Shake Shack Lower East Side

I came here for lunch the other day. I didn't even know there was a Shake Shack in the area. It was a bit out of the way. The store was big and brightly lit. They had tons of seating and cashier and ordering kiosks. The service was quick and the food came out hot. I will say, that I feel like the portion sizes at Shake Shack has gotten smaller.

I went here thinking all shake shack restaurants would be comparable. I ordered a Shroom stacked burger (with a patty). The burger was good. However, it was expensive and barely had any meat. This burger cost 50% more and had 1/2 the meat compared to the Miami shake shack. They also ask you for a tip when you need to order and pick up the food yourself. On the bright side, the fries were fresh and restaurant was clean.

I’ll start off by saying I’m not big on burgers or even Shake Shack but I changed my mind after coming to this location and trying their Shack Stack. I worked in the Lower East Side for almost 2 years and although I saw this location I never went to try it while I was working. Last week, I came here around 8:30pm with 2 friends and order a ShackBurger, my friends each got the Shack Stack which comes with the mushroom burger stacked on a cheeseburger. It look pretty good so I tried and OMG!!! It was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had! The mushroom was breaded and fried and added a desiring flavor to the burger. We also got regular fries and spicy cheese fries with ranch sauce. There was plenty of seating available and everything look cleaned. There wasn’t much of a line so we got our food pretty quickly so overall a great experience. They also served beer and wine. The Shack Stack was so good that I went back the next day to a different Shake Shack (Bryant Park Location) and ordered it. My friend still works in LES and she also went back to get it 😅

NUMMERS ALERT ‼️ If you like burgers and the coolest bathroom ever well you’re in supremo luck because Shack Shack LES has got you covered. I enjoyed a decadent burger and fry but more importantly had TWO chances to use the bathroom (most places only give me one chance). There’s several sets of stairs down the halls and a co-ed sink trough! Exciting to wash hands with folks from every gender! progressive and lovely. Thanks 🐒

The food was great, the staff were super nice and they maintained the location really well. I take issue with the layout of the bathroom which can't be controlled by the staff... When you go downstairs, there's a door that says men and another that says women. When I walked through "women" it led me to an open space with a communal sink. To the right there was another door for men and to the left was women. In my confusion I turned around to look at the door I came from and saw that the initial 2 doors both led to this room....I was so confused. Either way I went to the women's bathroom and none of the stalls locked because the devices were never installed properly. Not broken... just installed to not function. This made me HIGHLY uncomfortable and fell unsafe considering the existing bathroom layout and being in a basement. Id come back for the food and service but leave immediately

Quality has dropped tremendously over past few years Places clean spaces a lot of seatings burger of pricey location is OK

Your employees make up the most friendly crew I’ve ever encountered in a fast food environment and restaurants alike. I eat here practically daily and I am greeted be many of the employees every day. They often cheer for me as I enter th place. They put a big smile on my face.

The Burgers and the melted milkshake 10/10. And had a nice conv with the workers. Always a Blessing here

Sooo elated to have this new addition to the area. It was set to open in Fall 2022 and have been patiently waiting for its opening August 25th! (Talk about being patient as a virtue!) Excellent service. Slow at the start. Wishing this place huge success and luck!!!

My family and I frequent this Shake Shack location on a regular basis. The ambiance is chill, the place is clean and the workers are kind. Their burger meat is super tasty and extremely tender. My boys really enjoy the hot dogs. You can't go wrong with their cheese fries. They're so good. As for their milkshakes, they're extremely sweet. This is coming from a person who loves sweets. Kids would love them. The only reason why I knocked off one star, is because the workers have left out fries and burgers from my takeout orders, several times already. Now I have no choice but to check my bag, with every order that I place, which I hate, because I always place big orders. So, I highly suggest that you do the same. Other than that, I highly recommend Shake Shack.
