Best Barbie Movie Events in Las Vegas For Brunch, Parties, and Drinks - Eater Vegas

"Side Piece Pizza at Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa regularly offers movie-themed slices of pizza. For July, the restaurant is whipping up specialty pies inspired by Barbie. The “Barbie-Q” slice is topped with BBQ chicken, red onions, and ranch drizzle. It’s $6 with a ticket to the Barbie movie or $8 without." - Janna Karel

Very tasty! The crust was perfect Went again today for the Wednesday special. Man this Pizza changed. The price went from $13 to $15. They also changed the crust and cheese. Super floppy now even when ordering it well done and the cheese was really oily and chewy. This was a top 5 Pizza in Vegas for me but now it wouldn't make the top 25!

Google
Gerald was very kind, attentive and communicative. Was very helpful and didn’t make me feel rushed during my ordering process. 🤘🏼 Amilcar was very nice and super knowledgeable and quick when it came to getting my order ready to go. Guy knows his way around the oven.🔥 This place gots a great staff and I give em 11/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ service!!! Will definitely come back again! Thank you gentlemen!!! Pizza 🍕was great!!! Super yummy!!!

Google
From the east coast reminds me of home Slice of cheese can’t go wrong Consistent tasty and can’t go wrong 7.8 on the cheese slice

Google
Everyone needs a side piece every now and then. This spot is located inside Red Rock Casino. Quick and easy slice of pizza. Fresh and hot. The flavor is great! Cheese slices are typically the freshest. You can order a whole pie as well.

Zeke Lyles

Google
Inside the Red Rock Casino. Large slices to go including a 22 inch pizza special for 13 bucks on Wednesdays. Ordered a slice of cheese and a large Pepsi. Hit the spot. I say check it out.

Google
Everyone needs to enjoy an occasional Side Piece...of pizza. First time trying this spot out. This pizza is G O O D! Plenty of flavor! The toppings were right on point. I tried the Bianca. Do yourself a flavor, and try this place out. Super helpful at the front. Good atmosphere as it's in the Red Rock Hotel. Plenty of places to sit as it's in a food court. Will definitely come back and would recommend this to anyone.

Google
Was there in late July 2017 and was truly amazed at how amazing their staff and food selection was! They have happy hour specials with great selections, their staff is super attentive, and their food is AMAZING!!! Hands down to the best Italian restaurant in Las Vegas!! ***5 star review was for the restaurant that was previously at this location, not the new pizza place.

Google
What a great experience as the people were so nice. We had our daughter's birthday party inside Redrock and we ordered delicious pizzas from here. We didn't realize this place was here and as locals we are looking forward to making this our go-to place for pizza!

Yelp
Love there pizza There good customer service And like to give more good service They always smile Good taste Most try it

Yelp
Typically if I'm at Red Rock, it's for dining, so coming to this counter in the food court is rare, but I'm thankful it's here. I've grabbed a slice or two after a mixer at Rouge Room, and most recently tried their stromboli for a grab-and-go lunch. Slices are standard, and I was pleasantly surprised by the stromboli - they have both a veggie option and a supreme option, I chose the latter. Service was friendly and fast, they let me get both ranch and marinara for dipping without an upcharge, and let me know about rewards on my account that I did not know about. TIP: Sign up for their loyalty club for discounts and promotions, like "last call" (half off slices after 930PM weekdays) and $15 22" cheese pizzas on Monday, etc. They also recently sent out a $17 birthday credit!

Yelp
Food was cooked fairly quickly and tasted great. The staff was friendly and their spot looked pretty cool.

Yelp
$31 large 22" pepperoni; large greasy, piping hot and a fabulous crunch and chew on the crust. I'm honestly sad we don't live closer so I can cash in on the Weds deal. Great pizza if you're in Red Rock! Or at National Bank!!
google avatar

Yelp
Suprisingly decent crispy NY style slices at the fast food court of Red Rock. Love the name by the way. I got a pepperoni slice and wasn't disappointed. Side Piece wasn't ridiculously overpriced, the slice was a good size, and hit the spot. Perhaps a tiny bit greasy but not overly so and who here is surprised to find that a slice of pepperoni is greasy anyway? Kind of unfair to judge unless we're talking pools of orange but this wasn't that. More from the cheese than the relatively grease-free natural casing cup and char style pepperoni they use (i.e. "rustic" or "artisan") and it was really enjoyable and filling Good stuff.

Yelp
Fast service. Basic. Skip the Stromboli (raw dough sludge inside). Would not recommend the cheese sticks either, but id take them over the Stromboli Not my fave, but if nothing else around will do, stick to a snack slice of pizza to tide you over til something better.
google avatar

Shie S.

Yelp
Okay pizza. The prices are not too bad. We tried the supreme pizza but the toppings were not the greatest. Cheese taste cheap and the grease had a weird after taste.

Yelp
We had a tourist in town interested in trying the chicken Parm pizza - a pizza where the crust is made from an actual piece of chicken. The red rock casino is a very nice casino, with great restaurants, but I would say this one was just ok. It's located in the food court, and the pizza was $26, which isn't crazy, but when the pizza arrived, the chicken was almost inedible. It was chewy and hard and we didn't even finish the pizza. That being said, the restaurant also has pizza by the slice, which is usually $7-8 a piece (a bit pricey), but after 9 they are half off. So I had the bianca slice and meat lovers slice for about $8 altogether, and for that price id say it was decent. The pizza had been sitting out for awhile obviously, but it was still pretty good. Overall I'd say this isn't worth a specific trip, but if you're already in the casino and it's after 9, grab some half off slices!
google avatar

Farah A.

Yelp
Price was a bit high for regular pizza. The convenience was they sold individual slices. The pies are $22 and are about 8 slices not worth the price. The pizza itself was not bad but nothing rave worthy. Overall for single slice options and location we would go back but I would not suggest ordering pies from here.
google avatar

Todd M.

Yelp
This place has some legit pizza and at the time were running a great deal on their largest pizza. The dough is on point and overall flavor is great. I have since tried their white pie as well and was pleased with that pie as well.
google avatar

Jhunelyn T.

Yelp
We go here sometimes for lunch when we make sports bets. I've had the Bianca pizza and pepperoni pizza before and they are always cooked perfectly! The bottom is crispy and crust is crunchy. Super foldable like a true New York style pizza. If you're having for lunch, one slice is a great portion size. We always end up being pretty full from one. I've also ordered the angioletti before! It's delicious and shareable. I recommend getting one to share. Service is pretty good and prices are not bad. Usual food court ambiance. Definitely happy Side Piece is here since it's much better than the old pizza place that used to be there.
google avatar

Jack P.

Yelp
The pizza is paper thin and had been sitting out for a while. Not fresh at all! Hardly no sauce on the slice and two slices were $15.00 absolutely not worth it! The gentleman behind the counter spoke broken English and I had had a hard time communicating with him. The ambiance is typical mall style food court. Nothing special! Not a do over for me.
google avatar

Shavon S.

Yelp
This pizza is so good plus the staff is amazing, Gerald not only made the best pizza but he was very helpful. Highly recommend this place
google avatar

steve s.

Yelp
Do they not have the right sizes boxes? This is how the pizza was packaged. Tasted terrible, cold and looked like someone just threw it in an over sized box.
google avatar

Jenna H.

Yelp
This business gets an A+ in customer service. I have been here about 2 times in the past 6 months, and Carlos is so awesome. He always has a smile on his face and is always ready to serve. The prices aren't bad for being inside a casino. All slices are larger and under $10. For a quick afternoon snack, this place always hits the spot. Located inside the food court of Red Rock Casino. Typical food court style seating. Rarely busy when I go at 1pm.
google avatar

Torre A.

Yelp
No idea why this place has such bad reviews. People are dramatic. This is a really good pizza spot especially for being in a casino. Thin, flavorful crust topped with great quality toppings. These people are out of towners. Vegas pizza in general sucks. If you're expecting New York, take your ass to New York. lol. Great spot compared to the other Vegas spots.

Margot L.

Yelp
This place is awesome. If you're into suburban pizza for your weekly family dinner night, don't review this. Nobody cares about your opinion. This is classic nyc style pizza which is hard to find in Vegas. Great sauce, cheese and crust. And for those complaining about the price, I'm sure you dished out way more at chick filet last week. East coasters, if you want a good pie, order up, it's the closest I've found after ten years in Vegas.

Yelp
Pizza rolls are so good you have to try these. I will be back to try some actual pizza next time also

Yelp
I tried Side Piece Pizza on March 6. All I ordered I was a plain cheese slice, I took it to a food court table, sat down, and took a bite. I was immediately taken back in my mind to any given day in 1975. This absolutely huge, thin, ultra crispy slice was a slice of heaven. I have had many slices and pies from a plethora of places in the Las Vegas Valley with all sorts of toppings. I was kind of shocked that this plain piece of cheese pizza, with a hint of oregano, so thin and crispy, could take me back to an NJ like childhood experience from my elementary school days. It amazes me that in the 3 days since I experienced this pizza it has crossed my mind a number of times. Whatever cheese they used on that pizza just hit the spot. To the point, I want to go back and get an entire pie and have at it. This place is just a counter spot in the food court at the Red Rock resort, who would have thought.

Yelp
Was better before. First few stops I was amazed... Now it's very salty. The pizza matched the dudes energy. Just done with the place filled with regret/saltyness. Maybe he made the pizzas... However it's below average. The crust, sauce, cheese and toppings are the same sooooo they got that going
google avatar

Abe M.

Yelp
This place is super awesome!! Had no idea this was here in Red Rock Casino. You can buy slices or you can buy a whole pizza. We were just trying to find time to kill waiting for our next showing at the theater. I saw this place at the food court and I had to give it a try. Different from other Pizzas, The way they make it has their own signature. I ordered me a slice and this slice was super huge!! I'm not going to kid around this slice was addicting lol!! I didn't get it greasy. The pizza is also available in veggie. Cool place I am definitely making this my go-to when I come back.
google avatar

Alan S.

Yelp
Very expensive. Slice of pizza was still at room temperature. Flavor was below average. Service was terrible and they acted bored and uninterested to help.
google avatar

Jerry B.

Yelp
It is so hard to find decent pizza in Las Vegas. I absolutely love this place. This is legit NY Style Pizza. It's worth the drive over here and the money spent. I order a whole pie and between the two of us, we eat the whole thing!!! I have no idea why it's not on the "best of" pizza places in Las Vegas!
google avatar

Martika A.

Yelp
Used to be able to order a 22" cheese pizza on Wednesdays for $13 & pay extra for toppings. It was a great deal. I used to come here every Wednesday & get a large one for the family. Today I was told I CAN ONLY ORDER A CHEESE PIZZA. I'm definitely not mad at the messengers (the 2 guys in the evenings would be the same 2 guys I saw every evening, they're super cool). Taking our business elsewhere. Not like they were losing money when you pay for extra toppings.

Yelp
Side Piece Pizza is located inside the Red Rock Casino & Resorts off of the 215/Charleston Exit. Currently, the original location inside the Palms, for Side Piece Pizza is unavailable. This is there second location, inside the food court. It's easier if you park on the west side garage parking for Side Piece Pizza. The elevators will bring you to the bowling alley, movie theatre area. A few steps away, and you're right at the food plaza inside Red Rock Casinos! We walked up to Side Piece Pizza and looked at their menu. Most of the menu items were on display and ready to warm in their oven. We decided to order the following Sicilian Pepperoni Pizza (1 slice) Bianca Pizza (1 Slice) Cheese (1 Slice) Meat Lovers (1 Slice) An order of their garlic knots. We sat down in the booth seating available inside Red Rock Casino. We had arrived at around 6:00 P.M on a Thursday evening. It was packed! It took about 5 minutes for the team to warm up the order. The Bianca Pizza was delicious! Lots of cheese and ricotta. The pizza slice wasn't over cooked and was enormous! I was extremely disappointed in the Sicilian Pepperoni Pizza. The bottom of the pizza was burnt. All you could taste was the burnt flavor of the pizza. The garlic knots were scrumptious. Lots of garlic! The Side Piece Pizza did not provide marinara sauce for the order though. Overall, this is a great addition to Red Rock Casino & Resorts. It was pretty inexpensive as well, under $40.00 for the entire order!

Michael N.

Yelp
I love this place. I'm a pretty simple pizza guy and they keep it simple and fresh with big slices and a super friendly staff.

John K.

Yelp
I got a whole pizza you would think they would make a fresh pizza for me totally the opposite it was just a bunch of whole pizza out in the pizza box never see that before and pizza wasn't really good for the price
google avatar

Shane B.

Yelp
I love it!! The wife & I came here to get some pizza before seeing a movie & we were really impressed! She got a slice of the Bianca pizza & I got pepperoni. Both came out great! Crust was thin, New York flop but a nice crunchy exterior. The slices were huge! Quality toppings & the sauce was incredible. We also tried the Stromboli & that was good too! Next time I want to try the Sicilian pizza. Will definitely be back & I think I have a go to pizza place now!
google avatar

Louie S.

Yelp
What a slice! Definitely worth the 20+ minute drive for my family and I! My wife came across this gem of a pizza joint via a friends recommendation and figured we'd try it out. We parked on the west parking structure and took the elevator to the casino level. As we exited left out of the elevator hallway we could see it off in the distance at the food court. When we approach, we are greeted by staff and he asked what we'd like to try. We went with Cheese, Pepperoni, Veggie, and meat lovers for our slices and garlic knots on the side to be heated up in the oven. Paired that up with some bottled water and root beer. If you'd like to add chili pepper flakes or grated Parmesan, those are located at the counter. The pizza itself is not overly greasy like many others. The cheese to sauce ratio is on point. The veggies taste fresh along with the pepperoni. The meat lovers is perfectly proportioned. For a slice on its own, I can't complain as the serving is generous and felt full after I finished to the point that we had to take the garlic knots (and marinará) home. Fountain drink refills are complimentary. Overall a good experience as this casino food court pizza joint lives up to its reviews and then some. If you're in the area, drop on by and give them a try!

Alfredo Q.

Yelp
General manager is rude. Has no respect and had no customer service. Will never come here again.
google avatar

John S.

Yelp
If you are looking for a place that lets pizza sit out for hours then zaps it, look no further Service took forever and the food looked gross. It's right inside of a food court and they look like a Sbarro but painted black and somehow worse pizza.
google avatar

Tony T.

Yelp
Good pizza, nice crust and good flavors. Solid pizza for a food court it is pretty good.
google avatar

Rebecca D.

Yelp
Well I must say On a Wednesday night with screaming kids and no plans to cook this might just be my next move often. I ordered a 22 inch pizza with mushrooms. The slices are gigantic and it taste great. Way to go side piece
google avatar

Sonia P.

Yelp
Great choose putting a pizza place inside red rock. Slices are a good size for a fair price. Tried the white and cheese slices. Both very good. The white is my favorite. Definitely going back to try other options. Easy to order and friendly staff
google avatar

Antonio M.

Yelp
The pizza was good. Surprised how inexpensive it was. We ordered the meat lovers. Fed 6 people and we couldn't finish it all.
google avatar

R M.

Yelp
Insanely flavorful pizza. Ordered a cheese pizza with a salad. Both excellent! Service was really good. Order came out fast.
google avatar

Shawn C.

Yelp
While trying to place my order the employee left me and took another customers order ??? Honestly the rudest thing ever!!? Probably a blessing because the pizza looked horrible!!! Don't recommend this place to anyone!!!
google avatar

Trent N Lola M.

Yelp
Tried this place for the first time and the pizza is delicious. I definitely recommend this spot, large slices and tasty. Will definitely go back when I want pizza.

Mickhael H.

Yelp
By far that was the worse pizza I have ever tasted. The dough had no flavor not to mention hard. The sauce straight out of a can was salty and horrible just like the rest. And now the cheese. That was definitely no Grande or even mozzarella as it was hard and did not stretch like mozzarella does. I should have know I was looking down disaster pizza avenue as soon as I saw it cook on a screen. I could not ingest 3 bites of it and my dog who eats bananas with the peel on would not eat it. Please do not insult real pizza with that think you call pizza. If you like I will gladly stop by next time in Vegas and teach you how to cook real pizza, like New York or even Italy if you are up for the challenge, and I will not even charge you for my time.
google avatar

Renee S.

Yelp
Dana White says it's good.. so it must be good. Handling things properly according to covid protocol. It's kinda hard to mess up pizza but this place is worth the calories. Delicious
google avatar

Chad I.

Yelp
Very good - one of the Bette pizza places in Las Vegas Glad this is in Summerlin Will be the local go to spot

Jackie B.

Yelp
I stopped in yesterday to order a pizza for my 4 year old. This place is normally pretty good, but yesterday's pizza tasted like whoever made it poured straight salt on it because they hate their life and want to ruin someone else's day. My husband and my brother both agreed that's not how side piece pizza tastes. There was no way I was going to allow my son to eat the pizza so it went straight in the trash. What a waste of money!
google avatar

Nicole G.

Yelp
Slices are big, more on the New York side. Needs more sauce and lacking flavor. Felt stale like it had been sitting out. Does the job but many better places elsewhere. For one slice ~$9 take your money elsewhere for quality.

Nick C.

Yelp
Great NY style pizza. They're always consistently good. Great deal on Wednesdays. They're very nice and efficient.
google avatar

Sam R.

Yelp
Gotta love the name!!! We always chuckle when we go by this place - and the other day we were starving and had little patience for anything else that would take a significant amount of time to make. A slice just seemed like the wise move. It was OK - not remarkable and not terrible. Strangely it was not much over room temp, but that wasn't a problem either. The stuff on top, therein lies the issue - it was not fresh. Or something was off - seems the sausage was "sour" (not good). The other things were wilty and sad. Mushrooms tasted funky... and the service was less than friendly. It was an off moment, because after that incident a plain slice later was just fine! Just be ready and maybe cheese can be your backup!

Thomas C.

Yelp
Excellent New York style pizza!! Thin, crispy, foldable etc. Minus one star only because it seems a little pricey for a whole pie but go Wednesday to solve that dilemma.
google avatar

T W.

Yelp
Friendly service but took 30 minutes for a 14" pepperoni and Bianca pizza. I was pleasantly surprised at how good this pizza was even if it was on the greasy side. I appreciated that pizzas are made to order and we should have called ahead. Personally I think this is the "best" among all the offerings in the food court area (vs restaurants) of red rock casino and resort.

Kathy S.

Yelp
I ordered through GrubHub for an office lunch. I placed the order first thing in the morning. It arrived 30 minutes late and cold. Only two of the three pizzas I ordered arrived, and nobody contacted us!
google avatar

Spencer K.

Yelp
Side Piece Pizza is a simple, quick, & easy pizza spit for quick eats. I'd recommend Side Piece if you want something decent.
