Vibrant, trendy, fast food chain outlet offering hefty, plant-based burgers to take away.
"The famous Atlanta-born burger chain started as a ghost kitchen, then a food truck, which had hours-long waits. Now they’re in multiple locations across the U.S. and offer an expanded menu that includes plant-based hot dogs, shrimp, and chicken sandwiches. But Slutty Vegan’s Impossible burger, dripping in Thousand Island-ish sauce, oozy cheese, and caramelized onions, is the always-clutch indulgence we seek when quinoa patties won’t do. The Edgewood location stays open until 1am on weekends so hard-partying vegans can survive on more than bar nuts." - nina reeder, demarco williams, juli horsford
"This plant-based burger chain’s vegan cheese-drenched takeover seemed to have happened all of a sudden, extending to new locations in New York and Alabama. While we’re thrilled we have several new ways to pull up for some Sloppy Toppy (it’s the name of the burger, chill), Atlantans still fondly reminisce on those three-hour waits outside the Slutty Vegan food truck in 2018. And since owner Pinky Cole is a Clark Atlanta alum, the city treats her like a hometown hero. Hit any of the five metro restaurants, but we like the always-jumping Edgewood spot, where we can order any one of the signature burgers on big fluffy sweet buns then take pictures in front of Pinky’s mural just across the street. "If the name Slutty Vegan is brand new to you, then you’ve either been living under a rock or certainly living out of the states. The plant-based burger chain started as a humble food truck, which continuously amassed hour-long waits and crowds of curious vegans and meat-eaters looking to get a taste of what all the fuss was about. Now with several locations and an expanded menu that includes plant-based hot dogs, faux shrimp, and vegan chicken sandwiches, you should get served a little Sloppy Toppy while here (chill, that's the name of the burger). The Edgewood location stays open until 1am on weekends, so partying vegans out on demon time have somewhere else in the city to turn to for a late night meal." - Nina Reeder, Juli Horsford, Demarco Williams

The plant-based burger chain started as a humble food truck, which continuously amassed hours-long waits and crowds of curious vegans and meat eaters looking to get a taste of what all the fuss was about. Now with more than 10 locations across the U.S. and an expanded menu that includes plant-based hot dogs, faux shrimp, and vegan chicken sandwiches, it’s almost a sin to hit the metro area and not get served a little Sloppy Toppy, or as the restaurant affectionately phrases, get “sluttified.” The Edgewood location stays open until 1am on weekends, so partying vegans out at demon time have somewhere else in the city to turn to for a late night meal." - Nina Reeder
"A third location of the popular vegan burger restaurant, opening by early next year." - Eater Staff
