Santucci's Original Square Pizza

Pizza was really good, and the mozzarella sticks were too. Prices weren’t bad at all and service took a standard amount of time. The dining area is pretty small and feels more set up for takeout than eating in. I’d definitely go back to try some of their other pizzas.

We wanted to try Italian style pizza and ended up in this pizza place. It does not look very attractive from outside - it seems to be more for delivery. I could imagine it as a cosy restaurant…well, maybe another time. Pizza was pretty good, so we enjoyed it anyway.

Last night dec 13th ,2025 ordered a large pizza with sausage And 12 garlic parm wings and pizza was cold - the box was wet also the paper that lined the box was stuck to bottom of the pizza !! The wing were fine . Pretty sure im done with this pizza place Not the first time this happened very disappointed...

Santucci’s Original Square Pizza is one of the best spot in South Philadelphia. The place is very convenient and they serve just amazing food. I have been there several times and I never got disappointed. Their tomato bisque soup which comes with mini grilled cheese is one of the best soup I have ever had in my whole life. It is just amazing. Their original square pizza is also very tasty and they always make it so fresh. The dough is so delicious too. They have great sandwiches also especially buffalo chicken sandwich is my favorite. Sandwiches serve with fries but you can substitute with salad if you want to. The restaurant is very clean and they have open kitchen which is very big plus for any kind of restaurant. The service is very good and waitresses are very friendly and polite. Highly recommend!

Our server, Carie, was one of the best servers i ever had in my entire life. The food was very solid, wouldn’t say it’s the best pizza of my life, but a very solid spot for pizza. Got the margarita pizza, a solid 8 on my playbook, it’s simple, good, dough is cooked well and has a crunch, solid pizza sauce too, but be aware, the portions are a little big. I got a personal pizza and it comes with 4 slices, i was only able to eat 2 and some short rib fries. Such a great bang for buck with great service, would recommend, but don’t expect the greatest pizza of your life, but a reliable option that will not disappoint.

UPDATE: (6 months later) hey guys, jack rock back again. They changed their chicken tenders and increased the price. They seem homemade, and i appreciate the effort… Unfortunately it’s not a move i can whole heartedly endorse. An italian breadcrumbs seasoning is great at home but when i’m in the mood for a classic chicken tender, I will not be ordering these. :( FEBRUARY 2025: I love their chicken tenders so much! the pizza is good too but wow! amazing chicken tenders and service. thank you for the smiles:)

We were introduced to Santucci’s on a food tour and it was heavenly. Pizza is my favorite food on earth, and I wasn’t really sure how Santucci’s was going to stack up to my lifetime favorites. Even from the look of the pictures, without cheese on top, it’s hard to imagine how this pizza is going to taste. Well, wonder no long. This pizza is absolutely amazing!!! I suggest going with their traditional square pizza. I know it looks almost too simple, but it’s magic. The sauce is epic, the cheese pull is spot on, and the crust is the perfect crisp/chewy combination. This is one of those pizzas that is good hot, good warm, and even good cold. If I lived in Philly, I would absolutely be ordering this pizza regularly. Keep up the hard work, Santucci’s.

the lunch special is top tier, $10 for a decently sized cheesesteak with any toppings plus a bunch of fries. food came out really hot and fresh and our server was super nice!!

After walking the Italian market we decided to try Santucci's pizza. The service was fast. We sat inside and enjoyed a square margarite pizza, and a chicken Parmesan sandwich with fries. The chicken was crispy and well seasoned. The bread was not your typical Italian hoagie. It wasn't crunchy on outside with sesame seeds. Instead it was a soft hoagie plain bread. The margarite pizza had very small pieces of mozzarella cheese on it so adding Parmesan cheese helped with flavor. The tables were clean. The place filled up soon after we ordered our food!

Usually go to the Santuccis on Broad St. So this was my first time at this location. As always the food was absolutely delicious. I got my all time favorite sandwich: chicken cutlet on garlic bread with American cheese, lettuce and tomato. The chicken was a little pink but the sandwich was so good I just ate around it lol. The boneless chicken was delicious - smoked bbq was the fan favorite. We also got the meatball sub which was delicious. We ordered delivery and it was super fast.

Whoever answered the phone extremely rude. Called at 9 pm they don't close until 10pm. Beyond rude ended up not ordering and going to a different location because of the phone interaction. Women on the phone.

Loved Santuccis. My son treated me to their pizza and I loved my chicken Flatbread. Though candied walnuts should be omitted,it was ruining the flavour. Buffalo chicken deep dish was awesome too I took home their marinara sauce chef's kiss Garlic bread was done to perfection Chicken cheeses teak as lovely The server was a beautiful tattooed girl who was super friendly and helpful.

First time here. Brand new restaurant. Ordered the large pie Margharita style. The staff was great, friendly. The pizza was awful. I'm really sorry to say this, it no one we served liked it. Arrived exactly when they said it would be ready, it was luke warm. Sauce had no taste, barely any cheese or tomato or basil. So disappointed.

Note: NO SLICE PIZZA Got a box of regular cheese pizza (sauce on top) and it costs $11 something. I must say this is an interesting pizza with the sauce on top. I also been wanting to try this place and today felt like the perfect day to get it. con:wished the sauce had more flavor to it.

In efforts to find a replacement for Angelo's, we found Santucci's through handy dandy Yelp! I drove up and assumed we could only order through phone for takeout. So we did. I got the marghertia pizza personal. I went to go inside and grab my food, and saw they were open! We asked if we could sit inside with our meal, but they rudely said no and that we had to order inside to be able to sit inside. Didn't know what difference it would've made considering it was empty. We ended up eating in the car. Onto the food- this is legit my favorite pizza! The crust was the perfect amount of crispness. The sauce was saucy. I prefer a little liquidity than tomato flavored. It was excellent. The proportions for bread, to sauce to cheese was on point. I came home with my leftovers and couldn't quite get the same level of crispy. Downgraded a star because of the rude staff.

Worst chicken cheese steak ever. Garlic bread didn't taste like garlic bread meat was dry. I still payed for my food and they offered to make another one but if you got it wrong the first time im not giving you a second chance and waste anymore of my time. Manager who made it didn't want to come talk about it.

Service is the worst and I'm a long time customer. I would also check green cards. Ambiance is sloppy. The pizza is good, but I grew up on Pica's Pizza in Delco so this is the only pizza similar in the city. How hard is it to fulfill a pizza order? They remembered the meatballs and taking my cash.

I stopped by on a visit to Philly and the Italian market, since I really wanted to try square pizza and Santuccis claims to be the originator! It was pretty easy to find (only a block from the Italian market). We came in at 6pm so definitely an early dinner and almost no one there. The portion sizes are MASSIVE, so you can easily split just 1 pizza with another person. My boyfriend and I decided to split an order of The Works Pizza. It came pretty quickly, very hot, and with a LOT of sauce. The pizza was pretty solid, but definitely messy and I think I might stick to sauce under my cheese rather than over. But it was definitely yummy and solid pizza to check out!

When I was looking for authentic Philly food, the place for square pizza is santuccis! There have so many different locations, but I came to the one in the Italian market for my try at their pie. We ordered the works pizza that came with loads of meat and vegetables! It's tough to compare this to a classic tomato pie in phill, since there are so many toppings on it, but what we all noticed was that the dough was super flavorful and light, and the crust had a nice texture to it! The pizza was fantastic, and is definitely a must try in the area! We also wanted to try their cannolis, and the waitress brought out 3 mini cannolis filled with ricotta and sited with powder sugar. The cannolis weren't the best to be honest, as there are definitely other places in the Philly area that have much better cannolis!! This was the only square pizza I had with toppings, so it's hard to compare it to others, but it was definitely delicious! We were sitting at a table next to a lady giving a group a food tour of the area, which goes to show you that the locals absolutely love Santuccis Square Pizza, and you should definitely check it out!

Absolutely love the Santuccis's square pizza. It's a cheat meal staple! Toss up on pizza or the baked penne for my favorite order, usually I make it both. The extra baked penne freezes and reheats perfectly! I usually get take away but you can also dine in, I prefer the Italian market location.

Top notch service and quality, every time. Food is absolutely delicious, and they will accommodate any special requests. Delivery and pickup is always on time.

The pizza is mid. It's not bad in any way but just not my flavor. The 3 stars is mostly because the pizza arrived cold and I had asked for basil, thinking it would be fresh basil instead it was like sprinkled dry basil.

First time having Sicilian style pizza and my boyfriend and I absolutely love it. We both aren't huge fans of the Chicago style deep dish, and I was worried that the works pizza will be similar to the deep dish style but the dough to sauce ratio was perfect. We ordered for pick up and accidentally ordered 2 the works pizza instead of ordering 1 of each but the manager was awesome and didn't charge us for the buffalo chicken pizza.

Pretty good pizza! Came here as part of a food tour and tasted authentic with a good amount of tomato, sauce, and crust. The crunchy dough was something I really liked here too. Wasn't too crowded when I came but it seems like the staff and restaurant itself is pretty relaxed. Nice place to stop by at!

It's square. It tastes like a good pizza. It's a thinner crust that I assumed. Nice 'hood too.

This was the best pizza I've had in recent memory. I ordered a customized personal (9") square pizza with spinach, green peppers, onions, green peppers, tomatoes and olives. For a "personal" pizza, this thing was huge. I had no business eating the entire thing, but it was just too good not to. The crust was hefty enough to hold in place, the cheese, red sauce and toppings. It was lightly charred in spots which added a nice crunch to offset the veggies. The hidden mozzarella cheese was subtle compared to the sauce and toppings, but it offset the sweeter notes of the sauce. Speaking of which, this was one of the most flavorful sauces I've had on a pizza. It was tangy, rich and seasoned perfectly -- yet it didn't overpower the other ingredients. It was all so good. Unless you're feeling ravenous, I'd definitely recommend splitting the personal size with someone.

Tried pizza from this joint! Thicker crust than NY pizza and extra saucy. We had The Works and the Buffalo Chicken. The Works had a new taste with every bite between the pepperoni and sausage. The onion and peppers cut diced gives a nice fresh crunch with the bite. The buffalo chicken smells like buffalo sauce but not as spicy and there is very little chicken on the pizza. For the price, I feel there should have been a little more. I enjoyed the taste and it hit the spot. Check out the pizza here for sure!

Love this pizza! I used to get the small but would have two slices eaten before I got it home! The large is so worth it! Great reheated too in toaster oven!

Got take out from here after moving into the neighborhood, and honestly I'm shocked this place doesn't have a better rating! Ordered online which was easy and got a text saying our pizza was ready. Not a massive selection of pizzas I suppose, and its not really the fancy stuff you might get at many center city pizza joints, but its got what you need. We got a veggie pizza with shrooms, broccoli rabe, extra cheese and some other delicious things. The sauce goes ON the cheese which was weird to think about but this pizza was AMAZING. Honestly, the crust was probably the best part. Ever so slightly crispy on the bottom, fluffy, and great flavor. The sauce also had just a hint of sweetness which was great. We also got an apple and gorgonzola salad which was a surprisingly massive helping, and delicious too. A very nice mix of flavors and not heavy on anything in particular. The pickled onions were an especially nice surprise. Didn't take us long, but I think we found our neighborhood pizza joint. Check them out for sure! Just don't get delivery cuz it seems like thats most peoples problem with the place?

tl;dr a family-run BYOB pizzeria cooking up signature square pies among other Italian fare Many Philly-ites swear by Santucci's, and it's not hard to see why -- the original location in South Philly has been serving up some of the city's best pizzas since 1959. Dished out exclusively by the pie, the pizzas have a signature thin-crust and square-shape, crafted uniquely with the cheese underneath the sauce. The pies are wood-fire to-order, so expect to wait 20 minutes or so for it. The non-pizza options at Santucci's are middling at best, and it's for this reason that I'm only giving it 4 stars. The original Italian Market location is situated unassumingly on a quiet residential corner. But as soon as you walk in, the delectable smells of fresh-baked Italian herbs and spices. The majority of the space is taken up by the large, open kitchen, where a half dozen staff members are hard at work cranking out pies. The simple seating area toward the right of the restaurant is crammed with numerous two-seater wooden tables, flanked by the homey atmosphere of exposed brick and red shiplap ceilings. Walls are decorated with Italian accents including wine bottles and framed prints. But nonetheless. Santucci's remains with the times, featuring a flat-screen and stereo sound system. During this past visit, my partner and I were really craving some high-end pizza, and ordered The Works, decked out in pepperoni, sausage, peppers, mushrooms, and onions. As always, Santucci's continued to dazzle us with their pie, served on a wooden pizza platter with a full-sized spatula. The large is enormous, sporting 17" x 12" dimensions. The layer of cheese separating dough from sauce ensured that the pizza never ended up a soggy mess. The crust was crisp and buttery -- even I, a notorious non-crust eater, chomped down on every last bite. The red sauce was sweeter than chain pizzerias', accentuating the freshness of the ingredients. The sausage, meanwhile was robustly savory, perfectly complimenting the peppers and onions. For $28, we enjoyed one of our favorite pizzas in Philly, and still had two slices to take home. While I'm skeptical of whether delivery would end up the same quality, I have no doubt that I'll be back in-person soon enough.

When I was living in San Diego all I was thinking about was getting my hands on a Santucci's pie. Pizza out in San Diego, well all of Southern California is horrendous. It is never cooked right, I would always ask if they can make it well done. They love that doughy pizza out there, and the crust, don't even get me started. Plus the taste is bland, more like there is none. The saying is so true when they say "You can't have your cake and eat it too". The weather, and scenery hands down is unbelievable, but the pizza isn't. Well guess what Yelp fam, I'm back and I'm singing that song Cheek to Cheek every time I walk in. I'm pretty sure Fred Astaire would be content with my voice. (Check the footnote at the end of this review.) What makes a good pizza stand out from the others? It's all about the foundation. The crust, the dough, and that sauce. You need some kind of tang to it where it just stands out from the rest. Santucci's nails it in every which way. Yes I know there are plenty of establishments out there that also meet those standards, and I too am a fan of them. Pizza~ Now this isn't your traditional pie, this is not that perfect circumference one is used to. If you're the type that loves toppings on a pizza then I suggest you rock out The Works pie. Now this bad boy has some weight to it, so be ready. I also enjoy their Margherita pie with that fresh basil taste to it, hitting your taste buds from left to right with every bite. Pieces of mozzarella and tomatoes strategically placed throughout this work of art. Here is something else we enjoyed, and it's their wings. Garlic Parm wings for the win my friends. Nice sized meaty wings that will take you more than one bite to finish. Now if you're not into pizza Santucci's menu is pretty impressive from sandwiches, flat breads, burgers, even down to pasta dishes. Santucci's also do brunches for those who can't decide if they want breakfast or lunch. Let me tell you I'm all about that brunch menu. If you can't find something on this menu that will raise an eyebrow, you might as well just leave. In closing I leave you with this. Seeing the area you are in with other establishments doing their thing Santucci's has been here holding it down, and I really don't see them going anywhere. We usually order from here on their website and the food has been good. Tonight we ordered and the food was terrible! Not only that their delivery person was rude! We ordered boneless wings with honey chipotle and they were overcooked and rubbery. The boneless wings with mild sauce had barely any sauce. I had to make my own. They forgot the blue cheese and celery. The onion rings were burnt. the antipasto platter was a joke. The meat was ok, just 3/4 prosciutto and 1/4 salami. The other part was supposed to be assorted cheeses but was bits of manchango cheese. about 6 tiny and I mean tiny pieces that should have been thrown away. I will post picture. The rest was 3 roasted long hots, a big bunch of roasted red peppers, sad looking pickled onions, and 10 tiny kalamata olives. The bread was cheap, stale baguette. Their delivery person dropped off our food at the front desk. My husband brought it up and as the elevator was closing, the delivery guy started yelling. He dropped off the food and went down to see what was up. I opened the bags and got our food out. One solo white bag was also there. I started to open and noticed it was pasta. When my husband went down, the guy started yelling and swearing that he wanted his food back. My husband said its our food. He said it wasn't and continued screaming. As my husband went back into the elevator in our condo he tried to go on the elevator. The front desk was going to call the police if he did not leave. they escorted him outside and he continued screaming. My husband brought down all the food, including ours and told him to take. He saw the receipt had our name and only the pasta was not ours. Told us to keep or food and took pasta. As he left he made some obscene gestures. we called santuccis and told them. I am not sure anything will be done. We will not order from there anymore and the food was awful too. They did not even apologize.

I recently went to Santucci's for a grilled chicken Caesar salad. I ordered at the register. Let me make it clear that No One, absolutely no one was eating in there. Plenty of open tables were available for me to eat there. But because I ordered at the counter it made me ineligible to sit down real quick and eat my meal. The employees kept telling me that's the policy. We aren't talking about dealing with me on a human level and letting me who just paid $25 for a salad and a Pepsi simply just sit and eat my food in an EMPTY restaurant. I will NEVER spend a dime in Santucci's. I hope all of their restaurants close for good. And I will speak bad about that place to whoever mentions going there.

Service: 5/5 Our waitress was very attentive. She kept our water and drinks full. Nothing to complain about. App/Salad: 5/5 We ordered the meat and cheese board which was insanely plentiful. It was off the chain. Where do you have appetizers to take home? Here you do. The meats were prosciutto, capicola, and salami. The board also came with cheese, pickled onions, radishes, and eggplant. There were also two fried long hots. The farmers salad had a basalmoc vinigarette. Pizza: 5/5 Wow the crust. This pizza was perfectly cooked with a crunchy, but not tough crust. The pizzas are square and made Sicilian style, with the cheese and sauce flip flopped. We ordered the Margherita pizza and The Works, which is like a Supreme pizza. The basil and tomatoes were fresh and so yummy on the Margherita pizza. There's nothing to complain about here. We enjoyed every bit of it.

WOW. first of all, the people are over the top nice. If I lived in Philly I would there everyday. The Works pizza was fantastic. The fries were the largest size I have ever seen. I love this place and would get back every chance I could.

My friend and I came here in the middle of the day on a Saturday (around 2:30pm) and it was empty. We split a Large (17") Veggie Works (extra cheese, spinach, broccoli rabe, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions). It was delicious! I was curious to see if the order of crust, cheese, sauce, toppings really made for a different experience than the usual order of crust, sauce, cheese, toppings. To be honest, it wasn't better, but it also wasn't worse - just a new way to see the world of pizza. We ate half the pizza there and took the other half home. Overall, a great deal for delicious pizza!

Waited over 15 minutes in a completely empty dining room with my son and no one came over after seating us right by the entrance. Looked around to make eye contact and they still didn't come over (still no other customers in the dining room and it was 6:30pm). Didn't want to make a fuss so we left.

Meant to write this months ago when I ordered Sunday takeout from here whilst a little hungover and craving grease and cheese. Got the buffalo chicken pizza and the short rib gravy cheese fries. The pizza was far too expensive for the size and taste. It played better as a white pizza with some hot sauce and chicken on it, but I wouldn't call it a buffalo chicken pizza. The fries, however, were ON POINT. As stick-to-your-ribs as it gets. Heavy forkfuls of short rib braised all day like at Grandma's house, mounds of melty cheese curds, a generous slathering of brown gravy, and fries that gave out a little bit under the weight of all that good good (gravy cheese fries aren't supposed to be crispy!) If you're into that whole tomato pie business (i.e., ketchup on bread), have at it. Apparently they do it the best. For me, I'm sticking to those fries.

I've had pizza and wings from broad street location and wings from italian market and the italian market wins every time. This time I shared a personal pief with nothing extra on it, and 12 wings with light sauce and the wings were perfectly crispy and still enough hint of buffalo wing sauce heat (I could have used it completely marinated but it wasn't just me eating. And the pie was perfect. It was for pick up and delivered still delicious hot and crispy even after 15 minutes. But I do wish it wasn't so expensive for 12 wings and a small 4 piece pie.

Tried this tonight. Called ahead and asked if the crust was thick. She said no but it was thick, We ordered the meat lovers and it was gooey with the sauce on the top and you could not hold and eat it, as it was limp. The pizza was just not good. Also ordered the buffalo pizza which was not good either. It was the opposite the cheese overcooked. I was really looking forward to trying this. But sadly disappointed.

The square pizza is what you come here for. We ordered a large works, which comes with pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, peppers and onions. The sauce is on top, while the cheese is at the bottom touching the crust. When you take a bite, the cheese pulls away in those long strands. The top of the pizza was nicely charred/broiled on top. My only complaint is that the crust tasted a bit stale. Probably parcooked so that it doesn't get too soggy in the middle/bottom. Good pizza!

Alright Frankie, we came here after seeing Pres' barstool pizza review and glad we did. We started off with a side Caesar salad which was really good and fresh. They were out of medium size pizzas so we split a personal Works pizza and it was enough for my wife and I to split. 2 square pieces for each of us. The sauce and ingredients were so good. I'm not used to this style pizza but I would compare it to a pan pizza at Pizza Hut except this is actually edible and delicious. Friendly server and fair prices. 5 stars from us. Checked in on yelp and got a free brownie. Place is Cash Only but they have an ATM on site I believe.

Can't go wrong with the original square pizza! What makes it different from a normal pizza? IMO the sauce is so much sweeter, the bread is slightly thicker but not in an overwhelming way, its more crisp and buttery, and the cheese is more pronounced since the tomato sauce is so sweet. I think this type of pizza is what deep dish wishes it could be! Super good and tasty, I have it when Im craving a pizza thats a little bit more special.

I got a large pizza with onions, green peppers, long hots, and extra cheese. The pizza was average there was really no flavor to the pizza. I wish the sauce would have been more tangy. I really couldn't taste the sauce it felt like it was just on there. When I called to order my pizza the person who answered the phone left me on hold for 20 mins and didn't even say please wait. So when I went in to pick up I thought they would be busy but they weren't. Other wise the pizza was alright.

This is the first spot I hit up when I got to Philly. I saw this on a lot of food lists and had to make my way over. I ordered the works. They are known for their square pizzas. A pan crusted style pizza with cheese in the middle and sauce on top. It takes away the soggyness of a normal pizza. They did a great job and the bite of the sauce was delicious! I really enjoyed the crispy of the crust. It was a good solid pizza. Great way to start my trip in Philly. Recommendation: The Works Pizza

I am not a pizza expert. Far from it. In fact, pizza is my least favorite food to eat out. Having said this, my spouse loves pizza and we have it often and there are wayyyyy to many pizza joints making entirely too thin crusts under the disguise of being neopolitan or specialty. There are also way too many neighborhood shops using poor quality cheese or lackluster sauce. This is not the case over at Santucci's. They do it right. A family recipe, square pie with excellent cheese to sauce ratio plus the sauce on the top. The cheese stays melty and pulls away in beautiful strings of connected goodness from pie to your mouth. I will gladly have pizza date night here again and again. My only complaint is that the crust is not crispier on the bottom and this creates very little texture difference making the bite soft on soft on soft. But hey, like I said, I'm no expert so maybe soft is what they aim for.

Am I starving? Is that why this was one of the best meal we've had in PHL? Am I just delusional because I ran a red light? Is it because our server epitomized the Jersey look and feel? All of the above. PHL was a gastro-wasteland for me, but this place gave me hope. I was expecting just something typical when we ordered medium works/veggie works. Server knew that I wanted to ask if I can do half and half and she answered before I even asked. (Is this a thing in Philly? Mindreading?) Pizza was fantastic. Like "I will be back" type of fantastic. It was the perfect marriage of Chicago's deep dish and New York's thin crust. The bottom crust was crunchy but there was so much tomato sauce on there that made me feel like I was eating deep dish. Santucci's upside down pizza surprisingly works! So yes, I am a believer and because of Santucci, yes Philly, I will give you another chance to wow my stomach.

First time dining here. The garden was amazing and very chill. Food and music was great, and my family and I had a blast. Our waitress Mallory rocked! She was so down to earth and funny. Thank you Mallory for making our first experience a memorable one. We'll definitely be back.

A South Philly classic, Santucci's really is the best pizza around. Made the Sicilian way, with the sauce on top, these square pies are so delicious and flavorful. A large pie is cut into 10 slices, a medium into 6 and a small into 4. It's good to know this so you can decide how much pizza to order for your party. While they don't take reservations, there is both indoor and outdoor seating. The service here has always been great. The pizzas don't come out super quickly, but they're all made fresh and from scratch, so it's definitely worth the wait! Keep in mind that it is cash only, but that there is an ATM inside.

Delicious! Ordered food for a large crowd, they had the order done quickly and prepared all of the pizzas according to instruction. It was a huge hit! Also, the veggie works without cheese might be the best vegan pizza I have ever had. I didn't even miss the cheese!

Now I normally come here for dinner (and love it) - but today I didn't feel like dealing with all the craziness of all the traditional brunch places in Phila, so we decided to give it a go for brunch! We got there right at opening (10 am), so it was pretty dead. We got two egg sandwiches, tater tots, and pancakes, (don't judge us ) and let me tell you what I was so pleasantly surprised. The sandwich was huge and so was the serving of tater tots. Everything was delicious. I feel like we discovered a hidden gem of a brunch spot - especially since it's BYOB! We asked the waitress if it's normally more crowded and she said it really just depends. I will now be coming here for more than just pizza! (But definitely still for pizza because well it's amazing) Update: ordered takeout from here. When I got home I realized they forgot the side of garlic parm fries I ordered. I had gotten a grilled cheese panini as well and the cheese wasn't melted. When I called to say they forgot my fries they told me unless I wanted to come get them there was nothing they could do. Not even refund me. Disappointing customer service. Triple check your order....

Wonderful neighborhood joint that makes delicious pizza! Seriously, you have to get the square pizza! My friend and I just stumbled upon this place randomly while trying to find a brunch spot in the area. We looked over the menu and decided to eat here and once we saw people with the square pizza, we knew that's what we had to get! We ordered the works and eagerly awaited for it to arrive. I was not disappointed one bit. I love that its essentially trying to be a deep dish pizza and has a crispy crust with it, which was definitely my favorite part. But really, even recalling this pizza and writing about it is making me what to head back to Philly to order it again. Just a note that they make their crust ahead of time for the square pizzas so when they're out, they are out. So unfortunately for my friend and I, we had to order a size up from the small. But then again, we thoroughly enjoyed it all and ate it all so... probably a blessing in disguise :) I was able to try out their soup special which was an italian classic. I thought it was good, a good start to the meal. My friend also ordered a salad before we got our pizza and she enjoyed that as well. Unfortunately, we didn't have the best customer service though. Our server forgot to bring silverware or refill drinks throughout the meal. At one point, we were trying to just do it ourselves because we got tired of waiting. Not really the best in terms of dining experience but the food was absolutely wonderful! I did notice that although they have a small and crowded space, they did have larger parties dining there. Also, it seemed like they deliver so maybe that's the best option in the future to get their delicious pizza and avoid the lousy customer service.

We had a delicious first time visit to Santuccis. We ordered sweet potatoes fries to start with Caesar salads to go with the pizza. The sweet potato fries are a huge portion, shared with 2 adults and 3 kids. We ordered 2 Caesar salads to share, allowing the kids to eat. The salad had a great garlic flavor. We ordered The Works pizza which had sausage, pepperoni, cheese, sauce, mushrooms, onions and green bell pepper. They are known for their square pizzas made in a pan where the cheese goes on the bottom and sauce on the top. We definitely will be coming again.
