The 13 Best Lunch Restaurants In Houston

"For a quick, spicy, lunch with dosas the size of a giraffe’s leg, there’s no better spot than the South Indian restaurant Shiv Sagar. Shoved in the corner of a highway-adjacent strip center, this counter-service spot is mostly patronized by folks who live or work nearby, or anyone in need of a fast but excellent meal. This means thali platters, pani poori, and a couple dozen kinds of dosas, including one doused in chili and cheese." - chelsea thomas, gianni greene

The Best Indian and Pakistani Restaurants in Houston | Eater Houston

"This vegetarian counter service joint is known for its casual menu of street eats, including chaat, samosas, bhel, and pav bhaji, a spiced potato puree topped with ghee and served with toasted buns. At Shiv Sagar, they don’t refrain from spice, so pair your meal with a sweet lassi or an imported soda like Limca or Thums Up." - Brittany Britto Garley

I first tried Shiv Sagar through Uber Eats and was immediately impressed by the authentic flavors that reminded me of home. The Dahi Puri, Ras Malai, Raj Kachori, and Masala Dosa were all delicious and satisfying. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to dine in person, and I was amazed at how bustling the restaurant was. The lively atmosphere only added to the experience. The staff was incredibly polite and kind, making me feel welcome and appreciated. During my visit, I tried the Raj Kachori and Maharaja Dosa. The Raj Kachori was a standout crispy, tangy, and bursting with flavors. The Maharaja Dosa was equally impressive, perfectly crispy and filled with a flavorful potato filling. Overall, Shiv Sagar offers an authentic Indian dining experience with a wide variety of dishes that cater to all tastes. The combination of delicious food, friendly service, and vibrant atmosphere makes it a must visit for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine.

Shiv sagar is my go to choice for Indian “fast foods” like chaat, Pani puri, vada pav and dosas over the last several years. I’ve brought many non Indian friends and everyone agrees that the food at shiv sagar hits the spot! It is all vegetarian! You can’t go wrong with most things on the menu. The restaurant is located in the Hillcroft area and has a good amount of parking in the lot. It can get pretty busy but usually we have always been able to find a place. Previously you could only order by going to the cashier up at the front but now you can order directly from your phone via QR to your table

Google
Great vegetarian restaurant with homemade taste. Lots of homemade dishes you will find like fasting food, chaats, rajma, shrikandh, and aloo gobi. Curry and Dahl made with the sweet Gujarati style. Wonderful place. I had the thali during the weekend and subbed out Sambhar for Dahl

We visited Shiv Sagar during our Houston trip and loved it! Got there around 9:05 PM (they close at 9:30) and were surprised to see the place still packed. We ordered a dosa, thali, and their mixed chaat—everything was delicious and super affordable. The mixed chaat was the highlight: instead of the usual mash-up, they served four different types of chaat on one plate. Totally unexpected and absolutely worth it. Great flavors, great value!

Google
Shiv Sagar is a vegetarian gem! Their pav bhaji is buttery and flavorful, and the dosas are always crispy and satisfying. Quick service, clean space, and nostalgic Mumbai-style taste. Perfect for comfort food cravings!

Google
It used to be a frequented restaurant for me . However visited this place after a while and was seriously disappointed. The raj kachori was full with puffed rice and nothing else . The potato on Papri chat seemed from dosa or some other item . The pav Bhaji was just okay but probably without the classic veggies other than green peas . For sure I am not going again . I

Good Place, you can have plenty of veg options here (no meat will be served here)

My recent visit to Shiv Sagar was far from pleasant. I ordered the Chinese Bhel and Mix Chaat Platter, accompanied by Masala Soda and Lassi. Unfortunately, the Chinese Bhel was unbearably salty—completely inedible. When I informed the server and requested the chef to taste it, my complaint was ignored, and the server simply walked away, never returning. The Mix Chaat Platter was passable, but the chutneys had a distinct frozen taste, lacking freshness. While the ambience was pleasant and the in-app ordering system convenient, the declining food quality overshadowed these positives. Sadly, I wouldn’t recommend this place to newcomers.

Yelp
Great food with lost of tasty choices I am not vegetarian but a visiting friend from Argentina is (I thought that was illegal over there) so my Indian friend took us to this place. It was really good!

Yelp
Highlight: Bhel Puri ($5.99), Mango Lassi ($3.99) Stopped by for a quick morning bite and the bhel puri was packed with flavor. Savory, with a hint of sweetness and spice, and tangy, crispy, and crunchy. I remember the puffed rice being more crunchy, but the taste itself was delicious. The mango lassi was on the sweet side but overall fresh and creamy. Hospitality: You order at the front and it's self-service. Honorable Mention: Lots of open seating and there's a lot of yummy options on the menu.

Yelp
Incredibly cheap yet super flavorful! This vegetarian Indian restaurant was such a hole in the wall gem. My first time trying Dahi Puri and it was amazing. So much flavor it such a small bite - it does get soggy fast so make sure you finish them right away
google avatar

Anjali T.

Yelp
Food was great! The Raj Kachori hit all the right taste buds as it exploded with flavor. The dosa and Bombay sandwich also fantastic. Whenever I'm in Houston this will be my chaat go to! Really clean and had clean bathrooms as well which is also appreciated!

Yelp
I love Indian street food and am grateful for the Gandhi District's diverse selection of Desi restaurants. Shiv Sagar is one of my go-to spots. This time, I got pani puri and sev puri as snacks--loved assembling the pani puri myself, and the flavors burst in my mouth! Ordering is simple: walk up to the counter and give them your table number. They've also introduced a rewards program, which is a nice bonus. Plenty of parking is available, and be sure to check out the Indian grocery store in the same plaza afterward!

Yelp
Visited Shiv Sagar after so long, overall experience was horrible. Bad food, worst customer service. Literally scammed my kids by charging $2 extra each on already overpriced vada paav ($7+$2) and paav bhaji ($8+$2) for regular serving - no extra paavs!!!! When asked they showed a small sign hidden on there to justify. It's not there in their price menu at all. Stating that it's Indian paav. Bhatura chola was inedible, yet we did not complain about it. Bad reused oil gave heart burn right away We are never ever going back to that place. They got so popular that don't care about quality or customer's concerns at all. Beware of their malpractices. Better go to honest or Chowpatty chat, far better places.

Yelp
The bhel puri was a really interesting dish. I'm not entirely sure of all the ingredients, but it had a wide range of flavors that worked well together. The closest comparison I can think of is salsa, it had that same mix of freshness, tanginess, and a bit of crunch. The bhel puri had a taste of sweet, sour, and savory all in one dish. The mango lassi was extremely tasty, the only problem was that I didn't have more! For the price everything was worth it, these two items cost less than $13. The service was great, the cashier was patient with me while I was figuring what I wanted to order.

Yelp
Shiv Sagar - Always a Favorite Been here many times, and the food never disappoints! Authentic Indian flavors, consistent quality, and amazing dosas and chaats. Feels like a taste of home every time.

Yelp
The food is excellent, and waiters with great character and service surely make this place special. ( A really good vegetarian restaurant).

Yelp
Yum yum yum! This Indian restaurant is extremely accommodating for vegans, given that it is vegetarian, and EXTREMELY reasonable in price. The service is fast and the food is delicious! I got the Chana, samosas, and pakora. Yum!
google avatar

Yelp
First of all, the restaurant was clean, well maintained and felt upscaled On top of that, everything we ordered was very reasonable and delicious. My favorites was the Vada Pav, Dosa and Dabeli. Definitely reminded me of home. Spice was pretty mild for the most part Loved how nice the folks were in taking our order.

Yelp
Shiv Sagar might be the top place I'd take my vegetarian friends visiting Houston to. Maharaja Bhog is good, but pricey. Shiv Sagar is great if you're not quite feeling buffet. The menu is quite expansive. I would say it's a little difficult to decide what to get! Everything is so cheap we split 5 items between the 4 of us and didn't break $10 per person and that's with 2 lassis and a chai! I recommend the chapati bhaji, vegetable biryani, mysore masala dosa (which takes a while to make, FYI), pani puri, and cheese pav bhaji. One suggestion for the restaurant is making it easier to know if your food is ready, since it's counter service and there's quite a few dishes for other tables that can be confusing.
google avatar

Yelp
I enjoyed a nice South I dian Dosa and two Samosas which were flavored quite nicely. One has to go up front to the counter to order then they bring one's food over to you

Yelp
We had some errands in the area and got a late lunch at Shiv Sagar. We got Sev Puri, Bhel Puri, Pav Bhaji, and Mango Lassi. We loved Bhel puri and Sev Puri, Mango lassi was good. Pav Bhaji wasn't our favorite it only tasted of tomatoes, missing all the spices.
google avatar

Dan Q.

Yelp
Today for us: masala dosa, mini thali, mango lassi. Although I miss the old days of the buffet, everything here is always fresh and tasty, with friendly helpful service and a clean, spacious environment. It's a regular stop for us in this area. The mini thali was exactly the right size for my wife.

Yelp
After having discovered chaat for myself at another restaurant, Shiv Sagar was recommended to me by a friend who is more familiar with the cuisine. Shiv Sager is located in a plaza with many other businesses and the parking lot was packed on a Friday evening. The inside of the restaurant was no different. As I walked in I was greeted by the hustle and bustle of a busy staff and clientele. Everything is fast paced here. There was a long line at the counter to order but it was moving fast. The menu is vast and it can be overwhelming if you are not familiar with the cuisine or are unsure of what you want. There is a large menu posted in the wall behind the counter to look at as you wait but there are also menus that you can grab and look at. Just be ready to order something when you get to the front of the line because it moves quickly. Never one to let fear of the unknown stop me, I dove right in and started ordering whatever came to mind. Was it the best strategy? Maybe not but until I can return with either a friend who knows the menu or I do more research on my own, it will do. I ordered the 3 piece Dosa, Manchurian, Frankies, Aloo Tiki Chole and Salt Lassi to begin with. After you order, you can take your seat and they will call you to pick up your food further down the counter on the left. Everything comes out separately, so you will make multiple trips. The samosas came out first. They were delicious. I really liked the aloo tiki chile as well. The salt lassi was very tasty too. The Manchurian was okay and the Frankies did not stand out to me. I would probably order everything but the Manchurian and Frankies again. As I was sitting there eating, I started noticing that a lot of people were eating a particular dish, so I got up and asked the lady at the pick up counter what it was. She said it was Thali. There are two versions, Chapati or Puri. I chose the Chapati. I can see why so many people order this. It was very good with a variety of dishes you eat with the Chapati. Overall, the atmosphere was upbeat and vibrant. Service was quick and efficient. The food was delicious. I can't wait to return and try more chaat.

Yelp
Made a quick stop here while we were in houston. Ordered Dahi Puri and Bread Pakoda. You have to order and pick a table and get seated! Food took forever to be served. People who ordered dosa after us was served/picked up before us. We had to ask twice for our food. Bright side of this is that food is very fresh! Pakora and Dahi puri tasted very good!

Annabelle D.

Yelp
Very cheap and the volume of food is insane! I have gone a couple of times and waddled out with leftovers after paying only $15.

Yelp
Came here for a casual dinner with the family. We opted for the mix chaat, thali with puri, chole bhature, vada pav, and samosa chaat. We also go mango lassi and rose lassi. They did run out of some items so make sure you go earlier in the day if you're looking for a Frankie or kathi roll. The place is counter service, so you order before you sit down. The employees are hit or miss sometimes on being nice, and I've had some issues in the past with food preparation time. However, it happens. The food is good, I always love the chole bhature and thali. The mix chaat was good, but kind of got boring after a while of the same flavor - definitely share it! The vada pav was good, I do wish it was spicier but still yummy. Additionally, the mango lassi SCHMACKS. However - the rose lassi was not it.. Prices are fair here, swing on by for a casual meal sometime.

Yelp
Back after a long break, got my fav spicy banana chips to go. They do carry a decent collection of sweets and snacks for sale. It is a rainy evening and the best thing that goes with this weather is mirchi bajji!, we had to get one of that. It came a bit later than expected but it was piping hot, so worth the wait. The other dish we ordered was the special combination, which consists of dosa, idli, vada and a sweet. The dosa can be made masala dosa for an additional 50 cents. The idli was ok but the medhu vada was not, it was dripping oil... not good. The chutney and sambhar that come with the plate is not quite enough, but you can get more at no extra charge. A good Indian vegetarian food stop with decent service.

Yelp
You really can't complain about the price and portion sizes of the food here. $7.49 for the chole bature and it will definitely fill you up if you can finish the whole thing. The bhatura was nice and fluffy and the chana masala was very flavorful as well. I honestly started getting full after eating one of the bhaturas. It felt very filling to me. I love the dahi puri. I could have eaten 20 of these. It was like a flavor explosion in my mouth with so many flavors and textures going on. Loved the flavor of the potatoes and all the sauces that were on this. It's a must-try if you go here. Service isn't the greatest. You go up to order and my friend ordered for us, but the woman picked up a few phone calls while we were standing there so we stood there awkwardly for around 5 minutes. She also got annoyed when my friend asked questions about the items on the menu. The food here is great though and definitely worth it for the price.

Yelp
We went to Shiv Sagar craving for some chole bhature and this place hit the right spots! The food was very delicious and fresh. We ordered Chole Bhatura, rava dosa, vegetarian Biryani and pav bhaji along with some refreshing thums up. Everything was delicious. The biryani contained corn which was unusual, didn't taste like Biryani but was quite flavorful regardless. They were also kind enough to give us achaar for our food. Yummy achaar too. I do wish they would've provided some onion and chutney with all dishes. The service was kind of slow because the lady at the counter seemed very tired. I do understand they had a lot of customers though and were trying to get to everyone. Would definitely visit again for the food!
google avatar

Mark N. T.

Yelp
I often picked up food as an Uber driver. Today, I tried Thali. I ordered it, then had to wait for 40 minutes. I asked a lady who worked here. She said" the cooks might forget the order'. LOL. Anyway, I got chai tea and checked my smartphone. I got Thali. It was great! I I know Indian culture" It's wasteful if you don't eat all of your food'. I ate all of it! Namaste!
google avatar

Yelp
I hold very low expectations of this place But it turns out to be pretty great Me and my friends getting together and tried out Like the dorsa paneer etc pretty good Many people during the weekend Service is pretty much self served The vibe was like a dining hall
google avatar

Prarthana P.

Yelp
love this place and have been coming here for years! food and portions are very good. i usually get a dosa or the vada pav. tables are always clean. only downsides are that there are flies in the restaurant and the wait times for food can be quite long.
google avatar

Lynn M.

Yelp
Mango lassi: this was so good! Would defiantly order this again Samosa chaat: was expecting a bigger salsa with the amount of sauce they put. I would pass on this next time. Dahi puri: this was good. Each one was filled with chickpeas and sauce. We would get this again Service: this was decent, they call your number out as each dish is ready.
google avatar

Deb S.

Yelp
Love their chats, samosas, vadas, dosas. It is a very basic vegetarian eatery with no pretentious. The prices are extremely reasonable and it's clean. They also give you extra chutney and sambar with your dosa if you ask. Those looking to try Mumbai style street food this a good option compared to other similar establishments in Houston. Give it a try and get your chaat fix. Parking can be tricky but you'll find a spot (weekday afternoons are great; weekends can get busy)
google avatar

MC F.

Yelp
Always good to try new food! We usually dine at pricier places, so it was a fun change of pace. The experience was definitely new for two of the three in our group. The third is a regular and wanted to introduce us to Indian street food. The atmosphere is extremely basic and casual (the location is a sketchy strip center with homeless people asking for money as we left.) Service was pretty much non-existent, which seems appropriate for the type of establishment. You walk in, seat yourself if you can find a clean table, then order your food by table number at the counter. Eventually someone calls your number, and you go and retrieve the food from the counter. We ordered quite a bit, so several trips were required. Some of the food was quite tasty. The textures and flavors were interesting, and the application of various sauces and spices was a nice change of pace for me. Some sauces were too sweet, but others shone while others still left much to be desired. It is exactly what I guess I should have expected for "street food meets fast food" and prices reflect accordingly (it's verrrrrry inexpensive.) I've had similar dishes with elevated flavors elsewhere, so I won't be back, but I'm glad I tried it!
google avatar

Hirav P.

Yelp
This restaurant serves some of the most authentic Indian vegetarian dishes at surprising value with great efficiency and truly amazing speed. During my visit to Houston I went there couple of times and both the times it was jam packed with tons of orders for delivery pending. They have a system which tracks the order and how long it's pending and the cards are color coded. They try to make sure you are not sitting for a long time hungry and frustrated so they try to get at least one of your items on order out to you and while you finish eating that you can expect other items to be ready just in time. We ordered Vada Pav and Kaju anjeer shake in our first visit. Vada Pav tasted really good and authentic. Kaju anjeer shake was a little too sweet and watery for my liking. I would just order food at this restaurant and skip any shakes or drinks. In my second visit I ordered Surti Mysore masala dosa with Amul cheese, papdi Chat and chole bhature. All 3 dishes were really really good and taste was on point. Best was Dosa. All their dosas are really good so I would highly recommend ordering at least one dosa during your visit. Just one small complaint for management would be that they usually run out of Frankie regularly by lunch time so maybe they can try to increase the stock. On both of my visits at this restaurant around late lunch hour (2pm) they were out of Frankie.

Yelp
After a long day at the Houston Zoo, my mom and I were craving some Indian food and found that this place had good reviews of Yelp and decided to go. You walk in, order at the counter, pick a table to sit at, and then walk to the counter once you table number gets called. The food was absolutely delicious and is quite possibly, the best Indian food I've ever had. On the other hand, the staff weren't the nicest, but it's okay because the delicious food makes up for it. My favorite was the Butter Masala Dosa because the dosa was huge and super crispy! The three dips on the side complimented it so well, and I could gladly eat this every single day if I had to. This is definitely a must-order dish!
google avatar

Danny L.

Yelp
When me and my wife entered the restaurant, we were first a bit puzzled as to what we should order; however, this super friendly waitress quickly answered all of our questions and even gave some of her recommendations. We got papdi chaat, thali puri, chole bhature, and 2 orders of mango lassi all for under $40 with tax and tip included. It was an amazing bang for my buck and of course the food was absolutely delicious. The ambiance was quite nice and overall I would definitely recommend this spot if someone out there is craving for some yummy vegetarian Indian food.

Yelp
Great food, quick to come. Kaju anjeer shake is delicious and dahi puri is always my favorite. The dosas are always on point.

Yelp
Delicious weekday dinner and first time having chaat! Came with a friend who knew what to order. You may have to wait a little while in line to order at the counter, but once you do, food comes out pretty quickly. The pani puri and dahi puri were really tasty- I liked the colder dishes as a little appetizer and they were all full of flavor. Pani puri is like a build it yourself puri while the dahi puri has yogurt. The samosas are excellent and freshly cooked. The pastry dough is flaky and the potato and pea filling is so savory. It pairs beautifully with the two chutneys. I could have eaten and entire order myself. The pav bhaji was very tomato forward but tasted nice with the buns and onions. I preferred the chole bhature- the fried dough is so buttery and flaky and the chickpeas are hearty. This is a wonderful casual dining option near Hillcroft and I'm so happy I got to try it!

Bala Vineeth N.

Yelp
Food is good, they take their time to prepare dishes. We had Chole Bhature and Veg Thali.
google avatar

Bhumi R.

Yelp
Indian food is my weakness. I wanted to eat Thali. However, thali was good but not great. Chapati was a bit dry. We also ordered sev puri and rava dosa. They were so good! Chai was okay. This place is self service. You have got to go to the counter for ordering and to get your food. This place is tucked in between many other desi restaurants.
google avatar

Harp S.

Yelp
Tried masala dosa, Thali with poori, thali with roti, cutlet, cheese dosa, sabji roti and lassi with family. Extremely disappointed with taste and dried dosas. Staff is not friendly or little rude. Cutlet is ok and bhindi sabji was good. Sabji roti had same aalu sabji as fillings in masala dosa!! They add too much salt to the food. Restaurant and rest rooms are not clean.

Vik S.

Yelp
Disappointing- has gone down hill over the years. Food was tasteless. Uthappam was rubbery. Dosa had no crisp in it. Service was sub par. One server for the entire restaurant.
google avatar

Sonya L.

Yelp
Why are they so cheap! No proper bathroom essentials-paper towels - , no napkins at the table (have to get loose ones , tap water eww- the pitcher looks like they got it from a garage sale, bathroom is scary needs major renovation! I can only imagine the kitchen - tables next to us wiped down while we were eating the smell of windex all up our nose! Hygiene is not their #1 priority.. / chole bhutura had way to much masala - / panner dosa to much salt, masala dosa - was good but the portion of potato was not enough (they also put the sambar and chutney cups on top of the dosa - ewww) / sambar cups were so small - like its being served as kid size, - I will not be returning ! No idea how this place is getting good reviews ! Can't wait for the heart burn

Yelp
Delicious, casual spot for Indian food! My boyfriend & I always have a great time coming here. Our favorite dish is the papdi chaat, but we also really like the sada dosa and pav bhaji. The last time we were here we bought some parathas at the front to take home as well, which were great to have throughout the week. We will for sure be back again!
google avatar

Brettny J.

Yelp
I had the masala dosa. The taste of it is not that great. And the filling is like pureed. I like the masala dosa from Sri Balaji Bhavan and Peacock better.

sadie B.

Yelp
I love shiv sagar, it's been my go-to Indian place for over a year now. My favorite dishes are the thali, masala dosa, and Dahi puri. You get so many flavors with the thali that always change, and the prices are great. It's hard to find affordable quality food nowadays. The shorter lady at the counter is always really nice and good at explaining dishes. I've tried a lot of Indian restaurants in the area that may be good but are way over priced for the quality and quantity of food you get, so if you are looking for a casual every day place to eat, look no further than shiv sagar!!
google avatar

Bijou N.

Yelp
I hate to do this because my previous review was 5 stars but I was so shocked at the abysmal service that I don't know if I'll come back to Shiv Sagar again. I ordered some food over the phone and was told the food would be ready in 15 min. I got there around 30 min after placing the call to a long line. I asked about my food to find out that it hadn't been prepared. I said I could wait and it wasn't a huge deal--but then was aggressively pressured to pay immediately for food that wasn't there yet. I said I'd prefer to wait until the food was ready, but the lady yelled and said she was very busy and I could just get into the huge, long line and order again. To clarify, I had placed the order on the phone. The attitude of the employees here was aggressive, impatient, and rude. Though the food is good and reasonable prices, I do not know I would come back.

Yelp
Food was amazing! Staff friendly and knowledgeable of food items onmenu. Clean place to eat! We will return to dine here again. Thank you for a fantastic time!

Yelp
Very good indian food and affordable! Lots of people in and out that's how good this place is. I def recommend the chaat here it's amazing! Spice on the main dish was on point. Love their chai extra karak (strong) the way it should be.

Yelp
Excellent authentic Indian food at an amazing price! My boyfriend takes me here occasionally - mainly whenever I'm craving papdi chaat as we've found that this place does it best in Houston. It's counter service and can sometimes get a little busy on Sunday afternoons so expect a little bit of a wait, but it's definitely worth it! P.S. If you're not used to consuming lots of spices, make sure to enjoy a mango lassi after your meal. It's great for digestion but also will calm down a stomach that's been overloaded with delicious spices. You'll thank me later

Yelp
Disappointing service after 34 years. I have been patronizing this restaurant since January, 1991 when it was half the size and was called Anand Bhavan. Since the past five years, I have been a regular customer weekly. I have enjoyed the chaat that reminds me of my native Chowpatty beach in Bombay. Typically they collect the money up front and then assign you a table and finally call your table number when your food is ready. Recently they have changed the system to a lady coming and collecting the bill for the items that you order with her. This same lady then brings your food to your table when ready. I have had a few bad experiences recently. They are: 1. On two separate occasions, I was overcharged by about 50-75%. I had not asked for the receipt, so both times I discovered the overcharge at home while going through my bank statement. 2. Today, Wednesday 25th September I had a nasty experience at lunch. I ordered two items and paid for them at my table to the lady who collects invoices. I had entered the restaurant at 2:30 pm when only two tables were occupied. About 10 minutes later, more patrons came in and now another three tables were occupied. 3. I received my first item (Sev Puri) within the next 10 minutes and patiently waited for my second item (ragda pattice). In the next fifteen minutes the folks that had come urchin later than me got their food including masala dosa and thali. 4. I still waited for another ten minutes to receive my ragda nut it did not arrive. It was now over 30-35 minutes since I had ordered the ragda. 5. I went to the counter and they said they would inform the cook to make my ragda. 6. I got upset and told them I no longer wanted it despite having paid for it. 7. I walked out of the restaurant in a huff and drove home. Note that this is how they treat a weekly customer. I am very disappointed and it will take a lot of goodwill on the part of the restaurant for me to go back there. Be careful of your bill and demand a receipt and finally be prepared to get overlooked especially if you don't speak Gujrati as that makes you a second class citizen. Parag Gupte, Sugar Land, Texas

Yelp
Ambiance - the most appealing among such kind of restaurants because of their attention to cleanliness. Always welcoming. Food - for the price - decent and consistent. Service - three times as of today, even using the toast tab app - my order was never delivered until I asked for it. And today I got told that I didn't order one of the dishes and even when I showed her the receipt, the person at the console was belligerent and arrogant and would not give me the dish and was busy forcing on someone who did not order it. This has been a problem for many years now..... I know what I am doing next time. Not ordering food for myself and finding a better one. I am thinking of Honest....

Yelp
Amazing place to be there to relish Indian street food. Quality is awesome with reasonable pricing. It's become a must go place for us in our every Houston visit. Strongly recommended.
