"Every Saturday, this off-the-beaten-path Farmers Market has all the same stuff as the big one downtown, but it’s simply much more chill. Everyone here is friendly and helpful and mostly locals. Lots of organic produce, meats, eggs, breads, pastries, coffee, nuts, honey, milk, cheese, flowers and plants. Perfectly situated in Virginia Park, you can hang and eat some of their delicious vendor foods, play with your kids on their playground and sprinklers, or go to the newly built Public Library. Oh, and there’s Parking in the lot. Bonus!" - TRÜF

"Taking up several city blocks on Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, this farmers market is the area's flagship: overflowing with seasonal produce and rare splurges like black truffles, bergamot, emu eggs, and sea urchin, it draws many of LA's top chefs (including Niki Nakayama and Michael Cimarusti) and a devoted local following, so expect crowds and market-only finds." - Maxwell Williams
"City of Santa Monica Farmers Market Known for its absolutely huge lineup of specialty produce vendors—and for being a favorite among LA chefs—the Santa Monica Farmers Market is hands-down the crown jewel of SoCal farmers markets. You’ll find everything from sustainably raised prawns to peak-season peaches to heirloom corn masa and artisanal goat cheeses. Make sure to check their Instagram for updates since there’s always something going on here, like folkloric dance performances, live jazz, and communal sound baths (it is Santa Monica, after all). Open Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday, 8am-1pm." - sylvio martins, garrett snyder

"Serving as the source of local produce for Gerard’s Fig collaboration, the Santa Monica Farmers Market will provide the ingredients she and Fig’s executive chef will use to cook renditions of her blog recipes during the month-long residency." - Rebecca Roland

"I read that MacDonald plans to source produce from the Santa Monica farmers market across the menu, emphasizing local ingredients." - Rebecca Roland
