"Sixth & Mill is a pizza place from the people behind The Factory Kitchen (a restaurant we really like) and Officine Brera (one we’re not really into). Unfortunately, we don’t love Sixth & Mill either. It’s in a converted warehouse in the Arts District next to Officine Brera that looks a lot like other converted warehouse restaurants you've probably eaten in. There’s a big menu of pizzas, pastas, and fried things, and there’s nothing technically wrong with the food here, but most of it is just boring. While gnocchi, tomatoes, and burrata are all things we like, they somehow lack flavor when combined here. The pizzas are fine, and have a decent crust, but that doesn’t really matter when the toppings are bland. There are plenty of interesting new pizza places in LA right now, so feel free to skip this one." - Jess Basser Sanders

Great pizza and appetizers. Great to see a great establishment in the outskirts of DTLA doing great things. Great appetizers here. The cocktails are pretty expensive in my book but the food price was on point. Downgrading score. Service is pretty whack!

NEW UPDATED REVIEW We still like this place for the pizzas but this time it wasn’t as good as an overall experience. It was Oct 25th 2019. We ordered some charcuterie and it came after the 4 pizzas we ordered and then we discovered the prosciutto was stale and the sides were so hard no one could chew them so spat them and just ate the pizza. Downgraded to 3 stars. OLD REVIEW We didn’t know what to expect when we got to this Italian Restaurant. Marc our waiter was such a professional and we made sure we left him a big tip. He explained every single thing to us and was very friendly and chill. He really took good care of us and was always around when we needed something so before the food. He was 5 stars and I would give this place 5 stars for having him before eating. Thanks. The manager was very friendly and he explained everything about their gluten free pizza and made sure that the person in the group that had celiac disease was comfortable. Eventually she said it was the best gluten free pizza crust she’s ever had. The pizza was amazing. Meatballs were fantastic. The 4 cheese with spicy sausage is insane. The dough is light yet holds very well and doesn’t have too much flap. Calzone lacked the right amount of cheese. The deserts were fantastic as well. Ricotta cake was sooo good. Great texture and not too sweet. I don’t think anyone would hate that one.

My girlfriend and I had such a great(albeit a bit gluttonous) meal. We split a Margarita pizza and opted for a spicy sausage topping (HIGHLY RECOMMEND). I had the Cacio e Pepe and she had the Pasta al Forno. Both pasta dishes were excellent - and the baked cheese topping of the Pasta al Forno was delicious. Definitely will be coming back here.

WOW! what a spectacular environment and atmosphere... They have really put some time and $$ into make it more than just about the food.... But the food is the star... It's not just wood fired 🔥 pizza 🍕.... But the salads & pastas free stand alone starts here...

People, you have to check this place out. If you're in or around the DTLA finance area, it is totally worth getting into your car and making the drive down here for lunch or dinner. Just outside of the arts district, food is incredible!

Went here on a whime with the family and was not disappointed. I totally recommend the red wine braised beef ravioli, butter, natural roasting jus .. so delicious just melts in your mouth 👄

First Time Eating Here, Took My Daughter Out To Eat. Nice Place, Comfortable Seating. Food Is Delicious We Got The Margarita Pizza, Pollpette, And Pasta Al Forno. My Daughter Liked The Food And If You Have Kids You Know How Hard It Can Be For Them To Eat. Would Recommended Specially If Going With A Group Of Friends.

The broth for the 15 or so mussels was exceptional. Light and packed with balanced flavors highlighted with garlic. Mussels were done perfectly - plump and tender. The potatoes, mentioned as part of this dish, turned out to be about 6 very tiny cubes scattered into a few of the shells. One slice of garlic toast was hardly enough to provide me with a way to get my fill of the broth. Dimitri was kind enough to get me 2 more at no charge. Ahhhhh. Discount and 50's music playing at a respectable volume and a bright airy decor. I would have given this place 5 stars if not for the lack of potatoes and garlic bread - and that one of the extra slices I had to ask for was stale.
