Beautiful first impression from quality in every single dish to the amount of love put into every bite. The intentive and welcoming staff and ultra comfortable atmosphere put this place at the top 5 on my list. Ribs fall off the bone, seasoned to perfection and sauce selections are beautifully balanced. The beef brisket stole my heart in all the right ways! It melts in your mouth like butter it was the BEST brisket I ever had! The mac & cheese was coated perfectly with a delicious cheese sauce and the collard green hit hard in the best way possible. The time put into properly preparing them made them not bitter at all and mixed evenly with bacon i couldn't get enough tbh. And just when you think it can't get any better their version of corn bread takes the CAKE! Warm buttery with the right amount of honey. Our whole meal was pure PERFECTION!! Definitely a MUST TRY! And if you dont...I feel bad for you. We can't wait to come back for more! Money well spent & fully stocked bar!! GO GET IT!! 😋❤️

My first time visiting this place, and I am very happy with my experience. The restaurant is on the street that is studded with parking spots all along it. There was a live band playing music when we walked in. I’m not sure having such a loud set on a Sunday afternoon is such a great idea as it caused several customers to ask when it was over so they could come back then. It was indeed too loud, though they were a talented bunch. Onto the important part: the food! We ordered brisket, fried okra, baked beans, and the Hoe Cake. The brisket was probably the best one I’d ever had in my life… so juicy and tender. The okra was fried to perfection-crunchy on the outside and not dry on the inside. The baked beans were fantastic! I usually don’t eat cornbread, but the Hoe Cake was smothered in honey and bacon- what a delight. I’d say the only thing that was off aside from the annoying music was our server seemed to not like being at work. That’s never a great vibe. The other employees were very happy and sweet. All in all, we will be returning time and time again!

They have a nice ambiance and selection of alcoholic drinks. The best part of our meals were the sides. The Mac and cheese and coleslaw were delicious. I had a brisket and hot links, my wife had the trip tip. Unfortunately, the hot links and tri tip were very cold. We asked our waiter to take them back which he did.The hot links came back at the right temperature but the tri tip did not still cold. In regard to the hot link and brisket both of those were tender and juicy. We might give them a second chance in the future.

I don't get it. I've walked by here many times, and it always seems busy. Finally, visited, and was disappointed. Service was non-existent. Prices were high, even by California and BBQ standards. Food was so-so: dry brisket, small portions. I wish I had a photo of the sad little dregs of onion rings I got. I think there were 2 rings, and a small pile of onion flecks. Highlight was the bleu cheese burger, but at $24 basically a la carte, it was hard to enjoy.

*Addendum 7/14/25: After receiving the response from the owner Cherie, I have changed my review to 4+ stars, where this restaurant should be. I fully appreciate the explanation of what happened and am confident she will not let it happen again. We are looking forward to visiting Smokehouse on Main again soon!* We have been to Smokehouse for dinner several times. The food is amazing and we never had a bad experience. But management needs to know how bad the service was that we “received” last night. We were sat in the side room where the band was setting up. Our server Rodrigo took our drink order, brought the drinks and said “I’ll be right back to take your order.” We did not see him again. And I don’t mean he didn’t stop by our table, we literally did not see him come into the room for 20 minutes. I know that’s how long it was because we sat down right before the baseball game on tv started at 7:15, and I specifically checked my phone for the time. At 7:35, I got up and went to the front of the restaurant and told the staff there about our wait and I wanted to order food. The lady at the front said a quick “I’m sorry that happened” and took my order at the bar. Which, by the way, she put in the wrong table number and we had to flag down the expediter when he was wandering around the room with our food later. Another 10 minutes pass. No Rodrigo. Again, not even in the room. Our food comes out and is amazing as usual, but still no Rodrigo. There were other servers and bussers servicing other tables, but no Rodrigo. He did eventually make an appearance to ask if we wanted any ketchup and to refill our water, but gave absolutely no acknowledgement that he hadn’t been to our table once in nearly 40 minutes. To be clear, we love the atmosphere of this place, the food is always awesome, and have had great service in the past. But this lack of attention last night was way beyond “bad service.” We honestly are going to have to think twice before going back again.

Had a family celebration for my husband birthday. The place was extremely busy, and we had a bit of a wait to be waited on. The cuts of meat were very good quality and cooked perfectly. Had a good selection of appetizers and side dishes. The presentation of food was cute (mini skillet).Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. There is something on the menu for the pickiest eater. The vibe is very causal laid-back. Will definitely be going back.

I'm a fan of the food here, the BBQ Ribs (mopped) were wonderful as well as beans ➕️ fries. My main "knock" is they don't offer complimentary bread or biscuits (like nearby Lucille's). Only available for sale. Small portion sides are included with your meal however you are upsold to larger sized portions which is essentially paying for your sides. Another tacky note is they charge an additional 3% fee to there already high prices if you use a credit card. It's good food here to keep this review positive however wish there was some value here to dine in more often.

Google
Server was great, but the food was a huge let down. We've been before and thought it was good, but it has gone downhill. To start my husband and I were given menus with two different prices so we could see how much everything has gone up. We understand why cost has increased, but it was misleading since if my husband didn't notice the difference in prices I would have been surprised by the bill since it was significantly more. As for the food, I ordered the chicken and waffles. One side of the waffles were burnt the other side were barely cooked. The flavor of the waffles and chicken were both very bland and plain. My husband got the hot link sliders with wasabi slaw and he said it wasn't hot at all. Overall for the new prices, definitely not worth it. Would have given a 2 star but the server bumped it up.

Yelp
Great find! We wanted good food, an adult beverage, with a chill vibe. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived and the staff took great care of us. The beers were perfectly cold. I went with the Tri tip salad, so I could try the BBQ, but also be healthy. It was the perfect combo. If you are a karaoke enthusiast, this place will be your jam.

Yelp
So those that follow my reviews (estimated at Prbly 2 people) know that I am on the road about 48 weeks a year, so I am no stranger to the downfalls of the delivery services, the culprit in this scenario is Grubhub. Ordered a bunch of food on Friday, and was looking forward to trying the food from Smokehouse. Received a message that order was being prepared, and another saying the driver was headed to the restaurant. Now before Karen's jump in with their uninformed assessment, on top of the driver's benefits I tipped 15% so STFU!! About 40 minutes I received a message that the order was canceled because the restaurant was closed. At first I was like, that's weird, who closes a bbq spot on a Friday just before dinner rush starts? I decided to call the restaurant and low and behold they were in fact open. I placed an order elsewhere for the evening. I unfortunately missed a call but received a voicemail from Sherry whom I presume is the owner or manager expressing her apologies and her disappointment in Grubhub. So Saturday I placed basically the same order and after all that shit I wrote above the following is my opinion on this place. 1. Ribs... flavors are on point, nice smoke ring, tender and juicy. 8.3 2. Tri Tip... real deal. Tender, flavorful, great fat to meat ratio. 9.1 3. Hot Link... decent, not the best I've had, they spiral cut which I'm not a fan of. I feel like they may be outside prepared sausage that they smoke in house but I don't know that to be true. A good sausage has a great snap and runs juice all over your beard ( yes ladies even your shaved beard deserves some fat on it). 7.0 4. Mac n cheese... not sure if I got the last portion of that particular sheet pan but it was dry and not very flavorful. 6.3 5. Beans...delicious, ate the entire bowl. 9.0 6. Ho Cake... OMFG!!! Moist, well cooked and absolutely DELICIOUS !! The glaze and the bacon topping compliment this dish immensely. This is typically served in a cast iron pan in house which I can only imagine enhances the dish. For me, eating it out of a foil pan in a hotel room I have to say it's a 10, so maybe a 15 in house. May I suggest a Jalapeño version?? Customer service here (at least for me) was outstanding and I appreciate everyone there and all y'all did attempt to resolve the above mentioned situation. I will absolutely be eating in house very soon and look forward to enjoying your delicious food. Good luck and god bless!!

Yelp
The restaurant is located in old town Newhall on Main St. Parking is available on the street and can be limited at times. Upon entering we were met immediately by friendly employees and sat at a nice corner table. Our server was the bartender and he took our drink order right away. His bartender skills were on point as he made a fantastic Long Island Iced Tea. They also have a good selection of craft beers on tap. They have both inside and outside seating. We sat inside at a table. Many folks chose to sit at the expansive bar inside. The menu is extensive and I had a tough time deciding on what to have. We ended up with the Hush Puppies, a half rack of baby back ribs, and a bacon cheeseburger. The hush puppies were fantastic, not too big and full of flavor. The ribs were huge, meaty, and had a wonderful smoky flavor. The burger was huge!! Overall, a fantastic meal and I can't wait to go back and try other menu items.

Yelp
All I gotta say is yum . We got the three combo - tri tip brisket and pork ribs . Amazing . Will be coming back soon. Great date sponsor just for fun .

Yelp
This place is soo yummy. They have a wide range of options to select from, even vegetarian friendly. The food tasted fresh and the service was great. Servers are super friendly and accommodating. Our server was constantly checking on us. We went for Father's Day and even though it was pretty busy, the ambiance was perfect. It's a casual spot with some extra ordinary food! Highly recommend!!

Yelp
We love coming to this restaurant when we are in the area visiting our daughter. The food was amazing and the drinks were great. The service has been wonderful on both occasions. I really want to send a WOW out to our awesome server Anthony. The last time we visited this restaurant it was in November. After we were seated Anthony approached our table to take our drink order. My husband started to order and Anthony remembered what drink my husband had last time we were there. "WOW", now that is a great server . Looking forward to coming back to this establishment for a great evening .

Yelp
We came here on a weekday for dinner with the family, I forget which day it was. I remember coming here years ago and being impressed so I was looking forward to it again. Service was fine, no wait for a table for 5. I ordered the baby back ribs with asparagus and baked beans and a bottle of wine to share with the wife. I found the ribs to be dry and not very flavorful. The beans were blah but the asparagus was delicious. My kids or wife didn't really care for their food either but we all loved the monster cookie dessert and peach cobbler that took 20 mins to prepare. The best part of the meal was the karaoke night they had. My 10 year old daughter got up and sang a song and it was amazing to see her do that. She did great! Everyone was super friendly, including the host who helped her with choosing a song and getting registered to sing. Crowd was supportive, which I've found is normal for karaoke crowds. Cool vibe. I'd definitely come back for the karaoke, but probably not for the food.

Yelp
I ate it so fast, I forgot to snap some pics... my apologies to start. I was looking for something to eat in the Santa Clarita area and almost drove past the whole town until the Yelp! machine brought this establishment up. I called it in since I was on my way home and then proceeded to the spot. Big place with indoor and outdoor seating and a full bar. As I waited, I ordered a beer, lots of choices on tap and bottle, and enjoyed the ambiance. The waiter served me up right away and I told him I was waiting for take away. He started to rush to serve me, but I told him I had been on the road for the last 3 hours, there was no rush and I was just going to take my time and enjoy the beer. He was happy to hear that since the place was starting to pick up a bit. I ordered the whole chicken, baby back ribs and brisket with the beans and mac and cheese. I can say everything was great except the mac and cheese because the wife ate it before I could even get to it lol. I am assuming it was very delicious because of that. Nice spot, lots of room and the food was awesome! Normal pricing for bbq as we all know a lot of love and time goes into a good bbq. Go for the food but stay to enjoy it all. In old downtown. Enjoy!

Alex G.

Yelp
The brisket was excellent. Best asparagus I've ever had with perfect texture (not stringy at all) and seasoning. The baked beans were very good and the cornbread was amazing.

Yelp
What a nice surprise. We had a fantastic experience on July 27th, 2023. Live music was ridiculously good. Jasmine did and excellent job taking our orders and checking in with us at all the right times. Yelp check in will get you free hush puppies. Parking is easy. All the food was delicious and arrived at appropriate temperatures and flavors. Glad to see small business supporting live music. Look forward to our next visit. Fun! :)

Yelp
Unbelievable. This place actually brings you a tab with two separate totals. The total from the listed menu. And the total adding their credit card expense to each item if you decide to pay with credit card. Isn't this illegal? I'm calling the BBB . Now we're responsible for operational cost. Never again and the food isn't that great either.

Yelp
(I would have put this on GOOGLE and YELP, but GOOGLE has issues...) Bottom line! We love SmokeHouse on Main. I have a new FAVORITE; FRITO PIE!!! So dang gooooood! Lots of Fritos, my favorite chip! Chili was excellent, as always! Great appetizer 'meal'. Just a very fun place to hang out, have a couple drinks, talk to friends. Service was great. ALL GOOD!!

Yelp
As a former Houstonian that frequented Texas barbecue restaurants, this restaurant knows how to smoke brisket! The brisket is fabulous! Some of my other favorites include their baked beans, sliders, flight of beer and sangria. Service is amazing, so is the owner! We sat outside, enjoyed the fresh air and view of Main Street. I highly recommend this restaurant! Recommendation... if you order the coleslaw with wasabi, which is very good, ask for a side of the dressing. It was a little dry when it was served.

Yelp
Saturday night. Second time here and it did not disappoint. I didn't catch our servers name, but she was so sweet and attentive. She knew we were doing dry January and made sure our glasses were always full. Hostess was nice as well. We ordered an artichoke dip to start. I have to be honest it was not good. For our main dishes I ordered the tri tip sliders with a side Mac and cheese. Very good. My friend ordered a beyond burger with a side of Mac and cheese. She also thought it was delicious. For dessert we ordered a monster cookie. Sooo gooey and delicious. We sat in the dining room to the left (opposite the bar)... We were pleasantly surprised to find out there was live music at 9pm. They played Everything from '80s, funk, classic Rock & top 40s. There's even a little room for some dancing. We came for dinner but stayed for the music.

Yelp
We stopped here on our way to Yosemite and we're so happy we did. The town itself looks so historic, and I love the whole feel of this area and this restaurant. The server (not sure if he was the owner) was extremely courteous and attentive throughout our stay. He exuded a very relaxed but helpful vibe which made the whole dining experience even more special. The food was all excellent, including the Pitmaster Fries and the Fried Pickles which were exceptional and devoured quickly by our group of 5. I had the Pulled Pork Sandwich with the Wasabi Slaw and Hush Puppy side (not officially a "side" but asked for it as an extra and absolutely delicious) which was excellent, and my wife had the BBQ Tri-Tip Salad which she also thoroughly enjoyed. The rest of our group had some some great dishes as well, including the Smokehouse Patty Melt and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their dishes. We look forward to stopping here the next time we are in the area.

Yelp
My cousin attempted days before to reserve a table for our group & was told no reservations however call the day of. Saturday (June 11) arrived we approached the hostess @ 430 to reserve for 630 & we were able to reserve for table of 10. Our group arrived 5 minutes late but were immediately seated. Ambience was peaceful, soft lighting, soft music. Seating outside or inside. Inside divided bar with seating on 1 half & sit down dinner on other side. Customer service was exceptional. Food was fresh & hot. Food was delicious. Saturday evening live music. Highly recommend.

Yelp
The owner is very attentive to its customers and provides great service! The place provided live music at 9 pm. Overall, we LOVED the loaded fries and meat sampler! Definitely a place to go to!

Yelp
This was my third visit, today I needed some comfort food and a cold beer after a long day at work! The whole crew @ Smokehouse, including the owner were fantastic and they have live music to top it off.

Yelp
The location on main is easy to find and has lots of street parking and a city lot near by. Both indoor and out door seating and on Tuesday night music and Wed. they have Karaoke. A greet selection of near and wine. A good bar grub menu. We came to in and were seated directly in the non music side. You can still hear the music but you can talk. We ordered a. Two meat.combo to share. I had asked if brisket was moist or dry. Was told very moist. The brisket was cut so thin it could not be anything but dry. Also not much flavor you would think after 14 hours of smoke you would have some. The plus is they have a selection of sauces. I like the peach habanero the best. I would of ask for a thicker cut of meat but the waitress spent most of her time at the front of the house at the bar in what appeared to be conversation with co workers. The ribs were good not a lot of meat but great smoke flavor. I liked the sides Mac and Cheese and a Wasabi Coleslaw. We did order dessert which was the cobbler which was a bit to dense for our liking so we basically just ate the ice cream You do need to allow time for dessert they take extra time to prep. Overall our waitress was not on top of it always time to spot her and then a long time to get what was request. The other waitress Sharleen was on top of her tables as well as the hostess I will comeback I like the atmosphere but would order maybe a pulled chicken or a burger. Hopefully service will be better I almost wonder if the brisket came out so fast that maybe it was precut contributing to the dryness.

Yelp
Cute little spot on Main. You can smell the food before walking in. We had good service, the food was all good and great portions. Some of the things we tried were baby back ribs, pulled pork, Mac n cheese, potato salad, fries, garlic rice and the peach cobbler. The old fashion was also a good drink Definitely coming back to try other things.

Yelp
Decent food. Nice service. Stumbled onto this place while doing an activity in this pretty little town. The food was decent. The pb&j burger was juicy. I wish there was a tad more peanut butter and jelly. I usually don't add extra sauce to taste exactly how it was made. After midway thru it definitely needed some added sauce. And the table was set with all types of bbq sauce. I used the California bbq sauce which was tasty. My wife ate most of her quinoa salad with added chicken. She didn't seemed thrilled. She took her remaining food as leftovers. The hushpuppies were cooked well and the sauce that it came with was bland. So we used the California bbq sauce again to "tasty it" up.

Yelp
The food is fantastic at Smokehouse on Main! The drinks are also pretty on point! Our service is always impeccable. It's a great place for a date night and/or a family meal. We loved the live entertainment. We highly recommend an old fashioned and margaritas. Their bbq sauces are plentiful and all delicious. It's a must try!

Yelp
Been here a number of times over the years and this has to be the absolutely worse place I've been to in a long time. The only good part of our visit was the band...they were amazing and so nice to listen too. That's the only reason they got 1 star! My partner and I came here for a late lunch after a long ride on the motorcycle. We still had our riding jackets on so we thought we'd eat outside and we could still here the music. After 15 minutes and no one came to take out drink order we went inside. The hostess asked if we wanted our check! Really?!?!? For breathing the air? The owner/manager came over and said "no one told me you were outside", you couldn't see us on the other side of the window? How about an apology? Well we took a table in the Smokehouse Lounge. Loved the band! Got a beer but they were out of 805...hmm last three times I've been here they've been out too. Wonder if they even have it? Wanted to get artichoke dip...apparently that was going to take 20 minutes. No thank you. We split the brisket slider with Mac and cheese and asked for hush puppies for starters. Well the sliders were lukewarm and so was the macaroni and cheese. The hush puppies came late and were hard and crunchy on the outside and partially frozen inside. What the heck?!?!? The place was packed and maybe it was people on their first visit! We might go back on a Sunday afternoon to have a beer and listen to the music. Otherwise, this will be a pass.

Yelp
The best bbq spot I have tried in a while. I use to go to Gus's and the food is good, but trying smokehouse on Main I must say Is different, tastier, and seasoned very well. I like the area it's in and how cute this spot is in Santa Clarita. Food: Is VERY delicious and hot! They have like 5 sauces they have on each table and I love the bourbon bbq sauce. It was just perfect on the half chicken plate I ordered. The chicken was very moist, hot, and falling off the bone. The two sides I decide to get was the roasted corn and greens and OMG they were flavorful and seasoned perfectly. Honestly it tasted just like my moms fresh and very southern with the right spices. The roasted corn comes on the Cobb but you can have the corn without if asked. The hoecake you must order is just really tasty and savory. I couldn't stop eating it and I gave up on bread! It takes 20 mins to prepare so order that first! Service: The waiter Rodrigo was very attentive and knew his job. He was very respectful and recommended great options! Nothing was a problem at all, everything we asked for was at our table and constantly checked on our table! Overall, I will come back of course many times! They have happy hour during the week and a live band that I would love to see! The food and service is phenomenal! I wish one even closer to my home :)

Yelp
Our first time at Smokehouse. Stopped in for lunch. They were busy inside and out, but we were seated right away. Atmosphere: Great. Very comfortable vibe. Full service bar along the right side as you walk in, with booth seating to the left. They have an additional room and outdoor seating. Multiple TV screens up and running with different shows. Staff: Super friendly, every one. Prompt and personal attention, good table chatter and sense of humor. A+++. Plus, a few more pluses... Food: Very good overall. I had the Kansas City Burger. I ordered it medium, but it was delivered cooked well (no pink at all). However, it was very flavorful and tender, so it didn't matter. The coleslaw and cheese on the burger worked together perfectly, and it had great flavor. I ordered the potato salad, which is a creamy version and had good taste. Sue ordered their patty melt. It's served on Texas toast with bacon. So...it's not really a patty melt (which is a real "thing" ie rye bread, thin patty, cheese and sometimes onions), but is really a Texas Toast Melt. It tasted good though. The fries were crisp on the outside, tender inside. Price: Well...I guess it's relative and what people will pay, but $22-$25 for a burger and side is pretty steep compared to other restaurants. All restaurants can charge whatever they want, and they seem busy, but they're definitely over market price for a premium burger. Ice teas were $4 each. The only down is the BBQ sauces on the tables. The bottles were covered in drips and hand smears, so definitely not being wiped down between services. Both my wife and I wanted to try some, but we just couldn't handle those bottles and then pick up our sandwiches. Need to do better there! Overall, I would recommend this place for good food and excellent service. A bit pricey, but it feels like you're getting premium ingredients.

Yelp
Wish the burger had more flavor and the asparagus was decent. The service was good and the drinks were as well I may only come back for a drink

Yelp
Excellent service, the BBQ was smoked perfectly. Quaint atmosphere. Ask for the hush puppies as they are complementary. Well worth the money. Highly recommend!

Yelp
We are only passing through town on our way home back to Nor Cal and this place is in walking distance from our hotel. The ambience is awesome! Just have not seen a good place like this in CA yet so if you're looking for some southern charm this is the place. The staff was awesome honestly. Our waitress was great, she checked on us, refilled our drinks, made sure we were happy. The bartender was on another level! This guy has skills... he made a drink that he just, well made up and holy cow it was honestly one of the best warm-bourbon style drinks I've ever had. He was all around really talented. The food was really good. We had the fried pickles as an appetizer and they were awesome, the breading was different and I'm not sure what they did but it works. The sauce on the side had a little kick that went perfectly with the pickles. I highly recommend you use the mustard style BBQ they have on the table with the pickles too... just trust me it works. My son had the PB&J Burger... yes that's not a typo and he said it was one of the best burgers he's had in a long time. I had the tri-tip salad and let me just say its 100% worth every penny and yes it's a BIG salad so you're totally getting your money on this one. I have never seen a salad come to the table like this before... they actually put meat on my salad!!! Thank You!!! This is what a salad is supposed to look like and taste like... it was so delicious. I had mine with vinaigrette and it was a perfect combination. So, would I go back? Oh ya! Would I recommend this place? You better believe it!

Yelp
Went for the live music, and that was the only good thing about the entire experience. We got seated in the music area and got an appetizer (a hoe cake) and drinks in smoothly. Next time, the waitress took our food order, and the drinks came by shortly. Soon, the main course arrived: 2 meats (Jack Daniels glazed baby backs, brisket, and two sides of potato salad and mixed veggies). The meat was cold. I understand good barbecue does need to rest after cooking, but the ribs were nearly cold and the bones were hardly above room temp. The side (the veggies were upgraded to a large) were basically two good bites a piece. Even with the glaze, my ribs seemed bland, and the veggies were tasteless and barely cooked. Potato salad? Actually pretty damn good, so props there. Still no sign of that hoe cake appetizer! Turns out it wasn't even being cooked at that point. Okay then, guess we'll reorder it and get it during the meal and music. Long story short: after having to get our own silverware and napkins, then eating the entire meal, we still never got it. And our waitress abandoned us to someone else after taking our food order. The other two tables under her watch? Totally fine with them. So we ate, we sat there simmering, and had to badger our new waiter twice to get the check. We tried to cancel the appetizer - pretty much ready to just leave - and he left after confirming we wanted our check. Left my wife half-talking to herself basically. Now, I'm not a rude or entitled guy, but having an appetizer take over an hour, being left by our server, and doing a small portion of my own service is a bit silly. And for our trouble, we got a boxed hoe cake for half off. Never seen a place comp like that - usually it's all or nothing. And it's got holes in it. Not trying to be a Karen, but if I gotta wait over an hour for some fancy cornbread, I'd like for it to look like it's worth the very, very extended wait. For an $85 experience, I felt burned. Again, the music was nice. Maybe a bit too loud for that small space, but that's all I can really praise here. Long story short: trust the reviews here. I hoped they were outdated, but they still hold up.

Yelp
Delicious food and excellent cover band on Tuesdays! Very relaxed atmosphere with some regulars dancing to the jams! So fun and delicious!

Yelp
Food was good. Service was poor. Went the day before Sts. Patty day. The special was corned beef and cabbage. $36 a plate!!! My bad. Should have asked how much for the special. We left feeling gouged. Not again. Lost our patronage!

Yelp
Been to this place couple of times. I liked my food very good along with the drinks, the service was excellent. My husband and I went on a Friday night and enjoyed the live band but just a little to loud that it clogged my ears the next day I struggled with vertigo (never had issues with my ears). We will be back for the music but this time I'm taking ear plugs lol..

Yelp
Finally got to check out this place and so happy I did! The service was great! The strawberry lemonade was the best I've ever had and the brisket melt was delicious. I would highly recommend this place! I wanted to try the fried twinkie but I'll have to try it next time. I could not stop eating my meal, so yummy!

Yelp
The family made an E-bike excursion across town to Newhall. We did not have any place in mind and my Son-in-law pulled up at the Smokehouse on main. One of my concerns was where we could park our e-bikes since their theft is all too common. I forgot that Main Street has little fences or hitching posts here and there that serve well to safely lock all the bikes right in front of the restaurants. That takes that worry away while you are eating. We sat outside at one of the heavy long tables and were treated to an enjoyable lunch due to the really good food and the excellent service headed up by Kimberly and the other well trained staff. We sampled a variety of foods. The Fried Pickles, $14.42 were a hit with everyone at the table. They were a little spicy for the little ones but wonderful with the wide selection of cold Brews, $10.30/16oz on average that they serve here. My wife did not like the Onion Rings, $9.27 much since they were coated with a tempura batter and she is an onion ring purist who likes the corn meal batter better. However to me they were first rate and disappeared from the table all too quickly. I ordered the Burger Sampler with three sliders, a Blue Cheese, Kansas City and a PB&J slider for $29.87. I would order their Blue Cheese burger on a future visit as they did a very good version of one. I guess a PB&J burger is something of a learned taste since neither I nor my wife were impressed with it. Kimberly suggested the Brisket Melt $25.75 to my wife and she loved it. She reported it was very tender as well as very flavorful. I tried some of the Chili Cheese Fries, $17.51 my Son-in-law ordered. I liked they had ample chili and the right amount of spice over a fry that stood up to the drenching. The Kids Mac and cheese and Kids Fish and chips both $8.24 were a good deal and were large enough to split three ways. All in all it was a great time with excellent service. It seemed that every time a glass was empty or a plate was in the way our server was there to deal with it. Here I give the place high marks and say job well done. As you can see from the prices it is not a go to place for the budget conscious. With our six adults and three small children the bill topped out at just under $300 with tip. Yet it definitely is a place to consider for that special occasion you want to go off right.

Yelp
We stoped by here for an early dinner/late lunch on our way to the AV area after a trip to LA. The staff was warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We sat across from the bar, which had 24 beers on tap, which included some great local ones. My Husband went traditional and ordered the BBQ brisket which was prepared perfectly! I had the 3 Burger Sliders. I couldn't pass up the blue cheese burger (our waiter even offered me extra sauce on the side)! Don't pass up the PB&J Burger, it was not what I was expecting and was the star of my trio. The flavor combination was ON POINT! We also ordered the the Banana pudding to go. So glad we didn't pass that up. It was definitely home made and delicious! The service was great and our waiter so friendly. Wish I remembered his name. We will be back!

Yelp
Just based on our experience it was great. We literally walked in after having dinner someplace else. Basically just wanted dessert. Monday night, it was pretty busy when we walked in. Opted for the bar which was nice. Bartender was great, sweet and friendly. Menu wise, obviously if you like bbq, it's your spot. From what I gathered from friends that have been here, it amazing. Dessert wise, we shared two which was really good. Took about 20 min to prepare which was fine as we had a drink while waiting. Also if you check in on Yelp, we received hush puppies. Overall, dessert was great as well as service. Will need to come back and try out the food next.

Yelp
We came on a Saturday afternoon, we were seated inside within minutes. The AC helped us cooled down from the heat outside, the setting inside was definitely gave off the hipster and chill vibes. However I have to say the bathroom wasn't clean. Our server came to take our drink order followed later with the food. We got the 2 meat option with its 2 side options. We were quite excited to try the food, the meat was juicy and delicious. However, the coleslaw didn't have much flavor. The bbq sauces were all delicious to try . Don't forget to unlock your free hush puppies, they are delicious.

Yelp
My husband and I met a old friend in Newhall for dinner. We like so much this place. Sunday normally restaurants close early, we found this place, they have a wonderful impossible burger, really good! The French frieze were tasty as well. The service is really friendly, fast and efficient. The ambiance is great! They have music alive on Sunday probably. The band is great! Really! But if you want to chat seat in another room and you still listen music and sing together. For sure we will go back there.

Yelp
The food here is absolutely insane. We got the spaghetti chili and it was AMAZING. I got it for everyone to try and no one was as excited but me and once they tried it, gone. Pulled pork sandwich 10/10 with the sweet coleslaw! Homeboy got the hotmess sandwich because it's fitting, and he loved it as well. I'm a big soup girl, and that chicken noodle soup was wild. It was the best chicken noodle I've ever had hands down. The sides of Mac n cheese and mashed potatoes were astonishing small but whatever works.

Yelp
What a great place this is... outside dining, a tremendous small business the type that just gets it right, and the staff treats you well but of course best of all was the BBQ, I had my usual rack of ribs and a pound of Q'd meat... the smoke was delicious and made me wanting more I will definitely be back, it made the trip to Sacramento so much better

Yelp
Really wanted to like this place but the BBQ was mediocre. Had the triple combo plate with Rib, Tri Tip, and Brisket and all tasted very dry. I had fries and garlic rice as the sides and they were decent.

Yelp
I didn't take any pictures this time, but I always love their food! We all actually had a very nice tri-tip salad

Yelp
My wife and I found this on a fluke. We were driving from Palmdale back to LA and felling a bit hungry. Decided to check yelp for something new to try on the way home. We had a craving for bbq so thought, sure why not. The combo plate of brisket pulled pork and chicken was very good real smoked meat. They have a wide variety of sauces to try. The sides were excellent, the best baked beans I have had at a bbq joint in a long time. They also make very good chilli. Deep rich flavor and not supper spicy, is good as a bowl and great on fries! They also have a full bar and large selection of beer on tap. But the real star of the show and what keeps us coming back is the soup of the day. This is home made from scratch excellence. Every single soup we have tried is out of this world. Bacon potatoes, the best part of clam chowder minus the clams! Chicken and rice, deep full chicken flavor with tons of veg, a bit like a calldo de pollo. They do not have a set schedule for the soup, so we call ahead. I always get extra bowls to go and every time regret not getting more. It's a nice casual place to grab a bit or definitely a bowl of soup! Staff is friendly and very helpful, giving great advice on item to try on the menu. The prices are high but the quality is well worth it. Good food is not cheap, and cheap food is rarely good.

Yelp
I haven't been here in nearly 4 years so this was my first time in a while, and sadly it wasn't as good as I remember it. We started with the fried green beans. They were good and crispy. (Four stars) I had the chili with cornbread for $24. For that price I expected an epic bowl of chili and corn bread to match. The chili comes served OVER the corn bread so 80% of the bowl is corn bread and the other 20% is chili on top, which would be fine I guess if both were great. Unfortunately neither was great, and for $24 I'd expect A LOT more chili or even the World's 5th Best corn bread. Side note: I also paid an extra $1 for sour cream but was given about a teaspoon's worth on my meal which made me sad. (One star) My fiancée got the half chicken with two sides; mashed potatoes and roasted corn. She really liked the chicken but said the sides were average. (Four stars) Finally, we ordered the Fried Southern Bread Pudding. We ordered it to-go since we weren't starving but the server said it was really good so we figured we take it home. On the way home I asked my fiancée to look at it because it didn't smell appetizing. Turns out it was burnt to a crispy black (see photo). I wasn't prepared drive back since we were nearly home so we tossed it. But seriously, a cook shouldn't have let that leave the kitchen, very disappointing...$15 in the trash. (Zero stars) Overall, our service was good, and food came out quickly. The atmosphere was fine, felt a little more like a diner than a BBQ place, and the restaurant looked like it had seen better days. For $95 we expected better. We're fine paying that much for a meal, but that's just too many missteps for us to return.

Yelp
One of the worst service I have ever experienced, doesn't matter what the food tastes like when the service is horrible. There are many great options close by, so please choose others. There was not wait here and now I know why. They ruined our Mother's Day.
