We arrived around 1230pm and the shop was empty. There is an entire wall of ramen from top to bottom with many brands to choose from whether you like it soup or dry and spicy or not. I think there are way more spicy noodles than non-spicy.
You choose your ramen, toppings, and pay. Then head to the cooking station and cook your ramen. We were told to press 1 to cook our soup ramen. Water is then added and takes 4 minutes to cook it. The
We got 3 ramen and 1 tteokbokki. I believe the gentleman who helped my husband with making the tteokbokki may be the owner or store manager, but he overcooked the tteokbokki. I was not aware until my son offered me the last 2 pieces, which tasted hard and chewey. My 8yo chose a non-spicy cheese ramen, and to my surprise, it was very good. My husband and I each chose a spicy noodle and added in extra add-ons for additional costs : dumplings, rice cakes, and a boiled egg w/ kimchi. Their kimchi is actually pretty good!
By the ramen cooking station, there are complimentary toppings in small containers for you to add to your ramen. They are onions, green onions, serrano peppers, and lime.
There is a fridge full of juice and coffee bags with ice cups available for you to enjoy. They also have a healthy drink menu of smoothies, shakes, and juices to order from.
The price is decent and, on average, about $10-$12 per bowl with 2-3 add-on toppings. My 11yo wanted to experience this, and so we went! It was a good experience but not something we would do all the time.
