"Sushi of the highest order can be had at either of Seito’s locations – the slick sushi house in Baldwin Park run by Jason and Sue Chin (The Monroe, Reyes Mezcaleria, The Osprey) or the swish Sand Lake spot run by Jason’s sister Jennifer and husband Eric Springer. Both restaurants are equally dedicated to impeccable service, quality sourcing, and gorgeous plating. There’s a “Roll-O-Dex” of signature rolls as well as a bevy of pièces de resistance ranging from wahoo to ora king salmon to shima aji. Lavish omakases are also offered." - Faiyaz Kara

We were introduced to Seito about 2 years ago, and absolutely loved it. Now we take our friends and family to visit and eat the amazing tasty delicious gastronomy offering. The sushi option are just out of this world, like it's flavor. And even non sushi loved end up loving the other Asian option. 💯 % Recommended

I've always had a great experience at Seito, but tonight was exceptional. The food was really the highlight on this occasion. The drinks were great, smooth and flavorful. We ordered gyoza and octopus to Starr. The gyoza were filled tho the brim and the octopus was cooked perfectly and literally felt like it hit all the flavors. We ordered the Beauty and the Beast and the Distinguish Gentleman roll. The Beauty and the Beast had a classic feel to it and was really good. The Distinguish Gentleman roll was different...it has lobster and asparagus topped with waygu and a fried jalapeño. It was so good we ordered it again. Just a great night!

This place was recommended by a friend, and it lives up to it. Located in Baldwin Park, which is a nice neighborhood, with lots of restaurants, cafes, ice cream places. Also by a lake where they have trails to walk on. Their sushi is really good, fresh, and they have quite a few options. They also have other meat options, and it's great that their ribs and steaks are from Creakstone. For appetizers or small plates, we liked the bbq edamame, as well as Tuna crispy rice. We tried the spicy tuna and beauty and the beast sushi that were both really good. We also tried the Bi bim bap, which was something different and interesting, but quite tasty and filling. The place is a little on the pricey side, but the ambience is good and the food quite tasty.

Google
The last day of our honeymoon trip in Orlando. Couldn't have asked for a better meal. We tried the Calamari and the Wagyu as appetizers. A variety of nigiris and makis, the tonkotsu ramen. Everything was absolutely amazing. Just that restaurant makes us want to come back to Orlando every year. For that quality of food you have to expect a certain price tag. But it's worth every penny. Only downside was the service, restaurant was busy but nothing crazy. Long time without seeing the server and being asked if we needed anything else. Didn't really pushed to offer anything else to drink. Would have expected more. The staff was however very friendly. Overall amazing experience, and will be back every time we're back.

Google
I recently visited Seito Sushi and had the ramen and dumplings. Both dishes were delicious! The ramen was rich and flavorful, with perfectly cooked noodles Highly recommend! on busy days like Fridays or the weekend, you’re better off getting reservation.

First time dinning here, heard great things from friends. Had the cloud sake and it was delicious, sushi was phenomenal and our server Bradley was attentive, knowledgeable, and quirky. Will definitely return!

Google
This place is so delicious. It was so good I started to take pictures and the more the food came out i completely forgot to get more pictures because it looked and tasted SO GOOD! I suggest trying anything on the menu. We tried different dishes, especially the small plates. Was not disappointed at all. The distinguished gentleman was the best sushi hands down! So flavorful and delicious . The ambiance is so pretty, very upscale. The service was impeccable. Always greeted with a smile. The establishment was so clean, it was impressive. I wish they had more locations. I would love to go!! Don’t hesitate, just go eat and enjoy!

Google
To the waiter who put a rush on the order, thank you. My first date over video was wonderful. You guys made it happen easily. A long distance date was made possible by the kind man who paid for my meal and your excellent wait staff who served us with gladness. The sushi was so delicious! We hope to come back in person sometime. The atmosphere is decadent. 💖

Yelp
Just entering the place the ambiance was casual yet sophisticated. The decor and lighting were dim that fits the atmosphere. The food was high quality. For appetizers we got the beef tartare and calamari. The beef tartare from here is one of my favorite that I've tried so far, it had a lot of flavor. Calamari also had a flavorful sauce that I also think has been one of the best sauces for calamari that I've tried. I got the sushi called the Ultimate spicy tuna , but I requested for salmon instead of tuna which they kindly did. It was really good but it also kept falling apart really easily even before dipping in soy sauce. I got a cocktail called, "All Eyes On Her" and it was so delicious and refreshing. The yuzu in the drink made it so good. If you love citrus you'll love this drink. Service was good, our waitress was really nice. Will come back to try more drinks.

Sherlin E.

Yelp
Seito Sushi does not disappoint. They had a great selection of Japanese foods and everything came out fresh and visually appetizing. Started off with drinks, I got an all eyes on her which was tart, citrusy, and lightly floral which I find to be the perfect balance. Appetizer we got the calamari which was also fresh and flavorful with a nice sauce on the side. My main I got a Chirashi which has array of sashimi on a bed of rice. Presentation across the board was great. Then ended with a chocolate lava cake and they gave a scoop of ube icecream for my bday! In terms of service our waitress was amazing, even though the food took a little while to come out she would always update us on our food!

Yelp
This is a great spot for date night. The mood is set with dark lighting and comfortable furniture. Even the chef counter is appealing for you and your significant other. The menu is fairly standard. Service can be spotty from the host stand to the seat. Definitely hit and miss there. Covid really did a number on us in this regard. Most of the pros have moved on and we're left with people that often don't really want to be there. But if you're not hip on good service, then you're going to have a wonderful time. Just be ready to wait a bit for your options. They take their time...

Danielle S.

Yelp
Everything was delicious and fresh at Seito. The ultimate spicy tuna roll was a dream and the vibes were great

Phillip B.

Yelp
Trendy setting inside and outside seating. Table service, full bar with specialty drinks. Good sushi, decent service a few offerings that look ambitious but fairly typical menu. Omakase is available and reservations are suggested. Upscale but not overpriced but not ordinary either. Really good!

Yelp
Amazing! Went here for my birthday and Seito BP made sure to make my birthday dinner memorable. Every single item ordered was perfect even the drinks. We went for the sushi tower, a few of their appetizers, kids meals, and everything was amazingly delicious. Thanks for the hospitality. The service was outstanding and very up to par with the food served here. We sat outside and the ambiance and weather were just right for a lovely evening. We will surely be back.

Yelp
Most recent update.... Went back for some late night bites... our server was absolutely fantastic. I believe his name was Chris, fast and tentative. The place was very pact but that didn't stop him from serving our party. I order the beef dumplings which were top tier spicy full of flavor crispy and really delicious. They did take my melon drink off the menu, guessing it was seasonal. They were able to recommend a lychee cocktail that was absolutely delicious the price was 16 bucks. I would definitely go back for those dumplings and give the pork ones a try.

Jasmine G.

Yelp
This is our favorite resturant in Baldwin park! I will mention that it is already pretty crowded in the evenings on the weekends, BUT it is well worth it. If you are looking for a cozy, upscale ambience with a delicious selection and trendy twist on Asian dishes I highly recommend this one! Our go-to is the spicy miso ramen and it's the perfect blend of creamy broth, pork belly and spice. We usually pair it with the distinguished gentlemen and ichigo, but we switch it up because the sushi is OH-so fresh. I also ordered the Bi Bim Bap and was not disappointed. the portions are amazing, you'll have leftovers for lunch tomorrow. We also went back and ordered the Wagyu for my fiancés birthday and the executive chef came out to present it with the certificate and everything. Compliments to the chef, and also their bartenders that provide some tasty and strong drinks. The service is impeccable and the staff makes it a point to answer any questions you have. Definitely an experience worth trying.

Yelp
When I visited Orlando for the first time this was a good pick! Loved the sushi and fried rice here and the ambiance at Baldwin park is super! Would definitely recommend for sushi lovers! The service was busy but good

Nadine A.

Yelp
I wish I took a picture of the fried chicken appetizer but we ate it so quickly I forgot, it was absolutely delicious! It wasn't super oily and the chicken was crunchy and cooked perfectly. I got the spicy tuna roll and loved that as well. We came in around 4pm without a reservation and they sat us right away. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful. Absolutely love the ambiance! Our service was great as well m, he checked up on us constantly and made sure we had everything we needed. I will be back!

Yelp
Had a tasty bite at the yelp noir event. Salmon sushi hand roll. Very fresh salmon mixed with a voodoo sauce which has Heinz's 57, Worcester sauce honey, cayenne, curry, coriander, garlic Onion, chilli powder and liquid smoke all whipped up to make a flavor and perfect sauce to mix the salmon in. Delicious light bite. Liked that he took the time to speak and video him. Inviting table.

Mark S.

Yelp
Wow - great place I should've visited much sooner. Amazing interior design and bigger than it looks from outside. Good selection of food items - calamari and mushrooms were excellent. The rolls are amazing and among the city's best and the A5 (though pricey) made this "dinner and a show". Will be back.

Yelp
Been to the Sand Lake location a handful of times and finally made my way to the Baldwin one - Just like the one I'm familiar with, it did not disappoint! I love the ambiance at Sand Lake and didn't think it could be topped, but to my surprise, I found the elegance here was turned up just a notch. Very sexy/sultry vibe, lighting is more dim and it feels a tad more upscale. We arrived at our reservation time and were promptly seated at a booth (I requested one and it was granted) near the sushi bar area and our server came by shortly to take our drink order (glass of Cabernet and dirty martini) - Zero complaints about either. While looking over the menu, our easiest selection to make was the truffle edamame (our go to; the truffle was very prominent and so yummy) and a bowl of miso soup each (very good; hard to mess that one up). But moving onto what we really came here for.. The SUSHI! Pacific Woods (4.5/5): SO delicious - The truffle ponzu elevated this roll and the mushroom duxelles was such an interesting twist that worked here. Loved the bit of garlic and chives on top (two of my favorite things). XO Roll (4/5): This roll was great and if it was the only one I had tried that evening, I would have been completely satisfied, but the only reason I give it a 4 is because the other 2 we ordered outshined it. The snow crab tasted very fresh and loved the scallop on top! Tropic Thunder (5/5): The show stealer! Absolutely AMAZINGGG and possibly one of the best rolls I have had in my life. It was nothing like I've ever tasted and unique in the best way possible - Never would have thought to pair orange with coco-lime dressing but it absolutely paired beautifully and I simply couldn't get enough! It's safe to say I will be returning to this location when my next sushi craving hits. From the stunning ambiance to the attentive service to the quality/flavors of the food, everything was wonderful and memorable!

Yelp
Seriously one of the best sushi places in town! We have been to the other location off of Turkey Lake but this one is just as good if not better. The only hassle with this location is parking just due to the fact it's all on the street. Inside gives you an upscale/modern Japanese vibe and the prices were reasonable. It was very busy but luckily we made reservations a few days out. The staff was friendly and we got seated right away. Our sever was very nice and attentive the whole night. We started off with some miso soups and truffle edamame that was so good we couldn't get enough. The portion size was just right so we didn't get too full before our rolls came out. Usually we order three rolls when going out and only like two of them but here they were all great. They all tasted fresh with their own unique flavors to them. Our absolute favorite was the Tropic Thunder. Seriously if you haven't been yet you're missing out!!

Simran B.

Yelp
We visited Seito on a Thursday night around 6:30pm. We didn't have a reservation, but got seated within about 20 minutes. I had been to their sand lake location before, but the menu here was pretty different! We started with an order of pork dumplings. They were good, but the sauce wasn't super flavorful and you had to really soak a dumpling in there to taste it. It was a sweet and sour sauce, and it tasted very good with the dumplings. Then, I got a chirashi which was excellent. I loved how the fish was cut up, it was the perfect size to make hand rolls using the sheets of seaweed. I also ordered 2 scallop sashimi which were cut perfectly and served over ice with some ginger and wasabi. To drink, I had their caffeine free green tea which got me SO EXCITED. I love green tea but most places don't have a decaf edition. It was delicious and served with some honey. I enjoyed this place so much! The decoration was really nice and it was dark enough to create an intimate setting without being so dark I couldn't read. If I'm in Baldwin park, I'll certainly be back to try more items from their menu.

Rossanna R.

Yelp
Excellent service and great recommendations by the waiter. food was delicious! Worth every penny! Can't wait to go back.

Tuong-Chi P.

Yelp
We admitted that we have not been here for a while. But tonight we had 2 birthdays to celebrate, so we picked Seito in Bladwin Park. We ordered a bottle of sparkling wine from Spain. The server initially intended serving our sparkling wine with... the red wine glasses, and after I insisted, she managed with the bartender to bring out some chilled flutes. For this beverage service, I should have taken one star off this visit. We had a few appertizers and the Sushi Tower. We had several rolls. Everything was tasty and looked appealing. The birthday boy and girl received each a free ice cream delivered by a manager. We called it the day (night) happily. Well, I changed this to a five-star review.

Sefa N.

Yelp
Great sushi spot! The fish is always fresh and the rolls are expertly crafted. The ambiance is cozy, perfect for a casual dinner or a quick bite. Service can be a bit slow during busy hours, but the quality of the food makes it worth the wait. Overall, a solid choice for sushi lovers!

Matthew F.

Yelp
We booked reservations at the wrong location but they still accommodated us. Gavin served us- you rock Gavin. The food also rocks

Kathryn P.

Yelp
For years living in Baldwin park this has been our go to date spot. With constantly changing specials of fresh fish there is always something new to try. With open seating in the bar area even if there is a long wait you can usually get a table. The quality is always outstanding and no matter how many times I get their sushi I never get tired of it. The ambiance is great and we love sitting outside with our dogs and the staff is always so accommodating. Seito time after time is an A+ experience.

Zac E.

Yelp
We made a reservation for Seito Sushi before a night out and had the best time. The ambience as soon as you walk in is elegant and softly lit, leading to a very cozy and intimate dining experience. The service was very friendly and informative, leading us to the food decisions we made. From start to finish, the flavors were extremely delicious and the presentation was phenomenal. The only thing we did not get to experience after filling up so quickly was the desserts, but we will definitely be returning soon to enjoy more of the menu. Overall, if you're looking for an intimate and relaxed dinner with sushi on the menu, do yourself a favor and check out Seito Sushi in Baldwin Park. You won't be disappointed!

Deanna H.

Yelp
My family and I used to love going here for the sushi happy hour. Please bring it back even if only for an hour M-Th the service has always been good considering it is always busy. Their sushi is fresh, light, and flavorful and the chef has created some unique rolls which I always appreciate. I love the interior of this restaurant. The decor and wine wall are fancy and moody. I believe it to be one of the best mid-tier pricing restaurants in the Baldwin area.

Thao T.

Yelp
We had our business meeting there at the chef's table! These are just the few dishes we had ordered! The service was excellent and attentive, manager Dainty & chef Huy are amazing! We had a table of 7 adults and 2 children and everything was great! The ambiance was cozy and comfortable with low lighting, Helped our meeting flow smoothly and everyone relaxing

Carla S.

Yelp
I came back to Seito Sushi after a few years and while the vibe and ambience was excellent the food was average. I remembered a larger maki menu but I was surprised to see less offerings and some odd combos. My friend and I ordered four rolls including the Samurai, Ichigo, Tropic Thunder and Todoroki. Our faves ( but not overly impressed) were the Samurai and Tropic Thunder. The Todoroki pieces were huge and it was challenging to eat. We felt like we needed utensils. The A La Carte Nigiri offerings were the stars of the night. The torched salmon and Fun Manchu-Toro were exquisite. These are ordered by the piece, so it was gone in one bite. As I said earlier, the service and ambiance was fantastic. The restaurant is beautiful with main dining, bar and lounge areas. Music was upbeat. Overall, I'm not sure I'll come back soon. Maybe I'll give it another try, however a good sushi selection is important for me and I didn't find it here.

Jennifer S.

Yelp
It's taken awhile, but Baldwin park area is slowly growing on me as well as it's culinary options. First and foremost, I would highly recommend making a reservation here. We arrived at 5 (when they open) and noticed people weren't able to be accommodated right away without a reservation. The interior offers a warm atmosphere with cute little table lamps for more lighting. The food was great! The garlic edamame so sooo good and had the perfect amount of flavor. I would highly recommend the oyster "salad" with tofu, however I love spicy and ordered a medium (second on the hot list) and any more spice would probably make it too overwhelming. I was looking for a refreshing sushi roll and ordered the Tropic thunder and was not disappointed at all! Definitely will be going back!

Emily B.

Yelp
This was a great date night spot! I loved how intimate it felt and really enjoyed everything that we ordered. Our waitress was also very engaging and sweet. I got the king salmon set with a piece of unagi freshwater eel while my boyfriend got the harmony roll and the faroe island salmon risotto (not pictured). Not gonna lie, his dish was probably my favorite next to the tuna crispy rice appetizer. I definitely recommend these two dishes - very flavorful. The king salmon set was fine but not the best salmon that I've ever had. Overall, it's decent for the price that you pay.

Kaley J.

Yelp
I love coming to Sesto! There is lots of space with the option to sit at the bar inside. We came here for an early dinner and had a good time. Service was pretty slow unfortunately but we still enjoyed ourselves. Ask for the Roll-o-Dex menu for more sushi options!! A lot of their rolls are pretty expensive but they do have cheaper options on the other menu! I had the volcano roll & ichiban roll - yum!

Amanda B.

Yelp
I had such a romantic evening with my partner at this gorgeous, intimate restaurant. The servers are kind and knowledgeable. The sushi was on point too!

Tiffany A.

Yelp
Nice ambiance, it's like a modern Asian vibe. Service was good, food and drinks were good. My favorite, hands down were the delicious oysters. I wasn't really a fan of the Jamaican me crazy sushi roll, it was a bit dry and lacked flavor, but everything else was good. I'd come back.

Anna L.

Yelp
5 star update because I just had the most incredible dinner at Seito in Baldwin Park and the world needs to know! Wow, Chef Huy Tin is really doing something special here. I love that there are new things to try just about every time I visit and I'm going to let you in on a little secret... I hardly ever get actual sushi rolls at Seito Sushi, haha. I just can't get enough of their small plates, specialty nigiri, and their meat & seafood dishes. The szechuan beef dumplings will forever be my favorite and I hope those never go away (because I'll cry). They're perfectly spicy and everything a dumpling should be. We also decided to try the roasted bone marrow this last time which is served with a bourbon shallot jam, soft boiled egg (onsen tamago) & ciabatta. Dang, melts your mouth like butter! We started with one of their newer cocktails called the "Melon Mami" (play on umami) which is made with coconut washed rum, sake, and honeydew melon. This drink is phenomenal and I'm officially obsessed. It's so refreshing but still packs a punch... shout-out to Lorena for knocking this one out of the park! Under the mains, I'd highly recommend the crispy whole fish which is great for sharing. It comes scored already so it's easy to separate from the bones. It was yellowtail snapper the night we had it, but the type of fish does change depending on size & quality. It comes with bibb lettuce on the side so you can make about 6-8 little lettuce wraps out of it -- SO GOOD! Now on to the the nigiri which I'm most excited about! Seito recently added a "Chef's Creations" section to the menu and let me tell you right now to go ahead and just order literally everything from this section. This is where you'll find the Kanpachi Crispy Rice, which they debuted at Yelp's Disco Jungle earlier this month (IYKYK). That's right -- this bite was so popular at the event, they added it to their menu whaaaaat?! You absolutely do not want to miss the Torched BBQ Salmon and the Fu-Manchu Toro nigiri. Trust me, you'll want to order double. We also loved the G6 (A5 Miyazaki wagyu, caviar, black truffle...omg) and the Smoked Hamachi which has a beautiful presentation. Clearly, we were wayyyy too stuffed for dessert, but I'm still dreaming about this meal almost a week later and already thinking about when I can do it all over again. Run, don't walk y'all!

Roberto P.

Yelp
Always a great time. Food, service and ambiance; Seito Baldwin Park never disappoints.

Michael C.

Yelp
Had to come back and update my review of Seito because I had one of the most satisfying meals that I've ever had there. When I left the restaurant, I was honestly already plotting my next visit. When I got on Yelp to see when my last review of Seito was, it was 2017 so I think it's worth revisiting since the menu has changed a lot since then. No lie, there are a handful of dishes in each section of the menu that I highly recommend trying as of the date of this review. First, the szechuan beef dumplings! They're my wife's favorite starter to order there and she'll occasionally get two orders so that I can actually have some (LOL)! One of their current cocktail specials is a must-try if you like honeydew melon: the "Melon Mami." I could have easily ordered 3-4 of them! They were light and refreshing but with a nice hint of umami flavor to it. I hope it becomes a staple there! The next rec that is semi-new is their "Roasted Bone Marrow" starter. It's so yummy and a little different from other bone marrow dishes because of the sweetness from the jam and the onsen tamago on the side. There's no wrong way to layer your slice of bread. I went: marrow, shallot jam and egg but also found myself tearing up pieces of bread to dip in the egg and scoop out a spoonful of marrow as a chaser. Absolutely HEAVENLY. After the bone marrow, we tried so many incredible bites from the "Chef's Creation" section: the Torched BBQ Salmon, the Fu Manchu-Toro, the Kanpachi Crispy Rice, the G6 and the Smoked Hamachi. I HIGHLY recommend getting these bites, especially the Torched BBQ Salmon, we got a second order of them because of how amazing they were. To close out the night, we tried the Crispy Whole Fish (from the mains section) which was a yellowtail snapper that evening and it can definitely be shared by two people. With the provided bibb lettuce, it could net you around 6 fish tacos! It was light, tender and an incredible way to end the night. I'm honestly salivating while recalling this meal and can't wait to go back again. Hoping to leave room for dessert next time because I'm sure it's phenomenal as well!

Yelp
This sushi haven seamlessly blends tradition and modernity. The expansive fish selection ensures a delightful journey for seafood enthusiasts, while the sleek, modern Japanese interior adds a sophisticated touch. Service staff is knowledgeable of the menu with suggestions for pairings of each dish. Each bite is a harmonious symphony of flavors, making it a top-tier destination for sushi connoisseurs seeking both quality and ambiance.

Annemarie B.

Yelp
We visit Seito pretty regularly, but it's been a while since I've updated my review. We've changed from 4 to 5 stars! And I think it's because of the mushrooms. The sushi is always amazing and so is the soup and salad. One thing I also love to get is the tilefish over risotto. I cleaned my plate. But the mushrooms oh my God the mushrooms. You have to try the mushrooms! We always receive excellent service at Seito and you have the choice to sit in the restaurant, bar, sushi counter, or outside. It's like a new experience every visit and it always consistent!

Kenny P.

Yelp
This was my first time trying Seito sushi and it was amazing! The ambiance is great when you walk in and are greeted by their kind hosts. While the design was nice, the real star of the show was the food!! Their sushi was great and they have a great assortment of appetizers and small plates as well. I really recommend getting the arancini balls, while it simple they were packed with flavor you have to try. I would definitely recommend Seito if you are in the area!

Cindee P.

Yelp
Super expensive, but worth it. They changed their atmosphere from a regular sushi place to a more upscale one. The tastings are unique and they have all the exotic dishes that I love like Uni, Ikura, and oysters.

Kristin S.

Yelp
Still recovering from what may have been the best sushi experience of my life. Period. I've been to plenty of restaurants that talk the talk but can't walk the walk. Essentially you end up with deflated food with inflated prices Seito is quite the opposite. After a knee-jerk decision to stop in, I found myself sitting at the sushi bar drinking sake out of a JUICE BOX eating some of the best food I've had in the few years I've been living in Orlando. Let's backtrack to that juice box full of goodness. I'm a sake fan through and through. I'll drink it hot, cold, filtered, unfiltered, in a box, with a fox....you get it....so when it comes to ordering, I'll just wing it. There were a few sake options on the happy hour menu (p.s. they have happy hour drinks 7 days a week) so I eenie meenie minie moe'd one and hoped for the best. It's called Lucky Dog and is a literal juice box full of sake. The cutest! Anyway, onto the food. They had octopus that I was beyond excited to try. If you know you know, it's the bomb.com when it's done right and this definitely was. It was tender, soft, and so flavorful. We ordered 2 sushi rolls, the Distinguished Gentleman and the Tropic Thunder. The Distinguished Gentleman was awesome but, I have to admit the truffle aioli that it was topped with really drowned out the Lobster and rock shrimp that are on the inside. The wagyu beef and truffle are definitely at the forefront of this roll. The Tropic Thunder was 5. it was light, flavorful and full of citrus notes that left you NEEDING (not wanting) another piece. Ugh. I would have ordered a second in a heartbeat if I wasn't so full lol. Our server was THE BEST. He was fun and personable and had a great demeanor which is so refreshing these days. I feel like so many servers hate their existence (I get it ya'll! Been there done that) and it makes for a terrible experience. Our server had none of that and really was the icing on the cake of our experience. Thanks Seito for being incredible across the board. Can't wait to return.

Brittany M.

Yelp
Seito Baldwin Park has so many delicious menu items that keep us coming back for more! We recently tried their tonkatsu ramen and it was the perfect dish for a chilly night in Florida the broth was hearty, pork was buttery, but crisp, and the eggs were marinated to perfection! We also had to get on of our favorite rolls "the distinguished gentleman" with wagyu beef, lobster, rock shrimp and a truffle aioli. (So freaking good).

Yohanna L.

Yelp
I really wanted some good sushi for my birthday and came across this restaurant. Since I had a party of 8, I had to call to make the reservation and they were so accommodating and helpful! From the moment we arrived at the restaurant, the service was amazing. They were very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent -- absolutely no complaints! I had the crab fried rice and my husband had the short rib fried rice... big portions and great taste. The drinks were also really good! They have a full bar, so we were able to order off the menu. Overall, great experience and the vibes were great. They played great music and we really had a good time.

Tremendous experience at Seito in Baldwin Park. The Octopus and Sashimi Sampler were a great starting place. The fish was super fresh and there was a unique Nigiri selection. The Distinguished Gentleman was one of the best sushi rolls I have ever had. The ambiance was fantastic as well. Cool vibe. Service was 10/10. Can't wait to go back.

Yelp
We love the Sand Lake location. The staff is so nice and helpful with ordering food - especially making sure it's perfect. They also know the menu so well that they can make really great recommendations for what to try. The ambiance is semi romantic at night, but it's also a great place to go eat with friends. Plus, they have some adorable artwork on the well - including some hidden Studio Ghibli artwork on the wall.

Yelp
We visited Seito on a Saturday night and our experience was 10/10! Everything we ordered was delicious, the service was top tier, and the atmosphere was very trendy. The only thing I would say is without the light at the table, it gets pretty dark (we accidentally turned it off once when moving it). We ordered the Bi Bim Bap, which was bigger than we expected, but a must get. The Distinguished Gentleman & the Pacific Woods rolls, both so different but yummy in their own way. Finally, we ordered the calamari, beef dumplings, and the garlic lime edamame. There were 4 of us and we shared everything, and we're definitely a little overstuffed walking out, but happy. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
So disappointing! If you've been to the other location and LOVE it because you love amazing sushi, do yourself a solid and just skip here. We ordered "their" version of the Kintsugi (which they stated was the same as the other location) and it was awful. They chopped the blue fin tuna to tiny bits which looses the integrity of the fish and served it w a rice risotto and CARROTS!!!! Think about this... when was the last time you ever had a roll or poke or raw fish w CARROTS. This is just a no - literally all the way. The dumplings were okay. Nothing special. And we ordered a roll w yellowtail and crab and all we tasted was Mayo. We asked that the roll go back as it was inedible. Really and truly disappointed. The server assured us that the "hot plates is where it's at". Why would that be the case as they claim to be a sushi restaurant? We were Fooled and scammed by the name- Seito SUSHI. Hard pass for me.

Yelp
Love this place! The menu always has interesting sushi and non sushi options and amazing cocktails. Our 13 year old twins also love it given great options like ramen and pot stickers (get the beef pot stickers - you won't regret it). Service was impeccable every time we've been. The ambiance is very hipand modern. I'm a repeat customer. It's expensive - but this is one of those places you get what you pay for!

Yelp
I've been here before many many times and I brought a group of friends from out of town, I was raving about seito and the food and the place. WE WERE SO LET DOWN. I went on Saturday and was seated immediately, my friend had to leave for the airport and told the waitress we ordered immediately and the food got to us so fast. My husband and I ordered a chirashi bowl one for him and one for me and it had completely 360 changed. The manager crisply brought us our plates and we looked so confused because the size has DECREASED about 3/4 !!! Yes the price went down but wow what a let down. It lacked flavor on the rice it didn't have the delicious pickled veggies it use to come with and it literally looked like a kids poke bowl at a fast food Asian place. Wooof what a letdown. When we asked the manager (a young Asian man) what happened he explained "we noticed clients we only getting the chirashi and nothing else because it was such a large portion".... My husband and I were shocked because the restaurant has large plates and yes the larger original was more expensive but it was quality and quantity. What we ate on Saturday was a joke compared to the original we always loved. Our friend got the ramen and it was not a baby bowl like ours!! FINALLY the cherry on the top was that we asked that same manager to please find out if they had the pickled okra and the veggies we loved so much as a side we would happily pay for it. He passed by multiple times gave us eye contact and never said anything!!! I do want to mention our waitress was lovely and she was kind and apologized so many times. We told her it was not her fault and we appreciate her help. However, We left unsatisfied and soooo disappointed. We unfortunately won't be returning or recommending Seito anymore. There are plenty of Asian places with great value and quality in the area.

Yelp
I haven't been in years but visited one night spontaneously with my husband. We had the best food and time together. I wanna go back so bad and I'm not sure why we haven't when we live so close. I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. I definitely want to try other things next time.

Yelp
Couldn't have asked for a better place to celebrate mine and my fiancés 10 years of dating. I put the whole night into his hands and he picked this place all on his own, I had never even heard of it. This place is so cute and had a great feeling for a special date night. It's a little loud but we could still hear each other from across the table. He booked the resi on open table and even specified that is was our anniversary; They brought us over complimentary champagne to celebrate. The service was phenomenal. We were able to ask our waiter for honest reviews, his favorite plates and recommended a great cold saki to try. For food we started with the duck bao buns - I will forever DREAM about this plate. For $35 I expected 2 buns with enough meat to taste... this was well worth the price. The duck was cooked great and the buns were perfectly fluffy. The choice of sauce was the perfect pairing. For sushi we got the distinguished gentleman, ragin Cajun and beauty and the beast. It's definitely not your normal sushi. Each roll had its over specific flavor. Each was great and very different! I'm already ready to go back... I had my eye on that ramen that was listed with an *"as supplies last"* on the menu!!! Yum

Yelp
Amazing! We've found our new date night place. The food was delicious and full of flavor! We sampled a few appetizers: ramen, beef dumplings, and calamari and then ordered the duck bao and sushi! Drinks were amazing as well. Perfect atmosphere for relaxing and listening to music as well as conversation even by the bar area! Staff was wonderful. We will be back every few weeks for sure .

Yelp
Seito is one of my favorite restaurants and I've been eating there for over eight years. The food is always delicious and there is frequently something new to try on the menu. Most of their staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. Like all of the Good Salt restaurants, the interior design is chic and modern.
