The 29 Best Restaurants In Lisbon - Lisbon - The Infatuation

"Skizzo is fire. Literally. Everything at this hotspot, from the people behind Da Noi, gets kissed by the wood-fired oven, from flatbreads to oysters and beetroot carpaccio, yet there are no firefighters in sight. Tucked into a quiet corner of Lapa, this place ticks all the boxes of “how to open a hip restaurant in 2025”: small plates, vinyl DJ sets, a grumpy bartender, natural wine, uncomfortable chairs, and reservations in a big black book. Start with the flatbread topped with arugula, pesto, and stracciatella, or the roasted peppers stacked with chimichurri and anchovies. The buttery-charred scallops are a must, as is the lobster à guilho with chilly butter that’ll make you question every dinner plan you’ve ever made." - rita geraldes

Snagged two spots at the bar last minute and had a great experience. The bartender (David I think?) gave us a great recs and the cocktails were awesome. Almost every plate was a hit, one thing I’d skip if I were to run it back would be the tuna w/ ricotta - otherwise everything was exceptional ! Highly recommend

Skizzo was an excellent choice for dinner! The atmosphere is very cool as you can watch the chefs cook your meal on the grill and brick oven before your food is plated, garnished, and brought to you. We started with cocktails: Negroni and Moscow. The Moscow had a creamy foam layer with an aromatic dried lime powder on top-- a really unique and delicious take on the traditional. The pesto flatbread was tasty and the dough was delicious and well cooked in the brick oven. The chicken skewers were also perfectly seared, juicy, and flavorful. The sun-dried tomato butter sauce with the entrecôte was perfection, so flavorful and rich I wanted to lick the plate clean. We loved the Parmesan potato side. The potatoes were very tender but with a crispy top, nestled in a delicious Parmesan cream sauce. The salad was dressed perfectly and an excellent compliment to the heavier dishes. Finally, dessert, the strawberry tart cherry crumble was incredible and a large portion to share. Service was very attentive and friendly!

Outstanding food and perfect service! We have chosen 4 small and 2 main dishes with 2 sides. It was a flavour explosion and an absolutely great experience. The recommended wine (Vinja Tejo Odé) was an additional highlight. We can highly recommend Skizzo if you stay in Lisboa.

Wonderful romantic place, with great food, friendly attentive service and house music playing in the background. We had the anchovies with grilled peppers, scallops, duck tartare, breaded cod some lovely orange wine.

What a great dinner we had! Definitely coming back and bringing friends. We didn’t have a reservation, but got seated at the bar. Both bartender and server were very attentive and provided good recommendations. We enjoyed all the dishes that we ordered and now want to try the whole menu!

Overall fantastic food (+quality) in a very relaxed atmosphere. Liked everything a lot, except that there was no airconditioner. Highly recommended.

i had an amazing experience at SKIZZO and felt it deserved a proper review. the service was truly impeccable, every single member of the staff was kind and genuinely interested in making our experience special. they were always ready to offer suggestions and explain the concept behind the dishes. we started with the shrimp starter, which was incredibly fresh, served with a delicious chilli and basil oil sauce. we ordered a warm focaccia to go with it, and it was the perfect match. then came the scallops, easily a 10 out of 10. the scallops were cooked to perfection, and the sauce was simply out of this world. we even had to order more focaccia just to soak up every bit of it. for us, it was definitely one of the best dishes of the night. we also tried the curry chicken, which was delicious. the curry had a slight kick to it, for someone not used to spice, it might feel a bit strong, but for us, it was just right. another surprising hit was the kale with white garlic and pistachio sauce. absolutely balanced, flavorful, and something we would order again without hesitation. for the main course, we ordered the squid with beans. honestly, it was the only dish we didn’t enjoy. the beans were very well seasoned and tasty, but the texture of the squid felt off. both elements ended up having a very similar texture, which made the dish a bit monotonous. we couldn’t finish it, and none of us really clicked with the combination. on the side, we ordered the potatoes with cheese, another highlight. perfectly cooked and full of flavor, definitely worth ordering again. for dessert, we had the brioche with dulce de leche, ice cream, and parmesan. it was a good dessert overall, but there was way too much parmesan on top. the large shavings overpowered the sweetness, making it a bit heavy. we ended up leaving most of the parmesan on the plate. if the balance between the dulce de leche and the parmesan was better, it would have been much more enjoyable. despite the small misses, SKIZZO is truly outstanding and extremely promising. it’s easily one of the best restaurants we’ve visited in lisbon, and we can’t wait to go back and explore more of their menu.

Had dinner here. Food was immaculate. Service was friendly and attentive. Ambiance just the right touch. Don't do the mistake I did, sharing dessert. I had the sour cherry crumble....my oh my...I regret sharing it. Don't. Just don't. Have for yourself. And cut anyone's hand off who tries to take a bit.
