I've been wanting to come here for the longest time, and I'm glad I finally did after two years! I ordered ahead of time so I could just pick up and eat in their little outdoor area. I ordered their Korean fried chicken--10/10! My brother ordered the beef bulgogi--10/10! Love, love, love!!! The order was ready for pickup when I got there! And the owner is super kind. We got there around almost 3 p.m. they close at 3pm & I asked if we could eat on the patio. He said yes, that they close the patio around 3:30, which was perfect--enough time to eat. I totally recommend people try these delicious bento boxes!

Tried out this spot today and had the pleasure of meeting the fantastic staff/owner. While the location initially caught me off guard, the food blew me away, and I hope they keep things where they are for the sake of their business. Now, let's talk about the highlights: the patio's atmosphere is simply brilliant, giving off a vibe that transports you from the neighborhood. They've succeeded in making it feel personal and secure, plus it's impressively clean. For my first visit, I went with the Pork Belly – the food prep wait time was reasonable, and the presentation was noteworthy. The serving trays were generously spacious, and while the portions were nicely portioned (a tad small for my greedy self), it all exuded a 5-star feel. I'm genuinely pleased with my choice to dine here. Words that sum up my experience include tasty, quick service, scrumptious, left me wanting more, clean, and overall great food. I really like coming here to treat myself around once a month. Having tried their menu over time I can say its once of the best Korean spots in the area. This place always has the best food.

I LOVE this place for a quick bento pickup. Reminded me of the Broken Mouth (cheap eats that create food explosions in your mouth). Salad dressing is like crack. All the dishes are amazing. Support small businesses like this one. They deserve it!

Very small portions. It might look like a lot, but it's spread out in a thin layer. The only tasty item was the sausage imo, but it kind of tastes like hot dog. Guess it's just not for me

This place is sooo good! I ordered the pork belly doshirak and i loved every part of it. Just a little of everything creates balance! The pork was my favorite part, i haven’t tasted pork so good and smokey just delicious 🤤 its a must go if you can find a chance. I put 4 starts due to the schedule, would be nice if they were open weekends or just a but later on weekdays.

This place is so legit. I went by today and had a super easy experience ordering food and let me tell you - their food is so freaking good. I ordered their fried chicken box and the sides that goes with fried chicken is just *chef’s kiss*. Highly recommend to check this spot out!!!

I have been wanting to try this spot for ages now and I finally went! It's a small shack in between Filipino town and DTLA. It's in a strange location, but I like it! I got the KFC doshirak and my bf got the kalbi sausage. Both were delicious but the sausage was definitely a winner. The only gripe is that we wish the sausage portion was a bit larger! Everything else in the doshirak was delicious and we cleaned it up! Overall, we decided it's going to be our once a week lunch outing!

Delicious food, prepared to order, with quality fresh ingredients. The staff took care to ask which toppings we wanted and fill each request individually as customers desired. I was lucky to try them at a popup. Exciting since they won the food truck race, and I can see why!

Awesome service, and super flavorful and delicious food! I got the bulgogi lunch box with a side of chicken. My only wish is that they were open longer hours and on the weekends!

Easy 5 stars for this little lunch spot. I think it might be the best lunch I've had since I started working in this part of town. The portions are perfect. You get a little bit of everything. My combo came With rice, salad, chicken sausage, Kim chi, Mac salad, dumplings, orange slices, and some sauce. I can't wait to go back and try all their other combos. I think I might be hooked on this place.

First time customer. I was craving some Korean food and this happened to be a block away from my work. Has all great reviews maybe because of the sausage they serve but i wanted the beef bulgogi. I'm not even Korean but this does not taste like beef bulgogi rather tasted like fililino beef bistek without the onions. Even the meat cuts were like beef bistek and not the typical thinly sliced ribeye. It's usually made with ribeye cuts that are thinly sliced with marinade and on a sweeter note. The sauce that was placed in my box must have been soy sauce since there was no sweetness at all and more salty flavor. So i had to change my frame of mind that I'm eating Filipino food instead. My coworker ordered the chicken sausage and said it was good. Not great or wow factor so i guess next time I will try the pork sausage.

Bought some frozen kalbi pork sausages and made some awesome dishes at home with them. Super tasty -- adds so much flavor to a simple dish! We also had the bentos and enjoyed them in their outdoor dining area. Very cute little place -- I love a place that serves food through a window! Will definitely be back for more!

This place is delicious and amazing. Perfectly hits the spot. I love all the different items you can get and all the side dishes that come in the box. Considering it's Super Healthy too, I'm coming back all the time

Six in our group preordered a variety of doshirak from $13 to $21. Ordering online which is what they prefer was easy, but some of us had trouble with how to switch the delivery time because the website wasn't clear. Even when we preordered, our friend who picked all the orders up was delayed because the line was so long at 12:30pm. Food was delicious! My Kalbi sausage was moist and so was the over easy egg. A friend who had the sweet and spicy chicken sausage said the chicken was not too spicy, just a little for enough kick. Everyone marveled at the presentation of the sturdy, beautiful boxes of the larger doshirak meals and enjoyed our meals. We took our lunches to nearby Vista Hermosa Park, ate at the picnic tables and walked around the lovely park because Seoul Sausage Company said we had to preorder our meals in order to reserve their limited seating. We opted for a more scenic eating area.

Decided to postmate this spot since I've heard so much about it! Their physical location is a bright yellow building right outside of downtown They specialize in dosirak which is Korean lunch boxes with a protein, seasoned rice, and various sides like kimchi and Mac salad - Smoked Pork Belly Set: the smoky flavor paired so well with the juicy and tender pork belly! All the sides this came with were amazing! I love that the rice is seasoned and frozen grape is such a good touch that reminded me of my childhood - Korean Fried Chicken Set: got to try my friend's KFC as well and it was tasty! The sauce was on point and it even came with little radish pieces! instead of a green onion salad, it came with the classic KFC cabbage salad! Overall such a filling and satisfying lunch box! Everything is delicious and well packaged and perfect for a picnic in LA

First time trying this little spot and I must admit that the food was delicious. Only thing I have to bitch about is that the food is a bit pricey for the amount of food you receive. But you also have to put into consideration of where they are located and the rise in food prices all across the board. So I'm not trying to be a hater. I'm just keeping it real and I will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

I've been a fan of Seoul sausage for over a decade and it's been great seeing them grow, and reinvent themselves through the years. The window is actually thus far my favorite iteration of the whole thing. The food has gotten better over the years too. We came and got the Seoul pack which includes the kimchi pasta, the bulgogi cheeseburger egg rolls, the bacon scallion pancakes, moms egg rice with smoked pork belly, and k-pastor tacos, all the favorite items of the latest great food truck race all stars. Everything was delicious!! My favorites are definitely the pork belly egg rice, the cheeseburger bulgogi egg rolls. Parking wasn't too difficult and there is a cute little outdoor patio to the side. Bring the whole family!!

Food is great! Service was really slow bc they focus on their to go orders rather than the customers who actually go sit to eat and it's really pricey. They are nice though.

Love this place!! I love the sausage of course but all the dishes are tasty and crave-worthy. I came by to eat the mini Doshirak & they were soooo good! The restaurant itself is cozy and cute located in LA. I'll be back to order some more & will let you guys know when I need future catering. Thanks Seoul Sausage!!!

4.5 stars rounded up This is a cute restaurant where you order from a window. Gives me Korea vibes. They don't have an indoor area to eat but right next to the building, there is a long picnic table where you can eat. They're only open Monday-Friday from 11am-3pm so you have to catch them during lunch!! I love lunch boxes because you get to try a little bit of everything. Carbs, protein, and veggies - a well balanced meal. We got 2 doshiraks (lunch boxes) both have macaroni salad, kimchi, rice, dumplings, fermented jalapeño slices, salad, orange slices, and your choice of meat. -Pork Belly: was dry and pretty tough to eat. You can tell by the photo that it was cooked too long. Disappointed :( -Korean fried chicken: was SO juicy and flavorful! -an odd side to comment on is the macaroni salad. Idk what made it so good haha. It was so smooth and not drenched in Mayo like some places. We also got the bulgogi cheeseburger roll which literally tasted like a burger egg roll! Haha it was trippy. It was so crispy and the sauce complimented it very well.

When you drive up, you can't help but notice how this place stands out. The name Seoul Sausage makes you think it'll be a meat and potatoes kind of place and the menu downplays the complexity you'll get to experience here. But when you get your beautiful package of food, you'll realize the thought that went into arranging your meal. From the individual compartments to the various mini courses built into the box. I had the veggie sausage with a side of KFC. Literally each item, from the Mac salad to the frozen grapes to the sausage and dumplings. All delicious balanced flavors that hit the spot. Thanks for the amazing meal! Will be back again.

Simply delicious! I ordered this on a whim for lunch and am very satisfied! The rice was cooked perfectly, mac salad seasoned perfectly and didn't have too much mayo, salad was fresh and came with my fave korean dressing, the veggie dumplings were cooked to perfection and weren't too oily, the kimchi was good but was a little mild for my taste, and finally the oranges slices were sweet and tasty. This place will definitely be my go to lunch spot when I'm craving Korean!

chicken sausage lunch box delivery hit the spot. sausage was just enough, macaroni salad was not too tart or sweet like some mac salads can be, and the salad was green and crisp with great dressing. not to mention the fresh kimchee and nicely pickled jalapeños to pop in between bites. We added the kimchee fried rice balls which are basically korean flavored aranchini, which i compliment in the best way possible. we be back.

This place didn't just exceed my expectations, it blew them out of the water! We did the pre-order and it was all ready when we got there. The staff was grateful and friendly. The presentation of the food was on point. And most importantly, the food was INCREDIBLE! I need a gallon of the kimchi! We got the fried Chicken and the pork belly. We couldn't decide which one we liked more. If you're debating on places to eat for lunch, look no further then Seoul Sausage!

Details.. .. We've been following Seoul Sausage since their first appearance on Food Network's Great Food Truck Race years back. They were recently back on an "All Stars" round & definitely should've taken first place again, but they were ROBBED! We've since visited their food truck, first storefront, etc. Ted & Yong (the brothers behind SS) are super nice & humble guys. They come from an immigrant family (like many Asian Americans) & just want to share their culture through amazing food. Super respectable passion & although the pandemic was difficult for most everyone, I'm glad to see these guys were able to pull through with a cool new concept! prOs.. .. EVERYTHING. Just everything. I think this is the first official weekend that they're open & they're currently serving up hits from the All Stars season of GFTR. After watching & drooling at home for weeks, I'm so beyond excited that we had a chance to try some of the food. .. We pre-ordered the Seoul Pack (which is one of everything on the menu). 5 (amazing) items for $55?! That's SUCH a good deal. They say the serving size is 2 people, but we are beyond stuffed & had some left over to take home. .. The food is either made to order or finished when you check in. Even though they said 10-15 mins, it honestly was prob closer to 5-7 min wait time. Very efficient kitchen. .. Everything was packaged & presented with restaurant-like sophistication. .. There is a cute little semi-shaded patio area next to the window to sit & enjoy your food if you're not taking it to go. .. Now, onto the important stuff - the food! .. Bacon Scallion Pancake - This dish encompassed a lot of classic Korean flavors & is super hearty. I'm not even normally a fan of scallions, but I'm a fan of this! .. Bulgogi Cheeseburger Egg Roll** - These were fantastic! The filling was a fun twist on a cheeseburger & the dipping sauce was like a creamy sweet & sour sauce. Sounds strange, but totally works. .. K-Pastor Hardshell Tacos w/Shin Magic Dust Chips - Ok, so the tacos were great. The pastor was delicious, the pineapples brought a sweetness to balance the hot sauce, the crunch, BUT GUYS.. the CHIPS. Omg. So good. I could eat a bucket of those. Whatever shin magic dust is, I need more in my life to sprinkle on everything!! .. Mom's Egg Rice w/Smoked Pork Belly** - This dish made the guys cry on the finale because it encompassed so much of the sacrifice of their parents & the simple dishes that just bring so much comfort. It was my favorite dish of the day & very much spoke to my Asian soul. The rice was perfectly cooked & seasoned (just a hint of sesame), the egg was master class perfection, & the pork belly was outrageously crisp, juicy, & thick! .. Kimchi Pasta w/Garlic Shrimp** - So, I love pasta, but I'm not the biggest fan of kimchi. Even so, I was very much looking forward to trying this & boy did it not disappoint. So. Much. Flavor. The shrimp was perfectly cooked. The pasta was textbook al dente. This was the hubs favorite of the day & that man isn't even a pasta person! ** = Dishes that won challenges on GFTR All Stars no cOns.. HORRAY! .. But, seriously, I couldn't even complain about parking despite this being in LA because the street they're on wasn't even that bad to find a spot on. final thOughts.. .. We'll definitely be back & are big fans. Can't wait to see some of their other classics on the menu in the future. Wishing the Seoul Boys (men?) nothing but success in all their endeavors living out the American Dream!

Super excited to see this new project unfold! These guys did amazing on the recent Great Food Truck Race "All Stars" season and according to the internet, should be the actual winners. I concur. Anyways, loving this little gem. On 2nd near the 110, you won't miss the bright yellow building with blue accents. Just know that if you see a yellow building, go towards it. Amazing food awaits. I purchased the kit today which pretty much has the whole menu on it. It's meant for 2 but it's enough food for 3 or maybeeee 4! Love that they cover a classic like the scallion pancake. The cheese sauce on the bulgogi cheeseburger eggrolls is crack. If you're feeling some crunch go for the k pastor hard shell tacos though I wish the shin magic dust was on everything. Everything. The garlic shrimp in the kimchi pasta is cooked to perfection!!! And now the Mom's egg rice with pork belly... this dish is iconic. If you don't know what I'm talking about, just look at Seoul Sausage's highlights from the season finale. Something about this dish just warms my freaking heart to the max.

BEST KIMCHI I'VE EVER HAD!!! I inhaled both of ours and really wanted to buy their whole supply home! They have interesting sausage choices. We tried the kalbi sausage and sweet & spicy sausage. We preferred the sweet & spicy one, because the kalbi one was a bit too sweet for us, but the sauce, kimchi, and vinaigrette salad helped balance it out. The dosirak (korean lunch box) packaging was so elegant, and the frozen grapes sent me back to my childhood Super friendly service, and clean and relaxing patio to eat your dosiraks

Food was delicious with great presentation. A bit pricey, but you get a lot of food for lunch. The food is high quality, so you feel good after eating. I personally always get the fried rice balls which come with a tasty aioli sauce. The restaurant is very small, but the outside patio where you sit is very charming. I highly recommend this place!

This spot is tucked into the middle between a freeway and a bridge, situated as a bright yellow building. They specialize in dosirak, which is Korean lunch boxes with protein, seasoned rice, and various side dishes. The selections came out fresh and delicious, with the smoked pork belly coming out juicy and tender. When paired with the side of rice and nori seasoning, the flavors really do give quite a satisfaction. The lunch boxes also comes with fruit as well, which can be a nice addition to balance out the other savory flavors after you finish eating too.

I've been big fans of Seoul Sausage since the pandemic began. We ordered some of their pick-up orders and tried all kinds of fun inventive dishes. We became such big fans that we invited them to cater our wedding and they accepted! Having Korean BBQ at a wedding was a huge hit! My cousin was such a big fan that she also wants to hire them.

Seoul sausage reminds me of home. With the cutest cozy patio space, it feels like a great little getaway. I had the pork belly doshirak, bulgogi cheeseburger and kimchi fried rice balls. The rice balls had the perfect heat & crunch, the dumplings were nice & crispy, and the smoked pork belly with kimchi is just divine. I love that they switch up the menu from time to time and we get to experience their creativity!

I had recently noticed the bright yellow building on my commute so good choice on the color since it worked on me. Now for the food. I ordered the bulgogi cheeseburger egg rolls and they were delicious. I had to wait for a bit before consuming them as when I bit into them, I was met with very hot oil bursting out of them and it burned my skin pretty good. I'll chalk that up to them being very fresh from the fryer and more my error than theirs. Nothing some aloe can't remedy. I think it's an aioli they make in house that's served with it along with some julienned scallions which provides a nice bite to contrast the richness. I also ordered the Mom's Egg Rice with Smoked Pork Belly, which tasted under seasoned for my taste. Here's a disclaimer as I am not an expert in Korean cuisine by any means, but I felt the rice was a blank canvas and I should've asked for some house chili sauce or something besides the salt and pepper that came in the utensil kit. The egg was cooked perfectly with a runny yolk but the pork belly was not what I hoped for. I will say when you look at the menu, it does say the pork belly is "smoked", not crispy which I hoped it would have been. I detected slight smokiness but not distinct and the texture was chewier than I liked. Perhaps next time I'll ask for the pork belly to be crisped in the fryer and it'll be just what I'm looking for. Again, I'm no expert on a traditional Korean serving of this dish so please don't mind me. I also wanted to make mention of the Kim Brothers, who run the place. I really could see their emotional tie into their work today. There were sitting on the patio with someone who seemed like a potential business partner. I appreciated that one of them greeted me even though they were in a business meeting. I also saw that this business partner did not eat all of the food that they were served. One of the brothers offered to box up the remaining food and the potential business partner declined. The look on both of their faces as one of the brothers reluctantly and sadly placed their work of art into the garbage was very telling of all the work they put into their product and how they feel about food waste.. I felt sad as well as I watched this and that compelled me to add this portion at the end. Overall I enjoyed my experience and I will return but I'll order something else or tweak my order to my taste. I wish the Kim family well is this endeavor, they have my support.

Was super excited to try all of the food from the show and all of it was as good as it looked. Favorite was the taco which was hard shell taco and slightly reminded me of a Taco Bell hard shell but jazzed up. OooOoo. Would def go back for that. They are changing the menu starting next week and adding some of the old school SS faves like the kfc and the sausages. Will be back to try. We went a little before noon on Friday and there was ample street parking. Patio is nice.

This place is hands down one of the best places to eat in LA. They have so much passion and creativity in their food, you can taste it.

We ordered the Seoul Pack that allowed Seoul Sausage to win most, if not all, the challenges during the Great Food Truck Race. Still can't believe they didn't win but regardless, we got more than what we bargained for. We had enough leftover to eat the next day. I especially loved the cheeseburger egg rolls but don't get me wrong, everything else that we tried from the bacon scallion pancake, mom's egg rice with pork belly, kimchi pancake to the kpastor were all delicious. I highly recommend Seoul Sausage.

We had Seoul Sausage cater lunch at my work today and it was soooooo good! This was by far the best catered lunch we've had. Tried their chicken and sausages, both were delicious!

Seoul Sausage always remains one of my all-time favorite food in LA! (Hopefully becoming in national favorite food!!) I had 4 food this time, Kimchi pasta with garlic shrimp, Mom's egg rice with smoked pork belly (which is "Gae ran bap"), Eggrolls, K-Pastor hardshell tacos with chips. Seriously, I cannot pick which one would be the best because all of them were best to me!! I really love the food and also the place was really nice! I would definitely come again and get the food very often!

Got the KFC Doshirak. Boneless, sweet and spicy Korean fried chicken was very good! Great food and very welcoming. Nice patio area too.

Great lunch option near Good Samaritan hospital. I kept passing the bright yellow storefront and finally got a chance to try it today! What a great doshirak--presentation is great, the food was great and all the little compartments complement each other. Good kimchi too. The frozen grapes reminded me of my childhood, like a Ratatouille flashback!

Visited here to see what the hype was about and it was worth it! I would definitely recommend the Seoul pack if you like a variety of food and tend to have everyone order something different so you can share! And it's a good value for tasting everything on the menu. The menu items are creative and fun to eat - and the service was efficient and kind. The cheeseburger bulgogi egg rolls and the pork dish were our favorites. Will definitely come back soon!

Ever watch a food show and wish that you could eat the food they're making on tv? That's what you get at the window at Seoul Sausage - serving serious heat that won them a season of Great Food truck race and led to a runner up in the All Star season. We got the Seoul Pack, which is basically the entire menu. There are only a handful of spots in LA putting out Korean fusion on this level (RIP Spoon by H): crispy bulgogi egg rolls, kimchi pasta with shrimp, bacon scallion pancakes and the egg over rice with pork belly - which is pretty much a Korean childhood in a bowl. You can taste why Chef Han dunked on all the other chefs on the show by winning every food challenge. Looking forward to what this place comes up with in the future!

Incredible food and service!! Always 10/10 quality. Their Doshirak boxes are delicious and have a wide variety of Korean foods inside.
