party at Santa Baby Bar on December 18, 2022. The drink specials this evening were 8 dollars for basic cocktails , which was loaded with ice. I thought that the decorations were cute. It was very festive, and everything felt like Christmas. So, the positives were the decorations and the photo ops. The negatives were that the security at the door were extremely rude, hostile, and unhelpful. I did not appreciate the negative interactions with them. There is metered parking on the street, and it is very difficult to find street parking. There is a parking garage on Clark and Addison that costs about 19 dollars for 3 hours of parking.

It was so amazing and a good vibe! The service was exceptional and food was ok! The music was good and all the decorations was awesome.

Okay so the reviews so far for 2022 have not been so stellar, but I have to say with a party of 10 ppl, we had a 4 star experience. The price is typical for a tourist trap. Which this is... but still expensive the alcoholic drinks were ah-mazing. I had the tabbouleh salad which was not tabbouleh but still delicious. The adults in my party had the ham sandwich (great!) and the spicy chicken sandwich which was good but a little too spicy. The kids in the group had nachos... our waiter up sold my 14 yo to order the steak nachos which came to a whopping $20 and she didn't like em. (Ugh!). Another kid had the veggie chilli, it was good but not noteworthy, and the other kids had the sliders. Super cute but they said the bread was dry. The 3 teenage girls could've split one order with an extra side of fries. The shakes are pricy. Totally eye candy but 1/2 of the shake is whipped cream... so maybe ask for no whipped cream and see what you get. Our waiter was wonderful, attentive and gave great recommendations. The atmosphere, as everyone says is truest worth the stop. We did not do the extra photo shoots upstairs because that would've been $10/pp.

We made reservations about one month in advance. There were two lines to get in, one for reservations and the other for walk in's. We were early so we explored the 2nd floor photo ops and the rooftop. It was raining so we were unable to fully enjoy the photo ops outside. Our server was nice and attentive. We ordered the hot chocolate, grinch cocktail, beer, burger and pizza. Surprisingly, the burger was really good! We waited about one hour for the pizza. The server felt bad and spoke to the manager which took it off our bill. I thought this was a nice gesture so we agreed to wait an additional 15-20 minutes for the pizza. Paid for our bill and left. After we left, I checked the itemized bill and noticed we were charged for two alcoholic drinks that we didn't order. Called the restaurant and the manager was able to remove them from the bill and completed a refund. Bar and restaurant was busy. I would recommend to make reservations in advance to secure seating. Overall, the restaurant was nicely decorated for the holiday.

They definitely went all out this year, and they even opened up the rooftop and added decorations there as well! Seeing it in person is absolutely magical, photos and videos almost don't do it justice.

We went there for Christmas Day and food was ok. Drinks are pricey but good. The service from our waiter Alex was ok but the hostess are beyond rude! The hostess wearing a gray skirt and red top was insolent and disrespectful. Never come and do not recommend to any friends or family

Service was quick. Waitress was attentive. Drinks were mediocre. Giant pretzel was ok. The idea of Christmas theme brought us in. I was underwhelmed by the experience.
