"Eating at Sister is a bit like visiting your eccentric aunt’s house, if her house had upholstered circular booths, bookshelves stocked with curios, and a couple trees growing in the living room. The nice-but-still-casual setting works for just about anyone, so you can feel comfortable settling into a booth with a first date or a long-term partner. Ask those awkward first questions—or the same-old pleasant small talk—with whipped feta, seared branzino, and white-sauce bucatini amatriciana with a mild poblano kick. "As far as a special occasion date night, my husband and I love this place. We love the whole [Duro] restaurant group. The waiters are amazing, as are the cocktails and wine selection. Every item on the menu, I love how fresh and thoughtful it is. I eat a lot there, and we share plates, but we never leave feeling miserable from overeating. The Charles was our favorite for the longest time, and then Sister came along. It wins us over every time.
