Senza Gluten by Jemiko - 100% Gluten Free Cafe & Bakery

This cafe was amazing! 100% gluten free and everything tasted delicious. My non gluten free partner said it was the best lasagne that he has ever had. Hardest thing was choosing what to eat. Separate desert menu plus many more amazing cakes on display. Service was super friendly too. Will try and go back again before we fly out. Gluten free or not you have to give this place a try.

Absolutely superb! From the moment I stepped foot through the front door to the moment I stepped out, full and happy, I had a smile on my face. The atmosphere, inside and out, is warm and welcoming and the staff is equally as such. Being able to order anything I wanted off of the menu without worry of ingesting gluten was amazing. The food was beyond delicious and we ordered appetizers through desserts, as well as alcoholic beverages. I can’t wait to go back!

Super cute inside and cozy. It would be great for a Saturday low key brunch with your partner or friend. I had the eggs in tomato sauce and it came with sides including fries which I subbed for roasted potatoes (highly recommend doing that BTW they were delicious). I got an almond ricotta orange loaf slice to go and it is outstanding 👏👏👏 not cheap but what a treat.

Loved this place! Great service. I have several food allergies, and they took the time to go over the menu with me to make sure everything I ordered was safe. They also sell fresh baguettes and frozen gluten-free breads to take home, which is a huge plus. Highly recommend!

Everything gluten free that tastes great!! We had open bread pizza, wild mushroom ravioli, kale house salad and house wine. Yummy yummy yummy.. after the pizza we were enjoying everything that I forgot to take the photos of food :)

Loved the food & how old-time cozy this place is! Some of the best desserts I’ve ever had, actually can’t tell they’re gluten free which is very impressive and hard to do. I love the eclair (amazing custard filling) & the tiramisu. Decor details are so cute!!

We’re not gluten free but we really enjoy this place. Fresh, delicious food but quite small portions. The chicken salad and pancakes were our favorite items from this meal. We were curious to taste gluten free pancakes and they were a little more chewy (in a good way). Excellent service. We felt like we were in Europe somewhere.

Quaint little cafe. So cute. The staff is sweet. I was looking for something flaky after drinking a matcha and stumbled into this bakery. They didn't really have any flaky treats so I Ended up getting the banana bread because it was the most popular. Did not disappoint. I'll be back

Another gluten-free adventure in the city.   Senza Gluten by Jemiko 626 10th Ave, Manhattan, NY.  This place is like a hole in the wall, very narrow and only a couple of seats & seats at the counter. Not the best place for a large group.  Their brunch dishes look good when they bring them to the table. Definitely will be coming back for their other dishes.  Heard so much about their cinnamon rolls on social media. All I can say is looks could be disrespecting. It looks good, but it wasn't warmed up nor had enough icing. But it actually tastes like a Chinese coconut bun.  But I still couldn't taste any cinnamon.

Stopped by Senza by Jemiko with a friend who's gluten-free. She initially ordered the pancakes, but unfortunately, she found them lacking in flavor and didn't enjoy them much. She ended up switching to the chicken panini instead and really liked that one- said it was flavorful and satisfying. I had the poached eggs in tomato sauce, which came with salad, toast, and fries. I thought my dish was really good. The tomato sauce wasn't too acidic (which I appreciated), though it did need a little salt and I'd suggest more basil too for flavor- thankfully, there was salt on the table. I don't usually eat fries, but my friend did and loved them Service was great- attentive without being overbearing. My latte was delicious. A couple of notes on the space itself: I think the front room could look a little nicer if they moved the SafeServ certifications a bit further back on the wall and added a few pictures instead. Also noticed what looked like coffee stains/drips on the wall next to our table; a quick wipe-down would tidy up the appearance. Overall, a positive experience

I adore everything about this place! All of their offerings are gluten free - pasta, pizza, panini, pastries, cakes...They have ingredients listed on the menu and very clean. The atmosphere is a nice authentic NYC Italian which is hard to find when it comes to GF restaurants (most of them are too modern). If you or anybody you dine with have GF preference and miss authentic cozy Italian, this is a spot! You can order anything without any worry! I've got Lasagna and Bombolini. Never ever thought I would find these in GF options anywhere! And they tasted bomb! Not only the food was great, but also the customer service was the best part of this establishment. Everybody was so sweet and caring. Highly recommend for anybody who prefers GF or not!

Outdoor seating + Roulette of excellent and too-dry desserts - Cute ambiance + Variety options on menu for gluten-free eaters + Recommended by for gluten-free people with options for non-gf friends. Service was average. I had to go in and get help for my ordering. If I wasn't proactive, I might have gotten hangry.

This place was so cute, very very small so I recommend calling ahead if you plan on going. We had reserved a table but many were turned away due to space. The food was great, I genuinely wouldn't have been able to tell it was all gluten free. We went to celebrate our celiac friend's bday and she had a great experience and loved being able to eat the whole menu! I will say the service was rough, there was one waitress and I don't know what was going on in the kitchen but it was slow, it took about 15 minutes to get drinks and another 15 after that for food. I felt really bad for the one server she was clearly overwhelmed between drinks and service and the kitchen was having its own issues causing a backup. I would recommend this place to anyone who is gluten free! The Georgian bread was so unique I have never had anything like it GF or not!

My friend and I had a mission to find a gluten-free restaurant as she was visiting me out of the USA. I had never thought about trying that before, but I did not feel the difference between regular pasta and gluten-free. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating. The place has three small tables inside and outside the area. I ordered mushroom ravioli, which were delicious; it has a pleasant truffle smell to it. , though I would love to have more mushrooms, but this is me; I think the dish looked and tasted great. My friend got lasagna and tiramisu, and she was in heaven. She said it was delicious.

The paninis were so delish. We loved the chicken salad toast too! Cozy place, we look forward to going back.

This food is amazing and the best gluten free bakery around. We shared the eclair while we were there which was delicious! It was so good we had to bring some desserts home with us for later.

I didn't choose this place, and I probably never would. Brunch here was affordable but just okay taste-wise. My Chicken Noodle Soup was pretty bland. The Fries and Avocado Toast were better, but you can find these dishes anywhere. However, we need more GF spots for people who can't do gluten, so on that front, they have my support 100%.

Amazing bakery , the cheese bread is one of the most unique gluten free things I've ever eaten and a must. Brunch pizza is my favorite, and the bombolone is to die for as is the mushroom ravioli. Small space so it fills up fast!

Amazing. Traveled to New York City for the weekend and had an amazing breakfast. All gluten-free and so very delicious! The quiche is delicious and the crust is so good! The French toast, amazing, and the pancakes so Very good. The fries were fresh and crispy. A must try if you're in New York!

Great place if you're gluten free or looking for a great breakfast/lunch pastry. GF cinnamon roll was top notch, eclair was good and the chocolate zucchini muffin was great! Great service and espresso. Definitely will come back and take Togo red velvet for later

Found a gem in NYC! It can be tough finding restaurants we both enjoy since my husband has celiac and feels better at gluten-free places. Made our way over to the East side to try this place. Outdoor dining is offered, even though it was cold the space heaters kept us warm. Food was amazing, the bread was soft and fresh, really impressed by the presentation of the dish as well. Waiter was very polite. Never had a gluten-free dessert before, the chocolate ganache was very rich, would have been better warmed though. The owner, Jemiko, happened to be sitting next to us with company, it was very nice talking with him. The inside is very charming as well. Will stop by again when we are in the big apple

Very cute and cozy place! The waiter was super helpful explaining everything and answering all our questions regarding gluten and dairy free options. The Margarita pizza was amazing and gluten free bread was so good ! Definitely recommend this place and will be back!

We stopped into Senza Gluten to try their GF treats. The woman who helped was amazing! She asked what sensitivities we had and guided us to the most popular items. We left with a cinnamon roll, which the kids and spouse loved, and I had the almond loaf - so moist and delicious! They really care about your dietary needs - strongly recommend!

My favorite gf spot in NY Was surprised how great outside was this time . I saw new items on the menu . My server Imran was friendly and great of help. Im always happy to have my chocolate blueberry coconut item ( and it's vegan btw ). Margarita pizza must have here .

My wife has recently discovered she's gluten intolerant, so we must make our meal choices based on this. We tried Senza Gluten the other day, and it was delicious! My wife had avocado toast, and I had the Georgian cheese bread. We both were very happy with the food, and the server was super-pleasant and helpful. We will be back!

For health reasons, I'm only able to eat gluten free food, which has really limited the scope of what I'm able to consume. Finding Senza Gluten was a godsend; I got to have the lasagna for the first time in years! I ordered a cinnamon roll, tiramisu, and lasagna and everything tasted so fresh and simply amazing. It was about a 2 hour round trip for me to get there but I can confidently say it was worth it and I'll be returning. I hope they open more locations soon!

Everything we tried was delicious! The bread basket with olive oil, fried calamari, salad, lobster and shrimp...all of it was yummy! I need to go back soon because now I'm spoiled being able to order anything off the menu (I've been eating gluten free for 12 years since I found out I was gluten intolerant). If I lived in NYC I'd eat here every week!

It's always hard to find great gluten-free Italian, and I've loved Senza Gluten downtown so I had to try their Midtown location. It's so lovely! There's indoor and outdoor seating that's cozy and candlelit. The staff is knowledgeable about the menu and good with food sensitivities (not just gluten). The food was amazing--I'll have to come back to try the desserts because I didn't have room. I had the grilled chicken and had to get the pasta too--it's amazing that it's gluten-free! This is a great spot for a date night, pre-show dinner, or family dinner.

This place has a full dedicated gluten free menu of healthy, hearty, savory, and sweet options that are perfect for a mid day snack or a full weekend brunch. I didn't have time this visit, but next time I will absolutely be trying out one of the various gluten free beer options they have! Delicious!

Everything about this place was charming, from the cozy outdoor seating to the welcoming staff. We stopped in to try some savory gluten free baked goods and were convinced to sit outside and order something off of their menu. We ended up ordering their chicken soup, which came with four slices of a gluten-free baguette, along with some tea. It's great that they include their ingredients on their menu, even for their baked goods, so we knew exactly what went into the products. For a certified gluten-free cafe, everything was really good and they had a very wide selection. It's definitely a place you don't want to miss if you or someone you know is gluten-free.

In the realm of Gluten Free places ... especially when you are trying to cater to people with celiac's or strong gluten intolerances - this place is a godsend. Even the non celiacs enjoyed their cheesecake. Is it the same as a top tier traditional cheese cake - no. However it impressively remains tasty regardless of being gluten free or not. The bomboloni had more of a noticeable textural difference but by no means were they bad also in fairness it probably would have tasted better eaten right away when still warm then once it cooled down. Separately the staff was very personable and friendly even while they were in the weeds on a busy Sunday during the hellish brunch rush This place tries, cares and succeeds in what they set out to do

Amazing haven for the gluten free who walk among us. Wow! So many options, snacks and meals, sweet and savory. This easily earned a return visit. In part because my non-GF foodie pal loves her cinnamon roll to excess. Come one, come all.

Delicious GF goodies for even your non- friends (Disclaimer: grew up on East coast but lived in CA for the last 15 yrs) Eclair: Taste 5/5 - if you like your eclair filled with some weight to it - you should try it! Price 3/5 - it is probably on the pricier side but most GF items are and being in NY, so you're not getting a deal, but if you haven't had a good eclair since before you could eat gluten, it's worth it! Ambiance 5/5 - service is great, and it's a cute smaller store with outdoor seating. You don't feel rushed and service is attentive and kind. Bread: 5/5 - my husband (also born/raised on East coast) said he could not believe it was GF. Served warm with delicious butter Smoked salmon: 5/5 - just the right amount of saltiness, thick slices but not too thick, perfectly to pair on top of a slice of their delicious bread. Overall how good was it? So good, I didn't have any pictures of the bread and or smoked salmon because I devoured them. DEVOURED.

Came here on a whim for a quick Sunday treat and I was pleasantly surprised! The staff are really attentive and helpful, the place is cozy, and has an outdoor area for eating (follows all COVID restrictions). They have a variety of GF options (including beer!) and a refrigerator with ready-made GF breads to buy! All of their items have ingredients written on them and other places should take note because we live in a world were allergies and preferences are becoming more and more prevalent. I ordered the ham and cheese scone while it was hearty I do wish there was more cheesy goodness, they were generous with the ham which warmed my heart! I also had an amazing herbal tea that I can't remember the name of. I really enjoyed going and will definitely be a repeat customer for my lazy Sunday's.

Really nice ,clean and friendly cafe. There isnt many gluten free places ,an Senza has it all ! Favorite is the shortbread cookies ...excellent ! If you ever get to NYC ,check this excellent cafe out !

It was our first time here and this place seem to boast a menu worthy of not only gluten free dinner options, but also a delectable list of gluten free pastries which my wife sampled today. She got the bolboloni alla nutella which is also like a doughout dough but with nutella on top. Many people seem to raved about this and so my wife had to try. They do heat up the bolboloni for you and while my wife enjoyed it, it paled in comparison to the ganache topped mini chocolate cake. This one really took her breath away as it had a nice touch of the bittersweet chocolate, orange zest, and grand mariner. They also had items for sale in a mini fridge and freezer. We will definitely go back and the staff service was outstanding.

for as much as i would like to support gluten free places. the prices of baked goods have gone up tremendously!!! eclair $9.75 ridiculous! bombolonis the same! this is crazy!! pls lower your prices back sadly i will not be returning to this place! they have gone crazy with their prices!!!!!! $12 for a super small tiny eclair, bombolini etc... they are really robbing people in need, all around the world gluten free is considered a health condition and bakeries do not take advantage of this, they actually charge regular price as if it wasnt gluten free shame on you! with your crazy prices! seriously!!!!!

Stopped in yesterday to pick up a tasty treat! They had quite a few options and the guy working was very helpful in explaining everything. I settled on the chocolate bomboloni. It was delectable! Even for being gluten free! They do only accept cash or Amex though, so as a heads up!

This place was really busy on a Sunday morning. I recommend making a reservation, but we got a spot in their outdoor shed and it was heated and comfortable. The spinach quiche was very good! Even my gluten eating husband loved it. The cinnamon roll was good for being gluten free. I would probably try the eclair next time because they looked amazing.

My daughter is celiac and always wantIng to try new places ouTside of westchester ny . This place is super cute, small and intimate with a vintage antique vibe. Not mucH seating but it's a Wednesday and not too busy! I got the ham and cheese quiche which came with a spinach salad and roasted potatoes. My daughter had the truffle eggs in a hole and that came with the same potatoes and salad. Both Very good! They also have many gf baked goods that look delish and she'll get one on the way out! Update: the winner ww They only take cash or Amex so come prepared! Update: my daughter got the red velvet cake! And it was sooooo good!!

This place is THE BEST for Gluten Free dining. Everything is delicious, fresh, flavorful and best of all celiac safe!

This little gem is a must stop each time in NYC. the place is a whole vibe. From the music to the excellent service. The sandwiches are amazing and the avocado toast is the best. Bread, muffins and cinnamon rolls can be vouched for as well. consumed rapidly - not to forget the chocolate chip cookies in bulk to go....it's almost like being a gluten eating human with the lavish and multiple options all GF! heaven. seriously. love.

Unfriendly. Unhelpful. Overpriced crap. The pictures for this place look incredible. It was my birthday and I was attempting to celebrate while visiting the city. I order one single slice of cake and an eclaire. The eclaire was four inches, at best and it was a single piece of cake. That was $22. The eclaire was good, yet small. But the cake was awful. Dry. And just gross. I ended up throwing more than half of it away. Idk how this place has so many good reviews. Just because it's gluten free doesn't mean it's good. I've had so much better for less.

This tiny little spot truly is heaven for the gluten-free. I got a bombolone and a cinnamon roll, and both were spectacular and totally comparable to their glutinous counterparts. Was it pricy? A little...but who cares? Delicious.

An absolute gem in NOHO. My daughter has celiac, and in our visit to NYC, I researched top Gluten Free options for the family to seek out. This place, of all the options, was her hands down favorite. She was in heaven, knowing everything was 100% GF. The quality was amazing and the tastes even better. I can't recommend this place enough.

Very cute ambiance and nice service. Perfect if you're celiac or gluten intolerant. My friend is and so we went and she was thrilled to get to have pizza. I tried a slice and it was actually legit. And of course she loved it. We'd come back if we lived here in NYC. And the concept of a whole bakery that's GF is pretty cool. Thanks guys! Easy 5 stars for the gluten free crowd and I didn't mind at all coming along.

Best GLUTEN FREE IN NY. Their coffee, sweets, bread and food are 100% gluten free. I highly recommend for people with Celiac!

Such a cute cafe! Huge fan of the restaurant so we took a walk over to the cafe. The women working was very sweet and helpful. Decor was super cute. They offered wine , coffee and deserts. We tried the chocolate cake , red velvet and an eclair. My favorite was the red velvet .. best I've had. I also had a ice latte which was made very nicely and tasted great. Posted on Instagram and had so many messages of others wanting to go ! Had so many gluten free and some dairy free options.. Definitely will be back!!

Fabulous food and amazingly kind and attentive staff and service. My dietary restrictions are a bit daunting and make eating out a challenge. The lovely ladies that make this place such a delight were incredibly accommodating and made for a wonderful dining experience. The treats cannot be missed and anything you choose is absolutely delicious!

This bakery has delicious treats and meals. Also the cafe gives off a cozy environment. Dachi gave us outstanding service! Would recommend for others to go :)

If you eat gluten free or have a friend that does.. you need to visit this cafe/bakery. We found this gem of a cafe yesterday. I'm sad I no longer live in the city or I would be here weekly.. but I am excited to visit again. Atmosphere is wonderful. A cozy cafe with a large selection of fresh gluten free baked goods, an entire brunch and dinner menu and frozen goods to purchase as well. Indoor or outdoor seating. Friendly and helpful staff. Cash or Amex only. (Trust me cash is best with small businesses! They have to pay a % to credit card processing companies) I walked in and upon seeing their selection.. I started to tear up. It's silly but having celiac has prevented me from enjoying these little things in life.. and this place made me feel included again. That I could enjoy beautiful food without worrying. We sat on the outside patio and had a chocolate eclair and coffee... yum! And purchased a few items to go. My only regret is we did not buy more!! Tonight we tried the Almond Ricotta Orange Loaf (straight from the freezer because I was too excited to even let it thaw) and it was incredible.

Senza Gluten Cafe & Bakery. Is just wonderful. After I found out about the restaurant, I though there is nothing more I can dream about, but then I found the bakery, just 3 mins of walk from the restaurant... And they have even more gluten free treats!!.. even Eclaires! Different cakes.. so delicious! And adore this cosy table next to the window, with lots of pillows... feels like I'm sitting @ home, with a wonderful view and lots of different tasty food, which is served by cosy waiters :) Would live here with pleasure :) Thank you that you exist!
