The Best Thai Restaurants in Dallas | Eater Dallas

"Avocado lovers gravitate to the crab and avocado spring roll with crab meat, onion, tomato, and avocado tucked and rolled into a wrapper and deep fried, then served with avocado sauce. The Massaman avocado curry is also a favorite. This twist on the classic dish has a spice-packed curry with added slices of avocado that make it creamy." - Didi Paterno

Subterranean Oak Lawn spot with a lively bar and playful twists—think avocado massaman alongside papaya salad and khao soi. Included on Eater Dallas’s best Thai list; a go-to before Uptown nights out.

I went there with my family of three. We ordered 4 items. Soup, Potato puffs, Patpong Chicken, Kai Soi. I didn't like Potato puffs, it is similar to Indian Samosa . Kai Soi was good, superb, and Patpong Chicken was a fusion (Chinese style chicken with Thai flavor) . It's a nice place to go. Our bill was $65 so so. I recommend.

Si Lom Thai Asian Fusion has been a dependable favorite for us, even with the 30-minute drive. Our previous visits were consistently delightful, to the point where we even found ourselves at the same table by coincidence. We always kick off our meal with the fresh rolls, either tofu or shrimp with the peanut butter sauce an absolute favorite of ours. The shrimp in a blanket was also a reliable choice, though we always circle back to the fresh rolls. In soups, we've tried both Tom Kha and Tom Yum, the Tom Kha always steals the show with its perfect balance of coconut milk, lemongrass, cilantro, mushroom, tomato, and spring onion. And in entrees Pad Kee Mow and Thai Basil Fried Rice were our go-to entrees, and we even enjoyed their hot sake on one occasion. Each time, we left feeling completely satisfied, knowing we'd be back. The friendly, warm staff and the beautifully decorated, clean facility showcasing Thai culture always added to the positive experience. However, our most recent visit was unfortunately a complete disappointment. Nothing tasted right. The fresh rolls and their usually perfect peanut butter sauce lacked their signature flavor. The Pad Kee Mow noodles and the Sriracha fried rice we tried were all missing complete flavor profile. It felt like a totally different kitchen, and we didn't enjoy a single bite. While the staff and ambiance remain excellent, the food quality on this last occasion was a stark contrast to our many cherished past experiences.

Si Lom Thai Asian Fusion is a hidden gem that effortlessly blends cleanliness, ambiance, and delicious food. I visited for a friend's birthday, and from the moment I stepped in, the peaceful atmosphere created by the elegant decorations made me feel instantly at ease. The service was good—our server got everything right with the orders, which is always appreciated. However, there was a noticeable sense of hurry, and they seemed a bit nervous, avoiding eye contact at times. It didn’t impact the quality of the food, but a little more attentiveness could enhance the overall dining experience. Now, onto the food! I ordered the Pad Thai and fresh salad rolls. The Pad Thai was solid—flavorful and well-prepared. But the true standout was the salad rolls. They were absolutely delicious, especially paired with their peanut sauce, which I couldn’t get enough of! Overall, Si Lom Thai Asian Fusion offers a great dining experience with a calming environment and flavorful dishes. While a little refinement in the service would make it even better, it’s definitely a place worth visiting for some excellent Thai cuisine.

Google
Food is exceptional!! Everything we tried here was amazing. Stopped by for lunch as I happened to be in the area and I was blown away. The glass noodles were perfection but my favorite were the chicken wings. I can safely say that these are the best Thai wings I’ve ever had.. perfect crunch on the outside, juicy falling off the bone chicken and bang on flavor.. our experience was really good out here. The only thing I probably I’d cut a star for is the ambience. But other than that no complains. And the best part is food is so reasonably priced. Must try!!

Google
This was my first time at this restaurant. I’m a big fan of pad Thai. I ordered chicken pad Thai noodles. I didn’t realize it would come with tofu as well :(. Not a big fan of tofu. Although the flavor was nice there wasn’t that many pieces of chicken. (Only 5 pieces in plate). More tofu than chicken. Also small portion for $16. Probably won’t be back :(

Google
We come here frequently especially after church on Sunday. This restaurant is nestled in the Oak Lawn area and I found it after looking for Some of the Best Thai Food in Dallas. We park in an underground parking garage to go in so it could be difficult to find off the street. We ordered the crispy spring rolls and they were nice and crunchy. They give you five with your order. At this visit I ordered a modified plant based Yellow Noodle. I took away any soy or meat and added celery and broccoli. Instead of celery they used the celery leaves which was a nice change. Their spice levels range from 1 to 5. I asked for the 3 spice level. It wasn’t hot at all. I didn’t notice that it wasn’t spicy until I was almost done with my dish. That’s how good it was. Next time I’ll order the 4 spice level. My husband ordered the Shrimp and Chicken Basil and he said it was super flavorful. Another great experience…

Google
Can't honestly speak on the atmosphere, I have never been there in person. We ordered yellow and panang curries for lunch delivery today and they were delicious! Very nice portions, lots of meat and veggies in them both, and they were well-packed in the bag. I would definitely recommend 👌

Yelp
This is a cute space in the gayborhood in Dallas. My first visit to the city, I always look for a Thai restaurant to try. The service is kind and efficient and the restaurant is nice and clean. I had the basil fried rice with chicken as spicy as they make it. Delicious and a generous portion size. Whenever I make it back to Dallas I will be making a return visit. Thanks for the tasty food!
google avatar

Goodness I.

Yelp
Had a late lunch here and was very impressed with the portions. The fried rice is very mid, not gonna lie-just has rice and egg-nothing else. The pad see ew was so good! Our server was less than attentive, despite us being one of the only people in the restaurant. Enjoyable experience thankfully.

Yelp
Delicious food! The service was fairly slow, but the inside of the restaurant is quirky and cute. I really enjoyed my glass noodle pad Thai with tofu and the lychee martini.
google avatar

Yelp
Chicken Tom Kha Soup, Tofu Pad Thai Holy this was so good. I still dream about this Tom kha soup--it was so flavorful and the broth so incredible, the chicken so tender and perfect. The mushrooms in it were amazing too, all steeped in the soup!! My friend's pad thai was killer good too. I can't get over this meal, so excited to eat here over and over!!
google avatar

Yelp
I found this place on a list of restaurants suggested by my hotel. Traveling for work I am always searching for a good Thai restaurant. I Grubhub my food so I can't speak for the ambience or service. The food was decent. Tom kha kai was quite sad though. It was tomato and you get a choice of protein or mushrooms. So it's a few pieces of protein and slices of cherry tomatoes. I opted for the green curry because it came with bamboo, eggplants, green peppers and basil. I did not get eggplants but tons of peppers. The flavor was great. I really enjoyed it. But prob would've loved it had it had eggplants. Overall I would eat here again. Nicely done.

Yelp
Check your receipt because there will likely be additional charges (gratuity, items that you didn't receive, or for asking for hot sauce). I had stopped going here because I had been overcharged 2 times in the past and the waitstaff didn't want to make it right. Tonight, a small group of friends insisted on going and to our surprise, we were hit with 18% gratuity for just 5 of us. They operate in bad faith and it's unacceptable.

Yelp
Finally nailed it on my third attempt! Just had the most delicious Khao Soi at this adorable spot called Si Lom Thai Asian Fusion on 3300 Oak Lawn Ave #110, Dallas, TX 75219. Even though I asked for level one spiciness, the Khao Soi had just a tiny kick, and it was packed with so much flavor! Despite having a buffet breakfast and a large brunch earlier, I couldn't resist finishing every last bit of it. It was totally worth it! The broth was heavenly, creamy, and had a delightful hint of sourness from the lime. The mix of crunchy and soft egg noodles with tender chicken slices was a match made in food heaven. The portion size was generous too! Si Lom Thai Asian Fusion has a fusion vibe, making it perfect for those who want an intimate experience with some kick in their Asian food. Whether it's a romantic date night or a laid-back wait before a flight (just like me), this place is a gem! Highly recommend it! #KhaoSoiLover #FoodieFinds #DallasEats #SiLomThaiFusion

Yelp
We've had this place on our list for a bit and finally got around to checking it out! We ordered for pickup and the order was ready and hot right on time! We started with the chicken satay which was okay I don't think I'd get it again. It lacked flavor and was a bit dry. Then we got shrimp blankets which were super tasty! I got the beef pad kee mow which I really enjoyed! It wasn't too spicy but the beef was very tender and the dish was flavorful! My friends got the tofu pad Thai and beef pad see ew and both were liked! My bf got the patpong chicken which while tasty we were disappointed didn't come with white rice. While we should have asked to verify, it does say substitute brown rice for $1 so I'm not sure what you'd be substituting for. Next time we'll be sure to ask for rice with it. Overall we'd come back again and would like to try dine in as the restaurant looked very nice and the workers were super friendly ! There's online ordering but you can only set the time for 40 minute increments. Parking underneath the building as well

Yelp
Fun vibes, food was more a-ok. Menu had the typical Thai dishes that you can think of. Browsing photos and reviews beforehand, it looked like going with any of the noodle dishes would be fine. Ordered: - Pad See Ew (3.5/5). Portions were big. Flavor was a little too salty and thankfully there were some veggies to balance it out. Bok choy or Chinese greens would been better suited than broccoli. Overall, this was not bad. A little salty with too much flavor so try to ask if more greens can be added to balance it out.

Yelp
Okay, so I've lived here in the SOHIP - South Highland - Oaklawn area and pass by this place constantly. I don't know why I never tried it. I've been suffering from a cold and thought I'd try to run and sweat it off so I hit the Katy Trail. Afterwards, I was walking back home and took a detour. I walked past Si Lom. I looked down in the lower level and the sign promised hot, spicy Asian soup. Good for a cold, right? Damn right! I got their beef noodle soup spicy 4 (coulda handled 5) but it did the trick. It tasted so good I took a photo but I'm not congested or wheezing and coughing today. So, my prescription for a cold here in Dallas is a 6 mile run + Si Lom's beef noodle soup, say your prayers and a good night's sleep. Voila! Healed!

Yelp
We love this place. Plenty of great options on the menu, friendly staff and must have mai tai's. Nice ambience below street level on Oaklawn.

Yelp
Ordered from this place for the first time via UberEats on a Saturday afternoon around 1:30 PM. Food came correctly with nothing missing. Crispy Spring Roll - Filled with glass noodles & nothing else. Bland. Would not recommend. Thai Iced Tea - Standard thai tea expected from a Thai restaurant. Pad Kee Mow, pork, hot spicy - Not very spicy, but the flavor is good. Pork, peppers, & onions were cooked well & the pork was still juicy. Noodles were overcooked & broke easily. Pad Thai, veggie, mild spicy - Has broccoli, baby corn, & bok choi - kind of strange. Tofu taste burnt. Pad Thai flavor average - could be stronger if sauce wasn't so watery. Noodle texture good though - springy. Had better pad Thai elsewhere, but this wasn't bad. Pineapple Fried Rice, beef, fried rice, mild spicy - beef flavor is pretty good. Pineapple bland - must be fresh. Rice is flavorful, but would have liked more curry flavor, not just salt. Overall, most things were pretty average. The only thing I thought was bad was the crispy spring rolls. Not sure if I'd recommend. Might come back in several months.

Yelp
Best Thai in the area!! We've stuck with our go tos so far - red chicken curry and pad kee mao (spelled mow on their menu) AKA drunken noodles with beef. Both 4/5 which is the perfect level if you're a spicy person. They're consistent in their service flavor and portions every time we've been, parking under the building is convenient, and although we've only done pick up and door dash delivery, the restaurant itself is vibey and seems like a good date spot. Plain and simple; if you want good Thai food in Uptown Dallas, look no further than Si Lom!

Amit A.

Yelp
Food was very average. Service was average. There are a lot of better restaurants to spend your time and money on.

Yelp
I Spent 200 DOLLARS ON DINNER. SPECIFIED NO CILANTRO AND NO Sesame ALLERGIES ARE SERIOUS, and NO spicy all mild- have had massive stomach intestinal surgeries. I got my food- late- cold- and poorly packaged. THEN I opened up the soup- there WAS cilantro. THEN I opened the curry, MILD GREEN CURRY NO cilantro with VEGGIES AND A SIDE OF SAUTED CHICKEN. The curry is unbearable to even smell as the spice is that potent. I STUPIDLY took one SMALL sip, and my lips had been swollen for 30 minutes. NOT EVEN CLOSE TO A "NOT SPICY" dish. The remainder of my order I cannot trust- and a small detail- not only did the soup, but also the curry - COVERED IN CILANTRO. I called the restaurant. The man who answered refused to provide his name and refused to let me talk to a manager, and kept snarkily calling me honey and also said there was nothing he could do about it. I am in disbelief that after years of being able to call this one of my favorite spots in town for curry- this place has not only changed but is not what it once was- 2nd, if you believe in customer service - run from this place. The man on the phone did not care that I was having an allergic reaction and did not care that they did not follow the apparent notes (yet he acknowledged the notes and said no, im wrong. There isn't cilantro.) I HAVE pictures, and I wouldn't be writing this right now if they had even mentioned how sorry they were and how they would immediately rectify the order- and quickly also refund me- As a massive repeat customer, after tonight, I can't tell you that I will ever. Ever ever recommend this place to anyone; I CAN FOR SURE SAY A FEW THINGS: DO NOT COME HERE IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES- IF YOU DO- and you see that there is an order and you specify no to that allergy- KNOW FOR A fact they will put a staff member (again named no name to handle such issues and then blame. you for being allergic) and if you need an. Epi-pen- keep it handy. - NOT ONLY will they disregard you, your health, and your issues, as I can speak from personal. Experience- they gratefully charged me for the wrong things, put me in harm's way, then tried to brush it off- and lastly chose to seemingly call me "honey" not in a southern way but in a seemingly "im better than you- get out of my way, get off the phone, your problem means nothing to us or our establishment, have fun possibly having to be in the hospital because of having an allergic reaction WAY. I AM.SO. SAD. This used to be THE BEST place with the kindest service, and their dedication to providing quality food surpassed all of the places in comparisoon THE $200 I spent tonight was a risk of my life- an allergic reaction, bullying from their staff, and from the few bites that almost took me out- EVERY. Single. Thing. WAS. The. Worst I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED in my life. Not only should they have remade the food, refunded me IMMEDIATELY, AND DELIVERED it at that point, I would have recognized that maybe, just maybe, it was a ginormous oversight and they didn't intend on physically harming me; but after the man who again is "no name, dear and honey calling - staff member " was so RUDE. IN NEED OF BETTER PLACES that care about a customer who has and now will want to be looking to do the same elsewhere for another ten years as a repeat customer. COMMENT YOUR HELP! TIA Dallas fam!

Yelp
In from out of town and too lazy to go out in the heat, this spot checked all the boxes (except silverware, which, when delivering to a hotel should be included lol). A solid choice that I would order from again if it were back home in NYC. Saved me from an overly priced and mediocre hotel restaurant!
google avatar

Ludovico P.

Yelp
Amazing tasteful dish but left starving. With no lunch special and expensive appetizers you will leave starving. I tend to eat small portions but wow there was barely any chicken..When I told the waiter, he just laughed. Eat at home before coming or you will leave disappointed.
google avatar

Lauren C.

Yelp
Very rarely do I give 5's but this hidden gem checked all the boxes. We got to this restaurant around 7:30pm and it was packed. We were seated right away and greeted by our server with waters. The restaurant was warm and everything was clean and friendly. The ambiance is very cool. We ordered the veggie roles for appetizer which melted in the mouth. I've never had better egg roles. For $7 they give you a lot! The Yellow curry was excellent. Creamy, spicy, but not overpowering. I love that it came with a small bowl of rice. I loved the texture of the potatoes and tofu. As a vegetarian it was divine. My partner ordered the Pad Thai and it was flavorful and the noodles were soft. A Dallas MUST try!
google avatar

Brandon P.

Yelp
It's very good. The fresh spring rolls as an appetizer were wonderful and made to order. They came with a delicious sweet and sour sauce. We decided on the vegetarian rolls and they were perfect. Crispy, fresh ingredients. I ordered the Red Curry 3 with chicken for my entree. Amazing flavor, rich broth and loaded with fillings. Very happy and can't wait to come back.
google avatar

Tina S.

Yelp
Just received my food which was delivered and I paid delivery fee and tipped! Received NO SILVERWARE!!!! They delivered it to my hotel. I had to walk and get silverware by the time I got back my food was cold. No CUSTOMER service
google avatar

Kelly S.

Yelp
I love Thai food. Everyone enjoyed their meal tonight. I thought the prices were decent. I had the Basil seafood. The mussels and squid? Were chewy and sadly there was only 1 scallop. The flavor of the sauce was good but the seafood wasn't really seasoned. The crispy spring rolls were not very flavorful. I wouldn't order them again. Service was friendly and quick but i don't know if i would go back with so many other places to try.
google avatar

Sara H.

Yelp
Consistently AMAZING THAI! Best Pad Thai I have ever had. Have done both takeout and dine in, and customer service has been 10/10 every time. Huge menu, and everything we have tried so far has been great.
google avatar

Derek M.

Yelp
This is one of the best Thai food places I have found in Dallas. My favorites are the Mussaman curry, chicken satay, and crispy spring rolls, but all of their curry dishes are great. I prefer mine a 4 out of 5 in terms of spicy, as the lower levels aren't too spicy; but, I did order 5 once and it was pretty darn spicy. The portions are pretty big, too, and I usually have some left overs to take home. Parking is a bit hard to find as it is easiest in the underground parking lot for the building above the restaurant. You can enter the parking garage through the Hall Street side of the building, parking is free, and the visitor spaces are clearly signed. I'd highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great Thai.

Yelp
I am deeply disappointed by the abysmal customer service I received at this restaurant. I arrived to pick up my takeout order and, after placing my order, I briefly stepped out to find suitable parking. Upon returning, I noticed a bag on their counter and asked the cashier if it was my order. To my dismay, I was told that it was not mine and someone else had taken my order. Confused, I patiently waited, only to witness a man arriving with an order and the cashier exchanging it with the one that was supposed to be mine. When I finally grasped what had happened, I expressed my dissatisfaction and informed them that I no longer wanted the order. It was appalling to realize that my food had been handed to a non-employee, violating health and safety regulations. However, instead of acknowledging their mistake, the staff began yelling at me, accusing me of ignorance. They claimed that my order had not been tampered with, but how could they be certain? Had they accompanied the food outside? As someone who has previously worked in the restaurant industry and currently holds a position in the medical field, I am appalled by the restaurant's actions. Not only was their behavior grossly incorrect, but it was further exacerbated by the cashier's rude response of "I don't care what you want." It is imperative that this establishment revisits the rules and principles of food safety and gains a thorough understanding of what true customer service entails.zero zero zero

Yelp
We went here today and the entire family was very impressed! Great tasting Thai food with plenty to eat. We have had Thai from all over and this is one of the better places we have been, so we will be returning.
google avatar

Katharine M.

Yelp
I love this place. Their glass noodle pad Thai is something you can't get anywhere else - plus the portion is super generous. Their mango dessert is something I regularly crave. It's perfect - I've never had better. The only thing I don't like is the shrimp salad wraps - they're too large and the sauce isn't as tasteful as I'd like it to be.
google avatar

Karen N.

Yelp
I love exploring new Thai restaurants and this is a place I'll definitely come back to! The portions are large, the service is great (shout out to our waiter Dan), and the food was delicious. Curry puffs (4/5): 3 puffs that are perfectly fried, has a sweet sauce with it! Tom kha soup (5/5): No explanation needed~ Chicken Pad Thai (4/5): Huge plate, slight sweetness to it, my boyfriend says he would get it again Kao soi (5/5): Huge bowl, yellow curry is delicious, crispy noodles are actually crispy!!
google avatar

Casey J.

Yelp
Ordered delivery to the hotel we were staying at. Food was hot when it arrived and they made a hole in the top of the crispy spring roll package so they were still really crispy! Everything was yummy and I particularly liked the Pad Thai and fresh salad rolls with tofu. That peanut sauce. Yum!
google avatar

Lindsay L.

Yelp
Got takeout from Si Lom - pad Thai traveled well and had good portion size, I would say comparable with crushcraft for taste, but not THE best pad Thai I've had even in Dallas. We also got the potstickers with sauce and such on them, and it was a bit much though they were very tasty. Everything was packed well, no complaints!

Sarah M.

Yelp
Si lom is my go-to Thai restaurant in Dallas. No hassle and easy pickup / takeout process. Food is good and decently priced. Interior is nicely decorated and service is good.

Taylor C.

Yelp
Food was delicious and flavorful! Service was amazing, ambience is nice. Definitely recommend!

Jeanne R.

Yelp
Great service, food was delicious and price was right! Is now my favorite Thai restaurant

Yelp
Fantastic decor, food & service! Garage parking & amazing location. Looking for venu for date night or just meeting up with friends? You found it!

Holly E.

Yelp
I was about to leave a 5 star review and then read another review that stated she got a frequent dining card. I've been coming here for years and was never offered that! (Willing to revise my star rating after next visit). Quality of food is great. A little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Glass noodles pad Thai is awesome, red curry spicy and creamy, shumai is standard in the best way, Tom Kha soup flavorful, and the mango and sticky rice purple and delicious. Portions are generous. Everything seems modifiable (never heard no to any request) which is great. And the menu is vast enough to allow first time Thai eaters to share a meal with old pros.
google avatar

Jordan P.

Yelp
If you're looking for a great, authentic approach to Thai / Asian food, you have to try this place! We got the salad spring rolls w/ peanut sauce, crab & cream cheese rolls (similar to crab Rangoons), and two noodle / pad dishes. Everything was amazing and the entrees were very large, enough to eat 2-3 meals. Also we dined in and they have amazing iced tea. Definitely will be returning!

Yelp
Si Lom is your neighborhood Thai food restaurant besides Thai Lotus but still. If you plan on coming here, please walk. They have parking for the building but it's super tight. Even if you do park downstairs, just remember the restaurant has two entrances so don't exert your walking power to get to the front entrance. My problem today lol. The interior is pretty cute, very cultural. I went during lunch so it was pretty busy. I ordered lots of different dishes - Tom Yum Soup (cup), Crab Fried Rice, Chicken Pad Thai and Beef Pad See Ew. Here's my take on the food: Tom Yum - the perfect balance of sweet and sour. It has lots of mushroom, yum and bits of meat. Pretty good. Crab Fried Rice - Absolutely+ delicious. it's has loads and loads of crab and it's a light dish. Like it doesn't make you feel heavy which is GREAT. Pad See Ew - Look maybe it's the Spice Level 5 but it a bit salty so watch out. Don't go crazy like me. The spice wasn't the issue it's the sodium. I still finished it. Pad Thai - like every other Pad Thai out there. Oh don't order too much, one dish is such a HUGE serving. It will leave you stuff. SO WORTH the money and I love how the servers pour water in my cup without me even asking. Overall, good experience and fantastic (LARGE) food for such a cheap price.
google avatar

Yelp
The food was soo good! They were able to accommodate my pad Thai to make it vegan and it was one of the best Pad Thais I have ever had!!! I highly recommend!! the staff was also super friendly :)

Yelp
Absolutely delicious food! Couldn't believe how much food I was getting with my take out order. I turned my meal into three meals and the tofu here is like the perfect amount of crisp!!
google avatar

Yelp
Great Asian spot tucked in a nice quiet corner, convenient parking is provided in the back of the building. Ordered corn patties and ginger salmon both were excellent and tasty. Beautifully decorated with a great selection of music. Nice and clean, will be back soon!!

Yelp
My favorite place to get Thai food in Dallas. The food's good, the service is pleasant, the restaurant's clean & comfortable. This is a go-to for my family.
google avatar

Joanna M.

Yelp
This is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in Dallas, but it's hard to find parking near it. You have to walk downstairs to find it, but once you're in it's a very homey atmosphere. The food is exceptional and I really like the green curry and pork pad Thai!
google avatar

Dustin U.

Yelp
The food here is mostly good. I order delivery from Thai places all over town, but this isn't one I would recommend. The Tom Kha Soup isn't the best, a little sour. Also, (and I'd say most importantly) the portions are very small in comparison to their competitors. I ordered from here for several people in my office, and everyone agreed that we shouldn't use them again based on portion size, compared to other Thai places we had ordered from in the past. Update: I've eaten here a lot since my first review, and I don't know if the food changed, or if I have, but this place is pretty good. The Tom Kha is my girlfriend's favorite in Dallas, and she also prefers their spring rolls. Portions are still smaller than most places, but it's very good.

Yelp
Simply AMAZING Thai! Service and food was absolutely stellar! Ordered Coconut Soup, Basil Fried Rice and Red Curry. The coconut soup and red curry was rich and steeped in deep flavor that explodes in your mouth - they must use a coco unit cream to get the "weighted richness" - whatever it is it's absolutely amazing. Now on if my favorite dishes is Basil Fried rice - not an easy dish to please my taste buds / they went beyond pleasing to making them dance! The Basil Fried Rice has the perfect balance of spice and Basil to make for an exciting dining experience. Found my go to Thai spot in Dallas! M

Yelp
We got Si Lom delivered, and lemme tell ya, it HIT THE SPOT goooood! We ordered the green curry (I get this every time I get Thai) with beef and brown rice, panang curry with chicken, Thai beef jerky, crispy spring roll, and Thai curry puff. I loved my green curry!!! I got it mild, since I can't handle spicy. SO GOOD THOUGH, made me super happy. The panang was also delicious, would recommend! Out of the appetizers, I enjoyed the beef jerky the most, but the curry puff was also surprisingly good! They delivered in about 30 minutes on a weekday evening, which isn't so bad of a wait!

Yelp
You could almost miss this hidden Thai restaurant if you don't know what you are looking for. They are located at an office building right off oak lawn, next to the Goody Goody. I used the parking garage located off Hall st and entered through the doors there but you could also enter through the patio from oak lawn but that seems like more for take out. The food was amazing, portions extremely generous and service was on point! The ambience was intimate and quiet. They have a nice sized outdoor patio and they are even dog friendly! I started with some crispy spring rolls and the gyoza. The gyoza was not your standard steamed or pan fried option but here they only serve it up deep fried and topped with yummy sauces. Sooo good!! Crispy spring rolls are my go to appetizer and they did not disappoint. I had to go with the Pad Thai as my entree, it was flavorful and it was probably enough for two people. Can't wait to come back to try more food!

Yelp
I've been a regular customer for years. The food is always excellent, and so is the service. Their basil fried rice with chicken is the best I've had at any restaurant. And, I could drink the sauce that comes with the spring rolls. Love this place!!

Yelp
The food is always great. The one thing I can count on with Si Lom is consistency! The service and atmosphere is good too. Just a cool place that's low key with good food and drinks.

Yelp
So let me tell ya, this place never ceases to amaze me. I've been eating here a few years now, and when the pandemic hit, I still patronized them because of the food and the excellent service. Yesterday, they reopened their redecorated dining room, and I've been looking forward to this for like forever. The best appetizers are the crab avocado rolls, which come with an amazing green dipping sauce, and the corn patties!! The Pad Kee Mow wide rice noodle dish is extremely flavorful, and large enough to share (which I rarely do because I love it so much!) My dining partner had the Red Curry Roasted Duck, which was great!! All the curry dishes, especially the Mussaman, are very good!! Top it off with attentive service, and Nancy's hospitality and you sure to have an excellent dining experience!

Yelp
First time here and was happy with my takeout. The parking lot is a little harrowing, it's tight and small so I'm not sure what you do if it's full, but if you do get a spot, it's a 30 second walk and down the stairs and you're there. Food was ready basically exactly as quoted, 15 minutes. It was coming out as soon as I walked in to pick it up. I had the spring rolls and the peanut chicken. Spring rolls were good, the noodles on the end were a bit too crunchy (little burned but no big deal) but the flavor was great and the sauce was nice and acidic. Impressively, although they used a styrofoam container, they cut a small hole for steam so they were still nice and crispy when I got home! Loved that. The peanut chicken was loaded with bok choi, cabbage, broccoli, carrots, and baby corn, plus lots of thinly sliced chicken and a side of rice. It wasn't spicy at all, and like some other reviews, this place goes very light on the salt. I'm a Registered Dietitian so I can appreciate this, however I did end up sprinkling some on my bowl at home because it needed it. Next time I'd ask for a small amount of spice for more flavor. Also, the peanut flavor was very mild and I wish the sauce had more of a peanut punch and some crunchy peanuts for more texture but I'd prefer mild than inedible and too spicy. Also, the price was a bit steep at $14.00, but I can easily make 2-3 meals out of one order so I can deal. I will be going back. I want to see if their coconut rice is sweet like I'm used to and can't find in Texas!
