"For modern Eastern Mediterranean fare — casual by day, more formal by night Ozcan Ozan of the now-closed Sultan’s Kitchen — a former downtown Boston staple for Turkish lunch — is opening Servia in Boston’s historic Cunard Building this spring, with executive chef Claudio Cavalleri onboard. The Servia team is describing the restaurant as “modern Eastern Mediterranean,” and its daytime and nighttime personalities will be a bit different. By day, past Sultan’s Kitchen fans will be pleased to find that Servia is a casual, takeout-friendly spot. By night, it’ll be more of a formal sit-down experience, and there will also be a meze-focused bar with wine and cocktails. Spring 2020" - Rachel Leah Blumenthal, Terrence Doyle

The set-up, colours, and interior 👌🏾 made me feel important and cherished. Everything about this restaurant is incredible. There's a lot of intentionality manifested in the colours of the tablecloths, the art on the walls, the plates, and the food. Service is equally intentional, kind, attentive, and quickly responsive. This restaurant is welcoming to all. I went here to meet up with my friends. I'd recommend it for that, dates, or formal dinners. Did I say it's affordable?

Not going again. Service is terribly slow (on weekday for dinner and that in downtown) And when food finally came, it was a wrong dish. Zucchini chips were way too salty so as falafel. Falafel by itself were still fine but falafel salad wasn’t tasty at all. I don’t understand why Italian dishes are on the menu like orzo pasta with butternut squash (with cinnamon) - nah doesn’t taste as good as it sounds.

Google
Servia is a restaurant whose food, service, and ambiance is up to par to be placed in the list of Boston's best. Maybe out of ignorance, but I don't know another restaurant in Boston that elevates Mediterranean food the way they do. The highlight of our visit is reading a menu that makes me wish it were prix fixe so I we could try it all and having a server that saw our enthusiasm for it and helped take the reigns and recommend options as well as surprise us with others. All of the dishes were flavorful and exciting to try. It wasn't a basic steak with sides - every dish whether a main or appetizer had a central focus with something accompanying it, whether a dip or vegetable mix that was as much a part of the plate and experience as the focus. I can't wait to come back and continue making my way through this menu. At Servia, my recommendation would be that you shouldn't order food just to fill yourself but to appreciate the amazing work that goes into each dish.

Google
The vibes in this place are off. It was almost empty when we went for dinner and the music was far too loud. Also it was slow musical theater music which was strange for the restaurant. The food was alright. Nothing amazed me. I was hoping to find good Greek food in Boston, but this is not it.

Google
We enjoyed an exceptional dining experience with our group of seven, which included four children. Our hostess, Jordan, demonstrated remarkable knowledge, care, and attentiveness during our Friday evening dinner. The culinary highlights featured delectable plates such as the specialty house burger, moussaka, salmon, and lobster pasta. The overall service was superior, and the quality of the food surpassed our expectations. We highly recommend this establishment to anyone visiting Boston!

Google
It is a great Mediterranean option near Quincy Market. The hummus was great, but I don’t think I will be repeating the Greek & Chips, it wasn’t bad, yet it didn’t shine at all. The service was great, and the ambience is not my style so something to improve from my point of view.

Google
Underrated contemporary mediterranean restaurant that deserves more attention. Came in on a Friday night during the peak hours, and the restaurant was fairly empty. We were initially unsure if we had made the right choice, but the food and service throughout the evening were excellent. For the appetizers, we shared the lamb cigar rolls and Greek bruschetta. Both were great, but the true highlight of the meal was the entrées. Topped with pomegranate marinade and wild berry compote, the grilled lamb chops were the best I’ve had in Boston. Duck & orange gastrique was also amazing as the rich flavors of the mushroom farrotto nicely complemented the meat. We also tried some of the classic Mediterranean dishes such as the Moussaka and the Aqua Pazza, and both were good as well. The finale of our meal was the pasha pillow. It was quite similar to Baklava but extremely light and airy with cream fillings. I also liked the pistachio and rose petal toppings, and it was definitely one of the most unique desserts I’ve had in my recent memory. Overall, our experience at Servia exceeded our expectation, and I would definitely come back to try their 8-course tasting menu.

The food is fantastic, wonderful quality and great experience. Service is high level Friendly even asking modification of menu. they change often he menu but ask for the ravioli with pear sauce witch is fantastic We been twice and the male waiter was fantastic, i hope you get to meet him

Yelp
Came to Servia after work for my birthday with my wife and mother. Had the place to ourselves which was really nice. The staff was very friendly and gave great suggestions on the menu and drinks. We got a the grilled mixed souvlaki to share which was delicious. Something different than the typical meal in Boston that I would highly recommend.

Coleen B.

Yelp
Food and wine were fantastic but Jordan really made our visit special. He was so friendly, helpful with menu suggestions and funny. He recommended a red wine for my husband and a white for me and both were excellent. We are vegetarian so we ordered the tomato and burrata salad, fried potatoes, hummus, and a mushroom farro dish, all of which were delicious, and paired so well with our wines. Thanks, Jordan for such a lovely evening.

Rojan J.

Yelp
Great Greek food; the fried feta is amazing! Clean interior and friendly service, the chef herself came to our table to say hi :) This place needs to be more crowded, hidden gem in the North End

Jared L.

Yelp
I wish I had taken some photos but I was focused on the amazing food. Beautiful modern ambiance and a nice view of State Street, Servia is the best Mediterranean food I've had in years. Their roasted lamb shank served in a clay pot was one of the most delicious dishes I've had in a long time. Highly, highly recommend for anyone en route to the airport or visiting the ports or financial district of Boston.

Yelp
Food was ok, but the service ruined it. We went there for our son drop off to college and last night dinner with our family of 8 people. We were told a number of items on the menu were "not available today." When we ordered an item not initially excluded, we were told "oh, that is not available either." We waited literally one hour after sitting to get any drinks or food (not even bread!). When our meals finally came, one item was missing. They told us "oh that one was over-cooked we have to remake it." Another delay. The server was unpleasant and not apologetic. The excuse was "short staffed." Not going back.

Brian N.

Yelp
Delicious apps (hummus, octopus, brussel sprouts) and meals (sea bass, roasted chicken) . Nice modern takes and complex versions of classics. Great servers. Atmosphere is clean and simple, not as great as the food but certainly in time.

Yelp
Having seen the reviews and after looking at everything on the menu, this was going to be a great place for our last meal - or so we thought. We started off with a few appetizers, both of which were a little bland. The stuffed zucchini blossoms were VERY bland and needed some sort of salt or sauce to give them some life and were very disappointing. The lamb cigar rolls were ok, but were supposed to come with a dipping sauce, but instead had a few dots of the sauce on the rolls themselves, and thus were a little dry and could have been much better and more flavorful. My wife got the lamb chops. They were good, but not as tender as we had hoped, and a little small. I got the duck and orange gastrique, and I really liked my meal. It was very good - easily the best dish of the night. When we got the bill, we saw we had been charged $8 a glass for 'sprite', which was actually lemonade, and not told that it was per glass, or what the cost would have been for the 'sprite' - otherwise we would have stuck to water. My one meal was not worth the overall bad experience we had here.

Meena C.

Yelp
My husband and I came here on our last night in Boston. I was intrigued by the menu and we were excited to try everything out. To say it was a disappointing last meal in Boston is an understatement. The place was DEAD - maybe that should have been a warning sign. What we ordered: STUFFED ZUCCHINI BLOSSOMS (ricotta, mint, parmigiano reggiano cheese filling). Extremely bland. Gosh, it needed some salt or some sauce to be semi-edible. LAMB CIGAR ROLLS (braised lamb rolled in phyllo dough, spicy red pepper dip). There was no dip. Just a couple of dots on the actual rolls. Again, super bland and lacking flavor. GRILLED LAMB CHOPS (pomegranate marinade, vegetable caponata, wild berry compote). 3 mini lamb chops. Like mini. Barely any many meat to taste the pomegranate marinade. I felt bad for having to pick the chops up to GNAW on them to get any meat off. DUCK & ORANGE GASTRIQUE (mushroom farrotto, garlic & oil wilted broccoli rabe). Best decision of the night for my husband. gosh.. I wish I had gotten this. Very good! We skipped dessert because nothing caught our eyes. Then we got the bill... I ordered an iced tea and then asked for another once my meal came out. The iced tea was not on the menu, so shame on me for not asking about the price, but shame on this restaurant for not telling me I would be charged $8 dollars per glass. Mind you the glasses are around 6-8oz. So I paid $16 for 16 ounces of tea. Must have had to pull it out of the harbor. Super disappointing experience. Would advise others to skip this place.

Yelp
Great food and amazing service! We tried a few different dishes and they were all delicious. The moussaka is a must!

Uyen N.

Yelp
Really amazing food but quite expensive. We love the octopus, especially the potato foam! For entree, my favorite is the duck plate: the farrotto gives a slight crunch and the duck is very well-seasoned. The pear-mascarpone ravioli is a little sour and has an interesting taste. The lamb tajine is good, but has too much vegetable and fruits compared to lamb.

Yelp
Nice reception, attentive servers, excellent food. Lovely venue. Soft lighting. I'm a return customer.

Yelp
We just moved here and per the reviews really wanted to check out Servia. My husband and I came tonight for dinner. I'll say everything we enjoyed first. The ambiance was great, modern/lively. I enjoyed my cocktail (one with mezcal and pomegranate) and my husband enjoyed his wine. Together we shared the mezze sampler, a lamb harissa kebab order, a chicken kebab order, and the servia salad. Ample food for us! The servia salad was amazing- well balanced with dressing and well seasoned. Felt very light and was a very generous portion. The veggies were chopped finely which I liked as well. The lamb and chicken kebabs were flavored and marinated well. Both orders came with two mini skewers. They paired nicely with the sauces they were served with and were just the right amount for us in terms of portion. The mezze platter was delicious. We enjoyed the walnut dip (muhammara), the spicy and regular hummus, and the baba ghanoush. The carrot labneh was a little sweet and creamy for my taste but still tasted good. The Tabouleh had a wonderful flavor, with a hint of mint that really added to its taste profile. I spooned some of the mezze dips into the Tabouleh which was yummy for sure. The part of the shared platter that didn't sit well was the pita. It was super hard to touch, and broke like cardboard. Some reviews mentioned black flour- not sure if this is why. My favorite part about Mediterranean food is when the pita is fresh, warm, and flavorful. We asked our waitress for warmer pita to see if this would taste better with our platter but she said it would be an extra charge. This was surprising to me because any Mediterranean restaurant I've been to generously offers more pita, especially if it has gone cold or hard. Otherwise we has a great experience. I would overall say Servia is a modern, lighter take on Turkish food but definitely could use some work in some areas especially the pita.

Chirag M.

Yelp
Service was amazing! Patrizia made the whole dining experience so wondeful. She knew every menu item (and its history) at the back of her tongue, gave us great recommendations and was a delight to chat with. The Carrot Labneh appetizer was so creamy and tasty! (5/5) Falafel appetizer was pretty good (4/5) Zuchini blossom fritters were recommended but we didn't love it. (3/5) Chicken kebab was cooked to perfection but could use a bit more flavor (4/5) Spicy sausage pizza was interesting. The thin crust is apparently made using burnt wheat berries which has its origins in Mediterranean history. While the taste was top notch, the crust was too soft / soggy for my taste.

Yelp
Absolutely highly recommend Servia. We ate here last night by chance for a late snack and were "wowed" by the staff, they superbly prepared and truly tasty cuisine. Along with the charming Lady who welcomed, seated, and served our orders, our server provided attentive, good customer service. We are definitely returning, probably sooner than later.

Yelp
I visited Servia recently with a couple friends and had a great Mediterranean dinner! Vibe: upscale without being stuffy. It's a small space - so not a ton of tables- I'd recommend a reservation. Drinks: we each chose cocktails and they were all good. I went with the Turkish Cosmopolitan and found it to be delicious. Food: The food was delicious! I am already having cravings for a couple of item I especially liked (and my friends enjoyed too). We had the: MEDITERRANEAN SAMPLER, Lamb Cigar Rolls (I loved these), FRIED ZUCCHINI BLOSSOMS, and a chicken tapa in a pillow my puff. The only one I would not order again was the zucchini blossom. It's my opinion- that there isn't enough zucchini in it and it fell flat for me. The dessert - we split 2 desserts. The baklava (the ice cream that comes with is also fresh made) and the chocolate tort with cherry inside. It was small but rich. Both were amazing. Admittedly I'm a sucker for baklava and this one was also delicious. Service: our service was lovely. Both the waiter and manager came around to make sure we were cared for during our dinner. Overall, I really like my meal here and was a fun Boston find while on vacation.

Yelp
We came in from Maine for a Sox game at Fenway and I was desperate for a meal that wasn't typical Maine Coastal as I'll have all summer. Servia fit the bill. My partner loved his Persian Fizz cocktail (yummy cardamom accents). We were eating early (post game and pre-drive) so had two mezes (stuffed figs and eggplant napoleon) and split one entree (a lamb tagine as good as I've ever had). Then of course we had to have desserts! Baklava and sour-cherry pavlova. Everything was first rate, the service was lovely. Would totally return!

RH H.

Yelp
We dropped in by chance, but will return on purpose. Fantastic food, service and atmosphere. The cocktails are special with unique flavors and fresh ingredients, made by a bartender who is friendly and makes each drink with care. It's great to see this gem on State Street as the Financial District tries to get back on its feet again. Worth the visit!!!!

Erin K.

Yelp
Very aesthetic, upscale Mediterranean restaurant. Food I've tried: - MEDITERRANEAN SAMPLER ($28): the yufka bread was light and chewy, pairing well with the sampler. Flavor wise, it reminded me of a standard whole grain tortilla wrap. The hummus was on the "grainy" side, and it was not as creamy and smooth as I normally prefer my hummus to be. The spicy hummus was regular hummus, with added spices - it wasn't spicy per say, rather it was extra spiced. The baba ghanoush was pretty standard, flavorful but also lacking a touch of the regular creaminess of baba ghanoush. I could taste the individual chunks of eggplant more so than it being a cohesive texture. The tzatziki had the creaminess factor, and the textures were broken up by the cucumber slices. Overall it had a nice refreshing flavor. The carrot labneh was closest to the hummus, with a carrot tone. The muhammara was a cross between the hummus and baba ghanoush in texture. Flavor wise, there was a little nuttiness, a touch of smokiness. - FELAFEL ($15): it was nicely nutty with a pleasant texture. The jou jou bread tasted like whole wheat pita. Tasted like an above average felafel, not dry at all. - PEAR MASCARPONE PELMENI ($34): it tasted like a shell of pasta with savory fillings. It was definitely a combination of flavors I have not tried before, and I didn't know how to quite feel about it. For the price, the portion was quite small. - MOUSSAKA ($24): delicate layers of grilled eggplant and protein, in a red pasta sauce. This was the best dish out of everything I tried, as I thought the elements complemented each other. Everything was well seasoned and cooked. Atmosphere: - The dining area was not too big, but the décor is very classic, clean, and modern. - You do have to walk up a set of stairs to get to the dining floor, but there is an elevator making it quite accessible. Service: - The service was truly top notch, our server was extremely friendly and provided great recommendations. Overall: - I gave this restaurant 3 stars purely for the flavor. Every dish had highlights, but there was always a "it's good but ..." element. I will be honest and say I have probably grown to expect Americanized Mediterranean food and I cannot write a review from the point of someone who enjoys authentic Mediterranean food. But from my (limited) perspective, there was something missing in each of the dishes that prevented me from truly saying this is outstanding. Combined with the portion (pretty small) and price (pretty pricey) it came out to 3 stars purely for the food. However, the atmosphere and service were top notch.

Steph J.

Yelp
Stopped in here for lunch and I'm so glad I did. It was a cute, inviting, kind of modern yet inviting space at the same time. It's a small dining area, and you can see the few people in the kitchen getting dishes ready. Everything that came out looked delicious and it definitely made me want to try all of it. I ordered the moussaka and hubby got the pastitsio. We also ordered the beet and lebneh salad to share. All of it was phenomenal. The salad - WOW. The lebneh was so creamy and herby, and the bit of citrus just put it over the top. It really was like a dance of flavors that were really complementary of each other. My moussaka was everything. Comforting, warm, and full of savory-goodness. The tomato sauce was fresh and yet so sweet. The layers were absolute perfection. I'll be dreaming about this meal for a while, and would LOVE to come back here for another round. The portions are perfect- not overly gargantuous, but not too tiny either. I went in starving and left feeling satiated without feeling stuffed and like I needed to be rolled out of there (though, don't get me wrong- I wouldn't be mad about it if I had any leftovers).

Shuang Z.

Yelp
This is an absolute 5 star restaurant!! First, from the moment you enter the restaurant, the host made me feel so warm and welcomed! They have sit down dining (which you might need to make reservation online to get a table on Friday night), bar seats, high table seats and outdoor seats. The two rooms are super bright, clean, enjoyable and well decorated. Food: we ordered Mediterranean sampler ( which is a bunch of Mediterranean dips served in super artsy plates) def a must order if you want to try a variety of amazing dips)! Moussaka is also a must order!! Loved the tender soft eggplants with lamb-beef-pork ragout! Loved how flavorful the whole dish taste! One of the best I've had in a loooong time! Lamb tagine was cooked to perfection! Lamb meat is super tender, the only downside is that the flavor is kinda plainish. But I mixed it with the hummus and baba ganoush from the sampler. It turned out great! Def a must visit and I will come back to try other dishes!!

Maitreyee E.

Yelp
Food was stale and oily . For what looks like an upscale restaurant, the food was very disappointing. Also we were the only ones here (that should've told us the story but anyway) Though host was good

Jennifer J.

Yelp
When you walk into this restaurant, you are greeted by an inviting open space and warm and welcoming hosts. We started out ordering the Scene Overheard and the Marrakesh Express. Both drinks were very tasty and the Marrakesh Express had quite a unique flavor. We ordered the Mediterranen Sampler, the vegetable terrine, and the tukmaria crusted seated tuna. All were very delicious. The terrine is well portioned to feed 2. For dessert. My recommendation would be to stick with the more traditional Middle Eastern variety. Service was very attentive and pkeasant.

Scott D.

Yelp
Jordan! You've ruined us. We can't eat in the dinning room, because we had such a great time in the bar with you! Great food, great drinks, and even better company! We are going to be regulars... in the bar! More cocktail secrets. Smoked? Yes! Infused? Yes! It all works, be curious. Thanks!

Bobby B.

Yelp
A hidden gem in post office sq/financial district, not too far from south station. Unassuming, but the cocktails and food was actually really really good. You must get the servia salad, on the menu it sounds so simple but it's packed with flavors. I could eat it everyday!

Jaclynn F.

Yelp
This place is amazing!!!! Can't wait to go again. Absolutely delicious. 10/10. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. Food was incredible.

Nora S.

Yelp
The food was so underwhelming & flavorless. The curry sambosek & the halloumi salad were good but the rest was underwhelming. Service was great.

Karen L.

Yelp
I love trying out new restaurants and I found this one somewhere. Its very brand new and the atmosphere is great. The food was good and the service was even better. The tables were spread apart enough to make me feel safe given COVID.

Kaitlin T.

Yelp
Came here at 7pm on New Years Eve with no reservation and it wasn't even half full, so as a party of 3 we were seated immediately. Our waiter was very courteous and polite, and he was really helpful with explaining the menu to us. As an appetizer, the three of us shared the Spicy Red Hummus, which comes with pita bread. It was delicious, and I'm glad they didn't skimp on the spice. The entrees (Acquapanna Poached Sea Bass and Shellfish Soup & Saffron Rice Tagine) came out pretty quick. The sea bass had so many beautiful flavors coming together. The only downfall of the dish was that the potatoes were slightly undercooked, but still edible. The shellfish tagine was so buttery and the seafood was cooked perfectly. It was a perfect amount of food so we didn't feel grossly full when we left. We got a Lam'Burger to go and it was a nice twist on the classic hamburger. For an interesting and unique experience with Mediterranean cuisine, definitely come here.

Frank B.

Yelp
I was very excited about eating dinner at Servia, but walked away disappointed. It was not a poor experience, but it was certainly not what I expected. The food is quite good. I particularly enjoyed the carrot lebneh appetizer and the statler chicken entre for two, which comes in a really interesting bowl. But the shrimp skewers and the curry chicken fritters (really an empanada) were boring except for the tamarind dip. The wine list was varied and unusual and quite fun. This was the best part of the menu, in my opinion. Every wine we tried was excellent, the the pours were a reasonable size. Our waiter needed training. He did not remove the extra setting from a table of 4 when only three people were there and we needed the room. He was not familiar with the wines. But the worst part was the timing of the food. Courses came out in a manner that always left one person without anything to eat, and the basmati rice (which was good) came out after everything else was gone, so there was nothing to pair it with. The atmosphere was nice and everything was clean. They asked for vaccine cards, so we felt somewhat safe. So there is great potential in this restaurant, but it needs to tune up their game to fit the prices and expectations of this city.

Vanny C.

Yelp
What a gem!!! My husband and I stopped by for dinner on a quiet Friday night during our weekend getaway in the city. The interior was spotless, modern, warm and inviting. All good vibes just upon entering! Derek, the owner and Jordan, the bartender took such good care of us. I was in the mood for Mediterranean food and the meal most definitely satisfied me. We started with the olives, hummus, muhammara, and mussels. They were all very delicious although my ultimate favorites were the hummus and muhammara (compliments of the owner). So complex and tasty especially with the house made pita bread made from black flour. Our main dish was the sausage pizza. It was spicy and cheesy and the crust was deliciously chewy! Such a good choice that was. We ended the meal with a their house made baklava and pistachio ice cream. What a memorable meal! I can't wait to return the next time I'm in town.

Sonika A.

Yelp
Truthfully, food was OK, but we were served raw chicken. Management comped the chicken but didn't do anything else, even after we asked for it to be escalated to the chef. Wait staff were great though, very kind and accommodating.

A L.

Yelp
Our group of seven unexpectedly tried Servia on a Friday night and it was fantastic. Our server (more of a host, really) was amazing. Jordan made us feel at home, knows everything about every dish, is a whiskey connoisseur, helped us make drink and food selections, and paid keen attention to allergy issues, of which two of us had several. He was careful, but didn't make a big deal out of it. We loved every dish, most of which were new to us. We especially appreciated that Servia was arranged so that we could easily have a conversation, as opposed to having to shout over bar noise and music. Jordan even helped point us in the right direction for walking back to our hotel. He should get a nice, all-expenses-paid trip to the Bahamas (after tourist season!) as a bonus - he's such an asset to Servia, which is now on our go-to list when we come to Boston. And, of course, we'll be telling all of our friends!

Alex Z.

Yelp
Enjoyed a wonderful meal at Servia yesterday. Food was delicious, fresh, and very tasty. We had the lamb cigar rolls and the stuffed grape leaves as an appetizer and ordered the black sea bass for our entree. Very enjoyable experience.

Kim G.

Yelp
I arrived at 1;50 pm a Saturday after driving for an hour. Both the website and the door said open from 11am to close. The door was locked and the host said they were closed until 5 for dinner prep. I understand staff shortages but it would be nice for opening and closing times to be transparent.

Nicholas D.

Yelp
Went here with a group of friends, would highly recommend as a the menu satisfies all palates. Our waitress was very welcoming and attentive. The cocktails were absolutely delicious all around. I had the grilled octopus which was tender and delicious. I also recommend the glazed brussel sprouts and sampler platter regardless of seats at the table.

FaraSouls S.

Yelp
Its been so long i wanted to try the food there and finally its time and i tried it! But the food was so average and there was lots of options with pork in a Mediterranean restaurant! The server was amazing she was so friendly.. and perfect atmosphere for around Quincy market

Amos Y.

Yelp
Great place near Faneuil hall serving Mediterranean food. Definitely a night out kind of place to celebrate as things are quite pricey there but the quality was great. We had the Mediterranean platter (highly recommend) , tuna and great cocktails

Kelsey S.

Yelp
Quality like this is rarely seen in downtown Boston. Amazing food, and the staff made us feel like we were family! There's a chef's table in the basement that I plan on booking for events, and according to their Instagram they do wine tastings. Really hoping this place makes it; that Faneuil Hall area could really use a change from the standard bar fare/tourist food otherwise available.

Jenna J.

Yelp
I just stumbled in here one night on my walk through the Financial District in Boston and was totally blown away. I was immediately intrigued by their menu so decided to give it a shot. I sat at the bar which has the plexiglass separating the staff and guests. I felt totally safe from start to finish as the staff is masked up, seating is socially distanced and the entire place is IMMACULATE. I started with the Marrakesh Express which was a really cool craft cocktail with unique ingredients like Harissa and Aquafaba. The presentation was impressive and wish I took a picture! After that, I moved onto the Sultan of Swat which tasted like their creative take on a traditional cosmo. It was great...definitely had more than 1! They were so incredibly welcoming and hospitable that they brought me a complimentary plate of their homemade hummus w/ ancient grain pita they make in-house as well. It won me over...I dream of this hummus now. For my entree I ordered the Faroe Island Salmon with came with Beluga Lentils and a mixed greens salad. (I ordered the sauce on side as depicted, otherwise they drizzle it over the top). I am very picky about my Salmon but they nailed the temperature and the flavors kept me wanting more. Lastly, the PASHA PILLOW. I rarely order dessert but everything that came before was so good I wanted to experience as much of the menu as I could fit in my stomach. The picture says it all - edible gold, beautiful presentation...just deliciousness. I hadn't realized until I was ready to leave that they have an entire dining room and it's gorgeous and spread out. I've already gone back for a 2nd visit and definitely going to come back with friends and family so I have someone to share the Meze plates with!! 5 stars...highly recommend!

Ege A.

Yelp
Great food, good cocktails and super friendly staff Had sea salt crusted sea bass which was delicious Will definitely be back

Bailee P.

Yelp
Wow. This was the best overall dining experience I have had in Boston. We walked into the most luxurious looking restaurant downtown. We weren't even sure if we were in the mood for Mediterranean but decided to give it a try anyway. We picked a table right by the windows to maximize the people watching. I can only imagine how much foot traffic is going to pass once COVID is under control. Derek came over to us and we instantly felt like his friends. He is so personable. He told us they opened in October after a year of delays. A restaurant opening during COVID... I can't even imagine. The entire staff was paid throughout the pandemic and never was left out to dry. The kitchen is almost all female staff! Derek gave us his business card before we left which he has his cell phone number on! He told us to text him anytime when we're coming in. He answers all of the restaurant texts in the morning for reservations (which you can also make online I believe) and other needs of customers. Take a look at the picture of my gin and tonic. That looks like a drink where the staff care. It's like a whole garden in a huge goblet! It was delicious. My boyfriend also got the Moscow mule which came just as beautifully dressed. The drinks were delicious and aesthetically pleasing. Now to the food. My mouth is watering as I type this. We started out with the falafel. It doesn't come with hummus so we got that as well (this was comped by management, just another thing showing how much they care about their customers). The first thing I noticed when I swiped the pita through the hummus was the quality of food. The quality stands out above all. We chatted with our waitress about this and she said basically everything there is organic, homemade, never frozen, and mindfully sourced. The HUGE chickpeas that come from Canada... nope! They buy them from a Middle Eastern supplier all natural. You can tell in the hummus, it makes a world of a difference. The hummus was creamy. The falafel was unbelievable. The sauce it comes with completely blew me away. It complements all of the flavors perfectly. Next came the meat cigars. When I say they melt in your mouth I am not kidding. I do not have words for how delicious these were. Inside is lamb and some other great flavors. The filo dough wrap was perfectly flaky and buttery. These were our favorite thing on the menu. Next (not pictured), we got the shrimp skewers. These were literal full shrimp (head, shell, and everything) poked through a stick and grilled to perfection. The waitress said they grill them this way to keep the moisture in and flavor intense. They succeeded at that. You have to take apart the shrimp (our waitress offered to do it for us she was so wholesome) with your fingers! The dipping sauce had a harissa/hummus flavor... very complementary. Next were the sliders. Wow wow wow. Again, you can tell the quality of all of the sourced ingredients. The harissa on the burgers was a little spicy but I personally think it's such an amazing and intense flavor. If you prefer things less spicy, just ask for that on the side. The medium rare little patties were perfectly cooked. For our last course we went with one of the pitzas! As you can see in the photo, the pitza crust is made of some kind of ancient grain. It's dark in color. It's also delicious in taste. The pizza was equal parts greasy comfort food, quality ingredients, and upscale dining. Overall, the experience at Servia is unmatched. We cannot wait to go back to see our friends there and try even more of the amazing food on the menu. Every single plate we tried was out of this world. We cannot wait to come back for more!!

Yelp
I've been here a few times and I think this is the most underrated place in Boston. The food is incredible, the chef is delightful, and we will keep coming back again and again. The cocktail menu stays seasonal and fresh, the atmosphere is beautifully curated down to every detail, and it's great vibes for both a big girls night out and an intimate date. Will be back again soon!

Yelp
I'm shocked this place has 4.5 stars. The restaurant is very new, so I certainly cut them some slack. The food was great! I especially liked the chicken and the Servia salad. I also had a great espresso martini. The Maine issue here was the decor and ambiance. Eating outside is probably the move because indoors boasted bizarre art, few decorations, and paper napkins. This place has potential, but not my ideal spot mainly due to the ambiance.

Yelp
The food here is very solid, but the service misses the mark so much it's almost not worth visiting. We've called here many times while the business states it is open and have not been able to reach anyone (and there were no ways to order online and their website was broken, so you'd have to find the menu off pictures on Yelp). On one occasion we ordered pickup and had to wait 20 minutes at the restaurant for them to finish the food (all appetizers) after showing up 25 minutes after ordering like they had asked. Most recently we ordered food, were told 25 minutes, so we showed up 40 minutes later (to not have to wait again), and the restaurant was closed - no one there, doors locked, didn't answer their phones. It's one thing if this is late at night near closing, but this was middle of the day on a Saturday, and they're supposedly open 11am - 10pm. No signs or anything on the door, they took our order over the phone and there was no other there. Would probably advise against visiting unless you have a backup option - you can buy the pomegranate molasses to make their muhammara dip at grocery stores locally in case you have a craving.

Yelp
Hands-down the BEST restaurant in Boston. I've been to restaurants all around looking for some amazing food and I wasn't able to accomplish it until I went to this place. The food is amazing (I recommend the Pitza, Hummus, and everything to be honest.), Service was amazing and Patrizia will steal your heart Big big thanks to everyone for making this dinning experience just wonderful!

Yelp
If you care about eating good tasty food and youre idea of a good restaurant isnt fake pretension and an ambience of smugness then do not go here. This place is all the "talk" without the "walk." All the food came out cold, the pita was literally leather and inedible. The mixed grill was atrocious with peices of meat rubbery, fatty, and necessitating 9000 chews into an abyss of regret. The fried cauliflower dish was grotesque, cold, and poorly executed. I am not sure if the chef was 9th grader learning to cook for the first time or if this place is deliberately trying to disguise themselves as "top notch" and charging for it being utterly unable to deliver. The zagat menu should read "fundamentally a deceptive entity with an air of subtle fraud as its secret ingredient. " Anyway, this place will probably not last soon enough. It was exasperating getting the waiter to get me a new set of hot pita (after telling him the first batch was cold and horrible I would have thought he would have the judgement to get me a new batch) but of course he was another classic cliche of Boston's lack of quality service industry employees. He was way too important , sophisticated, and classy to dare get me a new batch. Great, shitty food and shitty service! Maybe if I looked like a white businessman he would have paid me more attention. BOTTOM LINE; IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE ROBBED AND BELIEVE YOUR FOOD SHOULD BE EDIBLE AND SOMEWHAT ENJOYABLE , DO NOT COME HERE. THIS IS NOT A MEDITTEREAN RESTAURANT, THIS IS NOT EVEN A RESTAURANT, GOD FORBID THE FOOD SHOULD BE HOT!!! PRETTY ON THE OUTSIDE, LITERALLY NOTHING OF NOTEWORTHY OR OF SUBSTANCE WITHIN. I AM SURPRISED THEY DONT JUST SERVE PORCELIN FRUIT.

Yelp
OK, Boston and beyond, if you enjoy Mediterranean and Turkish Cuisine, you need to get to the Servia Restaurant on State St., in the Financial District. My wife and I just visited this afternoon and found the Servia to be a place that we will visit often, including tomorrow for lunch! It is a beautiful space with both a bar section and a dining room space. They are very cognizant of the need for Social Distancing and proper hygiene during the current pandemic. Patrizia was our hostess and waitress and was extremely gracious helpful in making our meal a wonderful event. Patrizia, the bar and cooking staff are eager to make all possible efforts to ensure a perfect customer experience. We had a couple of very delightful and unique cocktails followed by several Meza appetites, including Hummus, Muhammara Spread, and Meat Cigars each of which were amazing combinations of taste and texture. For an entree, we chase the Moussaka. My wife, who has sampled Moussaka at 15 or more fine restaurants, declared that this was the best she has ever had! Bottom line: Servia is one fine restaurant which should be a destination for anyone looking for a wonderful meal and a delightful experience!

Yelp
Chef Ozcan from the infamous Sultan's Kitchen is back again on State Street and is serving up some extraordinary Turkish dishes! Beautiful space and the food is absolutely delicious! It is a must try! You won't be disappointed!
