The grilled platter was really good. The malai chicken boti was very tender and flavorful. Beef kababs were okay. Afghani tikka boti was good. The afghani naan with sesame seeds were excellent. They are fully covered with sesame seeds and thick. Ordered chicken karahi and it was good but also average. Will have to try the goat karahi next time. The service was not impressive, feels more like a fast food joint but the food was good.

This place is a great addition in DFW. The best shinwari karahi and naan. We also ordered family style bbq platter with rice kabuli pulao. Food served fresh and hot, customer service is top notch! They added patio as well for dine inn. Location is convenient! 100/100

Lamb Karahi was fabulous, although skewers were good too, but i would go for their Karahi only. I suggest every restuarant should adopt a hot plate or electric food warmer for the tables, that will be a game changer, coz by the time we started skewers after Karahi, skewers were bit colder, but overall they did a great job.

We recently visited their Lewisville location and had a wonderful experience. The ambience is warm and inviting, the service is excellent, and the food is absolutely delicious- definitely worth the drive. A quick tip: make a reservation if you’re coming from far, as they stay very busy and we saw some guests turned away because they couldn’t be accommodated. That said, they are every bit worth your time, drive, and money. Highly recommended!

Had lunch today with friends at Shinwari, and we ordered their Signature Shinwari Goat Karahi and Double platter - Grilled (mix skewers). The food was really nice, after long time enjoyed the kababs here at some restaurant The afghani Naans is must try.

Traveled from Coppell to try something new. Shinwari Kitchen has blown me away! This was my first time trying Pakistani food and I will be back very soon. I was recommended the Shinwari Chicken Karahi dish with some Naan bread. The spice is flavorful and hot! The portion size is rather large so I was able to snag some leftovers too. The staff is so respectful and helpful, I couldn’t be more satisfied with my experience!

Food was ok. Way too oily and not enough seasoning. The Chicken Karahi was too sweet, not spicy at all. The Chicken Tikka was not cooked well too soft in the middle. The naan was huge but bland.. just needs more flavor all around. Server never asked if we needed anything else. And why does a restaurant that charges premium prices have Great Value water I’ll never understand.

We heard about this amazing place and thought to give it a shot! To our amaze it was exceptionally good in softness, quality and texture. I’ll recommend food lovers to try these dishes a must. Goat karahi, chicken karahi, kebabs and the Afghani naan.

You will LOVE this food!!! Nestled in Castle Hills it's conveniently located off Parker Rd - so easily accessible! It's a small place with some seating but the bulk of folks were taking out/to go! It's traditional Afghani food- packed with flavor, texture, and served in a generous quantity! You MUST try the Karahi- (Goat or Chicken - can't go wrong at all ) it's REALLY really good!!! Pair that with the soft, fluffy, Afghani naan with the sesame seeds- oof! TooOoooo Good!! Their grilled items were amazing as well- perfectly charred (not burnt) and surprisingly not too spicy as well. The service was great - quick and friendly! They also cater for parties small or large and overall their prices were pretty reasonable! I can totally see this be a regular pick up spot for us!

After they moved to Parker rd location which is very convenient for me, decided to give them another shot. Of course their timings are still strangely inconvenient (open at 3pm). Tried calling them at least 20 times from 3pm to 4pm and they never answered even once nor returned my calls. When I mentioned the same to the girl who took my payment, she asked me to test it by calling again to make sure I am calling the right number, sure enough it went to her cell Phone in her jeans back pocket and she looked sheepishly at the owner who instead of acknowledging and apologizing looked at me as if I'm harassing him and just shrugged his shoulders Saying they're very busy (clearly not busy from looking at the half empty restaurant which is not that big anyway). So u must be wondering how the order was placed if they're not answering the phone? My wife ordered online from her phone. About the food: Ordered Mutton kebab curry, afghani naan & chicken biryani boneless (it was bone in) The mutton kebab masala was over priced @ $25 and not even enough for one person. Taste wise was exceedingly spicy Biryani was not good either - strangely had specks of red pepper mixed in excessively like hot sauce or some kind of chutney. Biryani is not supposed to be like that, on top of that, it was bone which is not what I ordered. Only good thing that we liked was the naan Too bad that their service and food both suck and even worse was the vibe I got from the owner and clientele present that they only prefer a certain type of clientele (from Country of origin). Strange again since the girl working there as server is Indian.

This place is amazing. Food is packed with so much flavor and spice. Ordered the chicken kabob kerahi, the Afghani naan and a chicken tikka platter. We will be back again soon.

Great place for authentic and traditional Pakistani food in the DFW area. Must try their freshly prepared Mutton Karahi.

Just had some excellent Shinwari goat karhi at this cute restaurant. Great food, great service, we will be back.

Definitely try the goat or chicken Shinwari -- it's a bit pricey, but the portion is generous enough to feed at least three people. The naan is also large enough for two. The place is a bit small, so it's best to call ahead to avoid waiting.

There is often a lack of consistency in Pakistani food in Dallas. For this reason, I held back my initial feelings, and waited until I had food from Shinwari Kitchen at least 5 times. I am very happy to say- Holy Smokes, this place is awesome! From delicious kababs, to their karahis, it is apparent that the ownership and chef have an aligned interest of giving a consistent quality product to their customers. I can say no bad things about Shinwari Kitchen, even if I tried to find a fault I would fail. I highly recommend their karahi dishes. When my family visited last week, I told my sister, "I am going to get us the best karahi you have had". She was skeptical as usual - I have failed her at other establishments that would succeed when it was just my wife and I, but would fail me when I invite family. I cannot say the same about the Shinwari Chicken & Goat Karahi. She and her family enjoyed this meal as if it was their last! I ordered via Uber Eats last night too. Yes, they deliver, and yes it is a little pricey- I do not blame them, commissions on UE are insane. They passed this test with flying colors. The quality was still maintained - and though it is more expensive on UE, I did not feel ripped off in the slightest, because the food is just THAT good. Wishing the ownership and staff the best here, please never compromise on your quality! Keep it up!

Service is great. Always being welcomed with a smiling face. Food tastes good. I've ordered chicken and goat Shinwari Karachi, couple of times, I believe chicken is being made in bulk and then served out to go. It's not individually cooked as being the concept of fresh Karahi. There is no ambiance as it's a take out.

Food was great first time and second time I called in April 2024 at 5:13 pm and no one picked up. Map shows they open at 3pm.

Shinwari Kitchen recently catered and live-cooked for our group of friends, and the flavors were exceptionally delicious. The live BBQ and Shinwari karai paired with naans were outstanding--a definite must-try if you haven't experienced it yet. Thank you to Saleem Sahib and his staff for creating an amazing experience for us.

Delicious Pakistani and Afghan food. We had chicken seekh kabab and Afghan beef boti. Both were delicious along with the zeera (cumin) rice. The naan was really good but more like a Pakistani naan than Afghan. The food was hot and delicious. The prices were pretty reasonable for the quantity. Bonus: Owner was super nice guy.

Ordered goat karahi, and it was delicious,however, the quantity was not even a quarter pound. Seems overpriced, so giving only 3 stars for taste.

A very small restaurant with two tables. The food is delicious and fresh. We ordered the mixed grill platter, Afghani naan and chai. Everything was fresh. The naan was spot-on. The mixed grill platter came with rice and mint chutneys. Customer service is great. Chai was pretty good and very fresh. This place does a lot of carryout orders which is why the dining area is small. I'll surely visit this restaurant again to try out their Karahis.

The restaurant was tucked into a corner of a small strip center tucked between a medical testing facility and a hookah shop and as noted by several others, there are 2 to 3 tables (depending on configuration) available for in restaurant dining. The kebabs were excellent and the person who took our order was very friendly. The menu is a bit limited, but the food was prepared fresh and delivered quickly. Price was very reasonable. Highly recommended. I promised I would review on Yelp last night so I'm writing it the morning after our visit.

The food is one of the best in Carrollton! Best Kharai and Malai Boti! They offer catering, and is the best halal restaurant to grab a quick eat from!

Food and service is the best over here. We tried their goat shinwari karahi, chicken seekh kabob, beef boti, malai boti and amazing big naan. Everything was delicious and we will be coming here again and again.

Best GOAT kaharhi in USA. Definitely coming back again. The cook is a gem of a person.
