I could not recommend Silvano more highly! He is an incredible tailor, close attention to detail, countless styles and fabrics to choose from, and is a pleasure to work with! Silvano made a custom suit for my wedding, and it is hands down the nicest suit I’ve ever seen. He also included 5 custom button down shirts. The suit is comfortable and looks amazing. Aziz did an amazing job with my first bespoke suit and shirts. I’ve always purchased suits off the rack and they never quite fit right, even with extensive alterations. I saw Silvano bespoke tailoring and decided to give it a try and I can’t say enough good things about my experience or the final fit of my new garments. Silvano tailor is the real deal. Aziz is a master in the true sense of the word. I have two custom suits that were made for me here from the finest luxury wool fabrics. All beautifully hand stitched. People compliment these suits everywhere i go. The fine details and the expert craftsmanship really shine. Also, the new jackets are amazing!

What a lovely guy Silvano is! Went with my husband to tailor a blazer. Price is very reasonable for such high quality. He is efficient and lets you decide what you want, he isn't pushy in the least but he'll steer you well. He'll be our new tailor from now on!

First-Class Tailor in NYC! Silvano's shop revives the old-school tailor experience with classic traditions and modern styles. Been going to Silvano for years for suit alterations and tailored fit on my store-bought suits and shirts, but getting my suits custom tailored by him. Whole other level! Silvano worked with me on every stitch, button, seam, and lining to build out a series of suits that cannot be compared.

Silvano is great! I needed a long skirt hemmed and taken in (for a fancy event) and he did a very beautiful job. He walked me through the process and explained everything. These guys are miracle workers! I took a beautiful, expensive suit here that every other tailor in the city told me to throw out: it had been ravaged by moths and had four largish holes in the back and shoulder. The suit needed to be rewoven rather than simply altered and I was told these guys were the only ones in the city up to the task. Expensive -- but cheaper than a new suit -- and not the kind of place that rushes jobs, but completely worth it!

This place just opened up 2 weeks ago and I came across it when searching yelp for a tailor near my office. I had a flight only a couple of hours away and needed a new pair of jeans and blazer tailored immediately. I called a few other tailors and they said no way, but when I called these guys they said "absolutely!". The service was impeccable and the quality of their work was first rate. And when I got there, I also saw the beautiful custom suits and clothing they do as well. I will most certainly be back for my next suit and all my alterations. A top notch tailor in midtown manhattan!

I was referred to Lotta Re-Weavers by Brooks Brothers for a suit that got a tear in the pants that BB would not work on. While my pants were being worked, the operation moved to Silvano Custom Tailoring. I was originally told one month and $100 for my pants repair, which required fabric from my pants cuff to be stitched into the rip area near one of the front pockets. Due to one of the workers getting sick, there was a delay on my pants pickup, but they were very good about communicating the new time frame. After about 6 or 7 weeks, my pants were ready. However, they were not done to my satisfaction. The stitching was very obvious - I would not have worn the pants again in that state. They agreed to try it again with another weaver. This took several more weeks, but I must say the wait was worth it. I just picked up the pants today, and I could only barely see the new stitching... and I was looking for it. This would have been a more expensive job (~$200), but in good faith, they made the transaction right with me and did not charge me extra. While the work took some time, it was due to some unforeseen circumstances that I was sympathetic to. At the end of the day, they saved a nice suit of mine for a good price. I would have given 5 stars had they turned out that way on the first go-around, but I am ultimately very happy given the outcome.
