"Flavio Piromallo has another hit on his hands with this hip North Park District spot. In keeping with its trendy surrounds, the décor sports an industrial-chic look with concrete floors, exposed pipes and a massive photographic elegy to Sophia Loren. Laid-back, cool service completes the experience. The modern affect belies its classic Southern Italian cooking. Neapolitan-style pizza is a favorite, and the homemade pastas have terrific flavor—ravioli con manzana is a delicious signature. Mandorle al Caffé, a spongy almond cake with a layer of espresso custard surrounded by a duo of white and black chocolate sauce, is a decadent way to end a satisfying meal.Lunchtime leans quiet, but come for dinner for a lively and entertaining scene." - Michelin Inspector

Whether a date night or celebration, when you come here, you are part of the family. We enjoyed a weeknight family dinner to celebrate a long overdue visit. This charming gem took us back to memories of dining in Italy. The indoor space is adorned with lemon and green garland in such a way that you feel like you're in the beautiful outdoors. Service was excellent with attentive servers, providing thoughtful recommendations, not to mention incredible memory (to recite the 5 specials in detail). The ravioli with eggplant was a large portion. It was so delicious I gobbled it all up! It's encouraged me to continue to explore more eggplant dishes. The server surprised our family of 6 with some sweet treats. The Nutella Cheesecake and Limoncello Cake were divine! Note, well marked multiple veg/vegan options.

SiAmo Napoli makes you feel like you’re in an Italian restaurant in Naples! Owners Flavio and Giovanni Piromallo are welcoming, and ensure outstanding service and a wonderful experience! I have come back many times, and have been delighted each time! SiAmo Napoli is a Michelin Guide restaurant that features special selections from Italian Chef Alfonso of traditional food from Napoli, including homemade pastas, and daily specials! Flavio can handmake personal-favorite, off-menu Italian cuisine on request (tip: ask for Grigliata di pesce – grilled seafood platter, Osso Buco – tender and flavorful, Lobster ravioli in pink sauce, or Fettuccini alfredo with scallops and shrimp). Superb! Very delicious Lasagna, Fettuccine Carbonara, Gnocchi, Cioppino di Positano – salmon, scallops, shrimp, mussels, clams, and calamari in a light tomato broth, Salmone allo Zafferano – fresh salmon filet, Spigola dello Chef – very light fresh Branzino/Sea Bass, Pappardelle con il Ragù d’Agnello – flavorful, Cabernet-infused pasta with mild, slow-braised lamb, and Bistecca. SiAmo Napoli specializes in scrumptious Neapolitan Pizza and Calzone from their wood-fired oven, such as Margherita, spicy Piccante, and Contadina with homemade fennel sausage. Antipasti are all tasty, especially Calamari Fritti – cooked perfectly, Carciofi Saltati – Artichokes, and Arucola – citrus salad. Fresh Italian bread, and a nice selection of wines. Refreshing traditional Aperol spritz, Limoncello, Port, coffee drinks, and non-alcoholic cocktails, such as: passionfruit, lime, mint, and soda. Very delicious homemade desserts, including: Tiramisu, Cannoli, Nutella Cheesecake, Pistacchio Cheesecake, Limoncello Cake, and Tartufo – Hazelnut and Chocolate Gelato! Inside and outside seating. Friendly, attentive staff and service! Delightful! Their motto is well-chosen: “Come as guests, leave as family.”

I don't usually put on reviews here but this place was not it. Our family of 9 came in for our niece's pre- birthday celebration and we felt like we were being rushed from the get go. The person taking our order was not noting our order and had to come back to our table to ask again to clarify our order. Food started coming in and as we were eating on those small plates, they came and started changing our plates to big plates. They grabbed my dad's plate even though there was still food and not even asked before grabbing it. We were waiting for the salmon that we ordered and once it was served they were already asking if we wanted to box our other food. We commented on the guy that we felt like we were being rushed and he just laughed. We can see how they served other tables and it was plain to see how they treated us differently. Food looked good but almost everything was salty. My sister was excited she was able to book a reservation but we never expected we would have this kind of experience. I don't know if it's because it's a Friday and there's a lot of people but we didn't enjoy our time here. *I was writing this as we were still seated. They might've seen me writing and came out with 2 slices of free cake.

I love Cioppino and a friend recommended that I check it out at Siamo Napoli. This is an authentic Italian restaurant with nice, simple but pleasant, cozy ambiance. Cioppino was really good: good amount of seafood, cooked well, delicious. I would like to come back for other dishes as well.

Our waiter warned us that they had the best pizza and the area and he truly was not lying. I’ll be thinking about the Sofia pizza for the while because it was absolutely incredible. The dough and cheese were unbelievable. We also ordered the lamb ragu pappardelle pasta which was perfectly cooked. The flavors went really well together and the lamb was super tender. The mushroom and pancetta was good, I think I would’ve preferred more pancetta in the dish though.

Google
I had an excellent experience at the restaurant tonight. I enjoyed the ossobuco, while others had salmon, pasta, and cioppino—all of which were excellent. I’d rate the food five stars, the service a five-plus, and the ambiance a 3.5. Special shout out to Flavio—his mother should know he’s a true star at his work. We want to thank him for his exceptional service and kindness. If you’re in the San Diego area, this place is a must-visit. You won’t regret it; it’s an experience you should definitely enjoy. Just return from tasting food in the Tuscany region, this is best Italian food this side of Tuscany

My boyfriend and I went for Valentine’s Day and it was amazing. I have the cioppino and he had the lasagna and we shared the special house made mozzarella appetizer. We also shared a bottle of Barbaresco recommender by the server. And they gave us cannolis and Nutella cheesecake for free! Everything tasted great and the server was super friendly which made it an even more special night for us.

Been here 3 times already. We always drive all the way from LA to SD just to come here. I would rate it as the most legit and tasteful Italian place in California. When you see it’s a family business and you know this is the right place to go. The food is always so amazing. And the host is always so welcoming and friendly. Give it a try and you won’t ever regret it!!!

Yelp
Very good restaurant, love the seafood and the lamb. Great service! Highly recommend for anyone looking for a memorable dining experience. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
This is my fourth time visiting Siamo Napoli, highly recommend for the great happy hour and amazing service. Siamo Napoli's happy hour runs every day from 4-6 pm (see happy hour menu attached). I usually get the $10 pizzas. The appetizers are cheaper but they're also half size. I don't drink much anymore but the cocktails are also great!! Also ordered the Cavatelli. The pasta shape was great for holding the amazing sauce. The smoky flavor of the sausage went really well with the tomato cream sauce as well. I couldn't stop eating it!! I've also had their tiramisu before and can recommend. Every time I visit I see (who I presume to be) the owners, at least one of them there. They come check in on your table and it's really nice to see them involved and converse with regulars. Oh and the complimentary bread is great too! Both the red and green dips are delicious. Lots of seating area indoors and a few outdoor tables too. Even though Siamo Napoli is located in North Park, it's never a chore to visit because they have a designated parking lot in the back!! Just turn in the alley behind the restaurant, and there's a small, indoor parking lot connected to the back of the restaurant. Definitely will continue to return, and I love to bring friends and family here as well.

Yelp
Good Italian food, but not great. The decor was very cute with lemons all over the place. They did have a wood fired oven so I am curious whether the pizza was any good. We went with a special and modified mushroom pasta and subbed out the pasta type. The flavor was good. The bread that was provided was nothing special or warm or very flavorful. Came with a marinara and pesto dipping sauce. Overall it's worth a try if you're in the neighborhood, but there is better Italian food in little Italy or in Point Loma Server was very nice and attentive.

Yelp
The cavatelli with sausage is so good! We also ordered the squid ink pasta, but it wasn't nearly as good. Maybe it was just an off night. Service was really attentive and friendly. Love the convenience of the parking lot.

Yelp
So I really liked this place... Interior was beautiful and food was great! Food: I kind of built my own pizza with vegan mozzarella and it was the best pizza I've ever had out with vegan cheese! I also loves my coconut sour. Service: This was a hard one to say but if you are used to American dining and timed service remember the owners are Italian! Italians love to enjoy and take time to eat which I don't mind either!

Yelp
Easy reservation for 2 and we marked "date night" on opentable. Terrible street parking at 7:15pm on a Friday night. Almost gave up and went to a pay lot. Place was full of patrons. They sat us in the very back small corner next to a large and LOUD party of 12 with teens. Decor was navy themed with is great. But-We didn't get to enjoy the decor/ambiance I made the reservation for in the main room. Bread was brought to the table with marinara sauce and a delicious basil sauce. They have many choices of food I could not eat due to it being shellfish or lamb. Was hoping for a short rib pasta dish but no it was lamb. I ended up getting an undercooked by ALOT, sticking to your teeth pasta (-1 star) with sausage in a delicious vodka sauce. It came out very fast and hot. My husband got the lasagna it was just ok. I honestly will prob not go back. It seems popular enough they do not need my business to try other dishes.

Yelp
TL;DR: (3.5/5) Decent food but nothing special; good and friendly staff but not entirely attentive to orders Came for a birthday dinner and although the staff was friendly, he didn't get our drink orders correctly even after 2 reminders Ordered: - Piccante pizza: ordinary and semi-chewy crust (not our favorite) - Crescione salad: overdressed; good but not great Love Italian food but there's better ones in the area - no complaints about the food. Just think there's better options around

Yelp
Cute little Italian spot in north park. To be honest, we were trying to get into a restaurant across the street, but didn't have the time to wait so we decided to try this spot given the high rating on Yelp. Servers were friendly and attentive. Food came out super quick! For drinks, I ordered the sangria which was a large glass and more wine tasting than fruity. Husband hit a Negroni and enjoyed it. For food, we split a vegetarian pizza (added prosciutto) and the pappardelle pasta. The pizza crust was great, but the middle got very soggy and watery. I thought it could've used more veggies as well. The pasta itself was good, but the sauce was lacking flavor. There was a good amount of lamb in the sauce, but it kind of overpowered the dish. I thought it needed more salt and flavor. They did provide complimentary bread that was warm and soft to start. Parking can be tough in the area, but there are a bunch of side streets not far from the restaurant.

Yelp
Great staff here! Everyone was super attentive and friendly even though they were super busy on a Saturday night. Cavatelli- perfectly cooked Al dente pasta and really nice creamy vodka sauce. Fennel sausage was a nice addition. Lasagna- super with it if they have it as a special! The pasta sheets are thin but surprisingly the whole lasagna doesn't fall apart! I think they did great on their meat sauce, it acts more as a meat layer than meat sauce which probably helps to keep its shape and doesn't make it mushy. Must get! Cioppino- nothing too different than other places. Good amounts of seafood, pairs well with their bread!

Yelp
I've been to this restaurant once before, and the ambulance and food and service is amazing. It's a cute spot on 30th in North Park. The food is delicious for sure!! This time it was 4 of us and we are pretty well. My friends also enjoyed their drinks. Our food was: Cesar salad, bell shaped pasta with pesto and chicken, lobster ravioli in spicy marinara, a spicy pepperoni pizza, and the salmon entree. The lobster ravioli was okay according to my friend. The sauce was spicy and didn't really go w the food. It's better with a white sauce. The pizza called Piccantr was definitely spicy! The pesto I got was very delicious, with fresh burrata on top. The chicken was a bit too crispy for my liking, but the sauce was amazing. And my friend who is GF she likes her salmon dish.

Yelp
came here to celebrate a birthday and we were pleased to quickly get a table inside a well decorated area. Tons of fake foliage with lemons and cutesy little items on the wall make you feel a mixture of being at home and also in a foreign place oozing with culture. Fresh bread with red and green sauces was quickly brought to the table to enjoy while we reviewed the menu. We chose two different pasta dishes: cavatelli with sausage in a vodka sauce, and parpadelle with a lamb Rahul. Both were made fresh and came with very generous portions! we both ended up taking home leftovers. The sauces were complex and definitely made in house - something I don't have the skill to make. Overall it was a great dinner and a perfect place to celebrate a special occasion!

Yelp
With how many Italian restaurants there are in San Diego, I'm actually surprised with how many times Siamo Napoli gets mentioned. Maybe I came on an off night, but I just wasn't impressed. We were seated outside and ordered the pappardelle and the seafood special. A pappardelle is our usual menu go to, but this one fell short. You know when noodles get cooked but then washed so they taste a little watery. This was the experience I had. I truly believe that it could've been an off experience given the sheer number of positive reviews this place has, but it wasn't for me. Like I said, with how many options there are in San Diego, I'd prefer to stick to my other favorites.

Yelp
Atmosphere is really nice and cozy. They were really attentive with our table, always refilling our water and refilling the bread as we wait for our food to come out. We got the campanelle al pesto, cavatelli al peperoncino and the burrata e carciofi. The pasta was creamy and flavorful. Everything was super yummy and the portion sizes were pretty big!

Yelp
Amazing, amazing, amazing- staff, food, experience, everything tastes as if I were back in Italy. Fun friendly atmosphere! Definitely a must try!

Yelp
Siamo Napoli is located in North park and can be found on the Michelin guide. The restaurant was recommended to us so we gave them a try. It's a quaint, rustic restaurant decorated with faux foliage. Initially, we were seated at a table near a large party, but one of the diners at that party was clearly enjoying all the libations he could; he was overly loud and extremely obnoxious. It wouldn't have been an issue had he not used unsavory words and phrases in his conversations that my 12 year old could clearly hear. We asked to move tables and we were sat at a table that was occupied by flies. However annoying the flies, I preferred their presence over the one diner who lacked etiquette. The owner and restaurant manager were excellent though. They were both friendly, extremely personable and highly effective at diffusing a situation. Initially, nothing on the menu struck my fancy, but when they mentioned they had osso bucco with risotto as a special, I was sold. The meat was tender and flavorful. The risotto was good, but it was overcooked and a tad mushy. My daughter ordered their margherita pizza with prosciutto which she unfortunately, didn't like much. The prosciutto on the pizza was delicious, but it could have used more sauce. We also ordered their antipasto di mare (octopus, calamari, shrimp, arugula and green olives) and burratina with prosciutto as appetizers. The burrata was absolutely scrumptious. The cheese was soft, prosciutto salty, the greens fresh and bright. I thought the antipasto plate was beautiful and fresh, but I found it bland. Along with the food, I ordered an Old Fashioned which was balanced and smooth. For dessert, we were given a limoncello cake as well as a Nutella cake, on the house, and we ordered a pistachio cheesecake on top of that. Out of the three, the limoncello cake was unanimously our favorite. The cake was moist, the sweet and tart flavors were balanced. I'm not a fan of Nutella so that cake, for me, was undesirable. The pistachio cheesecake was not what we expected. We thought it would be a plain cheesecake with a pistachio layer or crumb topping. For me, the cheesecake ate monotonously. The cost of dinner was roughly 380+ (with tip) and we may visit again, but not anytime in the near future.

Yelp
It is perhaps time for an updated review. I have been dining at Siamo Napoli over the past several years. And since my first visit, to today, I am totally bowled over by the professionalism and warmth exhibited at this happy and superb restaurant. The décor is modern and airy. There is parking both in the underground garage of the building, as well as on the street. When you enter Siamo Napoli, you will be swept up into the love of a La Famiglia Italiana. You will meet Flavio, you will meet Giovanni, you will meet Salvatore. They will guide you through the many pleasures of the menu, with immense expertise and kindness, to discover each dish, a labor of love and creativity. You can I define perfection? It is the experience of the guest, in visiting a restaurant. We arrive at your house, your ristorante, in anticipation of the evening. And at Siamo Napoli, all of our expections are met, and exceeded beyond our wildest dreams. Bravo Siamo Napoli!

Yelp
Another great meal at Siamo. Sidewalk is great if you want to eat outside - most people are inside, but they had 2 small tables, and they moved ours so we were not next to the other people at all, and still had a nice heater. Our initial server seemed new, so we did what I mentioned in my review from last visit: if you encounter any glitches, ask for Giovanni or Flavio (or just grab them if you've been there before and know them!). They came outside, told us about all the specials our server had skipped, and got our food and drinks out pronto. We brought guests who were first timers and they loved their food and drink. I got the new coconut whiskey cocktail which has replaced the Amaro Sour. I liked it but liked the Amaro Sour better. I might ask next time if they can still make it! One of my guests got the Vesuvius and found it really interesting (Mezcal, cynar, orange, lime, basil... absinthe!). And another got the Sangiovese and really liked it. Apps: I got the Crescione salad (beets). Liked it, but it was not the best thing I've gotten her. SO got the soup of the day, which was a very delicious minestrone. Entrees: Last time I coveted SO's pizza, so I got my own: Margherita, with burrata added on ($18 + 6). DELICIOUS and very filling. An exceptional pizza (I am picked about pizza!). Guests got two pasta dishes and found them tasty and very filling. Dessert: the best course! We got four different things. --Tartufo: hazelnut and chocolate gelato: YUM. --Cannoli: I didn't taste it but SO liked it --Pistachio cheesecake: YUM. Delicious. Huge. Recommended! --Limoncello cake: I wasn't going to taste this one because I'm not a lemon fan, but I had one bite and it was DELICIOUS. Really bracing fresh citrus. Other people at the table gobbled this up. Overall, excellent meal here, on a great patio. Remember again: if your servers are slow or forget things: just ask for the owners (Flavio or Giovannia). They want you to be happy and to have the best experience with their extremely delicious Neapolitan cuisine!!

Yelp
Food was really good and came out pretty fast. I would highly recommend the PAPPARDELLE CON IL RAGÙ D'AGNELLO because of its slow braised lamb ragù. I was able to talk to Chef Daniel and he was very kind and informative of the menu. The inside of the restaurant was nicely decorated.

Yelp
Amazing ambiance, amazing service & amazing food ! We shared the calzone and gnocchi which I would both highly recommend. Full of flavor, everything was just right !

Yelp
The CAMPANELLE AL PESTO was my favorite and the espresso martini was so fresh and creamy it was perfect. Service was great, Flavio was so attentive and nice. The restaurant was decorated beautifully for the holidays and the new year.

Yelp
I came here for happy hour and it was pretty good. We got their calamari fritti, the fiore di zucca, and some potato croquette with prosciutto in it. We also got a magherita pizza and their scialatelli (not on the happy hour menu, just fyi). For dessert, we got tiramisu which was beyond good. But overall, it was a good experience and delicious food. The owner came out and greeted us, so he's very personable.

Yelp
Came by for a Friday night dinner with a reservation. For the 3 of us, drinks we ordered: -vesuvius $14 -apertivo sour $15 -hazy IPA $9 Food: -contadina (sausage mushroom pizza) $19 -margherita $18 -gnocchi mushroom special $29.95 -linguine nero special squid ink $38.95 -parpardelle ragu $29 -pistacchio cake $11 Food was good. On the pricier side for sure. Service was a bit slow on all fronts. I enjoyed the complimentary bread...really great! Crust on the pizza was great as well! Nice ambiance inside the restaurant. Park behind the restaurant in the alley. Go into the restaurant to get validation to park without paying! Otherwise, parking is definitely very hard to find in the area.

Yelp
A very unassuming storefront leads into a very festive space with a full bar and pizza hearth and a huge mural of Sophia Loren. Service was on point. Good recommendations, solid timing, and on top for drink reorders. Call me pedestrian, but I started with a refreshing Aperol Spritz, but the drink to order is the Bambina - tequila, pamplemoose, citrus juices and a Tajín rim. Delicious! We started with the Arancini, which there were two kinds - a traditional rice which was good, and a potato that was a fluffier version of a French croquette that was out of this world. Next was a garlic artichoke special that was truly amazing, perhaps the star of the evening. For my main I had the squid ink pasta and shellfish special. Everything on this dish was delicious except for the Langostino that was a tad mushy which doesn't align with my preferences. I think this might be my new Italian go to for now.

Yelp
We spend a lot of time in Italy. Well, naturally it's very difficult to find a restaurant here in the US that can compare. Siamo Napoli is the by far the closest we have found. They offer consistent delicious high quality cuisine, and a nice variety of wines--at a fair price. But just as importantly they possess a tremendous amount of genuine compassion, pride, and hospitality...which makes all of the difference!!! Ken&Jen

Yelp
- Service: Amazing, loved our waiter (funny, patient & accommodating) - Food (entrees): Disappointing (lacked flavor) & pricey - Parking: They have their own private complimentary underground parking lot but it's hard to find. Drive to the corner of 30th and Lincoln Street and go down a shady-as-heck narrow alley way, then down a short ramp. But you can walk directly back to it from the restaurant (it's connected like a garage). Appetizers: - Calamari Fritti: well fried and tasty - Burratina: Highly recommend, the burrata was lightly salted and delicious with the tomatoes drizzled in glaze Entree: - Campanelle al pesto (+ shrimp): cost $40 for a medium sized pasta dish that was lackluster at best. It tasted slightly of pesto but had no other seasoning whatsoever. I was extremely disappointed with this dish for the price point. It had a semi-watery texture (seems like a trend since that's what other reviewers have mentioned) and it could have used at least a sprinkle of flavor (maybe top it off with prosciutto bits). Even my husband, who who isn't picky, said it could have at least used some element of salt in it. Pros: - It was my friend's birthday, so they gave her a complimentary prosecco and a board with two generous slices of cake - one limoncillo and the other dark chocolate nutella. That was a nice touch!

Yelp
This place is one of the best Italian in San Diego! They are very down to earth and pricing is reasonable. Their seafood is always fresh and it's one the few places that do not charge for bread.
google avatar

Yelp
Our friends highly recommended this place for our dinner get together and they did not disappoint! The squash blossoms were delicious. Got the ragu pappardelle- delicious and the meat had a great texture- unlike regular ground beef. It was much for tender and juicy. Highly recommend!!!

Yelp
Outstanding service, quality and quantity; presentation. We are ready to return to North Park to try other dishes. Everything we tried was beyond our expectations. We all enjoyed the ambiance, the service and each dish brought out to us; including their lemoncello cake and chocolate mouse cake. Sangria was on point, not too sweet. Only disappointment was one of our dishes came out 20 minutes after our other plates, so when we began to eat all together our dishes were lukewarm. It was a full house so I imagine the order somehow was missed for our table.
google avatar

Maayan Y.

Yelp
We truly enjoyed our date night at Siamo Napoli! 5 stars for the overall experience, delicious food (possibly one of the best Italian we've had San Diego thus far) and the personalized service! Lots of great menu options and specials. The bread and pizza dough were just the perfect mix of fluffy and doughy! Margarita pizza (not pictured) did not disappoint. See photos for rest of our orders -- pesto was creamy and nutty, seafood pasta on special menu was good if you like squid ink pasta! Critiques were that sauce was mild, not a lot of scallops. Separate line for the Nutella cheesecake with just the perfect amount of richness and sweetness with Oreo crumb crunch at bottom - droolin'! When we first sat down, it seemed like the restaurant was very busy and overworked, took a long time to get our order and waiters seemed rushed -- but ultimately Flavio took over and promptly turned the service around. He got our order correctly and timed it perfectly! Even made sure to take care of whatever we needed and was enjoyable to interact with during our dinner. Special shoutout to Alejandro who made sure our waters were always filled without us noticing -- we were very impressed!

Yelp
Very nice restaurant. Finally got to try the food on 3rd try (1st time the group wanted something else, 2nd time came but didn't have reservation, 3rd time's the charm with reservations and just my group of 3 to not be denied again). Busy traffic and pedestrians around this area, so leave a little extra time to get here. There is parking for the restaurant on the back side alley, just enter the parking lot where the shutters are opened (sign for La Boheme customers only). Park the car, go get a biz card from the restaurant and go place that on the car dash. Instead of going through the main hallway door open on the right to go to the front side, you can enter to the open door on the left which is the back/kitchen area of the restaurant that connects to the restaurant directly without going out to to street. Arrived a little dazed and nauseated after some Manta roller coaster ride at Sea World (guess too old for even mild rides now..), and the hostess asked if I wanted a coke. Great suggestion, but once seated I was feeling better and Eduardo suggested glass of Super Tuscan, which was juicy and worked better to calm me down the final step, lol. Wife got the no alcohol, maybe the #1 NA cocktail which she enjoyed. Wanted to get the artichokes at first, but then was recommended the special artichokes that are whole, instead of chopped up. Went for that and it was warm comfort food, soft and garlic balanced by tart, oh so good. But it was also $22, so maybe the regular $14 artichokes would be just as good. Or maybe they give less on the $14 order not sure, even the 3 whole on the special got cleaned up easily. Bread with 2 dips, red was clean tomato garlic bit spicy, the green was pesto maybe, I liked both but gravitated more toward the green. Pizza was simple with fresh tomato taste, and also had a great smokey flavor. I got a piece and kid and wife ate up the rest. Got myself the lamb ragu pappardelle. Al dente pasta texture, with a nice savory juicy lamb bites. Had good amount of lamb to enjoy:) Wife saw some pics of squid ink pasta on google and asked about that. Not on the menu but yes they could make it! I got a bite of it and it had a great clean seafood broth flavor to it, not the typical heavy creamy sauce of seafood pastas. This special was $37 Overall, this was my style of Italian food. Simple clean flavors with garlic, olive oil, etc. Prices could be a bit better, but expected these days. Guess can control bill by skipping wine or specials, but then it wouldn't be the full enjoyment experience, so just go for the full package!

Yelp
This place is a gem in San Diego if you crave for Italian seafood cuisine! We ordered fried calamari, lobster ravioli and squid ink pasta and we cleared each plate :) I especially recommend the squid ink pasta as the pasta itself has a bouncy texture which makes it special. Alongside with the fresh seafood of shrimp, mussels, scallop and clams, this is a MUST order for seafood pasta lovers out there! I also enjoyed their service and ambiance of the restaurant. The staff are friendly and kept checking on us with more drinks or breads. As a football fan, it is also nice to see the legend, Maradona, painting on the wall even it is blocked by wines or so. It gave me some vibe of passionate football from the Napoli football club!

Yelp
This place was SO SO SO yummy. Came here on a Tuesday night and the place was not too busy. We ordered the papardelle ragu pasta and the margarita pizza. I was very mind blown by the pizza! Probably one of the best pizzas I've had in a while! The crust was on the thinner side but super pleasantly chewy! The pasta was great too! There is ample seating and ambiance is pretty vibey- dark and romantic ish!

Yelp
I heard this restaurant was the closest thing to Italy and I was so excited! I've never been to Italy but it definitely felt like I was there. Our server Ernie was amazing! He explained the special menu and always checked up on us. I had the espresso martini and the lobster ravioli. The espresso martini was so sweet and you could barely taste the alcohol (which is a good thing for me!!). The lobster ravioli has pink sauce which is my favorite and each bite had so much lobster meat inside. We also received a complimentary dessert to share which was such a sweet gesture to end the night. Coming back for sure!

Yelp
Absolutely love the light blue decor that makes you feel like you're on the Mediterranean Sea. The staff was incredibly friendly and multiple levels of personal checking tables to ensure everything is right. We had an issue where we asked to ensure no dairy in a dish and it came with a cream sauce and we had multiple levels of apology while they quickly remade the dish. The burrata is out of this world delicious and will bring me back on its own. I probably wouldn't order the pork shank again as it was a little to fatty for my taste but the sauces were amazing Stick to the pasta dishes and burrata and you'll have a magical evening on the Central Italian coast!

Yelp
Decided to have a farewell party for my coworker here at Siamo Napoli, OMG! Everything is taste so good, we are all sharing and every single pasta dish is tasty, I would say very authentic like in Italy! There's a quote "everything taste better in Italy" oh well I would say "everything taste better in Siamo Napoli" Drinks are good, server is attentive, the ambience is nice! Definitely recommend! VERDICT: I WILL COMEBACK :)

Yelp
Any time we are in North Park between 4-6p, we always stop by for their Happy Hour. The best deals are their pizzas (Margherita, Burrata and Tomato, or Vegetarian) for only $10! The drinks are just okay so I can't recommend them, even though many people were ordering them. Their beer was $7 on the HH menu. The free bread was so yummy with the red spicy marinara sauce being my favorite. If you haven't tried Siamo Napoli, please stop by. They are so nice and their food delicious!

Yelp
Hudband and I LOVE pizza and came here on the double date because I heard from a friend that they have good pizza. Definitely have good pizza. Came around 6:00 on a Sunday evening and the place was already really busy (good sign). Good thing we had a reservation Bread for the table - So soft and warm we couldn't wait until the other couple got there. Had to go for it while it was still warm. Came with some infused olive oil and marinara on the side - both good! Roasted Cauliflower - This was AMAZING! husband and I asked for a version without the oil, and we didn't realize until later they were actually making a custom order just for us. How was it? This was amazing. The cauliflower was roasted to perfection. Amazing flavor and the peppers and capers and whatever was going on there was just perfect on the side. A big big big thank you the chef and the stuff were actually going ahead with this for us. Salciccia e Friarielli Pizza (Mozzarella, house-made fennel sausage, rapini) - We actually planned to order the Piccante but husband actually ordered this one. We actually plan to order the pecante but husband actually ordered this one. Not going to lie. I got a little upset at first but the pizza was actually delicious. No tomato sauce in there which is how I prefer pizzas. And then added a little bit crushed chili flakes on top and it was perfect

Yelp
Our waiter Eduardo our waiter is awesome!!! The ambience was ok as the decor had vines with lemons hanging from above throughout. The had seating at the bar, outside, tables and bar styles seats by the bar. We got here by a recommendation from our daughter. No parking and it was Saturday afternoon. Only street parking or paid parking. We drove around for about 20 minutes before finding parking. This is sort of hidden and if you are not paying attention you will miss the restaurant. Coming inside we were greeted right away and seated in a table setting for 6 as there were 5 of us. Table setting - Tables and chairs were ok. The chairs were kind of worn dow, beaten and tattered as the "pleather" was torn on top. The small plates we noticed were Department of the Navy. Napkins were cloth and utensils were standard. Wine glasses were on the table and filled with your beverage of choice. Wife ordered Na Cocktail and says it was good. Prosecco was good as well. Restroom was clean but dark. The men's restroom towel dispenser was broken however, they had paper towels on the sink. They served freshly baked bread with green and red sauce....OUTSTANDING! The bread was warm and crisp and Fresh! Appetizers - - Arancini (Risotto Balls) Outstanding! Especially with the red sauce. - Fior Di Zucca (Squash Blossoms) another outstanding dish as we never had this and the whole family killed it. You can eat it with or without the sauce either way is was delicious. Entree - - Gnocchi Special is not on the menu but Eduardo recommend it and I would too. Had it with the Italian sausage and it was superb! - Campanelle Pesto was good with sausage but nothing superb to rave about. - Lasagna was ok and nothing to be crazy about. - Calamarata was a bit better than normal as the wife says it. She states that there were better but it is however better than normal. - Margherita Pizza was better than any pizza just by the fact it was baked in a wood fired pizza oven than can be seen anything the restaurant. What makes this restaurant unique is that you can ask them to make your pizza anyway you want. This goes for the pasta as well because the Gnocchi special was not on the menu. After dinner they came around and asked if we wanted our leftovers boxes and we politely obliged yes. To our surprise they came and boxed everything up for us. We thought we were finished and Eduardo came back and asked if we wanted desert. We tried Nutella Cheesecake and the Tiamisu. Desert - Nutella Cheesecake was pretty good as well as the Tiramisu. They were both served together and had sprinkles throughout. The kids engulfed the plate as they say it was that good. Service - As stated in the beginning it is one of the better ones we have been to. This is nothing formal but the service beats out some of the more very expensive restaurants we have been to in the past. If I had to choose, I will recommend Eduardo all day long. Some of the waiters along with Eduardo spoke fluent Italian which made the feel a bit more authentic. Had a pleasure dining here. Highly recommend this place and much props to our waiter Eduardo!!! This is a very popular place and highly recommended making a reservation as when we left the wait was over 2 hours and heard that some people were buttoned away and they were fully booked.

Yelp
I would highly recommend making a reservation to avoid long waits on the weekend. The restaurant has a cozy interior and a bar with pretty quick service. They provide free bread with both marinara and pesto sauce. The food portions are pretty large so I would recommend doing family style and sharing. I had the gnocchi with tomato sauce and smoked mozzarella. It was delicious with cheese melted underneath the pasta and a creamy tomato sauce. They also have specials every day and lots of seafood pasta options. There's pizza, fish, and other entrees available too

Yelp
First time here.. we were waiting to get in to Leila across the street and ended up coming here! Place was packed so that's a good sign-- and it did not disappoint! Everything we had was delicious! If the lights were a little dim, it would give it a vibe but I understand why it would be lit up so bright cuz they have so much tables. We will be back

Yelp
We went to SIAMO NAPOLI to celebrate my 60th BIRTHDAY!!! We had the best service, including from our server MATESINO G. We went with the intention of ordering certain things but our server soon went over the specials. Although they didn't have SPAGHETTI VONGOLE tonight, they agreed to make it for my BIRTHDAY!!! We each had a CEASER SALAD, which were large, and delicious!!! We then had LOBSTER RAVIOLI and the aforementioned SPAGHETTI VONGOLE. After those three things, we had a PIZZA. 1/2 CONTADINA and 1/2 MARGHERITA. Although it came out after the salad and the pasta, it was great because it was almost its own course. Finally, I was given a desert for my BIRTHDAY, and I chose the LIMONCELLO CAKE, which we shared. It was a bright, beautiful atmosphere, which we really enjoyed. It was a great BIRTHDAY DINNER!!! Best Ever!!!

Yelp
This place is the real deal!! I've always walked by but it's packed so I never go in. We made a reservation at 8pm on a Friday night and man it was busy! Unfortunately they didn't seat us until 25 min after due to the table taking a long time but they were very apologetic about it and even gave us free Prosecco for waiting-which is very kind and they were very attentive with the service! We started with artichoke special which had so much garlic but was very tender! I just wish it was a bit more charred but overall delicious. The calamari was also good and not too chewy. You have to get the pizza de chef!! It is sooo delicious and perfectly cooked!! Overall this place is such a hit and they treat you very well

Yelp
The food was authentic and fresh. This is not your usual commercial Italian restaurant. Highly recommend this restaurant

Yelp
Showed up here randomly on a Saturday night without reservations and they were able to squeeze us in. Our server was quick and offered different recommendations on what to get. The place was small but they fit in a good number of tables and it was busy. The drinks and food were delicious and our server even gave us his favorite dessert to try.

Yelp
Every dish I've had from here reminds me of my trip to Italy. Flavio and Giovanni are exactly as you would imagine Italian brothers would be. The service is great and ambiance is fun. I love how fresh everything is and that I leave happy and satisfied. You know when great ingredients are used by how you feel. You feel good and not sick when you have a full stomach unlike some other restaurants. My personal favorites are the seafood pasta and any of their pizzas. The dough is ridiculously delicious.

Yelp
This is the one. I grew up in Italy and moving to America I have not had the fortune in finding food similar to home. If you are in San Diego area, or anywhere near and want Italian food, Skip little Italy! The Siamo Napoli experience brought be back home. The pizza was amazing and actually authentic style. The service was amazing. Giovanni was a great host who took care of everyone. Kinda like in the movies when the owner has a conversation with everyone that's eating. It was amazing to speak Italian with him, which hardly ever happens to me here in America. The ambiance was great, I knew from the moment I walked in and heard multiple Italian speaking tables that it was going to be good. Felt like home. 10/10

Yelp
My gf and I ordered the special vodka pasta and tiramisu for takeout to grand in a picnic for our 3 year anniversary. There's something about this vodka sauce that is so cheesy and creamy it really is the best sauce there. The extra touch of burrata was a great addition that didn't make it too much cheese either. The tiramisu was just ok. It was very moist and the light hints of mocha were delicious. I felt that the icing on the top of the tiramisu was a little too sweet because there was an additional layer of the same icing inside already, but just scoop that top layer off and it was pretty good. Honestly, the food was pretty great for it being a takeout order! The restaurant is extremely busy as the workers are running around and to actually hear anyone they have to be yelling at you. We had our takeout scheduled for 6:30PM, but unfortunately the food still wasn't ready until 7:20PM.

Yelp
I was here for an event, so it was a catered menu. Appetizers were very good. Surprisingly the artichoke was delicious with a garlic taste to it. I also tried the meatballs, which was very good. I tried three different types of pizza. Unfortunately I did not know what they were called but all the pizzas were amazing. The dough is a little bit salty, in a good way. I would say the number one must try is a pizza. The service was very good. We had a large party ambience spectacular very nicely decorated for the holiday season.
