"Local chefs buy Séka Hills arbequina extra-virgin olive oil by the gallon because it’s a quality local ingredient at a price that pencils — even at high volume. Balanced and peppery, the oil is pressed from olives grown by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation and helps support the native tribe. This particular set comes with three different fruit-infused balsamic vinegars, so you’ll only be one loaf of crusty bread short of a party." - Becky Duffett

Great place, great atomosphere, great people. Beautiful, peaceful place to chill. Met Jen and Karen during my visit. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. If you are ever around Sacramento, it is worth a detour.

Google
The BEST wine and balsamic vinegars and olive oils! And there wine clubs, including their beef club have outstanding member benefits. Great wine club member parties held in Capay Valley!

I was visiting from Oregon about a month ago. The olive oil ice cream was really good

Yelp
Stopped here today during the Almond Blossom Festival and it was such a treat. Beautiful venue with really good sandwiches ( we loved the turkey one- yum), delicious olive oils and vinaigrettes- elderberry and pomegranate were amazing. They also have olive oil ice cream which is unique- not our personal favorite though. The folks here are very nice and provide attentive service, a little aggressive on the sales. I only say this because I was asking for a sample of the ice cream, as I saw a young lady give one to another customer and the lady at the register kept insinuating that I had to buy a pint or a giant scoop ( finally did get our sample). Anywho, we ended up with some Olive oil, pomegranate vinaigrette, and our sando. They also had live music, vendors and food trucks onsite. It was absolutely lovely (even with the unexpected rain)!

Yelp
Beautiful property, surrounded by an orchard of almond trees and olive trees. The Seka Hills tasting room is also absolutely gorgeous. They sell wine, olive oils, balsamic vinegar, almonds, and accessories (books, utensils, decorations, etc). Plus, there are outdoor tables where you can enjoy wines and light bites sandwiches, salads, snacks). On our visit, there were only 2 ladies at the counter who were ringing up orders as well as pouring wine for tastings. Unfortunately, this caused a bottleneck in getting orders out to those sitting outside (like us and the other tables near us) and they had a difficult time fulfilling the wine tastings (I had to ask for my 2nd pour and walked from outside to the counter inside for the 3rd and 4th pours). On the positive side, the ladies were hustling and another lady was providing olive oil/balsamic vinegar/honey tastings at a counter inside). I enjoyed the wine pours though plus the veggie sandwich and Italian sandwich were both tasty. I ended up buying 2 bottles of wine, 3 bottles of balsamic vinegar, and a bottle of olive oil.

Yelp
Good selection of wines and sharable sandwiches n charcuterie. Great knowledgeable staff, who will do local olive oil and honey tasting/demo.

Yelp
Lovely place to stop if you're in the Capay Valley for olive oil tasting, wine tasting or a nice lunch out. We ate lunch here and did also tasted delicious olive oils and balsamic vinegar. Pomegranate, fig and elderberry balsamic vinegars are all amazing! Artisan sandwiches are fabulous; made with Uber fresh ingredients and very delicious. Located almost right across Highway 16 from Cache Creek Casino and Resort.

Yelp
Wanted to explore what this place had to offer. As a first timer me and the bf went to take a trip here. As we drove up the this place I thought it had a beautiful feel to it. They also had I believed to be some olive trees and and old looking truck as we pulled in. We walked inside and started looking around a young lady approached us as she was very friendly her name was Louha. She was very knowledgeable and helped us with your wine tasting. They have many different wine clubs to choose from and a beef club as well. They also have a nice store inside with lots of goodies to buy. Oh and olive oil tasting and food you can purchase to eat as you do your day drinking as well. I will give this place 5 stars which I rarely give but the nice friendly lady had such great customer service. This is what you call 5 stars. She approached us in a timely manner and help us every step of the way. With making us wait to long. Thank you again you made our visit that much more special.

Yelp
The drive out to this location was beautiful! We saw the olive oil being made through a large window wall. We perused the merchandise and even did the guided tasting of 4 different olive oils and 3 different balsamic vinegars. We bought a few bottles of olive oils and tried the olive oil ice cream! It was overall a fun experience and a great way to spend an hour or so.

Yelp
This is always a must stop when I'm in the Capay Valley. Recently I took a leisurely weekend drive through the valley. Beautiful rolling hills in a quiet countryside on a sunny lazy day. This is a perfect stop to enjoy wine and olive oil tasting and bite to eat. Or just stretch your legs and use the loo. That was the reason I first stoped here over seven years ago. The Yocha Dehe Nation owns the Seka Hills operations which includes olive oils, infused vinegars, wines, wildflower honey, nuts, vinegar, beef jerky, and skincare products. All those items plus then some are sold at the tasting room. Nicely curated inventory of merchandise. The Seka Hills Tasting room is the state of the art olive mill facility. It has a beautiful, modern industrial interior design. The open design tasting room has seating areas to enjoy wine tasting and the deli offerings ( sandwiches, salads, and charcuterie). They have outdoor patio seating as well that overlooks the olive orchards and gorgeous countryside. If you're interested in the wine tasting, you can order at the counter. It's $15 for four flights. There are eight wines to choose from. I didn't order any wine. But from my vantage point, the glasses were a substantial size and the pour seemed heavy handed. I can say the food is tasty. On my last visit, I had the Italian sandwich $14. It tasted terrific. The sandwich was substantially sized and had local sourced deli meats and spring mix, Seka Hills olive tapenade, and their signature olive bruschetta mayo; just all so delicious. And so pretty. By the way the Cache Creek casino is across the road. Just letting you know, especially for all those that visit the casino but never knew about Seka Hills.

Yelp
We called for a reservation for 2 people they would not book us over 2 hrs out... we are 1.5 hrs drive away. The lady did not offer any solutions, would not accommodate and was rude about it. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Yelp
This is like a gem around this area. The place was very clean and privately feel, I like the white roses around covering the entire grounds. The wine are good. Ana the service was excellent. Melissa our main server was great... very pleasant and happy.

Tammy P.

Yelp
Since we were in the area thought we would stop by and check out their latest olive oil and wine. It was a nice afternoon so sat outside and enjoyed the wine and then tasted the oils. Ended up buying 3 bottles of their Olive Oil and some tasty cookies to end the day with. Love the couches and fire pit outside and plenty of room inside. Staff always greet you when you walk in and always ask their favorites since they try the products.

Amber R.

Yelp
My friends & I have always wanted to stop by here & we were so happy that we did. There were a variety of items to purchase; different foods/drinks, kitchenwares, lotion/soap, & gift sets with olive oils & wine. Each of the employees were super nice & offered free wine or oil tastings. We ended up doing the oils tasting - 3 olive oils, 3 balsamic, 2 almond butters & their honey. It was a great experience & it had beautiful views of the hills & olive trees surrounding & the tasting room/shop area was grand. We'll be back another time to try some of their wines! I definitely recommend this place.

Vidhi P.

Yelp
The olive oil ice cream is PERFECT. Absolutely perfect. The pomegranate balsamic and sea salt makes it even more perfect. The staff hosting the olive oil and balsamic tasting were very nice and fit in our samples right before they closed. Loved the decor and ambiance inside and outside. So so good, highly recommend if you're in the area.

Yelp
this is the best wine tasting experience I've ever had. I come from a town (San Luis obispo) where wine tasting is HUGE. this is by far better than where I live. my partner and I unfortunately had a broken down car. we found Seka Hills on group on and are pleasantly surprised with the hospitality and amaaaazzing wine, olive oil, honey AND balsamic!! you MUST try this place. they even made special accommodations for us . Charriase helped us this evening and did a wonderful job explaining the history and how the company works!

Jane R.

Yelp
We had never visited the Capay (pronounced kay-pay) Valley before driving in to attend a lavender festival. On the way out, we stopped in at Seka Hills to check out their olive oil and were really glad we did. The olive oil is high quality, grown and processed locally so that ensures the best flavor. They did not have an unreasonable amount of flavors but a good variety. Pricing is excellent. In addition, there are wines, local meat products and other assorted gourmet items. We did not taste the wines but will return to do so. Note: Seka Hills Olive Oil is also available at the Old Sugar Mill in Clarksburg.

Shayla B.

Yelp
While we thoroughly enjoyed the vinegar and olive oil tasting, we weren't really impressed with the wines. Seka Hills is a chic tasting room located in Yolo wine country just down the street from Cache Creek Casino Resort. Their tasting room is super stylish with modernly rustic décor. The interior space is very airy and spacious with a great view of their stainless-steel barrel room. Seka Hills also comes equipped with a deli and front patio seating. Melissa assisted us in the tasting room and she was absolutely fantastic! We started off with a vinegar and olive oil tasting. When I tell you that every single olive oil and vinegar tasted amazing! Melissa explained the flavors perfectly and offered some great ways to use and pair the oils and vinegars. We liked them so much that we all ended up purchasing some. I purchased the starter pack which offers a variety of 3 olive oils and 3 vinegars. The fig and pomegranate balsamic vinegars are my favorite! They make the perfect additives for homemade salad dressings and sauces. The olive oils are all super high quality. I would definitely come back for more olive oils and vinegars. I can't forget to mention their delicious hummus too! Melissa treated us to a special taste of their hummus and it was absolute exquisite. Their wines were a completely different story though. This was one of the rare occasions when none of us liked ANY of the wines (hence the 3-star rating). In fact, these were the worst wines that we tasted during our Yolo wine country wine tasting tour. Very unfortunate because everything else was wonderful. Since it was warm out, we decided to taste their rose and white wines. Everything we tasted was overly oaked. Even the viognier and rose tasted extremely oaky. It tasted like the wines had been opened for a few days and had been left sitting in the sun for too long. That pour bucket got some heavy use that day. Besides the terrible wines, we actually had a fun time here. I wouldn't be opposed to giving them another shot in terms of the wine, but I'd highly recommend stopping by to try their olive oils and vinegars if you're in the area.

Linda R.

Yelp
We had a great time in this absolutely beautiful tasting room! Wine, olive oils, nuts and honey were delicious! Charcuterie board was delicious especially the blue cheese with local honey drizzled on it-yum! Great place to stop by after a little casino time.

Sahil J.

Yelp
I absolutely love this place!! I came to the area because of the Almond Blossom Festival and it was a blast. The people were so nice and welcoming! We were able to try a variety of olive oils and learn exactly how they were made. We also got to try some balsamic vinegar which was really unique! The lady helping us was extremely kind and was patient with all of our questions. However the highlight of the event was trying out their olive oil ice cream! It was such a great experience! The ice cream was extremely flavorful especially with the addition of balsamic glaze!! It was truly a memorable ice cream The inside of the place was stunning and fits the vibe of a tasting room. If you're in the area I would 10000% try this place out!!!

Yelp
We love Séka Hills! We always stop by before going to Winters for our favorite steak at Buckhorn's! Séka Hills is a beautiful stop we recommend to anyone wanting a welcoming and beautiful spot to wine taste/olive oil taste. The staff are always friendly and their products are amazing! From the wine to the olive oils and vinegars, we always take home a couple of bottles! Heads up they do close a little early but it's a great place to start your day! We always enjoy our date nights when we start at Séka Hills!

Madison W.

Yelp
The Italiano sandwich was great and the wine and olive oil tasting was informative and fun! Great place to sit on the patio in the shade and listen to the birds chirp

Jennifer H.

Yelp
This was my first time at the Capay Valley Tasting Room. I had previously visited the tasting room in Clarksburg. This spot is beautiful! I had joined the beef club and it was pick up day! We were greeted by the front door with complimentary stemless wine glasses for a free tasting and directed to where we pick up our beef! Because I was a new member, my order came in a cute burlap cold bag too! They had Chando's food truck out there and live music! Now I know that was for a special occasion, so I will tell you they have a beautiful shop with wine, olive oils, the best flavored balsamic vinegars ever, and seasonal goodies like honey and flavored simple syrups. They have more red wines than white but everything was really yummy. I took home the Vognier which was the only white they had left (good thing I like it!). My mom took home the Grenache which was lovely but they also had three more reds that were on the dry side.. It's a bit of a drive to get out there but we'll worth it and hey, you can stop at Cache Creek Casino on your way out!

Yelp
Would definitely recommend Séka Hills tasting room to try olive oil, honey, hummus and wine. The views are stunning and the Tasting Room is a beautiful place to relax and enjoy a nice afternoon. If you will be coming around 4 or later, call ahead to place an order for a delicious sandwich or hummus trio sampler. In native Patwin language, "Séka" means blue. The name Séka Hills chosen for the line of premium tribal products honors the blue hills that overlook the beautiful grasslands, rolling hills and valleys in Capay Valley. For thousands of years, the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation has lived in harmony with nature and tended this fertile valley. We were so lucky to not only to have an olive oil, honey and balsamic vinegar tasting with the Tasting Room Supervisor, Edie Hafdahl, but also learn about culture, history and tradition. Interesting to hear how production decisions are made through a lens of environmental stewardship to honor, protect and preserve the land while creating and cultivating award winning wines and olive oils. They are one of a few tribes that are expanding agriculture and ranching in California and own over 22,000 acres. Interesting to also hear about the weeklong trek to move their growing herd of 700 cattle through to their summer home in Oregon and then back to their Capay Valley home again along a long trail ride annually. Tasting Room Specialist Melissa was a great resource for not only their award winning wines, but gardening advice. Want to attract bees to your garden? Plant a bouquet of colors including lavender, hydrangeas, butterfly plants and sunflowers. The wine tasting which includes four wine was included in our YOLO Passport, but is normally available for $10. The olive oil tasting which I would highly recommend was complimentary. Don't miss the local wildflower honey. So delicious! Order a sandwich from the deli. The Nisqually Salmon with herbed cream cheese, organic cucumbers and tomatoes, lemon pesto aioli on fresh ciabatta was amazing! Limited to this summer. The hummus trio was a perfect sample of the original, jalapeño and cilantro hummus served with bread, crackers and cucumbers. Make sure to tip your server. Thanks again to Edie and Melissa at the Séka Hills Olive Mill & Tasting Room. It was very busy with about a dozen guests (nice to meet a few Sacramento Yelpers) there for the YOLO Passport experience on a late Saturday afternoon, but we felt like we had a VIP personalized experience. Thanks also to Sacramento CM Alex for extending this Yelp Passport to a couple of Texans. So happy our Tribal EVOO and Séka Hills Wildflower Honey made it back to our home safely.

Yelp
Wine tasting, Balsamic Vinegars and EVOO's Séka Hills Olive Mill & Tasting Room is located in Brooks CA. Don't know where that is? Just think Cache Creek. If you go a little bit further down past the casino you will see the Séka Hills tasting room. Their vineyards are across the casino. We arrived here around 2:30p and completed our wine and EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) educational tasting inside the tasting room. We decided to stay indoors the rest of the tasting experience. At the end we decided to get their 2020 Rosé. The wine was rich with fruity taste. I liked the aromas of ripe cherry and blueberry. We also bought a pair of balsamic vinegar (Pomegranate) and Taggiasca EVOO. It had a gentle scent and a sweet almond-like taste. 10% was applied to our purchases. They have a deli in-house offering salads, sandwiches, charcuterie and snacks .Pick up a rewards stamp card and after 10 purchases of their signature deli items your next one is free. The tasting room was spacious inside with merchandise available for purchase. Items like shirts, mugs, coasters, honey, cookbooks, pantry items, and, of course, balsamic vinegars and olive oils. After our wine tasting we went across the parking lot to the olive trees orchard to take some photos. I've never seen olives bore from a tree. I've only seen them in glass jars in the grocery store LoL Review #2267

Yelp
As the "Passport to Yolo Wine Country" was nearing the end (over the weekend of June 26/27, 2021), I took full advantage of my day by venturing out to wineries that I have never been to nor heard of in my life. This was completely uncharted territory as I don't believe I have ever driven on the roads leading up to this place. This takes me to the small town of Brooks, CA in the Capay Valley of Yolo County where I had the honor of sampling wines at "Séka Hills Olive Mill & Tasting Room". After eating a light lunch in the small town of Esparto, Séka Hills was my first stop on my wine tour for the day. I arrived promptly at around 12:30pm on 6/26/2021. The easiest way to find this place is that if you know where "Cache Creek Indian Reservation" is, this place is literally right down the street from there. Parking was easy to find and the entrance was a breeze with the nicely paved parking lot. A fun fact that I did not know is that their tasting room is owned by the same people who own Cache Creek. The inside of this winery is very open, spacious, well-lit, and inviting. There are several display shelves showcasing their extra virgin olive oils & balsamic vinaigrettes, books & tutorials on the surrounding vineyards, t-shirts, coffee mugs, wine glasses, and cookbooks. Additionally, they also offer a small food menu that carries a few select salads & sandwiches as well as a cheese board that includes several amazing cheeses that pair up nicely with your wines, fruit, meats, and nuts. During my visit, I was greeted by Melissa who thoroughly explained the wines in full detail. As part of this Yelp Passport wine tasting package, every Yelper that was accepted into this month-long event received complimentary tastings of their award winning wines. I sampled 4 that was on their menu, this included the "2018 Viognier", "2017 Viognier", "2020 Rosé", and "2019 Sauvignon Blanc". All tasted absolutely amazing, refreshing, with the perfect amount of aromas and bitterness that was differentiated in each glass. After narrowing down which one tasted best, I ended up buying a bottle of the "2017 Viognier" which they quote as the perfect summer wine. The aromatic scent orange blossoms, vanilla, jasmine, and honey are a perfect and refreshing pairing with any chicken, poultry, or seafood dish. And of course, all by itself. Overall, "Séka Hills" lived up to its expectations as this was an amazing first stop on my Yolo County wine tour. My rating, a unanimous five stars.

Yelp
Wine is delicious, space is open, patio is beautiful and they offer food options - sandwiches & salads! I was in last Sunday with my husband and some friends and Seka was our third stop of the day. We were in need a cooler setting after sitting outside and luckily Seka had space for us. Upon arrival, we weren't really greeted and the experience was much different from their Sacramento tasting room experience. The 5 of us did tastings and we weren't really sure on what we were tasting. There was a list on the counter of about 6-8 wines, but our tasting was of 4 wines so I'm not sure what we actual had. When they were poured for us the name was quickly said and we didn't really get a description to what it was, no problem. We did enjoy our time because of the AC and the calming environment. We had lunch right before coming in, but I wish I had room for their sandwiches! The menu looked delicious and if I ever find myself here again, I'll be sure to save room to taste their deli foods. The space is really comforting and clean. Their bathrooms were also super clean. I will say though, I do favor the Sacramento location more for the kind servers.

Yelp
I'd read an article about places to visit in Capay Valley, a tucked away area in Yolo County and best known for Cache Creek casino. I was visiting the are to check out the nearby lavender farm and had remembered Seka hills was nearby and recommended as a place to grab a sandwich for lunch. The grounds are beautiful-olive groves and a relaxing outdoor seating area with surrounding garden. There are options for olive oil tasting and wine testing but on my visit, my boyfriend and I were just grabbing some sandwiches. I got the Capay Valley veggie and he got the Italian bird. All around quality ingredients and flavorful sandwiches. We opted to sit outside in the shade and enjoy the surrounding views. Really lovely spot. Their retail store featured a variety of goodies from their olive oils to soaps and lotions to gourmet treats and more. It's a beautiful drive out this way so if you can plan a few stops in the area and do a little day trip, make Seka Hills one of them.

Stevi B.

Yelp
Located across the way from Cache Creek so I took a break from the pool to head over and check this place out. The grounds are pretty and the service was prompt and friendly. I had a caprese sandwich that was delicious... so much so that you could smell the basil before it even left the kitchen. Yum! Also the balsamic and focaccia were strong contributing factors. I didn't taste any of the olive oil (this time around) but did do the wine tasting, of which you receive 4 tastes for $10. I opted for "Pourer's Choice" since I like both red and white, and she did not disappoint. The Tuluk'a was a nice red, light and seemingly dark berry forward? (Not a sommelier... don't judge me) :-D The Tannat was my favorite though. Smooth finish and just an overall nice red to sit back with! I'd definitely be inclined to pop back in my next trip out.

Cliff S.

Yelp
I'm not into wine all that much, but I did end up coming here right before gambling all my cash away at Cache Creek. It was pretty empty at around 1PM, granted it was hot as hell outside but we made it work, they have all these tables outside for sitting and drinking the wine. We ended up with the wine taster which was great! One of the ladies there even gave us watermelons which was awesome! And it turned out to be friggin' amazing too! If you're ever out at Cache Creek and tired of gambling this place is the way to go. Bonus: seems like they have some sort of beef butcher shop too, wasn't able to check it out but I'd love to check it out sometime.

Michael B.

Yelp
We did a wine tasting and olive oil + almonds tasting and really liked everything. We ended up buying a lot of stuff (wine, stemware, olive oil, balsamic vinegar, almonds, and a hat) and we joined one of their clubs. We also ordered sandwiches and soup from the deli and thought the food was pretty good - we'd do that again. The lady that helped us the most was very friendly but did seem like she was fairly new. The drive here is really pretty and it's awesome that you can see the vineyards, olive and almond trees, etc where their products come from. Outdoor seating patio is also very pretty. Dogs are allowed on the outdoor patio but we didn't even try or ask about inside.

Kris T.

Yelp
This are the wineries next to Cache Creek Casino. Relaxing and enjoyable wines with a great old. Friendly staff.

Melissa B.

Yelp
Seka Hills is the perfect place for a nice, quiet, and enjoyable wine tasting. Surrounded by beautiful olive trees and having some of their delicious wines. My favorite being their Sauvignon Blanc. Their menu also includes sandwiches, which I did not have, but sure they are yummy. Very friendly staff and a very classy winery vibe.

Pamela F.

Yelp
Such a beautiful little place to visit if you are out near Cache Creek Casino. Had a great time with friends and really enjoyed the olive oil tasting with Dominic. Dominic made olive oil tasting super fun and he was very knowledgeable about the olive oil making process. The Seka olive oil is really fresh and buttery! For wine lovers, they have wine tasting too. Seka sells sandwiches and other deli type items. We enjoyed listening to the live music and eating a charcuterie board outside in the garden area. This place is a great girls day getaway!!!

Emily B.

Yelp
Everything was good especially the hospitality. My son and his girlfriend's family had a great time. Thank you!!! Hope to be back ASAP. God bless.

Debbie M.

Yelp
Visited while we were camping near Winters and were looking to get out of the rainy weather. Great hosts, enjoyed the wine tasting, and polished it off with summer olive oil tasting.

Diomedes L.

Yelp
Ah !!! Our last stop for today. I don't think. Can handle the full menu of the wine list sampling's. So I just requested their 2020 Rose Wine. That all I can muster. This place has a huge orchards of olive trees. Their vineyards are across the casino cache creek. Yes the Bay Area's famous casino to go to. Anyway their tasting room lobby is gorgeous. Since they grow olive trees, we have the chance to sample their 5 varieties of olives they produce at their site. I couldn't share much about the different flavors of wines (I had too much tasting at other wineries) but I can tell you this. It's a nice place to relax and enjoy your afternoon. They also sandwiches and not just sandwiches. They're delicious. Seka Hills practically is across Cache Creek casino. If you plan to visit the casino, plan to visit Seka Hills, another gem of a winery in Yolo county .

Cassandra N.

Yelp
It's definitely a drive to get to this tasting room, but well worth it. It's right across the way from Cache Creek casino, and the casino's free WiFi reached the tasting room! Upon walking in, you can immediately tell they're a step up from the rest. Incredibly tall ceilings, minimalist yet effective decor, and plenty of goods for sale. And cool AC! Much appreciated on a 100+ degree day. The bathrooms are super nice too. They had a little trouble checking us in for the Yolo Wine Passport, but customer service was genuine and helpful. Interestingly, our tasting seemed to be different from others I've seen. We sampled three whites and a red dessert wine, and also did the olive oil and balsamic vinegar tasting. We also bought a charcuterie board, which was a great addition to the tasting, and something I think that all wineries should offer! Denise helped us a bit and seemed to be training, and was really sweet. Laci was hands on and conversational, which I appreciated. We ended up leaving with a bottle of elderberry balsamic vinegar and a jar of honey, both delicious. They sell beef and have a program to buy it, and it seems to be popular- I'm intrigued! They also have a deli that offers sandwiches and other items that have their products. A unique experience and definitely somewhere I would want to visit again.

Shannen C.

Yelp
Seka Hills is located inside the Sugar Mill in Clarksburg. Only a short 30 minute drive from Elk Grove for a winery getaway. The service was wonderful and we felt very welcomed when we visited. They have great wine and were also offered a sample of almonds, almond butter, and honey. We enjoyed all the items and were happy to bring home some goodies. Highly recommend Seka Hills Tasting Room!

Angelica R.

Yelp
Wow! My friend and I did the passport to yolo county event and made this our first stop... we basically spent the whole day here! Beautiful grounds outside even in 102 degree weather. We moved inside to the large and also very beautiful tasting room with magnificent a/c. The wines were great with generous pours and that charcuterie board was a complete joke run as well! It included blue cheese with some of their local honey (I ended up buying my own jar of honey!), their own seasoned almonds, lots of other cheeses and meats as well as their house-made hummus. I preferred their jalapeño cilantro hummus than the one that comes with the board. We also tried their olive oils and balsamic vinegars - try their elderberry balsamic vinegar (YUM. Also bought this haha)! All in all- you can definitely spend a day here and have a blast. So glad we discovered this gem and will try to be back!

Gregg R.

Yelp
Visited Seka Hills as part of the Yolo County wine passport and was really blown away! While a bit of a drive compared to the other Wineries, it was pleasant views throughout and our destination had wide pleasant views. I was surprised to find this place so close to Cache Creek and it's crazy to think I would have never known if it wasn't for this Yelp sponsored event. Seka Hills tasting room really brought wow factor with its tasting room. Wide and high-ceiling with windows that open onto its winemaking facilities. There was also seating available outdoors on a semi-covered patio, but we opted to stay inside due to the 108 degree heat. On this particular trip we decided to give their lunch menu a try in addition to the complimentary wine flight. Unlike the others we visited, this place allowed us to pick specific wines we wanted to try and it was nice to be able to pick wines specific to our taste. The servers were quick an attentive and kept an eye for an empty glass. Speaking of service, this place was a champ! We had some unique requests to our menu items and they had no issues adjust menu items for specific changes. We changed one of the sandwiches into a salad and it came out great! This place was my favorite place as the quality of each of our wine choices I really enjoyed. Definitely worth a stop by especially if you are going to cache creek.

Yelp
Passport to Yolo Wine Country stop 2/2 on Sunday, 6/13. After the (awesome) visit to Taber Ranch, we made a trek few miles down the road to Seka Hills tasting room. It is located just a minute drive from the casino, and being almost 4:30 PM when we walked in (they close at 5), we perhaps did not get to experience everything Seka Hills has to offer, thus I can't really say I was exactly overwhelmed...However, I have no regrets visiting, even for a short 30-45 minutes. Once we walked in, we were greeted and asked what brings us to Seka Hills. I mentioned Yelp Passport and was informed it was too late for wine tasting as they close at 5, and to try to come back another time. After they heard we are not exactly from the area, they decided to take us in. That was really nice of them. But.... we kinda felt like we are not getting the representative experience as we did not want to be a drag, so we tried to rush through the tasting and not hold them back. The wine tasting, unlike at Taber, is one-by-one so we were at the server's mercy. Wine was pretty good, but I think I liked the 1st stop a bit better. Where Seka Hills has an edge is definitely in the ambiance and tasting room looks: everything's posh, very clean and could easily be mistaken for a Napa tasting room...for a second we forgot we were in rural Yolo County. Since we were short on time, we didn't get a chance to check out olive oil press process, but we did take a nice gift set ( a combo of balsamic vinegars and olive oils) home. They have plenty of selections for all sorts of cool gifts, so I'll surely stop by here for local gifts before making the next trip to visit family in Europe. I hope to go back to Seka Hills when we have a little more time when in the area next to hit up the casino.

Yelp
This was our last stop for the day, and we ended on a high note. Seka Hills is a very large facility across from the Cache Creek Casino in the middle of nowhere that looks like a barn from the outside and a moden processing plant on the inside, with a beautiful outside setting. Everyone there was so nice, even though they were busy. They have a nice deli as well as olive oil tasting. Wine tasting was $10 for four pours of either white or red.

Yelp
We live in Carmichael and the drive out to Seka Wineries in Brooks was a little over an hour. Much of the drive is absolutely beautiful. Seka is romantic and beautiful surrounded by olive trees. The tasting room was crowded and had people standing in different lines. A little confused, we picked a line but not sure what we were standing in line for nor what each line lead to. We got to the front of the line and got our glasses. There were no indoor seats so we went outside to their dog friendly patio. There weren't a lot of shady spots and the weather was very hot, so I wished I had worn a cute hat that day to cut the sun in my eyes. There was a server giving tastings at a little kiosk on the patio, so we didn't have to go inside to the crowds. Aside from being hot, the patio was serene. We couldn't hear all the hustle and bustle of city life. It was extremely relaxing and enjoyable. We only tried their white wines since drinking reds didn't sound appealing in the heat. I was pleasantly surprised at how good they were. Not sweet, just smooth drinking wine. We will definitely be back.

Yelp
With the heat of summer bearing down, the spacious indoor tasting area was a welcome sight. With intricate decorations and a preview into the production area, there's plenty to observe and enjoy while visiting. The 2018 Viognier and 2017 Dessert wine were my favorites out of the tasting. Lacy was very helpful and enthusiastic when serving us both wine and a well-endowed charcuterie board. The olive oil tasting was also a nice touch, as it was a first for me. Overall, I loved the atmosphere, which blended well with the food and wine provided. I look forward to a trip again in the future!

Yelp
We had heard about the famous Séka Hills olive oil from Samin Nosrat's Salt Fat Acid Heat and finally made our way out to the tasting room. The outdoor patio is nestled in the hills with the beautiful sounds of birds chirping. We tried the Italiano and Beef Brisket sandwiches, the hummus trio, and the pasta salad. Everything was delicious. We also did the wine tasting. Our favorites were the Rosé and the Syrah. The wine tasting is complimentary with purchase of a bottle. We bought a few bottles and had glasses of our favorites. The olive oil tasting was also quite fun. Our favorite was the Taggiasca (the mildest and least peppery). Staff were very kind and friendly despite being very busy with a constant flow of customers. It's a bit of a drive for us (1.5 hrs), but we enjoyed the ride up. The sunflowers in bloom along the drive were also quite a treat.

Yelp
By far one of the best few locations that I have had the pleasure of visiting. I came out here before with my wife on our honeymoon 3 years ago on the recommendation from our Air BnB host, and was worth the trip. The service was and continues to be friendly and inviting. The knowledgeable folks here were attentive pleasant. The wine tasting was amazing as we sampled some of their best sellers. Their in-house deli selection was also great. I had the pleasure of having their pastrami sandwich and my wife had their brisket salad paired with their 2014 Tuluk'a. Their signature balsamic vinaigrette selections were also a highlight of this visit, as they have a selection that pairs well with most salads. Over, very happy with the visit and definitely looking forward to returning soon.

Yelp
A+ service, will return. Our host Melissa was so knowledgeable about the wines and olive oils available. She was enthusiastic and guided me through my first olive oil tasting! I had a wonderful visit and time flew by so quickly. The blue cheese and honey on the charcuterie board really made a nice food pairing with the wine tasting flight and their generous pours.

Yelp
What a find! Came out at the recommendation of several friends. The Tasting Room is amazing and the people are incredibly friendly. Olive oil, balsamic, and wine tasting in a beautiful Capay Valley setting. We joined the Wine Club because the wine is BETTER than Napa Valley and the drive is so pleasant. Can hardly wait for September and the first pick up event...food trucks and live music. I highly Recommend this Winederful spot!

Yelp
Stumbled on this place with hubby on a weekend while driving around about to head to Napa. This place is definitely a beautiful hidden gem. Do the flight for $8, and try the olive oils, nuts and balsamic vinegars. Allison started is off with the flight of wines and we moved on with Maggie to the olive oils and balsamic vinegars. They also have different almonds there. Inside they have a open floor plan shop where yℴu can get lotions, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, honey, silverware, books, jams, salts, dishes, tableware, soaps, bath salts, wine accessories, and even sweet treats. They always have things going on there from paint day, Floral arrangement, makes wreaths and so much more other things you just gotta sign up with ur email to keep up with their events. Another nice detail was they have a small deli inside yℴu can get yummie sandwiches from. Definitely get the salmon or the turkey. The meat and cheese platter is a good one to share too. From time to time you'll get lucky and there is a Groupon for this place great for date idea for the wine lover in your life.

Yelp
We purchased a Wine Tasting package for 2 on Groupon for $46. The groupon says to make a reservation so I called ahead, but they said they weren't taking reservations. We showed up and were told we needed a reservation. I explained that on the phone I was told the opposite. REGARDLESS, the manager was super accommodating and made it happen! We got a tour of the winery and learnt all about the process, wine tasting of 5+ wines, tasting of 5 olive oils and 3 balsamic vinegars. ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. For the price we paid we got all of that plus a complimentary bottle of wine. Definitely worth the price! They were understaffed so a little slow, but the outdoor area is so pretty and relaxing that you don't even mind.
