I was looking for a special restaurant in dumbo area for dinner and lucky I made the right choice here. I reserved the table few days before hand. I ordered the two “Reel Deal”, Blue Catfish and sesame tuna with Brussels bacon and rice. Fish was fresh and good but just little salty to my taste. Tuna was very nice. I really liked the Brussels. Very tasty. Ordered half dozen oysters but not the kind I liked. Service was great. All servers were happy and very attentive.

Stopped in for a birthday dinner. Food was excellent. Plenty of seating when we were there - likely due to the holiday. The manager came by to make sure our meals were satisfactory. We had appetizers, main course, dessert, and drinks to celebrate a birthday. All are great. Lobster roll was excellent. The calamari was good (and I'm typically not a fan). For a main course I had scallops which were delicious. And for dessert they brought the birthday girl the churro ice cream sandwich which was also great. Would definitely recommend this location. One of our party spoke highly of his previous trip to this spot. And our experience was just as great.

The food and service are really great here. We came here almost every week since dumbo’s couple good restaurants are closed for lunch. Really want to support them more to keep the good and quality restaurants still alive in our neighborhood. I love their sesame tuna, very tasty, and the rice is fantastic.

Came here for brunch and the food was very good! The fries were fresh and the sauce was homemade, the fish was also fresh and the portion was generous. The bottomless brunch drinks option was great and they have a few options of drinks!

Wonderful menu and dishes. The wait staff were clearly very proud of their dishes. Highly recommended. The only thing it lacks is the water view, but in my opinion this place is worth the visit. Don’t get sucked into those tourist traps off the river. Come here :)

Food is great and the Servers were very kind and quick to check on us. Oysters came out quickly after requesting them! I ordered the Smash Burger and my wife ordered the Sesame Seared Tuna! Took about 10 mins for the food to come but they tasted fantastic and the presentation was great! I highly recommend if you looking for a bite and drink while viewing the Brooklyn Bridge in DUMBO!

A nice restaurant to go to if you don’t want to eat at the Time Out food court. I’m mostly a pescatarian so I prefer Seamore’s than the food court. Price is decent and portion is decent. Very good food.

Not bad restaurant in this area. There weren't many people in there so the waiter paid a lot of attention to us(in a good way). The food is not great, but good. Scallops was really delicious. And their fish tacos was nice.

Completely fanstasic!! I ate so fast I didn't get photos. The coconut shrimp was so good I didn't even share with my husband. We sat at the bar and Evelyn took amazing care of us. It is a cozy and welcoming place with warmth - both from people and atmosphere. Cannot wait to return

Stopped in for happy hour, which is from 3-6 weekdays. Very cute restaurant and when we arrived service was friendly and it wasn't very busy. We got oysters ($1.50 on HH and delicious!) highly recommend! Then I got the "reel deal" with black bass and my boyfriend got the sesame crusted seared tuna. Once we had orders in, service did slow down a lot. We had empty glasses for about a half hour and it was still pretty empty in the restaurant. It's not terrible, but definitely could be seen as an opportunity to improve. My black bass was wonderful. The seared tuna wasn't really seared-- it was a bit on the well done side on both sides, more like a normal tuna steak. Overall service was pretty friendly, ambience is nice and the food is good. Could have been a bit more efficient, but maybe it was a one off.

Excellent fish n chips and a spicy margarita. Excellent service from the staff. Can't wait to return.

Good food, great service, cool ambiance. Sat by the window and people watched. Will definitely be back when visiting Brooklyn again.

Stumbled upon this restaurant on our way to take a picture at the iconic spot in Dumbo. We were excited to sit inside in a restaurant with AC and definitely cooled down. Everything we ate was so delicious. We had the fish and chips which were crunchy yet not oily and fish was not dry at all and the miso salmon which was cooked perfectly and was a very hearty portion. The crispy rice yellowtail which was a great starter along with calamari. Our server was very attentive even though they were super busy. We could see him hustling the entire time

A good lunch option with fast service for those stopping by during work. Have visited before and saw it more as a longer-visit place but either times have evolved or we got lucky. Service was great, could tell they were used to folks in a rush. 'Reel deal' menu options were good staples with well-cooked and seasoned vegetables. Better than expected, more expensive than other comparable options but touristy area with limited restaurant options.

The food here is delicious. It was delightful eating here for the first time. I liked their presentation of some of the dishes. The service is quick. The ambiance was causal, with great back music. Only complaint is the apple desert tasted like apple sauce on top of phyllo dough instead of a pie unfortunately. I wish they had better desserts.

Went for happy hour on a Thursday, it was pretty empty for the first hour. The service was great, the staff friendly, and the food was pretty tasty. The oysters, cauliflower, and crunchy rice with salmon were banging. The wine selection was pretty great and the cocktails seemed legit. The only real issue was the lack of AC in the midst of a heatwave. So my favortie was definately the crunchy rice and I will definately come back to sample some of the bigger plates.

My favorite brunch spot in Dumbo for a reasonably priced, consistently delicious meal! Also love just popping by for a drink and a little snack like the crispy rice. Servers have also been great about my gluten allergy! Very knowledgeable about the menu.

I adore this place. We had Scarlet as a server and she was beyond helpful and charismatic. I had an incredible brunch with my family this week. The food was insane; Moreover, the bloody mary's were SO GOOD.... I cannot recommend this place more. Also, the manger Ray, genuinely cared about our experience. WHAT A GOOD TIME!!!

Fresh and flavorful food! Thought all the seafood tasted great and loved how many veggies are included throughout the menu. Firecracker cauliflower and the brussel sprout salad were hits. There's definitely something on here for everyone. We sat inside and I thought the decor and ambiance was fairly nice and relaxed. The service was a little slow at times, but it was a good experience overall.

- 4/4, service was a bit slow and not proactive (if I could, I'd give this place 4.5 for the good food, but lost points for the service) - Food was pretty good. I thought for the pricing, it was rather high quality. We came for lunch and an entree wouldn't have been enough, strongly recommend getting an appetizer too - Portions are about average, maybe on the lower end, but nothing of concern to its rating

Everything we had was very yummy!! It's a breath of fresh air to go out for dinner and try a new place and the food is amazing and taste fresh. - clam chowder is a must! - lobster roll and fries were delish - fish tacos were excellent Can't wait to come back and try the lobster Mac !

We stumbled across this place and it was super cute and friendly! The host let us know about the specials and we got the seasonal margarita, it was delicious. The poke was great and fresh! The salmon was good and the skin was crisped perfectly! Highly recommend this spot

Seafood and Live Jazz on Tuesday's in Brooklyn? Sign me up! Service was great. A little empty, but a great spot boardering the Time Out Market in Dumbo. I got the daily fish (Hake) with chimchurri sauce, cauliflower spaetzel and creamed spinach. Fish was flaky, firm, and the sauce was a great compliment. You throw live music at me anywhere and I'm sold! Ambiance was phenomenal! This spot is perfect for a date night with the candlelit settings and music!

The Lobster Roll was great, as well as q beer. I liked the atmosphere and would visit this place again. They have some nice Happy Hour proposal. The service is also relatively fast.

This area is too cute. On a spring day, we walked around DUMBO and settled on this Seamores. Easy flowing and no waiting made it easy to step in for dinner. We decided to order the Firecracker cauliflower and New England Clam Chowder as an appetizer, and it was delicious. For the entree, we decided to share the Lobster Mac and Cheese. The service was great, and every bite was delightful. It was hard to choose between the Firecracker cauliflower and the Lobster Mac and cheese because they were both so good! I definitely want to try and make both for dinner at home. It was the best decision to share the Lobster Mac and cheese because the portion was very generous. It definitely was a good size to share for two. The Firecracker cauliflower had an interesting texture and flavor. It tasted like they deep fried it and then added the glazed flavor. I was impressed that the inside was cooked through, and the outside tasted nice and crunchy. Yum! See you soon, Seamores!

I visited for a group business dinner; our table was already ready when we got there, but we stood around and enjoyed drinks before we sat. The bartender was very speedy and did a great job (though some colleagues were disappointed by the lack of 'common' beers like Coors Light). The food was all lovely and the service was too. I would describe this as a very typical hipster place with uncomfortable seats, but overall it was good.

Seamores has been a staple restaurant for my family and I due to both the food and service. We love seafood so we get both the salmon and tuna crispy rices, which are impeccable. We also order the coconut shrimp which are perfectly cooked and paired with a sweet tropical dipping sauce. The crispy fish tacos, which we typically order with a side of chips and guac, are delicious, the fish, perfectly flaky and flavorful. The lobster mac and cheese is exactly what you want it to be---decadent, creamy, and full of large chunks of tender lobster. We recently tried the miso glazed salmon, which fired on all cylinders, and surprisingly, the ginger scallion rice was the star of this dish. The 'reel deal' we get is broccoli with almond pesto and scallops with red curry sauce. This is so good that it converted me---a former scallop hater to a scallop lover. The pesto on the broccolini perfectly compliments the natural salinity and freshness of the scallops. Of course, we have to get dessert and the churro ice cream sandwich is a showstopper (especially since I'm not typically a fan of churros). The salted caramel ice cream balances the sweetness and fluffiness of the churro. I have nothing bad to say about this establishment, and it has become a tradition that whenever my daughter comes back from college, we take her out to Seamores! The quality and freshness of the seafood is consistent each and every time and keeps us coming back!

It's a nice spot with some interesting drinks. I thought the fish tacos were a little light on the fish and a little hard to eat based on how they were made, though they were tasty.

Honestly didn't know this location existed until I came across it when searching for local trivia night spots! I've been to a couple of the other Seamore's locations and love going for happy hour, so decided this would be a fun spot to check out their trivia night! I just had snacks and drinks here so didn't have a full meal but it was a great time. Solid fries and good selection of beers (plus seasonal beer on draft). Pricey but that's like everywhere in New York so can't hold them to that. Would definitely come back for trivia night -- it's a fun vibe in the downstairs area and was a great time!

Amazingly beautiful place very casual excellent food outstanding service ,this place is in the middle of the action in the area of Dumbo beside the Brooklyn Bridge, and very popular with a lot of tourist but it is well priced very good situated, our driver recommended to come here and he was right. This place is unique and if you're ever in any area, you should come and make sure Sarah is your attendant.

We came here on a rainy weekend and had the whole restaurant to ourselves. It was honestly great as the waiters were super attentive - maybe a little too attentive but I don't blame them since we were the only ones there, haha. I ordered the fish and chips and the lobster eggs benedict. The fish was very crispy and flaky, super fresh, and went great with the tartar sauce. The fries were thin, just how I love my fries! As for the lobster eggs benedict, that was pretty nice and the hollandaise sauce was good too. The lobster pieces seemed fresh and sweet, although it was a bit overpowered by the egg and hollandaise sauce. It came with a lot of sweet potato fries which were cut a bit too thick for me, but it definitely filled me up. Even though it was pouring out, the food and service made it a nice afternoon!

O4/14/23: Another great Seated find. Fresh seafood one of the best Cosmos I've had in a while. Don't get me started on the clam chowder. A bit taken aback for the price and the size. BUT OMG the taste, the fresh clams, ham etc and the amount, well worth the price! I love the openness of the restaurant, spaciousness between patrons. Only complaint the seats are not the most comfortable. It gives a very beachy vibes. In some aspect Seamore gives that feel of like farm to table. Definitely food is on the healthier spectrum yet tasty. Appetizers: Oysters: definitely one of the best I've had. Enjoyed minus any accompaniment. So sweet, meaty definitely a must try. Clam Chowder: delicious, full of flavor, clams, and bacon. Close to licking the bowl to consume every last drop! Kale and avocado salad with Scallops. People the scallops expertly prepared perfect combination of taste and texture I needed more in my life. The avocado was so fresh I could consume an entire one. Buffalo Shrimp: although fried it wasn't the overly greasy taste attributed to fried foods. Unlike other places there was actual shrimp inside and you can taste the freshness. The little kick sealed the deal. Sand dollar biscuits : description had me thinking red lobster biscuits. Must say this was a disappointment. Lack flavor, bit hard and dry. Mains Catch if the day was Porgie. Fillet and I chose cauliflower mashed, cured eggplant, roasted tomatoes and green beans. As I stated it's on the healthier side. I enjoyed my Porgie not a fan of the sides, but for those whom like they would totally enjoy. My friend had the the same and his plate was totally cleaned. Blackened shrimp Tacos Didn't try but his mom totally enjoyed and it came with a side of kale salad. In reading reviews many folks mentioned Omar. Almost towards the end the Omar appeared. Seemed he was busy with a mixology class they have on Fridays. He was super engaging made sure we were content. Glad we were able to have the Omar experience. Dessert People People..the Churro Ice Cream sandwich OMG to die for. The decadence, the softness and sweetness of the churro wasn't overly sweet. This is what sweet tooth heaven is made of! Lived in the neighborhood for years and finally tried this place. Could kick myself for not trying it sooner. Scallops with Brussels sprouts was amazing. Clam chowder was perfection. The food was great and reasonably priced. Ambiance was charming. Will definitely be going back.

Food:6.5/10 I ordered the Reel deal w scallops as my waiter recommended. It was good not great. I enjoyed the scallops, but the proportions were pretty small. The dish had some asparagus and I think squash. Unfortunately, I wasn't a member of the clean plate club and did not finish the squash. Luckily, the person I ate with ordered the lobster mac and cheese and I disposed of their leftovers, the dish was great. Maybe I'm still getting used to NYC / brooklyn but the prices were high for such small dishes. Service: 7.5/10 Waiter was nice. We had a bottle of tap water so I wasn't dehydrated the whole time. Personally was not a huge fan of his rec. Looking back, I think he just said the most expensive thing on menu-_-. Was still nice and nothing to complain abt there. Ambiance: 6.5/10 We ate outside so I can't comment on the inside of the restaurant. The chairs weren't all too comfortable, and it was hot outside. Maybe that was on me for sitting outside but still not all that great. They had a little tent, but I think it made me even hotter because it blocked all of the wind. Good people watching tho, and a good location. All in all, solid restaurant. I walked back on the brooklyn bridge after so I still had a good night. However, I bet there are better restaurants in the area for sea food. My vodka lemonade was pretty solid, but they didn't have a south side(my favorite cocktail). Still a solid spot, just an average experience tbh.

The seafood was very fresh. Great walking location on water street. And service was very good. All around a solid choice for a Thursday night.

Love a good oyster bar! Fresh selection and also great appetizers in a great neighborhood

I was in Brooklyn and wanted to find a lunch spot. I walked by this place and it looked busy enough to be good. I stopped in and was seated immediately with no reservation. Both the inside and outside seating were very cute and nicely spaced. The buffalo shrimp were fried to perfection and were spicy enough- not over board! The homemade ranch was a nice touch! I was glad to see the options for the shrimp tacos were seared or fried. The seared were delicious with great toppings and sauce. The real winner was dessert!!! Stop what you're doing and go get this churro icecream sandwhich! The icecream was salted caramel and the churro was warm and delicious! Such a great meal! The dessert was honestly THE best!

We came here for dinner after visiting the Jane's Carousel nearby. This is a cavernous space by New York standard. While the Paloma cocktail was just so so, the Nicodemi Montepulciano was delightful. We started with a tasty clam chowder soup and a somewhat tart but refreshing Shaved Brussels Fennel salad (all three salads on the menu sounded tempting). I chose the fresh catch Hake on the Off the Dock Reel Deal menu, served with broccolini and cauliflower mash, and an interesting citrusy tangy lemongrass aji sauce. My dining companion had the classic Fish & Chips, actually shoestring fries. The cod-tasting fish tasted very refresh and it was prepared well. Service was a bit slow on a Saturday night rush hour but the food was delicious overall.

Hidden away but Yum, just Yum. Fresh catch striped bass amazing, tuna poke fresh and tasty. Very good service. Attentive.

Two bad experiences in a row. We sat outside couple weeks ago, service was painfully slow. But the food is delicious so we decided to give it another try. We decided to try again today and sat inside thinking it would be a better experience. It sadly was not. I believe the manager came over, didn't say hello or anything just asked if we were ready. Mind you, there were only two other tables so it was not busy. Ate our food, no sever/manager came by to check on us. We sat there for a while. I had to get up and find the manager so we could pay and leave. Not even a thank you or how was our meal. Did not feel welcomed at all. Sad because the food really is good, but I'll take my business elsewhere.

Picked up lunch from here on multiple occasions and the tacos + mac and cheese are yummy! Can't say I've ever had 2 tacos fill me up, but they were good. The restaurant staff are warm and friendly, ensuring that while I waited, I was comfortable. The waitress offered me water while I waited for my food. I'd have to visit as a diner for an exceptional review, but I do think this is a good addition to the community.

This review is SOLY for the Oyster Shucking & Wine Pairing class. This was a rescheduled class as it was supposed to take place Saturday. It was such a good time and perfect date night activity. Perfect for both beginners and those who have shucked oysters before. Each party gets 12 oysters (3 oyster per type). They are paired with 4 wines. I wish they offered bottles of the wine for sale. The instructor was super friendly and knowledgeable. Was great to get to know about oysters, especially on the east coast. The instructors and staff would help you shuck if you were strongly and personally visited each table. I had a great time and would recommend it to switch your date night.

Two reasons to make your way to Seamore's Dumbo: 1) excellent food 2) Omar. If you're lucky to have him as your server, then jackpot. I've passed by Seamore's a gazillion times and was aware of their multiple locations in Manhattan. Looking to grab a late lunch/early dinner, some of our other choices just didn't work out. Enter Seamore's. Not only were they serving brunch, but also their all day food menu. Don't get me wrong, I love eggs for a somewhat early brunch, but when it gets later, I seek something more substantial. The majority of the menu was seafood based. And I couldn't be more thrilled. We sat outside under the heat lamps but inside was charming and quaint. This place was popular. There was a nice variety of choices on the menu--from tacos and soups to sandwiches and mains. Our server, Omar, was extremely helpful, charming, attentive and friendly adding suggestions when necessary. We started off by splitting the Grilled Shrimp Taco which were 2 fairly larger than some other tacos I've had recently. We swiapped corn tortilla in lieu of flour. This was served with a teeny side of Slaw and delicious. For main, we both selected the Blackened Monkfish Sandwich. Served on a lightly toasted brioche bun, this excellent dish came with either a side of fries or salad. Guess what I chose? The Fries. The fish was Blackened and cooked to perfection. A smear of dill mayo with cucumbers was added to the fish. It was accompanied by more Cole Slaw along with the generous basket of fries. Oh, there's also the option of Sweet Potato fries which was very good. To wash all this deliciousness down, we selected the Apple Pickin' seasonal cocktail. This cocktail was like drinking Autumn in a glass. Made with Rye, Apple Cider, hint of cinnamon, bitters and Maple, it was a perfect pairing with the meal on a brisk day. Everything was executed very well. The flavors of the seasoned seafood highlighted the dish and it was easily one of the best meals I've had. Service was excellent due to Omar but overall, the staff were wonderful. I have my eye set on the Lobster Benedict for next time. Or maybe the Lobster Roll. Maybe the Seared Scallop with Pasta. Heck, it all looked good. Point is-- I'm returning sooner than later. Put Seamore's on your must try Dumbo restaurants.

I did the Oyster Shucking class for a friend's birthday - It was an incredible experience. They were so generous and made my friend feel very special on her birthday. The service was great, and they taught you and were there to help but let you do your own thing. The vibe was great, the entire room was just for the class. 10/10 recommend the class, especially for special events or a fun hang with friends.

I've had oyster and calamari on happy hour. It was good. Calamari not overly fried and didn't feel heavy or greasy. Happy hour drinks are also good. The atmosphere is cozy but not too much. Servers are nice and attentive but not in your face.

This local DUMBO spot is one of my favorites - whether oyster happy hour or dinner, or brunch - it's well managed and service is usually great! Their mission is to be as sustainable a biz as possible & that's a big factor of why I like it so much - aside from the delicious food (I'm a vegan who eats bivalves and there are tons of vegan options - plus oysters and scallops etc for the bivalvegans like me) - also learning to like kale thanks to the kale avo salad

My sis and brother in law selected this venue for a small private gathering. The staff allowed us to drop things off the day prior and earlier in the day of our gathering. They set the room up for us, provided impeccable service and were absolutely courteous, friendly, on time and extremely attentive! They never rushed us and patiently served us throughout our entire event. The food was to die for!!! Appetizers including salad, tuna avocado and calamari were all THE BEST! The kids meals were perfect! Our shared plates were even better!! Perfectly cooked juicy cheesy sliders, fish tacos with just the right amount of fish, garnishes and jalapeños, sweet potato veggie omelette casserole was different and tasty as well. All was simply amazing and I see why they chose this venue. The place is super cute, trendy, with a cool vibe and staff. large enough for small gatherings and they have a large area on the lower level similar to a pub setting which is super cool and unique for Dumbo. Matter of fact-my sis is thinking of celebrating another event next month for a much larger crowd in the downstairs Area. They also have a large outdoor area! Tent Thanks Seamores for a wonderful day!! Ray and the rest of the staff, was / were absolutely fabulous!! Oh and the place is clean and covid safe. Came here right after getting engaged at the Brooklyn Bridge. It was so cute and quaint. A perfect table for 2 seated by the window, with the MOST DELICIOUS bottomless Bellinis. The lobster roll and clam chowder were both full of flavor. Thank you Seamore's for such a magical day :)

My daughter wanted to meet her friend here so the other Mom and I decided to grab lunch together as well. I cannot rave about this place enough. I emailed to request a reservation and they were so helpful from the start. My daughter and I arrived early and the hostess made sure the tables were acceptable. Everyone enjoyed the food (I had the avocado toast which was unbelievably delicious and beautifully presented!) and the ambiance was great. Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful from reservation to checkout. Highly recommend.

I attended Mixology with the Masters with my girlfriends on 9/22 and instantly had the warmest welcome from Omar, Ziggy, and Andrew! This class was amazing teaching us how to make 1) Rye & Orchard 2) Grapefruit Rose Spritz 3) Blood Orange Margarita Omar's knowledge of creating the perfect cocktail truly showed because I loved all 3! Making it from scratch made it an awesome experience! Food & ambiance was amazing !! Music was 10/10 . Chef Gustavo made the best churro with ice cream that I am still thinking about lol!!! Thank you again Omar, Ziggy, Andrew, and Chef Gustavo 1000% recommend!!!! We will be coming back for sure!!!

Seamore's is my go-to spot for seafood. The tuna poke is always fresh and delicious--my absolute favorite. The playlist rocks, and the staff is attentive and friendly. I can't wait to watch football at the Hull during the football season. Seamore's nails it every time.

Wonderful service and incredible experience! I highly recommend for weekend brunch. The food was so so good. Our table of 5 had some food modifications and our server Jervis was so welcoming and gracious with our specific dietary needs. The restaurant was upscale and appealing, not pretentious. The quality of the food was very high, and there were so many good menu options it was hard to pick one thing! I recommend the fontina egg scramble, the kale and avocado salad, and the lobster roll. For dessert, the key lime cheesecake was exquisite, but the churro sandwich was to die for! The manager Omar came out to check on us and saw that we were celebrating and made our birthday girl feel even more special and pampered. Just go!

It was really rough coming to eat here for brunch the other week. To start with my review, our server at first seemed very inattentive and kind of scatterbrained. She must've thought we bonded or something, because at one point she actually told us that she was tipsy to the point of drunk, thanks to shots other customers in the restaurant we're giving her. It was very uncomfortable and then with the little to no service we got from her, the rest of our stay wasn't enjoyable. We ordered the $25 mimosa pitcher, which was a bottle of champagne and only one glass of juice. We really had to be stingy with the juice seeing as we hardly saw our server. For food, we asked a bus girl what is good/what should we order. After suggesting the lobster rolls that we weren't feeling at the moment, She suggested the tacos. I went with the Baja Fish tacos and my friend picked the Chicken Fajita tacos. They were good but like just okay good. If these are some of the best things on the menu I am worried for the place. We also ordered a side of fries, it was almost criminal that those fries were $8!!!! They were the best thing we had though so I didn't care. I was going to come back for dinner to get more seafood another time but god. After this experience, I think I'm good.

These are some of the best tacos I've ever had. I'm not exaggerating. The freshness, and flavor was all there. I'm always nervous when ordering shrimp that it's going to taste too fishy or not cooked properly but these people surpassed my test. I can't wait to come back because I've been craving them again since. I did also order a margarita and it was just a perfect combo!

The waiter recommended, of all things, the burger. My husband kindly shared the world's best french fries. He said the burger was amazing. I had the seafood dish that had a squash, caper side dish, and asparagus. Strong recommendation. the service was definitely better than adequate, knowing what was needed before asked.

Decent seafood in a cute store in a cute neighborhood. I went with friends on a super low-key Monday night for dinner. The sangria pitchers felt weak and flavored mostly with gratuitous amount of cinnamon that left a strange aftertaste. I wasn't really looking to drink much, so it worked out for me, but I would order a different drink (and they do carry a decent selection). We had the General Tso's cauliflower for appetizer. It was well-fried and, while not a showstopper, a good can't-go-wrong option. The tuna poke was inventive. While I can't attest to the authenticity of the poke, the tuna chunks inside tasted fresh, not too fishy, and the whole thing was enveloped in strong sesame oil flavor. All the avocados looked so fresh. It was a little difficult to eat the poke gracefully with the chips, though. The blackened shrimp taco was good as well. A good punch of heat from the jalapeños and freshness of the pico went well with the shrimp. I saw there were mixed opinions about the mac n cheese. Personally, I felt it was a decent amount of lobster in the dish and the cheese sauce was yummy, not too overpowering. But if you're used to eating mac n cheese that is salty, tangy, very seasoned-- this was not that. The flavors are more subdued. The same creamy cheese sauce was on the blackened shrimp nachos, and I felt it worked well on both dishes. The tuna pesto pasta was surprisingly good as well. Not too fishy but also not too herby as if we were masking the fish in herbs. The focus was on the nuttiness of the pesto. The service gave me mixed feelings. We were late for our reservation and the restaurant was very accommodating (not that the place was very crowded). However, the host/server kept making comments about how half our party came later than expected. I also say host/server because it seemed like one or two people were pulling multiple jobs at a time-- going back and forth between doing checks at the entrance, serving people in the outdoor seating area, grabbing the bill and the card machine, etc.. This made the service very slow. But they were friendly and served with a smile. Maybe it was just a weird time since I'm sure the weekend services are busier and would be staffed better.

I walked in mid afternoon without a reservation and was able to be seated right away. Service was prompt and attentive but not pushy. Food was excellent. I would go back.
