Craft cocktails & panoramic city views from this chic rooftop lounge

"If you’re not a guest at downtown’s Glenn Hotel, then it’ll be $5 (cash only, yikes) to get up to the SkyLounge. And a low-key scene and good drinks will make it worth it. While Reverb may have better downtown views, this rooftop gives you a panoramic outlook that stretches from Centennial Park to the Mercedes-Benz Stadium. And if not for the Atlanta skyline, the chill Cali-esque vibe, hooded wicker chairs, and live music most nights could convince you you're chilling in some tropical resort rooftop. Easy listening acoustic sets combined with travel-weary hotel guests means we can relax up here—and order at the bar without someone elbowing us in the ribs. Light bites like the savory cheddar bacon and jalapeño dip are overshadowed by excellent cocktails (get the peachy Centennial) that make us forgive the ATM fee-inducing cover." - juli horsford

"SkyLounge sits atop the Glenn Hotel on Marietta Street and offers cocktails and light bites as well as clear views of Downtown landmarks like Centennial Olympic Park, the Westin Peachtree Plaza, the SkyView ferris wheel, and the horse-drawn carriages roaming the streets below." - Eater Staff

"As its name suggests, this elegant, modern restaurant with a decidedly international feel boasts stunning views of the city (especially impressive at sunset) thanks to its location on the eighth floor of the Hilton hotel. The chefs here create a varied menu that combines elements of Mediterranean cuisine with Asian influences, with a whole page dedicated to different types of sushi. They have also added lobster from the North Sea and king crabs to the menu, which can be chosen directly from the fish tank. In addition to the wine list, you’ll also find a good selection of other drinks on offer. The lounge-style ambience adds to the enjoyable experience, creating a warm atmosphere in which guests can enjoy contemporary cuisine together with unforgettable views of Belgrade." - Michelin Inspector

"Perched atop the Glenn Hotel, SkyLounge offers what I think is the best view of the city with unhindered panoramic vistas—especially of historic Centennial Olympic Park—and serves craft cocktails and small plates across an indoor lounge and outdoor viewing areas; I recommend calling ahead for a reservation since the small rooftop books out on busy weekends." - Tori Allen
