All the Nashville Food and Drink Events to Know in December - Eater Nashville

"The Winter Warmer presented by M.L.Rose Craft Beer And Burgers returns to its original home of Sevier Park in 12 South on December 4, 2021. The Winter Warmer features 35-plus breweries offering up some of the rarest and most interesting stouts, porters, barley wines, and barrel-aged beers (dark and sour). For 2021, capacity is limited to just 750 people, so do not delay, and all people attending must be vaccinated or have proof of a negative COVID-19 test." - Delia Jo Ramsey

Nice serene park for a slightly hilly walk. Nice smooth walking/running track, not too hilly but just right for starting off. There is plenty of shade 🌳 🌳 from the beaming! 🌞

Went to this park for the second time in a month and have had the best time with my charges. Easy to get to. There are two different parking lots leaving adequate parking for a good amount of people. I’ve never had an issue, no matter the time of day. We go back and forth between all 3 playgrounds with recycled floor padding (no sand! :-) makes for a very happy me. A wading creek that is an active creek is frequently been a very fun and adventurous activity filled with exploration. We have had picnic lunches at their designated picnic areas. I’ve seen birthday parties hosted in them. I’m not sure on the protocol on “reservations” for these huts. Very possibly first come, first serve. Dogs on leashes in most scenarios. A few children have been seen throwing a ball for a pooch or two, but a decent ways off from the playgrounds and other dogs. Respectable owners who are attentive to their surroundings and maintaining control of their dogs at all times. We’ve even flown a kite, having a great time, even though we had a few mishaps with all the trees and telephone lines. My charges always find friends, whose parents are never far away and yet allow their children to run and play and wiggle their toes in the creek. I love how kids can play for just minutes, and find a “Friend” for hours of play. A porta potty is the only downside to this park. So be sure to have plenty of hand sanitizer on hand. Water fountains for dogs and humans are present but they are non functional, which is a bummer, so bring water for yourself, the kiddos, and the pooch. Trash cans and doggie waste bags available. We will find ourselves quite frequently at this park and maybe one day, maybe we will cross paths (you who are reading this).

Super close to a shops and fun neighborhood so makes it more accessible. Couple of parking areas inside, not all at one place. Best thing: watching fire flies at dusk is just amazing!! Not super crowded, best for short walks and picnics
