An Eater’s Guide to the Best Food and Wine in Idaho’s Snake River Valley | Eater
"A family-rooted label established by a vintner who began planting vines in 2014 on volcanic-rich, century-old farmland; the sleek Boise tasting room has a modern design and attracts relaxed locals who linger over chardonnay and estate merlot." - Amanda Gabriele
I always enjoy Skoria wine, even though the Boise downtown tasting room is hidden and difficult to find. My favorite part of the tasting is Debbie. She is so knowledgeable about the different varieties, timely and kind. She is great with suggestions and always seems happy to be enjoying the experience the guest. Thank you for recommending the Rose.

Stopped by Scoria with some girlfriends during a long weekend in Boise. Was not disappointed! Great wine tasting and very cool, hip atmosphere. It was definitely a cool vibe and experience for a girls night out. You should definitely stop by and have a drink if you are in the area.

We enjoy coming to Scoria downtown for a tasting or glass! Vibes are super chill and modern, and they have some great wines with grapes mostly from their own vineyards. Fun spot to meet some friends, read, play cards, or just try some good local wine in downtown Boise. Service was great as well and we learned a lot about the wine.

Fantastic wine and ambiance! We loved the classy interior and will be back whenever we’re in town. Kim was very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the wines. P.S. The wine tasting room was located correctly on google maps but the walking directions sent us to the wrong side of the street. The winery is actually next door to the ā café restaurant.

The wine is amazing. However we went in tonight at 6:45 and were made to feel like crap from Debbie because she wanted to leave at 7. Great winery and wine making but Debbie gets negative stars for us as members.

Scoria is hands down the best Winery in the Boise area. I love the team, the wines & both tasting rooms.
I am a member of this wine club which has worked out great. I pick up at the 10th & Main location. It is 2 bottles every other month so a very manageable amount! I LOVE Scoria's Petit Verdot and Rose.
Love popping in for a tasting! You guys are the best! Cheers!

Definitely one of my favorite wineries in Idaho. Kim went from serving just me to 20 more people without missing a beat. This was my first time at the Boise tasting room and I will be back even though I live around the corner from their Caldwell tasting room (which I also love!). The Petit Verdot is my personal favorite but I prefer dry red wines that turn your mouth inside out.

Yelp
We found this place while we were on vacation. Great reds and amazing service! If I'm ever back in the area, I'll come back.

Yelp
Best reds in the Valley!!! Always friendly service! We are happy to be members and always look forward to our shipments. The tasting room is pretty small so a reservation might be recommended, but has a cool black modern artistic vibe. There's not much for cell service out there (but we kind of like it that way).

Yelp
We were visiting from out of town and looking to find a place to do some wine tasting. We found Scoria tasting room in downtown Boise and decided to give it a try. My were we impressed with the place and the wines! The price point was very reasonable for the quality of the wines and the staff was really friendly and knowledgeable. The tasting room is very modern and clean. If we lived in the area we would definitely sign up as members. Give this place a try, you will not be disappointed!

Yelp
The Scoria family has decided to bring their great wine to us in Boise on 10th street. We are lucky to have them here. My wife and I are biased with this addition as we have been members of their wine club for a while. We now have the ability to join their wine locally.
The tasting room is very clean and contemporary with plenty of seating for a handful of groups. The owners are very friendly and helpful to anybody that walks through their doors.
We ordered a few glasses of wine and enjoyed a conversation with the owner. She provided us with the latest information about their expansion and latest Malbec.
Tasting room options are limited to wine, water, and comfortable seating. I would suggest grabbing food before sitting down for glass/bottle of wine.
I definitely recommend this place for a great glass/bottle of wine. We look forward to a future glass of wine at this new tasting room.
Cheers Always!

Yelp
We really enjoyed the wine tasting experience in downtown Boise. Friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable. The space is beautiful. And the wines are excellent and the story behind the winery, its beginnings, the winemaker/owner is excellent as well. Well worth the visit (s). Yes, we did bring some home with us.
