This place has plentiful good reviews and awards and it’s easy to see why - if you’re in the mood for some Mexican food with authentic vibes you really must come here. It’s not the largest of places and although there’s two levels of seating you’ll want to make sure you have a reservation - within five minutes of opening it was already packed at the weekend! The staff were super welcoming and throughout the meal were really friendly and helpful explaining the menu and giving recommendations. There’s some interesting cocktails on offer and, although they took a little while to arrive, were presented beautifully and delicious, especially the Mezcalita Verde which has a super but not overpowering kick from the jalapeño. The food menu isn’t overly large but what is offered is all amazing. In particular the pork belly tacos and elote were so amazingly tasty we’re still talking about them now! All the dishes are designed for sharing so it’s a really sociable experience, and with the decor feels like everyone present is friends with each other with a great atmosphere. I can’t wait to return and highly recommend!

Me and my partner love Mexican food, so I booked this for Valentines Day. Just a stone throw away from London Bridge Station, giving you a break from the typical Soho madness. The drinks were incredible, and the food was spot on. If I were to be critical, the food could have been a bit spicier or had that option at least. We potentially ordered too much food, but ate it all. The fish tacos are a must!

I come to this restaurant quite often, the food is amazing! The tuna, crab and pork tacos are a MUST! The service is also excellent, this last time we were served by a girl called Kaya and she was very kind and loving. We will be back again soon!

If you want to be wowed by a sophisticated menu that disguises itself with simple flavours, this restaurant shines! Atmosphere There are several areas in where you can be seated. The ground level of the restaurant is filled with lots of people, lively chatter with a gentle backing of mexican music. Up top is more the same but the space opens out into several distinct sections. When I visited, it was nice and quiet, again with the gentle backing of music. I felt very relaxed Service The people inside Santo Remedio are very friendly, before I even sat down I was offered a choice of drinks. When asking questions about the menu, I was given prompt answers and recommendations. The food was brought out incredibly quickly resulting in a short wait. I was checked up on a couple of times to ensure I was okay. I felt well taken care of Food I struggled to not lick the dishes clean. I loved how things were served, in very rustic but tasteful pieces. The flavours were expertly balanced and needed no additional seasoning. I really wish I had more time to try a dessert but hopefully next time

Great vibe. Main courses are a bit pricey but the tacos are lovely and loads of options. Best part was the fantastic service by Benjamin who was kind and patient and every ready with suggestions when required. Good service makes everything taste better !

Overall, a decent place to try more authentic Mexican dishes. The dishes packed a lot of flavour. Only slight issue was that the seabass wasn't freshly cooked as it was lukewarm (not hot) when it arrived at the table. The churros were good but not amazingly good. Prices are slightly on the high side, but it is central London. The service from the hosts was excellent but the waiting service was average, they really need to make an effort. Is it worth a try? Yes, if you fancy a treat. Would I go back? A definite no as its a very limited menu
