"At Sauced, an East Village natural wine bar that started in Williamsburg, you don’t get a menu. Instead, your server asks you about your mood and what you generally drink. And if you like a bar filled with people who caption Instagram posts with “aesthetic AF” and describe their taste in music as “vibey,” you’ll probably be in a good mood. Start in the front, grab some snacks (they often host pop-ups, so check their Instagram), and sip on something funky. When you start to feel the additive-free buzz, head towards the back, which has red neon lights, a DJ booth, and a small room with a vertical, weight-bearing pole in it. If you want to avoid crowds, come early, or prepare to lightly nudge your way to the bar. photo credit: Sauced" - Will Hartman
"The wine bar Sauced (47 Second Avenue, near East Third Street) will host a pop-up for the taqueria's carnitas on Monday, April 1 as a preview before the new restaurant opens." - Luke Fortney
"Sauced, the Williamsburg wine bar, opened a 50-seat Manhattan sibling with an L-shaped bar and a burlesque pole; the location takes walk-ins with no reservations and notably has no wine list." - Emma Orlow
"Brooklyn’s popular Sauced wine bar debuts in Manhattan this evening. Owners Damien del Rio and Vincent Marino are opening their second location on March 12 at 47 Second Avenue, near East Third Street, in the East Village. The 50-seat wine bar is bigger than the original. It has an L-shaped bar, a burlesque pole, and, in a breath of fresh air: no reservations. Like at Sauced in Brooklyn, there’s no wine list; it’s a conversation." - Luke Fortney
"I learned Sauced, a Williamsburg wine bar that feels like a bit of a party with Champagne guns, is opening a new spot at 47 Second Avenue near East Third Street, and a spokesperson says the project is targeting March 2023." - Emma Orlow
