Sistahritas, Sistahritas, Sistahritas... if I say it three times, would you appear? 🤣🤣 All I can say is professionalism from start to finish, and the food was delicious. If you need a food truck, look no further! Shayla, the owner, is about her business. She communicates well and clearly explains what you will get when partnering with her. She did not disappoint. We partnered with her for our annual subdivision event, and when I say "everyone" raved about how delicious the food was... As the organizer, I had to take a break just to see for myself. Man, when I say I popped my lips after every bite and told everyone within earshot how good the food was... I became a walking billboard after that. Look, Sistahritas put it down. You will not be disappointed! Please follow her to find her open events. It's worth it.

The food is 9/10 for sure!!! Now the corn was trash!!! My corn had no flavor looks as if the barely put anything on it. The boom in sauce is good also!!! I’m mad about the corn I paid my $4 for and I thought it would have been a little bigger.

I visited this black owned establishment on Thursday, September 20, 2022. Upon arrival, I parked in the free gravel parking lot. This food truck is located on Fayetteville Road in the U-shaped food truck park area. I arrived right at opening time. Once I walked over to the food truck, there were already patrons waiting for their orders to be filled. Keep in mind, there are a lot of to go orders especially from large work groups during the day. Therefore it took about 35 minutes for me to get my order. I decided to order the following: Fried fish and shrimp Poboy taco, Chicken bacon ranch taco, Phat steak taco, Blueberry lemonade, and Street corn. The owner was working this day and was pretty nice and professional. She did apologize for the wait and stated they were short staffed. There was literally only her and one other young girl working the food truck. Upon me ordering the street corn, she did say that it will be about 10 to 15 minute wait for that. I definitely don’t think that anyone should go here if they don’t order a to go order. Unless they realize there is going to be a wait time of at least 30 minutes before they get their food, depending on what they order. The owner did inform me all of the lemonades are handmade with flavors including: Peach, Blueberry, and Mango. They also have a smaller company called Boozy Beverage that works within their food truck area. They provide non-alcoholic and alcoholic frozen and regular Margaritas. They also have an outdoor seating area, which is adjacent to the food truck. It was quite hot out this day, so many people just took their orders to go and left. They do have a shaded area right near their food truck where you can sit and wait for your order. They do take cash and cards at this establishment. This food truck can be quite difficult to catch, so I do advise that you look on their Instagram handle Sistahritas for their weekly schedule. Once my order was ready, my name was called and I proceeded to the counter to pick it up. I decided to eat my food under the outdoor shaded dining area. Once I sat down to attempt to eat my food, there were a good amount of flies that came around and tried to fly on my food. Eventually they went away, but the Georgia heat did get to me after a certain point. When I opened my food, I noticed that the Street corn was placed in a plastic bag. This is great since none of the cheese or seasoned topping came off of the corn. The tacos that I received look absolutely delicious and fresh. Once I bit into the tacos, I noticed how amazingly good they were. These are the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life. I’m not surprised because I know that Black people know how to cook literally everything. The taco shells were cheese crusted, which is a unique touch. The taco shells were lightly crispy and not soggy. My favorite taco was definitely the Chicken bacon ranch taco. It had a fusion of fresh and amazingly seasoned chicken, crispy bacon toppings, and their special Boomin’ sauce. The Phat steak taco was also quite savory and seasoned well. It had a unique touch of onion rings and can’t forget the Boomin’ sauce. The Poboy fish and shrimp taco was also very tasty with a twist of the Cajun sauce. I must admit that all of these tacos were simply heavenly and the portion sizes were perfect. I ate so much of this, I couldn’t even finish it because it was so much food. The corn was also seasoned quite well and I loved how fresh it was. It wasn’t frozen and the sauces and cheese included were wonderful. It was definitely worth the wait of the extra 10 minutes. The Blueberry lemonade was also fresh and balanced. It wasn’t too sweet or too bland. After I ate this meal, I was full for the next 4 to 5 hours because it was so much food. Especially if you want tacos without having to go to the Hispanics to get them. These are the best tacos I’ve ever had in my life and better than any Hispanic restaurant I’ve been to. I would highly recommend this black owned establishment to everyone in Atlanta.

Me and my family went here yesterday and man they food was so gooooddd!!! I got the stacked chicken nachos and my bf got the dirty fries!!! They were done so fast and were fresh and hot!! The employees treated us with love when we got there!! I’m always worried about others food since Im a cook myself and always never eat out. But baby this was so good! 10/10 I would definitely be going again and bringing my Michigan family this time!! Thanks again for the delicious food!!

The food was delicious and the customer service was 💯. The only reason she didn't get a 5-star is because, she was out of street corn. Please, make sure you check her social media pages for hours of operation.

Amazing service. Fast and friendly. Yummy. We had the vegan tocos which were so delicious and two sides of rice and beans. Will be back soon. Highly recommend oh I can’t forget about the apple kiwi lemonade a must try❤️

Run don’t walk to get some of the street tacos!! Today was our first day giving Sistahritas a try and it was delicious. We got the chicken and steak street tacos - you can tell how fresh her steak and chicken are. Both were seasoned to perfection. Can’t wait to be back soon to try the rest of the menu!

Sistahritas is always on point! I’ve had several items on the menu and they are all great. I order the po boy taco every time because it’s just that good. Some places rely on condiments and sauces to add flavor. But the meat at Sistahritas is well seasoned and flavorful on its own! I referred my coworkers to them and they wanted to go twice in one week!

Delightful and delicious! Tried them for the first time tonight and everything was so tasty! We especially loved the Phat Steak Taco, the Po Boy taco, and the Bacon Ranch Taco plus the strawberry lemonade was excellent! They post their locations weekly on IG and we visited the Fayetteville Road one in East Atlanta! We love supporting Black (and woman) owned business and will be adding this to our takeout dinner favorites!

Mother/Daughter operation running the truck and they were very nice people. Not only that but their tacos were fire. Get the poboy taco and the phat steak taco and you are set. They ain't shy with it. Don't listen to the fools that say they are closed. They cater too so just call before you go.

The place is shut down and don't know why it's even on here smh . Waisted my time and gas driving here for no reason

The food truck is located in a parking lot of a closed bbq restaurant. The grass had been mowed but no weed eating. There was trash strewn around the place. It was 5:30 pm. They were out of fish/shrimp. We ordered chicken quesadillas. The flavor was good but they were burned. The phat steak taco had a good taste but had very little meat and the tortilla was tough. The burrito was huge and very tasty. The rolled tacos were tough and just ok. Overall, I would try it again if I was in the area-this could have been a bad day. I would not make a special trip.

Sistahritas just opened and I'm sooo glad they did! Black owned family business. They've been selling out everyday and I can see why. The food is amazing and the prices are very reasonable. I met a couple friends here, and we went at a good time. We were able to walk right up and order. The girl at the window was very pleasant and helpful. I wanted to order everything on the menu. We ordered Southern Fried Fish & Shrimp Poboy tacos, Phat Steak Tacos, Street Corn, and a Tostada. For my 2 tacos and corn I paid $12. Can't beat that price for a filling meal. The food came out pretty quickly and the portions were large. While enjoying our meals, the owner/cook came out to make sure everything was good and to our liking. I will definitely be back!

Food is top tier and no long wait! Staff is very friendly as well. Their Instagram is helpful when knowing the location.

Love the service of these black women owners!! Food was amazing. A twist of Tex mex here in Atlanta. It's near my community so I try and support when I can. Would love to see them in a brick and mortar soon!!

A regular for us because the food is delicious and given I live 1 house over! If you're in the area or even if you're not, this is some of the best food you can order! The street tacos are banging! Hard to order anything else when those are so good, BUT our kids love the quesadillas, we love the burrito, the specialty tacos (especially the fish and shrimp po boy) are amazing. Street corn is great. I haven't actually had a bad meal here. The very first time we had their nachos, the chips were just a little soggy but we have them that feedback and the next time we had them they tasted great! The customer service is great! It's family owned and friendly. The food can take a little while (10-15 mins) but that's because they're popular and they cook to order! In other words, it's worth the wait. If you've been debating whether to come here, debate no more! Make the trip, order some tacos, and be pleased with your decision. I'm disappointed I don't have pictures with how often I eat here, but maybe I'll just add a 2nd or follow up review.

I had some tacos from their food truck at an event. These were amazing tacos. I looked up the place just so I could find out where they are going next. I am still craving more of these tacos.

I ordered the Dirty Fries with shrimp and 2 street tacos (steak and shrimp). The tacos were good BUTTTT the Dirty Fries were amazing!! I usually don't get loaded fries but if they taste anything like these dirty fries... I will EVERYTIME!! Thanks ladies!!!

I got the fish taco and it was quite possibly the best fish taco I have ever had. Full of flavor and fresh fish and the sauce was so tasty!!!! You definitely want to try Sistahritas if you haven't yet!

If I was you I'd give it a try. I got 3 chicken tacos with guacamole ($0.50 extra). It was really good. My total with tip came to $10 which i think is a really good price. The service was really good and the food came out quickly. They also have some outdoor seating! I do wish my tortilla was a little hotter/warmed up. However I do really like that it's thin corn tortillas. Also they were out of rolled tacos and shrimp but I did come really close to closing time. Lastly, the ground is gravel so be careful depending on the type of vehicle/shoes you may have. Overall I would recommend. It's black owned and female owned !

If you go too fast or you're not paying attention. Youll past this little goodie. The food is amazing. Bussssinnnn. Packed with so much flavor. 10/10 recommend it. can't wait to go back. Did I mention they have good customer service and they were quick

Really enjoyed my first trip here as I've heard amazing things so far. They just opened within the last couple weeks so they are still figuring out their hours so I'd recommend calling first to make sure they are open. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. Like I ate every morsel lol I had the southern fried shrimp and fish po boy taco, absolutely delicious and filling. An overstuffed taco with cheese on the outside of the shell, so good. I also had a steak street taco and chicken Street taco which was also delicious. Really delicious salsa too. My meal was $9 for the 3 tacos so really decent prices as well. Very friendly staff, black family owned and we waited maybe 15-20 minutes for our food to be ready. I'll definitely be back. We went at the perfect time, 2pm, there was no long line or huge crowd and sat on the patio that is partially shaded so that was nice. 5 stars!

Hello Social Boo's if your ever in the Atlanta area you must try out Sistahritas.... You couldn't tell me I just didn't walk out of an authentic Mexican restaurant... Well I didn't I went an supported this black owned business and the food was delicious. Let me tell you about the service, it was great as I'm walking up I was instantly greeted the wait time less than 10 minutes and my food was ready .... I definitely will be coming back @Sistahritas

I hesitate to review this restaurant because I am afraid of people finding out about it. But I need to go ahead and do the right thing and be honest. The food exceeded expectations that were already high. Please never compromise your quality. If this quality stays like this, there is no limit on this company. Absolutely bonkers good. Best tacos ever She brought California to the peach state. These tacos will have your mouth watering & they're very filling.

Amazing food and super friendly staff. Portion sizes are large but guarantee you will eat it all, it is so good. Highly recommend the combos. I love the cheesy rice. Can't wait to come back and try the rest of the menu! - Number 82

I was really looking forward to eating here but once I arrived (after a 15 minute trip with these gas prices ), I saw that they were closed down. Their insta still reflects this address as well. Wondering if they moved to another location??

One of my favorites, the food is always fresh. The food taste amazing. If you want a good taco or quesadilla this is the place to go. If you get a chance go by and eat you will love it!!

This restaurant is a great edition to the east side the food is delicious and fresh!! When Cali met GA and they made tacos!! Nice switch up from the usual chicken wing, fried rice restaurant! The portions are what they mean by "getting your money worth" great portion size! I had the street shrimp taco with the cilantro cream sauce, po boy taco and cinnamon chips. YUM!! I look forward to patronizing this business frequently!

Best tacos I've had since leaving Cali. Wish I could go back but they closed a few minutes and I'll just have to get there first thing in the morning. The app Boy tacos were LIFE!!!!

I've been waiting for this place to open and they didn't disappoint! Finally found my go to Taco Tuesday (& every other day of the week) spot. Both the chicken & shrimp street tacos were delicious.
