We had a wonderful experience at Sara Bakery in Richardson. The staff were incredibly polite and professional, making our visit feel welcoming and comfortable. The store is exceptionally well-maintained and offers a wide variety of products, all of excellent quality. The produce was impressively fresh, and the meat selection was ethically sourced and 100% halal, which is perfect for those who value both quality and adherence to religious standards. It was a pleasant coincidence to meet the owner, Ibrahim, during our visit. He personally helped us find what we were looking for and demonstrated just how deeply knowledgeable and passionate he is about his work. He was also kind enough to offer us samples of his freshest bakery goods, which were absolutely delicious. While picking up food from the in-store restaurant, we also had the pleasure of meeting his brother, Abdullah, who was just as warm and welcoming. The hospitality and genuine care shown by both brothers truly elevated the entire experience. If you're looking for a place with high-quality food, great service, and a personal touch, Sara Bakery is a gem worth discovering. Highly recommended.

It's an easy drive down to this specialty market. Entry via long ramp or steps, so it is accessible to all. Clean, bright, organized, and up to date. Boxes of freshly made cookies and baklava available. Spices, meats, pasta, sauces, pickled veg, produce, including beautiful eggplant and melons, other ones in season. Friendly employees. A great place to stock up on your specific needs or whims for delightful cooking.

I stumbled across Sara’s Markets by pure chance—and I’m so glad I did! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and genuine hospitality. Abdullahi went above and beyond, offering exceptional customer service. He personally showed me around the store, shared details about their unique offerings, and even treated me to delicious samples from the bakery and deli. The atmosphere was welcoming, the shelves were well-stocked with specialty items I haven’t seen anywhere else, and the quality of the food was top-tier. This place is truly a hidden gem—one of those rare spots you almost don’t want to share because it’s that good. Sara’s Market is one of my favorite spots! I especially love checking out their barbecue section — the beef tenderloin is hands down the best I’ve had. Always worth the visit!

The pita beard is really good and fresh. I tasted the chicken Levent tawook sandwich and kafta beef sandwich, 😋 yummy, highly recommended. They have all kinds of fresh vegetable items!

this little market is located a little off the beaten path in Richardson. There is plenty of parking and lots to shop when you get inside. Everything is very clean and well organized. If you were there just for a meal like we were, you had to the very back corner to the service counter. I had the steak kebab plate, and it was probably the most delicious steak I have ever had! Super buttery and cooked perfect. The rice was amazing as was the hummus. It's not cheap ($20 for the plate), but worth the money! I do wish the restaurant had more tables to sit out and eat or some tables outside. If you're going and want to eat there, there's only a few barstools or you have the option to eat in your car.

Otw way home from a negative dining experience we stopped by Sara's to pickup some fresh herbs to make an Asian salmon bowl for dinner. Along with some avocados and Persian cucumbers. My hubby says he needs to get the nasty taste of lunch out of his mouth. Thanks Sara's for always being breath of fresh air. It truly excites me to shop here, I'm a true Foodie. Friendly staff and super clean store with fresh produce & meats. Sara's has the best hummus we have ever eaten. Give them visit, you won't be disappointed.

This was my first time visiting the store and I was very impressed. The store is clean and well stocked. I called in my order at the grill and it was hot and ready when I arrived. The gentleman at the grill even gave me a sample of their caramel baklava (I think that is what he said) I left with a delicious kebab/kefta lunch. I was in and out and will definitely be coming back.

Wowza!!! Amazing!!! This little hot spot will not disappoint!!! Ruuun!! Do not walk, do not pass this one up! Food will keep you coming back! Fresh food and great service. I'm putting this one on repeat. Ugh! Sorry I missed the food pic! But trust me the grill is a must! I tried the kabobs and the chicken was delicious. The beef was too tender!

This market has a very nice cooked food area in the back where they make kabobs and wraps. Really nice. I had a chicken kabob dinner and it came with some grilled veggies and a cucumber and tomato salad.

Best Kebab wraps in DFW hands down. Grab a friend and split a Shish Tawook entree and a Beef Tenderloin wrap (pro tip: ask for it toasted). Eat at the counter in the back if there's space. Don't forget a dessert and a tub of hummus to go. You won't regret it.

I've been here a handful of times and always stock up on their fresh whole wheat pita, hummus, and spicy labneh (their garlic spread is also very yummy)! I love their wide variety of offerings and have been able to find some niche items for baking/cooking! They have a great produce selection (and meat counter but I haven't grabbed anything from there yet). The grill is open slightly different hours from the grocery store but it is worth planning around since the shish tawook is SO yummy - it can last a couple meals and every aspect is delicious! They also have some yummy offerings in their bakery case (including the viral Dubai chocolate bars)! The staff is so nice/has been helpful with questions and I highly recommend checking out this spot!

The all around best! I mostly get takeout from the S Grill in the back. I've had their beef tenderloin plate, shish tawook (chicken) and kefta wraps, the baba ganoush is my fav side. Everything is always cooked perfectly, and the service is so friendly. Their pita is a family recipe, definitely try it!

I love this place - my husband is Syrian and this is a little piece of home for him. The people are always so nice. The food is delicious, love the shop in the back and the meals they sell. The hummus is by far the best hummus I've had in Dallas. 10/10 would recommend

Never would I have imagined to be giving such high regards to a grocery store, but Sara's truly takes the cake with service, freshness, and variety! Upon entry, you will see their vast, colorful, and well-kept produce selection, but the closer you get to the back is where the real magic lies! The first counter you will see is the butcher who has a stunning selection of quality fresh meats for very reasonable prices, and just behind that, you will find the best gyros, dips, and pitas you have ever had! Their deli offers everything from wraps to salads to desserts and a little bit of everything in between, and I can say that the food from here surpasses that of a lot of Dallas restaurants. My go to order is a gyro wrap, then on my way to the cash register, I pick up their homemade pitas, baba ganoush, and harissa. I will say, I was a tad hesitant about the gyro as I couldn't smell the aroma of the grill when walking the store, but this is just a testament to how well cleaned and ventilated the store is as the gyro is delicious & well seasoned. This is a true hidden gem that deserves to be enjoyed by all!

As a Lebanese guy, this bakery was excellent. They had a lot of old school items that I grew up with. I came here years ago back in 2016 and I'm glad to see nothing has changed. The produce is top quality, too. The bakery items themselves were a little limited but maybe that's just because I came so early in the morning. I was very excited. Can't wait to come back.

Fantastic place to get middle eastern grocery items. Store was busy, but very well stocked and clean. We bought some eggplant dip with pomegranate and also beet hummus which were fantastic with the store roasted spicy pita chips. Would definitely go back for the butcher counter alone. Total gem! Don't forget the baklava!

I have been wanting to try out Sarah's Market and Bakery for a while now. I'm Persian so I'm always seeking out middle eastern businesses in DFW. Right now, the mini sour plums are in season so I got a whole bag full. They are amazing! Also, got a full jar of sour pickles. As well as a fresh slice of pistachio cake. Not overly sweet and the pistachio flavor is amazing! The whole bakery looked amazing. Lastly, I had never seen pomegranate with pistachio squares before. The pomegranate is like a jelly consistency and it was very good! Overall, there's a great selection of veggies and fruits along with a bakery/grill and lots of canned goods. Want to definitely come back and try some more items!

I had the absolute best experience. Everyone at the grill was helpful and kind and helped to make sure our catering order was ready on time. We had countless compliments on the food at our baby's birthday lunch. We gave many guests the contact info so that they could enjoy this wonderfully made food at their next gathering. What a blessing!

I just had the chicken wrap sandwich with pickles and garlic sauce. My breath stinks and my belly is happy. lol The guy who took my order at the grill was nice per usual and offered me a macaron while I waited. I haven't had a bad thing from here yet.

I had the Famous Dubai Chocolate today, and it tasted phenomenal!! It was worth every penny!! I bought 15 bars for my children's teachers. They were obsessed and thankful. I also love all their sandwiches made fresh daily on the grill!! Amazing service as well. 10/10 recommend!! Sara Bakery is the best Mediterranean super market in Dallas!!

Awesome market. Small but boutique feel. Great desserts. The clincher is the S Grill in the back of the store. Fresh delicious food. Scrumptious. Get the garlic sauce to go- they have a whole section for hummus and garlic sauce and all that. Go to S Grill and get a plate. You won't regret it. Good service - fast cashiers and though the folks at S Grill take a while, it's worth the wait. Food always tastes fresh - makes sense since it's in a grocery store.

We visted this market last week to buy Black seed oil when we noticed that they have a grill take out place at the back. The lady that we were speaking with that day was super nice and friendly, patiently answering all our querries. So we decided to back to the market to specifically try the grilled meats. Oh my goodness, so glad we came back as the kebabs was Super Yummy and priced reasonably. The shish kebab was tender and juicy. The Chicken kebab, although it was not a dark meat (we prefer chicken thigh) was also very good. The Kefta , which reminded me of Luleh , except that it's a combination of beef & lamb meat ) was really good too. All the 3 meats we tried, with their seasoning were flavourful . The baba ghannouj is very good too! We are used to Armenian kebabs places in Los Angeles. This place will be our favorite in DFW area. They only have counter seats, only 4 or 5 stools, so this is really primarily a take out counter. We sat there and chatted with the people working there. All of them were very nice and seem really happy to work there. We will definitely be back.

I visited this market for the purpose of buying farina, but left with more items than I originally though. Typical me with window shopping, but I explored the market a little bit and found a bakery + additional items there. I grabbed some pita bread since it's fresh and looked like better quality (and cheaper) then what I'd expect at a traditional super market. I really wanted to try the tarts that they had, but I did grab a Parisian Flan. First time having it and there is a clear difference between this and the Flan I've had before. It had a thicker crust (almost like shortbread or a thinner pie crust). The custard was light and the char on the flan was perfect.

Great customer service, fresh lamb selection, the employees were very friendly and helpful. Deli counter makes hummus and baba ganoush daily.

Again mixed feelings . I keep coming back to this place because they have the best baba ghanouj in the metro area . But their pita bread is still terrible !!!

This is about the market, not about the prepared food. They have an interesting selection of products but limited selection. And the prices! Sadly very expensive even for the fresh produce. I'll be searching for another market to find the staples.

This particular 5-star review is dedicated to the Lemon and Vanilla macaroons. They were, quite simply, the best I've ever had. Let me say that again; these macaroons were the best I've ever had.

This market was recommended by a coworker. Oh boy, what a cute little market. They even have a delcious restaurant. We ordered the grilled chicken and it was delcious and fresh. We also got extra freshly made hummus and garlic sauce cause we just have enough of it! I definately recommended getting some food from here. They also have plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as lots of seasonings. Service was great!

9/6/22: Wide selection of Middle Eastern food items, spices, hot food and a very nice meat market. They have a very good produce section and an ample freezer and cold food section. Their pita bread is always fresh. The store is very clean, and the staff is very helpful, especially if you look lost or confused. The staff will patiently answer your questions about their items. Parking can be a challenge at times.

Sara's is bright, clean, the staff is friendly, the food selection is abundant, the produce is fresh. Very happy to have found this market!

Super cool place with a very interesting selection of products. Everything was extremely clean and organized when I was there and the staff was very helpful when I asked for help finding something. Pro tip: Try the pistachio baklava, you won't regret it.

The fruit and vegetable excellent quality and some stuff are very unique to the us market, their meat and poultry very fresh and lot of variety and almost nothing is old or bad drive long way to shop, the prices are very reasonable for the quality, very pleased and grateful to have place with great helpful staff and very polite.

Everything was perfect. The best hummus I've ever had. The best pita wrap in the States- I'm sure of it. And, most surprising, the best macaron, too. Homemade. Wild. Definitely a solid pick for a fun and casual lunch.

I'm not sure I should share this secret but the grill is amazing. The shish tawook is the best meal we have ever had. It comes with chicken, rice, pita bread, an awesome garlic paste, Arabic salad or yogurt salad, and tomato and onions. When I say it is the best I mean it. They are friendly and quick and know their way around a grill.

It was good to visit a market to pick up things I cannot find locally. I spent $10 on a dragon fruit , but besides that no complaints. I want to try their entrees now based on photos from other reviewers. The produce section is fresh and worth a stop to try something you've never had.

They had the best tasting tiramisu!!! When I find myself in Dallas again, I'll make sure I stop by.

They carry a little of a lot of things, a lot of middle eastern foods and plenty of regular all around fruits and produce. I went mainly for their chocolate chip cookies! They are not for the faint of heart.

I've been looking for a good middle eastern/Mediterranean grocery store and I've finally found it! Everything in the store is Halal; including meats. I honestly came here for the spices and dried goods. They have a very nice variety of spices but I was hoping it would be bigger. Prices are very reasonable as well! They have whole and ground spices. I finally got my hands on some hibiscus flowers and good quality tahini and zaatar! I really like their products because everything is so fresh and you can get all the middle eastern goods that you would never find at the regular grocery store. Overall, I'm very impressed with all their selections so much that I will be coming back frequently; especially to try those freshly baked pita bread! The store itself is medium sized and the aisle are tiny so you will always bump into other customers so grab a small cart. Everyone was incredibly kind and even an employee approached me to help me find a product even when I didn't ask for help! The store is in Richardson, right off Spring Valley Rd. Parking at the store is funny because it wraps around the store so if you buy lots of food, take into consideration where you parked because parking is a little funny. This is the primary reason I have it 4 stars because the parking lot isn't the best.. Overall, this is a wonderful store and I would definitely recommend for you to come here!

I was looking for a butcher in the area and Googled to find this wonderful little store. I loved it the moment I walked in. I went straight to the meat section and looked around. I was there for chicken but wanted to see all the store had to offer. I was impressed. I can finally get lamb, fresh ground lamb! I said to myself, I will definitely be back. I looked around some more before coming back to pick out the chicken that I wanted. I chose a whole chicken and asked the gentleman behind the counter to cut it into pieces for me. He obliged. I didn't get any of the hot food that was available but I certainly smelled the sweet aromas coming from over there. When I was in the check out line, a young lady was behind me raving about how she was just in the store on last night. Whatever she was buying, she ate all of it and was back to purchase more. I love hearing that. That's confirmation for me to go back and explore more. Sara's will be seeing me again and again.

New to Dallas and I'm in a constant state of "craving middle eastern/'Mediterranean." I have fallen madly in love with Lebanese food specifically. Here, I was thankfully able to find such a GREAT variety of fresh produce, grains, and legumes. I'm usually skeptical of mom and pop grocery meats but the meat department here looked too notch. Maybe I'll grab me some lamb next visit! Produce selection is great and everything looks fresh! Hard to find in smaller grocery stores. I was thoroughly impressed by the quality! Grabbed plenty of parsley, herbs (dill and basil), Persian cucumber, tomatoes, and other veggies. Also grabbed plenty of lentils and couscous, ful (canned fava bean), kalamata olives, fresh pita (made on site), lebneh, and some spices (love sumac!) walked away paying such a fair price for all I got! Happy I found this gem and will definitely be back.

Best Kefta in dallas, this place is a jewel. If you like Lebanese or Greek flavors, you are in for a treat.

Love coming into this store. The produce is perfect. The grocery section is extremely well stocked and spotless. I appreciate the large selection of Middle Eastern staples. I always have multiple options to chose from. I make a special trip, well out of my way, to stock up on staples as well as special treats. The staff are polite and helpful. Even on a busy Sunday before Ramadan, I had no trouble getting in and out with a major haul!

There was plenty of parking outside and conveniently off Sherman And Spring Valley away from the traffic. We were greeted by a few staff members as we went inside. Inside was very spacious, clean, and organized. I was impressed with the variety of meats they had and the different cuts. They had at least 6-7 different types of steak. They also have a grill where you can get food cooked fresh to go. We ordered the beef tenderloin kabob along with the shish tawook. Both were excellent. The tenderloin kabob has to be some of the best beef kabobs I have ever had. I will definitely come back if I am in the area. Highly recommend if you are looking for meat or even something grilled.

Trusted by Central Market for pita among others. Skip the CM and just go to Sara's. The best lamb and other meats. Texas grass fed lamb. Don't feel like cooking walk to the back and order anything. The food here is just fantastic. Love this store.

The gyro platter and the pecan pie (surprise!) were excellent! I also picked up a little tub of the best hummus I've ever had. I want more! Service with a smile!
