Semicolon - Review - Washington Heights - New York - The Infatuation

"It’s hard to resist the almost cartoonishly good-looking egg sandwiches as this Korean-influenced cafe. Two slices of thick, supersoft brioche bread are used to hold fluffy scrambled eggs paired with everything from bulgogi to avocado, which comes with a squiggle of spicy sauce. Being a coffee shop, this spot also has plenty of espresso, flat whites, and lattes, along with croissants and other pastries. If you’re looking for something sweet and cold, however, try one of the sweetened shaved ice concoctions called bingsoo in flavors like sesame and matcha. Food Rundown Avocado Sandwich It’s the two slices of fresh, delicate brioche that set this egg sandwich apart—and, to make it work, the whole precarious thing is served in a specially made paper holder. Stuffed in the middle is an equally thoughtful combination of fresh avocado and fluffy omelette finished with red onion, lettuce, and a squiggle of hot sauce. You’ll gulp this down in a New York minute. Iced Matcha Latte We love the prelude—watching the green matcha slowly swirl into the milk—as much as the drink itself. Fully blended, this bright green treat is sweet and just a tiny bit bitter." - The Curious Uptowner

Google
A really nice, cozy, and welcoming neighborhood café. The fresh hanging plants inside create such a refreshing vibe, and the interior looks pretty. The Bulgogi and Lox sandwich has toasted yet fluffy bread, and the sauce is just right, not too strong, with a great balance of flavors. The Matcha shaved ice is a tasty, fun treat with its mix of cool, crunchy, soft, sweet, and chewy textures all at once. They bake their pastries fresh every day.

Google
Loved the coffee and the food and the fact that this spot wasn't crazy busy on a late Saturday morning. Also they have three vegetarian-friendly breakfast sandwiches! The guava pastry was also very good, tasted fresh and not overly sweet, even for guava.

Google
I had avocado sandwiches and iced latte. As always, great quality and tasty. And reasonable price. This is a Korean-style warm sandwich. The sauce is special too. This place is cozy, quiet and has lots of plants.

Google
Bustling and enjoyable place to hang out and get some work done. Considerate staff, nice space out front, clean, and cute interior. Coffee is kind of watery though :( Please consider increasing the concentration of the cold brew, the molecules are feeling lonely since they're too far apart!!

This is my go-to place to come write. The vibes are impeccable and I love being surrounded by plants. The food is delicious and provides something unique.

Google
Semicolon is expanding by the month. I have been to them in lower manhattan but never here. Same quality and product. The avocado sandwich was so good. They perfectly toast the bun and all the ingredients work well together. A little hard to eat but a balanced sandwich. I did find the green tea bitter but all good. Come back for the sandwiches. Next time I am going for the bulgogi.

Google
Lovely cafe. I ordered cappuccino, strawberry shaved ice, and Matcha shaved ice. Shaved ice is so good! They topped with good enough matcha and sweet bean paste I ever had in the USA! Love it! Why my star is 4 because the spoon is not good for eating shaved ice. I highly recommend and will be back soon!

Google
Delicious coffee & sandwiches with a beautiful restaurant to enjoy it all. I love the live plant decor and esthetic. It’s a calming and relaxing environment to sip on some coffee, catch up with a friend, or read a book while you enjoy one of their delicious sandwiches. I tried the B.E.L.T. and a Chicken sandwich. Both were great! Can’t wait to come back here to sample more.

Yelp
Loved this cute lil coffee shop. We ordered an iced caramel specialty latte, cold brew with hazelnut syrup, and the BELT sandwich. The drinks were sweet and tasty, but the real star of the show was the sandwich. It really had no business being that good! The toast was light and airy, the bacon perfectly crisped, the eggs fluffy and savory, and the mustard mayo was the perfect condiment to enhance the sandwich's flavor. I'm not exaggerating when I say that it was probably one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. If you're not feeling up for a sandwich, they also have a great selection of pastries at the front (danishes, muffins, croissants, etc). Def will be coming back again!

Yelp
Today I got the Bulgogi sandwich, a strawberry ade and a banana pudding. Bulgogi sandwich: Tender juicy meat, slight sweetness from the sauce, the sauce actually tasted more like a takoyako/okonomiyaki sauce than anything. The bread was nice and fluffy yet slightly crispy good dish. Banana Pudding: The cookie was nice and soft, banana pudding was nice and very creamy, good banana flavor, slightly sweet. Very good treat. Strawberry Ade: It was not what i was expecting, i expected your typical strawberry lemonade combo. This tasted kind of like a mix between a strawberry and sprite, it was bubbly, ok strawberry flavor, it wasn't bad. Overall: Really good place to try out if you are in the area.

Yelp
Came back for coffee with friends & the we enjoyed it. Coffee was perfect for my taste. smooth & creamy. The pastries we tried was so so. They have outdoor seating which is perfect for the warmer months. planning to come back when we are in the area.

Yelp
Had the veggie avocado sandwich from here and it was pretty good. It also has GREAT seating options and is ideal for studying. I definitely would come back to try out the coffee options and have another sandwich. The only thing is that it is a little pricey, but other than that pretty good!

Yelp
I found a dead bug in my sandwich. I couldn't tell if it was a beetle or a little roach. I am never going back.

Yelp
A lovely Korean inspired cafe with WiFi, a cute aesthetic, and tasty bites. It's a great spot for studying or just taking a break! (Fun fact: they're called semicolon because they want people to "pause" and rest when they come there). We got 3 sandwiches all of which I would get again:) The Shroom had a mushroomy umami taste with a touch of truffle sauce. The Lox was great if you like salmon and dill - great combo. The Chicken was your classic spicy chicken sandwich elevated with their spicy sauce and cheese! We also tried their Mango and Chocolate bingsoo (Korean shaved ice mixed with milk). It's such a light and subtly sweet dessert, 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
Been eyeing this cafe but since it was out of the way, I didn't have to the opportunity to go until recently. We came later in the day around 5-6pm so it was pretty quiet and had plenty of seats. We ordered two sandwiches: bulgolgi and the spicy chicken. Both were delicious and my favorite was the spicy chicken. Sandwiches cost about $10-12 which I thought was fair ish. They were a little smaller then I expected. The drinks we ordered: very berry smoothie and a lady matcha. The smoothie was thick and just alright. The lady matcha was not bad, I mostly enjoyed the strawberry flavors. The edible straw tasted like strawberry candy. Overall, the ambiance was nice and the food tasted good.

Yelp
Love this place! I have been coming here since I moved around the area a few years ago and have always had a very positive experience. Most recently, I came on a study date with my boyfriend on a Saturday around 2pm. When we arrived, this place was pretty packed with most tables occupied (I truthfully do not come enough to know when their busiest times are but I would guess a weekend day is pretty busy)-- thankfully, we were able to find a nice table on the corner to settle down. We wanted to get some food before starting our studying and they have a pretty nice selection of sandwiches available as well as a few salads and baked goods! I decided to order a small latte w/ almond milk that was very delicious and ~super caffeinated~ since it left me feeling mildly jittery and awake for my studying. My boyfriend got a drip coffee which he liked as well. For food I got the shroom sandwich which is what I always get because I am obsessed and refuse to order anything else. This is so tasty and satisfying and I am pretty sure it is their best sandwich. It comes with perfectly toasted, fluffy, buttery brioche filled with scrambled eggs, arugula, tomatoes, cheese, and mushrooms. All these items give it wonderful flavor and texture. In addition it has little pieces of corn which at first I did not think would add much but they give it little subtle hints of sweetness and texture on each bite. The balsamic vinaigrette and truffle sauce are also to die for and make this seemingly harmless sandwich feel so gourmet! My boyfriend got the chicken sandwich which has similar ingredients but comes with grilled chicken, and a spicy sauce instead which was also very good (but I am strongly biased towards the Shroom not going to lie.) Sandwiches can be a little messy to eat so make sure you get a few napkins from the counter. We were then able to get a few hours of work in since the music was not too loud and the place was fairly quiet, which I appreciated! Overall, this is one of my favorite places to study. As above, their food is pretty amazing, they also have good coffee, a nice ambiance with plenty of seating both indoors and outdoors, a bathroom, as well as wifi which you can use if you purchase anything. Love the vibes and will be coming back in the future for more study sessions, shroom sandwiches, and baked goods (which I still have to try!)-- Would recommend.

Yelp
This was a great experience. A really nice cafe spot to study, to eat, and to just grab a cup of coffee with a friend! It is slightly expensive in my experience, but the food is great! The SOS sandwich was soft and savory, and each bite had me wishing I had another sandwich. I absolutely enjoyed that delight. The bulgogi sandwich also tasted amazing! The presentation of the sandwiches is my favorite, and the bread is puffy and delightful. Both the sandwiches fell apart too easily in my opinion, but was still tasty. The matcha latte was also great! It was not too sweet or savory. Very solid latte. I felt that there was too much ice and too little latte however. I was also shocked to see a bingsoo place in Washington Heights, and the bing soo was quite solid. I am very excited to go back and try new things here.

Yelp
Ordered delivery from this cafe a few days ago - I was pleasantly surprised! Here's a quick rundown of my order: Bulgogi sandwich: 7/10. Presentation was super cute. They tucked the sandwich in a fitted holder that allowed for clean eating, and I fearlessly devoured it on my white linen sofa. It was a good, stuffed size. The brioche bread was toasted to perfection, and the overall flavor was decent. My only critique is that the bulgogi was kind of dry, and there wasn't much bulgogi sauce. Overall, a pretty solid sandwich - I will try others next time. Tiramisu latte: 8.5/10. One of the better lattes that I have tried around this area that contained delicious, small chocolate chunks and a melted marshmallow inside. This drink is probably for you if you have a sweet tooth. Also makes a perfect dessert. Banana pudding: 10/10. Amazing!!! Literally went to heaven during my first bite. I definitely recommend trying this. The portion is pretty big and definitely shareable between 2 people. So happy to have this cafe close to me, and I'm super excited to try everything on their menu!

Yelp
This is the perfect cafe if you're looking for coffee and a quick bite! The bulgogi sandwich is an absolute delight. The toast is crispy and buttery with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, glazed bulgogi, and fluffy scrambled egg with corn. When I took my first bite, I was honestly amazed with how well everything came together. I come to this spot a lot now whenever I need to grab things on the go. It's also a perfect picture spot for your food. The one downside is that they have a strict no laptop rule to promote natural conversations!

Yelp
Pro: Cheerful service, tasty food, friendly crowd. Con: Consistently weak WiFi for the past year or more.

Yelp
Semicolon is a nice, modern cafe in Washington Heights. I've never dined inside, but they have a great atmosphere for studying alone or chilling with a friend. I tried their Avocado Sandwich for the first time and it was quite tasty. It comes on toasted brioche bread, which was delicious. It has scrambled eggs, grilled corn, lettuce, red onion and avocado inside, with paprika sauce on top. The sauce was a bit much for me, but it was a good sandwich overall.
google avatar

Ling C.

Yelp
This is a cozy cafe. The cashier was very nice. She was patient with another customer who was indecisive on what to get. The receipt had their wifi password printed on the bottom. Most of the customers were there with their laptops. I enjoyed the large drip coffee I ordered. I recommend sitting away from the plants unless you like to deal with bugs. I kept doing the shooing motion with my hand while I typed with another.

Yelp
*cliff notes: semi-expensive toast sandwiches, smoothies, pastries and more... Me personally I'm glad that I tried it. The service is at the counter and decent. But I wasn't too thrilled about my sandwich.* Food: 4/5 I won't rate the Chicken sandwich low just because I didn't like it. While the bread is soft and lightly toasted and had a nice flavor, the chicken amount was very small. I expected more chicken than egg in a chicken sandwich. I also didn't appreciate how saucy it was. For $9, it isn't something I would get again. Also...im still hungry.... :/ On another note, the mango banana smoothie tastes great - $6. And the blueberry muffin was $2.50. Service: 4/5 It's counter service. You pick your pastries to the left of the counter, the menu is posted along the wall and to the right of the register there's a faded menu of the sandwiches offered. (It was so faded I took my glasses off to read it). Other than that the guy was nice and made my smoothie well. Thanks 'Sam'? There is outside seating and inside seating but on a rainy day like today I opted to sit inside. A medium sized space where in the middle of the store there's communal seating. 2-seater tables are available along the middle too! Lastly, there's wifi and the password is printed on the bottom of your receipt. Overall, it's a cute place with a nice cafe vibe but I'm not to thrilled off their sandwiches personally. Definitely would recommend checking it off it you need a place to study as there wasn't any music playing when I was there, just the natural volume and ambiance of the patrons in store. God bless y'all. Thanks for the service! :)

Yelp
This place was adorable!! The sandwich was called avocado and it was delicious, the sauce on it was awesome. The vanilla latte was great and the barista even told me to let her know if it needed more vanilla but it was perfect. My sister got the strawberry banana smoothie and it was very tasty and refreshing. We got the macaroons which were chewy and colorful. Definitely loved this place, would go again, especially because the staff was super nice and helpful. My sister also says she was impressed with the music selection, I definitely agree!

Yelp
The Almond croissant was very good had some kind of sweet filling!! The story had lots of decorations that were modern and minimalist. they don't speK much english though and do not have salt :(

Yelp
My delivery experience with semicolon cafe was just OK. The sandwich was delicious but the chocolate cake slice I ordered was incredibly dry- bordering on inedible. Perhaps better in person where you can see the goods for yourself!

Yelp
Semicolon Cafe is great. Fair wifi, outlets, nice seating. Pricing is a bit high, but as a business what can they do. I ended up getting my signature cold brew as I always want to be caffeinated and on the go. Great if you like a more milder coffee as their cold brew goes down so easy yet retains its spirit.

Yelp
I had bookmarked this place a while back because I saw on social media the cute sandos and yummy lattes and lo and behold it was indeed a cute place. Cozily situated in Washington Heights, it's a great space to work or catch up with friends . Their Wi-Fi is super speedy too, but sadly not many outlets so come charged. I had their matcha bingsoo since it was a very hot day. It was not too shabby and definitely filled me up. A little too sweet for me personally but it was overall yum. I saw a lot of people getting the sandos and will definitely go back to try some as well as get a specialty latte!

Yelp
It took me a while to get the concept of this place.I moved into the neighborhood three months ago I kept passing this café. I'm not a big fan of eggs, and I noticed all of the sandwiches had a scrambled egg included in it. I became curious because this place is always packed full of people. There's always people sitting outside eating, sometimes there's people sitting inside the establishment and I always noticed that there's a line that moves quickly, but there's people constantly lined up to order. Out of sheer curiosity I go in there I order the ham sandwich, I forget the name of it it's listed on the menu but I exclude the egg. I hated it! I couldn't get why people were so gung ho about this place. After a few weeks I went in and I tried coffee. I ordered a medium iced coffee and I loved it. It was perfect I also ordered lavender macaroons which were very delicious. That struck my interest to try to go back and order the BELT sandwich, but this time I kept the egg on it. When I tell you I have not enjoyed a breakfast sandwich like that in so long! It was perfect. The egg was cooked to perfection it had cheddar and some kind of spicy mayo with Romain lettuce on French brioche bread. This is a classic example of you can't knock it until you try it. If you're not a fan of egg, I would suggest that you still try the sandwich it is very good, completely change my mind. Also, it's a small business. right now the place is currently understaffed, please be patient with the people behind the counter, they are taking online orders as well as taking orders inside of the business. They are pretty swamped but they still find a way to provide the best customer service that they can considering, so be nice!
google avatar

Sasha Q.

Yelp
Not only is the cafe super cute and filled with so many beautiful plants but this place had an amazing tiramisu latte and lox sandwich. The lox sandwich had such an amazing toast and sauce! The cafe worker was also really nice and the overall experience. Definitely recommend people pass by !
google avatar

Leanna W.

Yelp
They are open for both indoor and outdoor dining. This is a super cute cafe in the Washington heights area and I've been seeing people come in to do work/study here. We ordered the matcha bomb (matcha with an espresso shot) and the tiramisu latte. Both drinks were really good although the tiramisu drink is more like dessert to me (but if you have a sweet tooth, you'll enjoy this drink). We also ordered the bulgogi and chicken sandwich, both were super yummy! The interior of the cafe and the food presentation is really cute! They also have some pastries and dessert on the side.
google avatar

Yelp
I really love their egg sandwiches. They taste amazing! My husband and I love & recommend their Bulgogi egg sandwiches. It has beef, tomatoes, fresh crunchy lettuce, eggs, with a drizzle of their mayo sauce. This sandwich is savory with a tint of sweetness which makes it just right. The definition of chewphoria! We've also ordered their matcha latte & mango banana smoothies, both fresh & delicious as well! A family came in on a whimp as we were leaving and didn't know what they were getting. They took a bite of the sandwich and heard them go "wow" as well! :)

Stephanie A.

Yelp
Food was ok! I've had several of the sandwiches - hope to try the bingsoo some time. Low review is primarily because ambiance. Music was blasting so loud it sounded like a rave even with noise-cancelling headphones on. I could not hear myself think. Don't expect to get any work done here. Come only if you're prepared to party to loud techno renditions of songs like "You are my sunshine".
google avatar

Azarel B.

Yelp
I saw someone post their fluffy egg sandwich on Instagram but didn't bother to ask them where they got it. Two days later as I head to jersey, I spot the logo as I'm waiting in traffic and just had to pull over. Could it be fate? Haha It's a cute little cafe that gives not so pretentious, Starbucks vibes. There were a few people working on laptops and plants hanging around. Also, it was so quiet! I was nervous to even order too loudly. They have an easy to order menu, with pictures of what their sandwiches look like. I went with the bulgogi and it was a hit. I personally am such a fan of egg sandwiches with fresh lettuce and veggies. This did not disappoint. I also got an iced chai to complete my meal that was great too. Prices are fair and service was relatively fast. I'd definitely return here.
google avatar

Priya V.

Yelp
Great aesthetic! I ordered the shroom sandwich - it was alright. The biggest issue for me was that it lacked any seasoning. For someone who thought anything that uses brioche bread was delicious, I was disappointed to find out that it wasn't valid. Also tried their tiramisu latte - tastes like dessert and was very very rich. Beware of the wait times, I wouldn't go if I were in a rush!

Yelp
Stopped by for breakfast on a weekday morning. Nice, clean interior with indoor and outdoor seating available. Had the BELT and Avocado sandwiches with a coffee. The sandwiches were a bit smaller than I expected, but they were tasty and visually appealing. Good coffee. The fluffy and light egg was the highlight of both sandwiches, but all the fillings worked well as a whole package. The bread was buttery and lightly toasted. There seems to be corn in all of the sandwiches, but honestly it's not really noticeable. For the BELT, the bacon was lightly crunchy and had a nice chew; the lettuce and tomato added just the right amount of freshness. The sauce was really good, though I wish there was more of it--the first few bites where the sauce was drizzled on top was great, but the flavor tapered off as I got to the bottom of the sandwich. The Avocado sandwich had a generous amount of sliced avocado in it with some kind of reddish sauce (again, which I wish there was more of). The BELT was my favorite of the two, but both sandwiches were very good. Overall, a nice spot in WaHi for a quick and tasty breakfast/coffee.

Yelp
I was absolutely not expecting to have access to korean shaved ice in Washington Heights but here we are. This is a really cute cafe with very aesthetically pleasing indoor workspaces and outdoor eating area. I tried the matcha bingsoo and it wasn't really like the bingsoo at other places bc it had a lot of extra toppings in it and less of the shaved ice itself (so I still prefer bingsoo elsewhere), but it was still tasty enough to justify the price + the fact that I don't need to travel downtown for it.
google avatar

Gabi H.

Yelp
My coffee was tasty, but the sandwich I got (SOS) was a little too sweet for my liking. Definitely good for someone who prefers that! Otherwise an ok cafe, WiFi worked well and there was adequate seating.

Leah D.

Yelp
Incredible bingsoo, ice is so fine and made of milk. I Would definitely come here again.
google avatar

Dominik D.

Yelp
I didn't expect to have a a mushroom coffee (chiagacinno) which tasted pretty convincingly like coffee. Also, their S.O.S sandwich is a really good. An egg and cheese sandwich with a lot of vegetables. Overall, a great spot adjacent to the 157th street station.
google avatar

assh m.

Yelp
Lovely, cozy Korean café that serves flat whites and delicious omelette sandwiches. They also have awesome parfaits and macarons. Sandwiches are made to order and they will modify if needed, which is awesome. Highly suggested for studying, reading, and brunching.
google avatar

Phuong D.

Yelp
I found this gem while wandering around the neighborhood and I'm glad I did. The decoration is cute and trendy, with plenty of indoor and outdoor seatings. They have a good selection of drinks and food, with a pastry shelf and a lot of interesting macarons. They have la colombe coffee which if you are from Philly you would know that it's good. The prices are a little expensive for the neighborhood but fine for New York and it's worth it if you want a place to sit down for chatting or doing work.
google avatar

Nadia H.

Yelp
Such a great addition to Washington Heights! There aren't very many study spots in the area (especially with COVID) so it's great to have a place with free wifi and great food! I had the Avocado sandwich and Tiramisu latte. The sandwich was super good and very filling! The Tiramisu latte was great as well but a little heavy for a coffee drink. I would recommend treating it more like a dessert item. I found the prices to be pretty affordable as well. I'll definitely be back the next time I have an exam to study for!
google avatar

Yelp
I recently moved into the neighborhood but I've already been to Semicolon twice and I know it will be a favorite for years to come! The cafe is adorable & affordable and I know it would be the perfect place to study once the pandemic is over. The first time I came, I got a matcha latte with almond milk and it was delicious! The second time, my friend and I both got the Shroom sandwich and it blew both of us away!! The sandwich was beautiful, first of all. It looks exactly like it does on the menu -- in the cute white box and all. The brioche was tasty and toasted to perfection, and the combination of toppings was perfection! The arugula was just... *chefs kiss* and the truffle sauce artfully drizzled on top tied it all together beautifully. My friend and I agreed that this was the best sandwich we've had in the area. So many of the sandwiches on their menu look delicious (bulgogi, avocado, BELT), but tbh I might have to keep coming back to the Shroom -- it's that good. It's also relatively tidy to eat! We ate at the cafe's tables outside, and it was pretty cozy (albeit windy) on a january day. There was a nearby fire pit to keep us warm. We saw some people studying outside, which I'd really love to try when the weather gets warmer. On my way out, I picked up a tiramisu latte as a pick me up for the library, and this was also amazing! The latte was beautiful, although the cigar cookie was pretty soggy by the time we finished taking pictures (idk if I was supposed to eat that first or let it dissolve in the drink?) The drink was so tasty, and I loved the little crunchy bits , which stayed crisp even after soaking for hours! This was definitely a more indulgent, sweeter drink, but great for when you want to treat yourself to more than a typical latte. The bingsoos also look amazing, and I'm excited to try them when the weather gets nicer. All in all, I am so glad that a trendy cafe like Semicolon is within walking distance to my school, because I know I will be visiting often!

Yelp
A nice little spot off of Broadway Ave. The cafe is cute and clean and comfortable. Took my friends today while walking around and we got the matcha bomb, tiramisu late and a couple of the sandwiches - which was all so tasty! The staff was really kind and friendly. It's on the pricier end but all things considered, standard for NYC and totally worth it. I'll definitely be back!!
google avatar

Yelp
Cute new cafe in Washington Heights. Semicolon offers a variety of egg sandwiches, pastries, bingsoo, and drinks that are all pretty reasonably priced. The sandwiches were filling, and packaged very neatly. Also, the bread wasn't sliced all the way through to prevent the filling from spilling out, making them easier to eat! Social distancing guidelines are in place and there's even outdoor seating available, including a fire pit to provide some warmth. Seems like a great place for a quick bite or to get some studying/ work done. Will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
When I want a non multinational coffee chain with better coffee and working Wi-Fi this is what I am talking about. Their sandwich variety and quality for the price point is seldom matched, the coffee is good. I only drink black coffee, so I know good coffee. Go here, or don't, I don't want the secret to get out because I want the good tables to myself.
google avatar

Camly T.

Yelp
The drinks here feel really fancy and carefully made. I got the matcha bomb which is matcha with a shot of espresso. Since I don't drink espresso often, this was a good way to get in the caffeine I needed. I also got a sandwich which was pretty good.
google avatar

Jingwen Z.

Yelp
I've gone to this spot twice, once for chai and once for one of their signature sandwiches. The BEC sandwich was delicious, though a bit modest in size. The chai was pretty good, but the flavor was a tad weak. I also had their egg quiche or something (a savory pastry from their collection of already baked pastries), which didn't really leave an impression. Overall, this is a very cute store, better than the Caffe Bene it replaced, and a nice spot to grab a bite with friends in Washington Heights. I'm excited to see how they continue to grow and to try their shaved ice when it's warm.

Yelp
Nice lunch spot, the sandwiches are the standout items! The bread is delicious and they have creative flavors such as bulgogi. This is a great cafe to study and have coffee as well. Service was a little slow but partly due to the fact that it was a bit busy during lunch time.
google avatar

Yeraldin L.

Yelp
Pleasure to stumble across this business. There's a limited number of reasonably priced, delicious & comfortable cafes in the area. They have ample seating space, a varied menu and a cute aesthetic. Knocking a star because since they're still working out the new business kinks. The service can be slow since they can become really busy quite rapidly. It sucks since I can see that they're working hard but the wait can be long and that's a major drag. Still a solid 4.5 performance straight out the gate. You won't go wrong coming here.

Yelp
I came here for a coffee after the gym; and it was amazing. The outside seating caught my eye; they have a fireplace in the middle. It was very bright which I also like in a dining area. I purchased the tiramisu latte and it was amazing. It was not overly sweet and it looked so pretty. We also purchased the guava stick which was very fresh. I will definitely be back to try other items on the menu. The person who assisted me was wonderful; his name was P. Overall a wonderful experience and visually pleasing. My sister had the hot chocolate and she said it needed more sugar.

Yelp
I'm so excited this place is in my neighborhood!! It's unkind anything else in the area and great for brunch and lunch. The sandwiches are pretty filling too. The space is quite large and well decorated! They also have a great outdoor space. I definitely want to try the bingsu next time.

Yelp
I stopped by this clean trendy coffee shop. It's small and inviting. I was a bit put off by the prepackaged muffins in the front case but that not we came for. We had an avocado sandwich which is a version of 'sandwhich' - which is thick slices of buttered white bread toast and egg, lettuce, red onion and a red pepper Mayo". It was balanced and satisfying. There is something very ordered about semicolon and there is comfort about the orderliness.

Yelp
Excellent coffee, Non-dairy milk options, they also vegetarian sandwich options, (avocado and mushroom) I suspect the spread on bread is butter and the sauce spread is mayo but it could perhaps be made vegan (just avocado and bread). I wish they sourced their pastries from somewhere else because they taste a bit packaged, not as fresh as at other places nearby. But giving them a 5 start because they have great service, friendly and fast.

Yelp
This is by far the best place to chill with a coffee. Great for getting work done. Trust me: get the balck sesame bingsoo. Lifechanging! The service is always top-notch. The only way they could possibly improve is if they had late hours! But I'm sure that wouldn't be a sustainable business model. Wonderful, perfect, I come as often as I can.

Yelp
Racist. Don't come here. I tried to order a water because in order to get the wifi password you need to purchase something. It was 20 min till 7pm so it's not worth staying and The white guy in making the coffee in the front was rude from the first interaction I had trying to order something, then he told me they close at 7pm so I would leave. I checked online and called back to confirm-- they actually close at 8pm. Communicated this to the manager and she clearly didn't care. Horrible service. Foods not even good.
