"The 50/50 in their name is a reference to a half-beef-half-bacon burger, and it must be good, because Slater’s now has locations in four states. The Pasadena spot is filled with TVs and arcade games, making it a solid spot to watch your team. There’s also a very involved build-your-own-burger menu that’s more entertaining than the Miami Dolphins." - Kat Hong, James Montgomery

"Local chain Slater’s 50/50 made its bones by creating a burger with 50 percent beef, and 50 percent bacon. So it came as a surprise when this meat-loving restaurant added two Impossible Meat options to the menu. The OG Impossible Burger uses a brioche bun and chipotle mayonnaise with a single patty, pepper jack cheese, avocado, and a sunny-side up egg. The Impossible Meatball slider is Slider’s vegetarian tribute to an Italian sub, with a garlicky marinara sauce, burrata cheese, and basil pesto on a toasted brioche." - Mona Holmes

Great, but not quite spectacular, Slater’s 50/50 is bar food at its finest. The burgers are cooked just right, the fries are great (Bacon Ketchup, anybody?) and their milkshakes are to die for. The service was a little slow today, but to be fair, we went outside of what a normal lunch or dinner rush would be. The Happy Hour pricing definitely made up for that! The portions, especially given the Happy Hour price were GENEROUS, and it gave us an opportunity to try a bunch of things at once, without breaking the bank. Slater’s had a really great selection of beers, and a full bar to choose from. None of the Happy Hour special cocktails seemed to hit right for me, but to be fair, I was ordering things that seemed out-of-the ordinary, for the sake of trying new things. Maybe trying to teach an old dog new tricks just didn’t work. I would definitely return.

The 5 stars is just for the waitress, Hailey! She is so sweet and friendly, she knows the menu and has great recommendations, made the dining experience so wonderful. The Thai wings were amazing, the mai Thai drink was the best as well. Happy hour ends at 6 fyi, I was 16 minutes too late so take it from me. You’ll have a great time here, it’s better with a big group !!!

The atmosphere of this place is like an arcade room combine with a sport bar. It is pretty cool. With the amount of the noise, lights and TV. This place is oddly relaxing and greatly enjoyable with friends and family. The service and staff is very on-point. They did a great job of making one feel welcome. The food was great. We had a platter of onion rings and tater tots hot off the fryer. The burgers we order we're great as well. I love my craft beer. It taste just like peanut butter. My friends wasn't bad as well. It is a great place to enjoy some American comfort food.

If I could give this place more stars I would! Most definitely one of my favorite places to go eat. Have come here several times, and always have a great experience. The food is amazing, the staff is great, and the place is fun and has great music as well as sports going all the time. Will definitely be back and soon. Have to try the Merica burger before it leaves the menu lol

Let’s start with the reason I came here, their burgers. It was worth the cost. The burger was on point with great flavor. You must have their fried bacon mac & cheese ball. They come 6 to the order but so good. Also their Slater’s Vampire was so delicious and another must have. The staff was friendly, always checking in on us to make sure we had what we needed. Great customer service.

You can enjoy gorgeous hamburgers here. I think they are not reasonable, a little bit expensive as hamburgers. But it's worth the price. The staff are very kind and friendly.

Service was top notch. A very wide menu, Tacos was recommended by the server and she was right on. I did enjoy the fried one more than the grilled one. Atmosphere was great and made you want to stay longer. Picture is not the greatest,it doesn't really show anything spectacular. But the food was good.

Loved the burger and fries, and the customization options were great, adding chips and peanut butter to my burger were crazy tasty. Only reason it lost a star is because i was really looking forward to trying the sweet bacon popcorn and when I got there at 5:30PM they were all out and not making any more. Was bummed but overall loved the location and the food I did have!
