9 Best Brunch Restaurants in Savannah, Georgia | Eater Carolinas

"For those in need of a reset, this all-day Victorian District cafe and bar delivers. Influenced by Eastern Mediterranean culture, the menu abounds with fresh and healthful options, like hummus, falafel, pita sandwiches, salads, herbal teas, and more. For a shareable starter, order the whipped feta with crushed pistachios and pomegranate honey. On the weekends, cocktails are also available from 11 a.m. to close." - Colleen McNally Arnett

Shuk Review - London Bridge - London - The Infatuation

"Long lines at Borough Market can sometimes result in disappointment, but not at Shuk;. So if there’s a wait at the Israeli stall, know the generously stuffed pitas are worth it. Our favourite filling in the springy bread is juicy chicken shawarma with plenty of garlicky toum, herby schug, and crunchy salad. Grab a pile of napkins, find a bench, and dive in. photo credit: Koray Firat" - Daisy Meager

18 Essential Restaurants to Savor in Savannah

"Shuk has only been open in Savannah for just over a year, but has already taken over as the area’s top provider of Mediterranean foods, dips, and spreads. It was a region of food that needed representation in the city, and Shuk filled it expertly with chicken shawarma, shakshuka, and doner kebabs. The menu standout is the muhamara, a spread that’s comprised of roasted red pepper, walnuts, and pomegranate seeds, and served with pita bread and crudités. The restaurant doesn’t take reservations, but it is set up with plenty of high tables and bar stools to accommodate as many eaters as possible." - Elizabeth Bowers

We had a great experience at Shuk for our first lunch visit. We tried nearly every dish on the menu, and each one was delicious. While I’m not a fan of lamb and found it a bit too gamey for my taste, the grilled chicken was absolutely amazing! The restaurant offers a variety of healthy and tasty options. I’ll definitely be coming back for the grilled chicken. The space itself is large, clean, and very inviting.

This is an excellent spot for middle eastern food that’s not touristy in Savannah. It has a very slight American twist that still stays true to the heart of the flavors. We got a falafel bowl and added the green chicken. Everything was absolutely scrumptious. The falafel was a different texture than any other I’ve tried but it was still very good. The chicken was phenomenal, must get. We also ordered kanafe which was the best I’ve ever had. The cheese in the dessert was less stretchy and more creamy than what I’m used to (I loved it). The rose water syrup it came with was perfection. Facility was very clean and comfortable as well. Fast and friendly service. We went again and got the red chicken along with the green chicken. The green chicken is a better flavor in my opinion; the red tastes more like a basic sweet bbq.

Had a great dining experience at Shuk Restaurant! The staff were super friendly and talkative, which made us feel really welcomed. We started off with drinks from the bar — I had the Lemonana and my friend tried a different cocktail, both were refreshing. For food, we went with the shawarma and hummus plate and lamb kebabs — everything was flavorful and well-prepared. The ambiance is outstanding, with a warm and lively vibe that really adds to the experience. Plus, the pricing is pretty decent for the quality. Definitely a spot worth visiting again!

On a road trip through Florida and Georgia. During our stop in Savannah we ate at Shuk. This restaurant had a very nice Mediterranean food selection with healthy dishes, whole foods, very little processed food, at a very good price. Located in an area of the city that has a new age vibe next to one of the SCAD campuses, the restaurant is counter order set up with table delivery. Meals have various spice ranges from OMG my mouth is on fire to less spicy selections made from sauteed meats, vegetables, chick peas, hummus, egg, salads, feta and pita. Highly recommended.

Google
Food was really good and fresh. We ordered a hummus bowl which was served with a sliced carrot, tomatoes and cucumber, as well as a rather nice sized pita. Ordered a second pita and it was a perfect sized snack for my wife and I to share over cocktails. We came for seasonal beverages off the holiday menu. Drinks were expertly mixed. As it was our first trip, we were a bit disappointed that no one directed us to the bar which is hidden in a separate room through a door in the back of the cafeteria, even though we asked the woman at the register where we go to order seasonal cocktails. We found the bar afterwards and it looked cute and decorated, which was what we wanted. Too bad we enjoyed our drinks in the very sterile, almost hospital feeling cafeteria side. It was very confusing where to order as staff did their best to avoid eye contact and literally walk past us multiple times while we were trying to order food and drinks (after sending us to two different areas to put our order in ultimately ending at the front deli counter area not the bar) and when we finally got someone they didn't seem to know how to work the register. Thank goodness for one very helpful employee who came over to help and deliver our food. I believe it was an isolated holiday staffing issue and would absolutely go back again. The expertise on the food and drink wonderfully surprised us and I can't wait to try some other menu options.

100% taste. 1st pic is how humus #2 looks like. 2nd pic is how chicken pita with potato salad. I’d recommend you to try this food.

Google
Omg my ice tea had an edible flower in it, how stinking cute?!? I don't think I ever had halloumi before today, but I really enjoyed it on my sandwich!! The restaurant and restrooms appear to be fully accessible. Restrooms are single stall gender nuetral. The one I used had a baby changing station.

Google
Tried Shuk recently and really enjoyed it! The food was flavorful and fresh, and the staff was super friendly and welcoming. The restaurant itself is clean and has a great vibe. My only small note is that the pricing feels just a bit on the higher side for what it is but overall, still a solid spot with good energy and really tasty food. Definitely worth checking out! I want to update my review: I haven’t stopped thinking about the chicken shawarma. 10/10

Yelp
Shuk is located at the corner of Anderson and Habersham inside an old coffee shop. It has lots of inside sitting along with outside tables and a small bar toward the back which your furry babies are welcome to sit in as well. There is a walk up window and a few parking spots on the side off Anderson street or you can find lots of free parking on the street. Their menu is a mix of mediterranean meets middle eastern. There is something for everyone and everything is reasonably priced. On the weekends they offer brunch. The baked omelets are delicious served with hummus and a tomato & cucumber salad on top. Many dishes are marked for allergies and many things can be made gluten free, vegetarian or vegan if you just ask. They have bowls which can be made with rice or greens for a salad, pitas, different type of hummus dishes served with fresh pita which is perfect if you just want something to nibble on. They also have coffee... with a small selection of sweets if you would prefer. Their chai is delicious with just the right mix of spices and cinnamon. During the holidays they have a winter wonderland bar set up with white lights and a winter drink theme menu. Along with live music during the week.

Yelp
I recently grabbed a chicken with rice bowl to go from Shuk Savannah, and it was nothing short of unforgettable. The portion size was generous, perfect for a hearty lunch. Every element of the dish was thoughtfully prepared -- the chicken was marinated to perfection, juicy and flavorful with just the right hint of spices. The smooth, creamy hummus added a delightful richness, while the pickled onions brought a tangy freshness that tied everything together beautifully. At $14, it felt like a steal for the quality and portion. Each bite was packed with flavor, and the balance of textures made it a truly satisfying meal. If you're looking for a quick but delicious option that doesn't skimp on taste or quality, Shuk Savannah's chicken rice bowl is a must-try. I'll definitely be back for more!

Yelp
Supper club review: wonderful conversations, excellent flavors, something for everyone! I heard about their supper club from their email listserv. When I saw the email come in, I knew tickets would sellout quickly and they did! Sign-up was easy. Tickets were$75 for 3 courses but he courses were served family style for most things except one app and the dessert. Every course except dessert had multiple dishes and the food was excellent so well worth it! They had the option of an additional wine pairing ticket to buy but I opted out since I was driving myself I did order one glass of red with dinner and that was perfect. Appetizers: Brisket bites (family style) - meat was so flavorful and tender! The pita was puffy and robust. I loved the pomegranate seeds on this. Beef zucchini rolls (plated) - ground beef was flavorfulamd not heavy. I loved the spiced sauce. Had a little bit of heat to it. Mains (family style): Wild Rice Dates Salad - fresh with so many great textures. I lo ed the roasted chickpeas in this. Added a great crunchy! Braised Short Rib Mujadara - meat was phenomenal. Full of flavor, cooked perfectly, and moist. The carrots were something else! They were cooked in Hunter Cattle tallow which added this full flavor to them Shawarma Chicken Thighs - my favorite main dish. Thighs were sliced and presented in a colorful dish of delicious hazelnut muhamurrah. I loved the sliced peppers on top which added a good spiciness for me. Dessert: Chocolate cookie with Matcha pistachio semi-freddo (plated) - how did we have space for dessert you might be wondering? I have no idea! I could only eat some of this. Some folks took their cookies home and are the semi-freddo there. The cookies were BUTTERY like on a whole other level from any I've had before. Aside from the amazing food, I also had the pleasure of sitting with Del and Debra of Hunter Cattle. Del gave a short talk before the food about how they started Hunter Cattle as a way to grow their own food for family health concerns. Sitting with them, I was able to learn more about them and their farm. Unforgettable! Next time: I'll definitely do a future supper club and bring a friend!

Yelp
We came in for the Holiday pop up, Chalet. So cute! It definitely is more winter themed than Christmas, which is a nice variation from the other pop ups around Savannah. Great drink selection and super cute decor. Surprisingly, my fav holiday pop up so far.

Yelp
Definitely one of my favorite lunch spots. Everything comes out fresh and promptly. The customer is friendly and helpful so please don't hesitate to ask questions!

Yelp
Such a delicious quick service restaurant in Savannah. We stopped in on a Sunday to grab a healthy-ish lunch, and Shuk hit the spot. We had a salad and a bowl with chicken. The flavors were on point.

Nick P.

Yelp
Enjoyed the food here. Liked the whipped feta, and the red chicken/rice dish. The kids chicken pita was also good. Would come back here again.
google avatar

Kim B.

Yelp
So good! I ordered lunch (to go) from here and got the falafel salad and whipped feta. They were both so good and filling. The whipped feta is OMG - amazing. I'll definitely be back to try other items on their menu. There's a small lot next to the restaurant and then street parking around. And it's a really nice interior. Round 2: Came back for more and this time added a hummus no 1, so good, Mediterranean Cobb (delicious and filling) and more whipped feta (I'm addicted). Wasn't a fan of the tabbouleh tho.

Yelp
What a find!! A simple menu packed with enticing items. Enjoyed the hummus bowl (served with warm pita and crudité), the beets salad, and the chicken shawarma over mixed greens. Oh, and a glass of rosé! Everything we tasted was delicious. The restaurant is cute, clean, and convenient (easy parking, short wait to order). Will be back!!

Yelp
This place is absolutely adorable. I love everything from top to bottom. The front of the restaurant is for replacing your order or dining in the beautiful dining area. They also have a pretty seating area that divides this restaurant and a little bar on the back.....all very adorable. If I lived in the area I would be at this place every day. I love Mediterranean food. It is right now my favorite thing to eat. We stopped in for a quick bite and ended up getting a pita wrap with lamb and one with chicken- All very good. We also ordered a side item of falafel, which were a little dry, but very flavorful. The service was really good. The young lady kind of went over the menu with us and gave us a few ideas on some things to order. The food is very reasonably priced so we were not breaking the bank here. This is definitely a spot that I would try again, hopefully really soon!
google avatar

Erin L.

Yelp
Absolutely delicious flavors. Also very reasonably priced for the high quality of the product and the portion sizes. I'll be back to rey more of the menu items soon!

Yelp
The type of place where you stand in line to order, they give you a number, pick a table, and they will bring the food to you. They give you a QR code on your table number in case you want to order more - which made it simple to tack on a dessert from your table without standing in line again. The menu is larger than most mediterranean places I go to and all the items I saw on other customers tables looked fantastic. You can't really go wrong. I ordered the falafel pita and side potato salad - both fantastic. The falafel is among the best I've had in this country (I travel a lot and eat a lot of falafel). It wasn't too fried or greasy like most places. The baklava ice cream was a QR code table order as I finished the last bites of the main course and was amazing as well, just look at the photo. I'd eat here twice a week if I lived here.

Yelp
went here for brunch and it was amazing!!! we got the whipped feta and the cilibur and the food was so fresh and tasty. definitely order an extra pita with the whipped feta but this dish is definitely the show stopper. i loved the vibe, the decor is so beautiful. it's elegant quick service! will definitely be back to explore the rest of the menu

Yelp
Counter service was helpful and courteous. Very casual ambiance, super clean. Food was absolutely delicious. Everything was farmers market fresh, flavors were bright and tasty. Highly recommended!!

Yelp
Shuk is a must try! The building is a clean and crisp white. It is located at the corner of Habersham and Anderson. They have a small parking lot in the back of their building which you can access from Anderson Street. There are only a few spots. But you give it a try. We lucked up! When you walk in there is a long white counter with many menus and a large digital menu in front of you. You place your order, pay, are given a table number, and your food/drinks are brought to your table. Since this was our first time we had a few questions about the menu. Our questions were answered and we were given suggestions too. I asked for her favorites on the menu as well. All of the staff members we met were very nice. While we were eating someone came by and checked on us, asked how we were, and if we were enjoying everything. I told her everything was excellent. I got the bowl with the Doner Kebab(ground spiced lamb and spicy schug- delicious herb green sauce) and couscous. All of the following are included in the bowl: hummus, Israeli salad, and pickled cabbage. Omg, every single item was delicious on its own. Then together it was amazing as well. My husband got the Carmel Market Salad and a pita with Chicken Sharwarma. I took a bite of both. The chicken was moist and the seasoning is scrumptious. The Carmel Market salad is for everyone who says they do not like salads. Because that is how much my husband who is a meat eater enjoyed it. That spiced granola with the date vinaigrette and watermelon with the greens, it is fantastic! For all of my friends who are gluten free, diary free, and vegan Shuk has many foods you can eat. It is listed on the menu. I'm sure a staff member would be happy to answer questions for you. There is a lovely drink menu. I got a beautiful non alcoholic watermelon drink. It was light with a kick from serrano pepper. The alcoholic menu looks wonderful. I did not happen to be in the mood that evening. But I throughly enjoyed my mocktail. There are of course soft drinks and self serve water too. There is plenty of seating throughout the space. You will see tables and chairs meant for two or four. There are high tops for four as well. There is a long banquet that runs through the middle that has comfortable cushions and tables. There is an outdoor covered area with seating too. Basically go to Shuk! As always support local as much as you can. They have lunch and dinner. I'm so excited to try their brunch on the weekend!!!

Yelp
It was good , just R E A L L Y E X P E N S I V E. The atmosphere is cool. But sheesh, my daughter who is 10 and I came for dinner and spent $70+

Yelp
Great food!! It is unique and fresh. So many choices!! I had the Chicken Shawarma. I also had the had the Baklava ice cream!! Highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Shuk is such a neat experience. I've only visited two times, but on both occasions they seemed to be well staffed so service was fast. The food is so fresh tasting and has amazing flavor. There is a large dining area with ample seating. And then there is this outdoor bar that is so intimate and cute. Cash was our bartender and he was so entertaining and attentive. I would have Loved to see his mothers art work or his tennis shoe designs but evidently staff isn't allowed to carry their phones? Kind of high schoolish if you ask me. The outdoor bar has lists of fans which helps with the heat and the flys. It's a real cute place!
google avatar

Jeanette C.

Yelp
Wow! Fantastic. So fresh and delicious. Had hummus w/chicken. Amazing. Beet and chicken salad. Amazing. Very impressed . I'm visiting for a few more days and look forward to the weekend brunch. Service was quick and responsive. Super clean food and space. Loved it all. Highly recommend.

Yelp
I was surprised how large this place was, with an atmospheric corner store adjoined by a separate bar. Ordering takeout, my things were fresh and ready quickly, and they mixed my ice tea on arrival to avoid the ice melting and diluting it. It was delicious tea, though it would have been better if I'd been there in person to take advantage of some refills. The falafel bowl I got looked and tasted great. Many options were given, so I split mine between greens and rice. Hummus, pickled cabbage, and salad dressing were included (not to mention the spicy sauce I added). The salad dressing was on the salty side; I'd recommend dressing lightly. I also took a flaky pastry filled with spiced chickpeas that worked nicely for breakfast the next morning. I thought the quality and customizability of the food would easily justify coming back.
google avatar

Jarret S.

Yelp
We really wanted to like this place because of the great reviews. The service was nice and it was a beautiful place with a great menu but the flavors fell short. We eat Mediterranean food often and while the food here looks awesome it was really lacking in flavor. We all were disappointed.
google avatar

Valarie G.

Yelp
The restaurant provides quick and friendly service, with attentive staff who prioritize customer satisfaction. I value the high level of customer service they offer. For our meal, I ordered the Lamb Arayes, while my husband opted for the chicken Schnitzel. The dishes were served hot and packed with delicious flavors. The restaurant's layout is well-designed, featuring a bright and welcoming interior that is suitable for both small, intimate gatherings and larger group events. The various seating areas cater to a range of socializing preferences, from cozy settings to spaces conducive to group interactions.

Cindy G.

Yelp
What a great find! Low key casual dining with great food. Love it! Nothing more to say
google avatar

Trelani M.

Yelp
Beautiful space--indoor and out, great customer service, and my sandwich REALLY got me debating abandoning my budget and getting another one for dinner. I will certainly be back next week.
google avatar

Melina F.

Yelp
The ambiance is great and the restaurant is very clean. They don't have table service indoors (only on the patio) but that wasn't clear when we made the reservation so the staff accommodated to us. The appetizers were the best part of this me. We absolutely loved the muhamara hummus and hummus no. 1! The main dish with falafel wasn't the best though, as the falafels were a bit tough and chewy. Our favorite was definitely the muhamara hummus. Plenty of vegetarian options here.

Olivia A.

Yelp
As a loyal customer since the very beginning, it was extremely disappointing to begin receiving takeout that tasted old, overcooked, and unappetizing. I keep trying to give them another opportunity to redeem themselves, but every time the quality appears to have fallen further down hill. Such a loss!
google avatar

Amy K.

Yelp
Had given up on finding some kind of atypical brunch place and was heading back to my Airbnb to make my own eggs. Suddenly I smelled delicious aromas and followed my nose. I'm not big on Mediterranean, but the scents coming from Shuk were undeniable! I had about six main brunch dishes to choose from, mostly unrecognizable, and finally settled on the Israeli Breakfast, substituting the hard boiled eggs for poached. ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. I loved the selection of items of my plate, all very healthy. I asked for hot sauce and got shug, another culinary delight. Got seconds because I couldn't get enough! I can't recommend this place strongly enough: ALL of the employees were friendly and helpful with the cuisine, answering all of my questions and checking in, even though this isn't a "wait upon you" establishment. I even chatted with neighboring customers, who also were happy with their meals. Hurry up and get your not-the-usual brunch on at Shuk!
google avatar

Ruchi D.

Yelp
Good veggie selections, friendly staff, casual ambiance. Only criticism was that the prices were steep.

Yelp
I came by for lunch on a Saturday afternoon. It was not as busy as I was expecting! I parked on the street not realizing there is a small parking area (about 4-5 parking spots). You order at the counter and the staff brings your food to the table, but all drinks need to be picked up at the bar. The menu is easy to read, not an overwhelming amount of options. You can get most of the meals in a pita, a bowl or with couscous. I ordered a falafel pita, a bag of chips and an iced coffee. The total was $19 and change. The food was good, but not enough hummus on the pita sandwich. The pita bread was a bit chewy for my liking. The cafe seating is a lot bigger than necessary. I don't see them needing such a large space for quick service. Maybe they can use the back room for small private meetings -- corporate lunches, books clubs, etc. Overall, I would return and recommend.
google avatar

Byron C.

Yelp
Food - Lamb kebab had real lamb w/ herbs...succulent! Sabich was refreshing, filling, and delicious. It's fried eggplant & sauces gave sensations similar (and I say creamier) to falafel. Parfait's unique mix of ingredients and amazing taste reminded me that the world is filled with new experiences. Beautiful presentation and quality ingredients throughout! Service - I ordered to eat outside (dog-friendly along sidewalk seating AND open-ceiling bar!). Food came out in timely manner. Utensils & complementary water are self-serve. Staff were polite. Ambiance - indoor cafe area and open-ceiling bar are begging for photoshoots!

Yelp
I needed to drop by and talk to the owner but I dropped by during the lunch rush and that was my fault. I decided to stay for lunch and I cannot say enough goodness about my visit. Their menu is very diverse and I have to go back and try more and more of their items. I got their mint iced tea and it was delicious. I decided to get their Chicken Schwarma on pita and I can't say enough about that sandwich. The chicken and veggies were spiced perfectly and it portion size was excellent. I am enthusiastic about my return as their shushuka is calling out for me. The interior is clean and well designed. You order and they give you number for table and bring food to you. This is a new gem that everyone needs to go try!!!! Visit #2: came in for meeting with the owner and got to have their Shasuka and a coffee for breakfast. If you don't come and dine here then you are truly missing out. It is a wonderful place and their food is full of flavor and true to the Mediterranean style. I am definitely going to become a return again and again customer!!!!

Yelp
Love! My husband and I come here every time we are in town. They are always so friendly, service is great, food is even better. Last time we were here we took note of the cookbooks on the counter and ordered some of them for ourselves. It's very cute and welcoming inside.
google avatar

Gina D.

Yelp
I wanted to love place but I couldn't! The drinks were mediocre the hummus was good but the lamb & feta grilled sandwich was so greasy we couldn't even eat it! One pet peeve half filled glasses with a premium drink price. Menu is small mostly hummus... the flavors on the hummus we tried was good. The portions were okay. Unfortunately there wasn't enough "dinner" options for our preference. Lamb & feta and one chicken hummus were really only meat options. Drinks were good but small for the price. I would probably will not be back.

Yelper ..

Yelp
Very courteous, attentive and helpful staff. Menu is marked for food Stevie's and preferences making ordering much easier. Indoor with some outdoor seating. Food was fresh made quickly.

Yelp
Such a cute place! I like to go here to work. They have a cute cafe up front and then a bar area in the back. It's adorable! The food is great. The pickles are my FAVE! Very small interaction with the staff but they all seem really nice.

Yelp
We were traveling through and looked up Mediterranean food. The name is a giveaway that you are about to enjoy some Israeli food. We ordered the falafel wrap and something new to me, a Sabich sandwich. Wow wow wow!! This sandwich is full of taste and flavor!! Once on the road, I called a family member who said that sandwich is well known in Israel but despite two visits I never came across it! I have not stopped thinking about it and recommend the restaurant highly! The restaurant was very clean, organized and good service. Enjoy!

Gulzhan A.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the food and place. Fresh meal and the great newly made Mediterranean restaurant. Traveling from California and this is the best place to have great food

Yelp
The best hummus and pita that I have ever eaten. I ate at the Shuk in Nola which was a sit down restaurant. In Savannah it is a fast casual restaurant but quality is still outstanding. Service was quite attentive and helpful even though you don't have a dedicated server. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Sue S.

Yelp
Read reviews and ate this noontime at Shuk's. Myself, spouse, and daughter. Mostly ordered a la carte. People were Friendly, Courteous, and Professional. All foods were really, really good! Includes falafel, olives, babaganoosh, hummus, whipped feta, and warm pita breads!!! GREAT JOB by the ENTIRE TEAM at SHUK!!!! We would return tomorrow, but have to leave early.
google avatar

Jim L.

Yelp
This 3-star review is based solely on the food. The service and the ambiance were good, and I loved the bar in the back! This is a cafeteria style restaurant, so order, pay, get number go sit and they bring the food. The service was quick and courteous. We tried both the Chicken Shwarama on a pita and the Shwarama Bowl. As well as an order of falafel. It looked delicious, but that is where it ended. Both shwarama were way under seasoned, bland, and tasteless. I Where is the garlic??!! The cumin and lemon?! They said they had yogurt with garlic, but it was not on the Shwarama. Yogurt with garlic is a cheat of Mediterranean "toum" (emulsified garlic, lemon, oil), which is more difficult to make. Also, the chicken was slightly sweet and not close to any Shwarama I've ever eaten. Perhaps they are trying to be a more California/Mediterranean fusion. If so, then state that on the menu and set expectations. The falafel, on the other hand, was good. Would I go back? Yes, but with friends for drinks at the bar in the back.

Yelp
Great service, the food comes out super fast and is delicious! Great ambiance and is a nice place to sit and chat with friends.

Yelp
I've only ever done takeout here but the food is so good they also have a cute little pickup window so you don't have to go inside. Again, I haven't dined in but the staff has been very nice and efficient at the window the two times I've called in an order.

Yelp
Ty at the front counter was very welcoming and helped me decide on the Shakshuka which is two eggs poached in a stew of tomatoes and peppers with a side of pita. I decided to have Sautéed Spinach and Feta added which was one of two varieties of this dish other than "classic." The other choice was Lamb and Okra. Ty suggested it as a hearty and comforting choice for a chilly rainy day. I'm glad I took his advice. The tomato and pepper stew was seasoned perfectly. The spinach and feta and poached eggs were just the right amount of filling and the whole dish warmed me physically and emotionally. The pita was fresh, plump, and soft and perfect for dipping in my yolks and stew. The decor is subdued and pleasant with inoffensive lighting, ambient music, and enough indistinct chatter to make my solo dinner not feel lonely at all. Shuk also serves Hummus, Muhamara (blend of roasted red peppers and walnuts), and whipped Feta dips, as well as a well considered variety of brunch, dinner, salad, sauce, finger food, and appetizer selections. A full coffee, tea, wine, beer, and creative cocktail menu completes the experience. Oh, and one more thing. I ordered Moroccan mint tea. It came in an infuser pot with a tea timer. And after the two minutes I was told to wait, it was YUM!

Nice place. Clean. Efficient. Kinda a fast casual but I think you can keep a tab open if you want to drink or add anything. Had honestly no idea what to expect. Food was excellent. We over ordered and could very easily split and both been full! Ended up taking enough home for a whole second meal! More expensive than we had anticipated and neither of us drank alcohol and r that is what usually makes our bull higher. But everything is very fresh and delicious. It's definitely worth a try but honestly if there is a next time for us, we may order differently and or do take away. Love the colors they decorated with- very. fresh

Yelp
The food was great! We had a trio of dips, so delicious. Drank a wonderful white sangria with rosemary. Very refreshing. We topped off our meal with kanafeh, a delicious philo dough dessert with orange blossom syrup. Don't miss this place. Beautiful decor and comfortable surroundings.

Yelp
Simply WOW..! We had roasted Cauliflower Pita that included arugula and came with a side of pickle and tasted awesome! My hubby loved that. I had ordered Falafel bowl on Basmati rice that included sliced cucumber, pickled cabbage, cherry tomatoes, hummus & Tahini dressing. Oh mine the Falafels tasted awesome with Tahini dressing, rice was tasting too good. We had ordered hummus with chickpeas that included big slices of cucumber, 1 raw carrot halved, 3 cherry tomatoes. Hummus, chickpeas in olive oil was tasting equally great! Super delicious, healthy vegetarian protein meal..!!!
