Smokehouse Review - Islington - London - The Infatuation

"Nothing, absolutely nothing, is cosier than an open fire. This is the exact thought we have every single time we make the great decision to go to Smokehouse on a chilly evening and feel like we’ve escaped to one of the home counties, complete with roaring fires and a blackboard listing the best cuts of meat on offer. The setting matches the food perfectly–big slabs of pork chop with smoked apple and black pudding, simple no-brainer sides, and comforting British classics for dessert. It’s also worth knowing that despite being a destination for meat lovers everywhere, they do have some great vegetarian options. Come here for a pub dinner with a difference. Come here for a date night when you’re toying with the idea of moving to Hampshire. Or come here every single Sunday for one of the best roasts in town. You’ll love it." - Heidi Lauth Beasley

Best BBQ in New Hampshire hands down! Staff is great. Food is great. Highly recommend checking out. They have Taco Tuesday for tacos a 2 dollars. Wing Wednesday for wings for a dollar. Schnitzel Thursday for 6.99. located right off 101 in Amherst

Google
Quaint little spot with a lot to offer. I got the brisket 50/50, pulled chicken, baked beans, hushpuppies, and cornbread. All for 25$. This is what you might expect anywhere in the Carolinas or Texas, but certainly not NH. Our party also got an order of burnt ends, chicken wings, and coleslaw. All delicious. To the point where I was full and still stuffing my face. I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm in town. Best hushpuppies I've ever had hands down. It's obvious the staff takes pride in what they do, and they do it well.

We came on the Saturday before Fathers' day so we didn't have to deal with long wait periods due to his disability. Food was fantastic! Loved being able to experiment with all the different sauces. But tasting the BBQ without sauce first was amazing. That's how BBQ should taste! Priced just right! And the staff...oh my gosh they were so nice! Great dining experience!

Google
This was our first time here and sure glad we made the stop. The atmosphere when you walk in is cozy and service was great. I had a pulled pork sandwich with a side of coleslaw. The coleslaw was a little too sweet from my taste, but was still good. The sandwich was amazing. The pulled pork was piled high and so good. There are several different side sauces at the table and all are yummy. If you are in the area, it is well worth the stop.

Google
Fast service- delicious pulled pork and fresh cut fries. Slaw was a little too watery for my liking but not worth losing any stars over. Something to note is the inside seating is pretty limited. But incredible food!

Google
We walked in and we were immediately met by the most appetizing aroma. Service was fast, great atmosphere and the food was delicious. I love how bare bones the meat was, cooked to perfection but you can mix and match from their own home made sauces which were great as well. Interesting options for beer, and honestly the sides were incredible. Best corn chowder, collared greens and corn bread. My one complaint was that the meat was definitely much colder than the sides but still very very good

Google
Very tasty pulled pork sandwich Will definitely go back Have gone back a couple more times. The wings are so tasty….The raspberry chipotle are incredible!!!

Google
Best ribs we've ever had, hands down! We tried all the sauces they make, and they are all incredibly flavorful! The baked beans were a bit too sweet, but oh my, so delicious! And the mac and cheese was so creamy and rich, the kids asked for seconds! We'll be back for sure!!!

Yelp
Stopped here on my way home from Keene and was glad I did! As someone who enjoys making their barbecue at home I don't always go out for it. But the food was great, the service was fast and friendly, and the ambiance was fun, a little smaller but this is exactly what I expect when I think of a barbecue spot in this area! I have no complaints and will defiantly swing in next time I am in the area!

Yelp
Over-the-counter operation with a few tables and a decent beer selection. Burnt Ends (special): Cubes, sauced, could still sample ring peeking through. Noticeable smoke ring, very tender, though more of a stewing-in-the-sauce tender. Enjoyable enough. Hog Wings: Pork but pretty much chicken breast texture if it were somewhat more tender and juicy. Good size. Ribs: Menu says babybacks, but these were spares (not that there's anything wrong with that). Rub felt and tasted like Shake and Bake. Definitely fresh, moderately moist to juicy, but very stiff. Brisket: Cut in really small pieces, some very pale. Taste was better than it looked. Felt fresh, again moderately moist to juicy, but nothing remarkable. Very faint flavor. Fries A: Hand-cut, fresh, potatoey. Best part of the meal; only the proliferation of small pieces kept them from a straight A. Coleslaw: Creamy to a fault. Imagine mixing three parts Market Basket coleslaw (which is already too mayoey) with one part vanilla yogurt. Collard Greens: Very soft, kind of watery, yet decent enough flavor with some tartness and heat.

Yelp
We have been wanting to visit this restaurant for quite awhile now and today we finally got a chance. We really liked that the sauce was on the tables and that they had so many different ones to choose from. We thought the prices here were very reasonable and the guy atvthe counter was extremely patient and helpful, answering all of our questions. Between us we ordered pulled pork, ribs, chicken and sides of beans and Cole slaw and cornbread as well as hand cut fries. We sat at a table in the middle of the restaurant. It's a fairly small dining room with a casual and cozy feel. The portions were big and the saices great! The ribs were great on their own, no sauce needed. The rest of the meats were good, too. We still have a favorite place but this is definitely one of the best BBQ restaurants around!

Yelp
I'm never going to Mac's ever again. Best brisket I've ever had. Everything was great!

Yelp
Had BBQ here it was really good. We enjoyed the wings and brisket the macaroni and baked beans were good. This would be fun with the warmer weather. Thanks guys!

Yelp
Stoked to find smoked meats. We ordered the 3 meat + 2 sides Pulled pork and 2 brisket portions (both lean and moist). Very tasty Mac n cheese solid collard greens. good, some heat. Cornbread. Really good! Need more than 1. Tempted to get the brisket chili, but I was too full. Sad Sauces were good Bathroom was clean Customer service was lacking, but I hear that's the normal in NH. Lol

Yelp
Stopped here for a weekday lunch. Small bbq place on the side of the road, and it was packed. We ordered the three meat platter with brisket, pulled pork and pulled chicken, and it comes with two sides, so we got baked beans and Mac n cheese. Absolutely fantastic! Two of us shared the platter, and it was still too much food. This is a dry bbq, not a saucy one. But the meat is tender and flavorful with just the right amount of smoke. The pork was my favorite. Well, actually, maybe the baked beans are my favorite - lots of pulled pork in them along with that sweet molasses. I'd have been happy if that was all I ate! Highly recommend, but it's so popular, be prepared that you might have to take it to go.

Yelp
Traveling home from the holidays we were starving when we stumbled across the smokehaus. The food came out so fast. The chef started working on our sandwiches before our orders were even in the machine. Once we got our food all you could hear at our table was "mmmmm's". It was all delicious! Will definitely plan on stopping by next time we are passing through.

Yelp
Great pulled pork sandwich and brisket Mac n cheese. Lots of parking. Seating for about 18. Prices are pretty good.

Yelp
Absolutely loved the 1/2 rack of ribs with mac and cheese with baked beans. The food was awesome and portions were good.

Yelp
Our first time at the Smoke Haus was phenomenal! Delicious BBQ, really friendly staff, and great atmosphere. We had a brisket sandwich and a 2 meet platter. This place did not disappoint and we will be back!

Yelp
I relocated to NH recently, and my wife and I are from the South and want to find good barbecue. I saw a lot of supportive comments for Smokehaus on Facebook and on this site, and drove an hour after work last night (Friday at 5) to pick up brisket and ribs and bring home. First of all, it's a cute place - it feels like a barbecue place and a place that I'd like to stop by driving around on a Saturday afternoon for a bite and beer. I felt service should have been faster for my order as it wasn't that busy...30 minutes to cut food that's been in the smoker all day. The sides were decent...tried the beans, hush puppies, collard greens and Mac. The biggest disappointment was the meat - ordered a full rack of ribs and half pound of lean brisket. It was overcooked...way overcooked. My wife pushed the ribs away after having two and commented that they were "drier than a popcorn fart". They've got great sauces, but sauce can't regenerate a mummy. My recommendation to the owners is to take them out of the smoker earlier, and do whatever can be done to keep moisture in the meat.

Yelp
Four of us had a fantastic meal here yesterday. The ribs, brisket, and pulled chick were each tender, moist, and delicious. The sauces are distinctive and varied. We all agreed the coleslaw was some of the best we've ever tasted. Fries were crispy, tasty, and not oily. The portions were decent. For such a small place, there is a good beer selection on tap. Service was prompt and friendly. The interior is small, simple, and clean.

Yelp
Got a take out order and was charged $7 in fees that showed up on my credit card but were not disclosed at the time of purchase. Also the food was not great, especially for the hefty price. Won't be going back.

Yelp
Wow! Wow! Wow! I was so impressed by this place. My family and I got a 3 meat plate, along with 2 additional sides and children's tenders. Everything was incredible. Hot, fresh and surprisingly fast despite the afternoon crowd for lunch! The Lil Spicy sauce was my favorite sauce hands down but every sauce was delicious. The staff members were awesome as well. Helpful, knowledgeable and genuinely polite. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
Been back here a few times and I finally got their ribs. I just gotta say that they changed up their game quite a bit and I'm comfortable saying they do an amazing job. Still asking customers what type of brisket they want is awesome. Yes I still think people should get a mix but hey sometimes you don't want the fat. They even have a cute sign at the counter now that is something like "Fat is delicious" or something. The Ribs are Awesome! Great savory sweet rub. Excellent texture and Smokey flavored pork. And this is the only place I've ever seen do a semi pre-cut on the ribs. More often than not you just get the rack as is and you have to cut the ribs yourself. I still prefer fully pre-cut ribs but something tells me there's a science behind this half pre-cut stuff. Smoked chicken was cooked perfectly, Nice and tender and juicy. Smoky chicken rub was great on the skin and the skin wasn't overly crispy either. The sauces were amazing too. When I first reviewed them I said that their gold sauce was straight up mustard, And I do remember that it was I wasn't making that up. But now it's a real nice mix of that honey and mustard and brown sugar taste. Obviously home made too. And they have what sure as hell looks and tastes like an Alabama white but for some reason they call it " Chicken paste" .... Idk, but it was delicious. And I couldn't make it out on the label or find it anywhere online but I think they have one called lightning. Sort of urban style one may be a little more mild, Still really good though. The brisket beans there are really really good too. Sort of mild chili powder flavor to them but still relatively sweet. The mac & cheese I still have issues with because it's still just pasta with some cheese goop. But hey, Lots of other side options to choose from and they are putting in a lot of work to make them all. Okay... these "Usta" fries are going to be the death of me. Cheese sauce, Thousand island, beef broth caramelized onions and bacon bits all over fresh made French fries .... Dear lord! I think I'll skip the bits next time though, I don't really like the toughness of them. Excellent BBQ

Yelp
So, I was in NH for a month and this was right up the street from where I was housesitting. So good I went back twice!! Their "Justa/Usta"(sp) fries are insanely delicious and yeah, I ate them as a meal :) Their pulled pork sandwiches are so tender. Loved the sauce options - - really liked the mustard-y tasting one, had some good zing going on! Wish I'd have known about the Fried Bread pudding . . will definitely give that a go next time I'm in the area. Well worth the drive
google avatar

Cathryne H.

Yelp
The pulled pork sandwiches are awesome! The meat was so tender! Definitely will be going again.
google avatar

Yelp
Pulled pork was excellent. Brisket medium. Collard greens outstanding. They only have burnt ends sporadically. Not fancy (it's a bbq place, shouldn't be fancy). A bit cold inside (please turn off the ceiling fans). I'd give it another half star if I could.

Frank D.

Yelp
I've eaten here twice & the last month. The meats are good as are the sides. Good draft beer selection as well. Staff is accommodating & friendly. Only complaint would be the sauce containers which were kind of grubby & off putting when you are eating with your hands and have to grab one of them!

Yelp
Deep South born and raised critique. It wasn't bad but it also was not even close to being authentic in anyway, for this Deep South girl. We had the pork which was all that was left on Sat 4/25/2020 I would not eat here again due to the lack of technical skill in the meat, sides and sauce. The sauce is very thin and more like a watery dressing nothing like a traditional BBQ sauce. We tried the sweet and spicy. Eh. The spicy rates strongly of cayenne or chili powder. The viscosity was eh. There wasn't a complex flavor profile. Same for the sweet. The smoked pork I enjoy is one that has a signature ratio of wood to create a taste that lends to a delicious flavor that is so good-sauce would not even be needed. This meat was bland and wasn't good enough to enjoy without sauce. But the sauce wasn't formulated well enough to boost that flavor of the meat. The collard greens were vegetarian they were tasty for not being made accurately to Deep South standards. If people are going to a smokehouse, there is no expectation for vegetarian options. This dish has to be made with drippings or don't bother. To counter the lack of flavor, heat (red pepper) was added to the greens to make up for the lack of bacon drippings and pork morsels. It was tasty but be advised it will be spicy in a good way but that is NOT how greens are to be presented. The al dente texture was perfect at least. A very funny thing- they serve the BBQ with a slice of sourdough. People that bread will never be seen in any BBQ place south of the Mason Dixon. Chef-you throw on a slice of Texas Toast or a slice of white sandwich bread is all we use most of the time. If I want my pork on a slice of bread-it cannot fold perfectly like white sandwich bread allows for. Sourdough is not acceptable, corn bread as a sub-YES. On the flip side, the hush puppies were on point. An advantage to the greens was that there was about 2/3 liquid left after I ate my greens. This is called pot liquor and you can dunk your puppies in them. But puppies don't go with BBQ-they go with fried fish fry dinners Anyways, the creamed corn is nothing like it is made down South. It is a thick texture like oatmeal. This place served corn chowder as "creamed corn". It was canned kernel corn in heavy cream. Cream corn is corn that has been creamed meaning puréed. If it were me, I would post photos on the web site. Remember folks the 5 star is by Northerners ranking it-doesn't equal a qualifier southerner reviewing it. I gave it a 3 because it was terrible but it also wasn't terrible. It was edible. My advice to the owner-serve the sides that actually go with BBQ. Don't just willy nilly pick sides that you can make. This is a whole wrap around experience. Think about that as you plan your menu. Start with not adding sourdough bread to the meals.

Robert G.

Yelp
Ate lunch today March 27th 2024. Ordered the brisket plate with two sides. Brisket was warm, dry and had to be old. Reheated many times. Service was good and friendly. Food was gross, especially for a $25 plate of brisket. Fries cold.

Emma F.

Yelp
We live locally and have been trying to eat at this place for ages. 90% of the time we try to go it's closed. We drive by often and it's almost always closed but worse than that I've walked in the door three times now thinking it was open and we'd finally be able to try it and walked out. First time I went in in 2021 it was 6pm the flag was out and when I went inside the staff informed me they were closed. The second time I crossed the door it was noontime and they said the food wasn't warm yet. Today we went and they told us they were sold out of pulled pork and since my sweetie has a weakness for pulled pork and that's why we went we left. (Pulled pork is pretty much 50% of the menu) I know restaurants are getting hit hard after Covid with labor shortages and I hate leaving negative reviews, but I would try another business model because it shouldn't be this difficult to go to your establishment. You will go out of business if you don't make a change.

Yelp
Stopped by there today for Lunch, 3-23-24, Disappointed with the food. I ordered Brisket and Pulled Pork, Hush Puppies and Beans. The Best part was the Beans. Brisket, bland, not much flavor, almost too tough. Pulled Pork, warm and also bland. I was looking to try other Barbecue Places, now I know that this Place for me is One and Done. The place was clean and well staffed, the Food just Sucks. Back to my Go To KC's.

Christine B.

Yelp
Was not impressed. March at 1 pm. Only lean brisket and tiny ribs still had skin on the back. Mac n cheese was warm at best. Beans were tasty. Would not recommend if your not from around here go to kc ribshack. This is not a pit master. If it was good a few years ago it's not now.

Victor P.

Yelp
Maybe it was just a bad day... Decided to go to this BBQ place in Amherst, and was really looking forward to it as it has been good in the past. Sadly today was very disappointing. One of the orders was incorrect, with the wrong type of meat. The brisket chili was soupy and some pieces were chewy and others fatty. Just not very tasty. The ribs, pulled pork and brisket all lacked flavor, including smoke! Chicken was the best of the meats that we ordered. It's really a shame. The place was really busy but maybe that's the reason the quality of bbq has declined. That said, I will try them again, hoping today was just a bad day.

Yelp
Food is consistently delicious LOVE their brisket. Owner takes pride in what he serves. Highly recommend

Yelp
As I have come to realize in the north east, good BBQ is hard to come by. Sure, you can smoke some meat and slap some sauce on it, but the true essence of BBQ is getting everything just right, no matter the meat. Smokehaus, in my humble opinion, is the best BBQ you can get in New England, let alone New Hampshire. The meats have always been spot on. Everything is juicy, smoked just right, and with a portion that gets you your money worth. Each member of the staff knows their stuff; even the little things like offering fatty or non fatty brisket goes to show an attention to detail and quality you'd miss at other locations. Their sides are always pleasant and perfectly portioned to leave you full when you've finished. The sauces here are varied, delicious, and when they try to represent the various regional sauces of the south, they get it right. None of that "Memphis" sauce or "true texas" selling point stuff here folks, only the real deal. Unfortunately for everyone else serving BBQ around New England they'll have to compare to Smokehaus and I readily await anyone else who can go toe to toe with this food.

Keith S.

Yelp
Authentic BBQ. Highly recommend this establishment if you know and miss southern BBQ.

Yelp
We go by the Dublin location frequently and we saw the "Opening Soon" sign and decided to give it a try next time thru. Yesterday we stopped and we're glad we did. The restaurant itself is very nice. Not too upscale, just very comfortable and nicely appointed. The young lady who took our order was very patient since we weren't familiar with the menu. I ended up ordering the 2 meat combo with brisket and pulled chicken, with cole slaw and mac and cheese. The brisket was tender and flavorful and the pulled chicken was very good as well. Cole slaw and mac and cheese was VERY good. Could have made a meal out of the mac and cheese all by itself. The SO had a pulled pork sandwich and cole slaw and she said they were also great. I just found out they have a Amherst location as well so we'll try that one next. Highly recommended. Go there. You won't be sorry.

Yelp
Fantastic food! I drive an hour to visit once a month for lunch and to take some home. Cole Slaw is out of this world! Great brisket, pulled pork and chicken. Nice people. Highly recommend!

Yelp
Really great, I'd always wanted to go as I live in Amherst and love bbq. I ordered a wide variety that included ribs, hog wings, wings, smoked pulled chicken and pork, Mac n chz, coleslaw, beans, and cornbread. The pulled pork and chicken were excellent, very moist. The hog wings were awesome, crispy and succulent but very mild tasting without sauce. The wings were also really good but could've used seasoning. The ribs were ok but they were definitely more of a "chew" off the bone than "fall" off the bone and I prefer the latter. The sides were all really good, I'd order them all again and be happy. I got their sweet sauce and I think what they call lightning sauce, both were excellent. Overall I chose 4 stars instead of 5 due to a lack of seasoning/rub (you'll really need sauce) and they were out of brisket and several other items (I got the last few ribs, it was 430pm on a Sunday, so maybe they were winding down.) But I'll be back and would/have recommended it.

Yelp
I went to their new place in Dublin. New Hampshire. Food was incredible. Service was great. I would highly recommend people to go there. Thank you so much for a great experience.

Yelp
As a Texan there are few places I've found in NH that compare to what I am used to calling "good BBQ" but I heard this place was good and it did not disappoint. I had a brisket sandwich with a mix of lean and fatty/moist meat and a side of fries and Mac n cheese. My husband had the same but the cream corn and my friend got ribs and hush puppies. Everyone was thrilled with their meals. I thought the brisket was flavorful and moist and I enjoyed the BBQ sauce options. My friend said the ribs were some of the best she'd ever had and enjoyed the sweet flavor or the rub. My husband also loved his brisket and especially liked the cream corn- which I tasted and really liked as well. The venue itself is small but the decor is well done and provides a comfortable rustic feel. The service was fast, friendly, and gracious. I enjoyed the vibe, the yummy smell, and the food and will most definitely be back to try something else!
google avatar

Yelp
Wow a hidden gem!!! We drove by this little place and out of curiosity turned around to try it. The ribs were tender juicy and so flavorful finger licking good. I gave it four stars instead of five because I do think that the way that it is organized to order is not that great, there are some tables in the middle and the line wraps around the people sitting down enjoying their meal. Just a small detail that will definitely not deter me from enjoying their delicious food.

Yelp
Good BBQ they sell out often. I judge a BBQ place by the sides they serve first the only thing they are lacking is a good ol smashed potato. Love their beans although ther has been way to many onions one time cole slaw is top notch my kid enjoys the Mac and cheese. Fries are the crispy hand hit kind A+ I haven't tried everything on the menu yet I drive by ( at least I'll try to Drive by) haha. It not easy i usually just get the brisket for meat and it's perfect if you get it earlier in the day. If you love authentic BBQ I think this is your place nice owner good staff. Nice deck outside to tear up some ribs

Tim I.

Yelp
First timer. this place is phenomenal, the meat is moist flavorful it has the perfect amount of smoke flavor. the sauce options are really well laid out and labeled, my personal favorite was the tangy sauce I had the three meat plate with pulled chicken, brisket and pulled pork the portions were larger than expected. i chose the beans and hush puppies for my sides both were very good. there is a large amount of pulled pork in the beans that added a nice flavor to them. when leaving I had to buy a half rack of ribs as that was the only thing I did not have. This is definitely a need to stop bbq joint. 10/10

Michelle H.

Yelp
We hadn't eaten here in over a year. I was happily surprised by the improvements. The sides were all excellent; best collard greens we've ever had and the creamed corn was delicious. Ribs and pulled pork were fabulous. So many tasty sauces to choose from. You should give them a try! It was worth our hour drive!

Dino S.

Yelp
They're ok. Not the best BBQ but not that bad either. Watch them tho cuz aren't super generous with the sizes and when you ask for fatty and lean, you won't get much fatty- mainly lean. They could be friendlier also. Overall not bad, but not phenomenal.

Yelp
Not sure where to start..I pulled into Smokehaus while heading back east on 101 for. Quick bite to eat, and grabbed their Brisket Sandwich with the Maple Bourbon sauce on the side and Hush Puppies. The brisket was cooked very nicely but lacked a lot of flavor. The bark was tasty and held lots of flavor unfortunately that's where the flavor ended. I gave it a try with the maple sauce to see how they paired. Yeah "No Bueno"..the sauce is confusing for me..not thick enough to be a bbq sauce and has a taste of beer and chili pepper flavor not what I was expecting from a "maple bourbon" sauce. Lastly the hush puppies..I gave two a try and yeah not a fan. I found them to be dry and not sure what that was I found in one of them. Maybe a onion? either way I came up with 2 as my review.

Yelp
Less than a week later, I decided to go a little after they just opened. The parking lot and restaurant was PACKED! But these guys are professionals, and just quickly AND accurately took everyone's order. Finally got the Dino Beef Short Rib and it was better than I remembered! As I told other diners, the short rib is HUGE, fall of the bone filled with tender, juicy fat! You can also opt for fries on the side for an additional fee. I barely finished it and have to say that this is one of those EASY 5 Star reviews!

Yelp
This is my go to place for brisket in southern NH. They also have something here that i can't find anywhere else: Hog Wings. Get them dusted. You won't regret it. Sides are above average, the standout for me is the Mac and cheese. Good selection of beers on tap. Pairs wonderfully with the food.

Yelp
To start with, I love another bbq place in NH and will periodically drive 40+ minutes to get their food. I watched this place open and drove by it way too many times before I had time to stop in. I am glad that I finally did! Now I can get a bbq fix without a 1/4 tank of gas. I had the brisket sandwich and 2 sides. Nice moist lean meat, generous portions, on a lightly toasted brioche bun. For sides I chose the hush puppies; an excellent job on those, not too dry and a good sub for your cornbread fix. The coleslaw reminds me of a cross between Popeye's and KFC, a little bit of chopped pickle or maybe pickle relish + a little on the sweet and wet side. They automatically will serve you a nice crisp pickle spear on the side that's a mild-ish dill. They offer housemade sauces and (recycled) paper towels on every table (plus salt & pepper). I tried the Bourbon and the Lil Spicy and both were quite good! I think the spicy may be a bit more than "lil" to some folks, so try a dab before you slather it on. They also offer a Chicken Paste, House Sweet, and Haus Gold (mustard based). Cooler drinks and draft beers are the libations! I had an iced tea. The counter staff was very upbeat and friendly. The prices were very reasonable for BBQ. I paid $14.48 for my meal with beverage. I honestly could have split it with someone I didn't get to try the bread pudding, too full haha. They had a couple of specials on the board; today listed a poutine that sounded amazing with maple bacon, but I couldn't handle that by myself. I will just have to drag some friends along next time. You can sit inside or out, plus there is a short bar counter also. Plastic utensils are conveniently right by the register and aren't the flimsy ones! They do keep it pretty clean at the tables. While I sat outside someone came and checked all the tables for sauces and a wipe down where needed. Looked clean inside as well. So kudos to Smokehaus giving me a new go-to!

Yelp
This is an easy review. These people do things right. Meat quality has always been good. Sides are tasty. Beer is cold. Good variety of hot sauces for those who crave more acidity or spice. I have stopped here many times (whenever I can create an excuse to do so) - never disappoints. 4 stars because it is a road stop. 5 for satisfaction.

Yelp
Extremely disappointed. I assume I received the last of the last scraps of brisket as they posted it as all gone on the board after I completed my order. Also marked as all gone was chicken, chicken wings, and pork. I am dumbfounded how on a Friday night a business could be out of meat before dinner is even served. I will let the attached photo do the rest of the talking. $13.00 for this. I am deeply bothered and will revisit when I am no longer as heated as I am (I guess at least something was heated tonight cause my meat was cold)

Yelp
Wanted some Buffalo Wings but they said they sold out around lunchtime so got some brisket and brisket chili, my wife got the pulled pork platter with 2 sides. Brisket was great, tender and juicy, chili was fantastic with nice chunks of brisket in it. My wife said the pulled pork was pretty good and she got coleslaw and Mac & cheese for sides with cornbread too. I'll have to go earlier next time to try out the wings as they sounded very tempting

Yelp
Amazing food. I must be on my 100th order of the fatty brisket plate. Get that with the fries and bakes beans and you're eating like a king. A+ food thanks from a local neighbor!

Yelp
Fantastic! Great food. Super friendly staff. Always consistent! Best BBQ I've had outside of Stubbs in Austin, TX.

Yelp
Fantastic BBQ, great atmosphere! We stopped by here on a Saturday afternoon and there was a really talented musician jamming in the corner that reay made it. We loved the fatty brisket and the beer selections was awesome... not your typical assortment of 15 IPAs :) Highly recommend!
