If you haven't ever heard of bingsu, or tried a red bean or taro-flavored dessert, you're in for a treat at Snowy Village. Whether you are looking for something hot, cold, savory or sweet, shareable or just for yourself, there are plenty of options for a snack or dessert at Snowy Village.
For a hot and savory option, you may wish to try out their taiyaki, which is kind of like a stuffed croissant that is hot-pressed. Just this week I tried their ham and cheese taiyaki, and all I can say is YUM. So much deliciousness in the simple ham & cheese-stuffed warm, buttery, and crispy pastry.
For a sweet and cold option, definitely go with a bingsu. You can start with a more fruity flavor such as strawberry or mango or blueberry, or, for a more traditional Korean flavor, go with taro, mochi, or red bean. Depending on the season, the fruit options may change (I appreciate this). I've had watermelon-flavored bingsu here in the summer which was absolutely my favorite. But I'd recommend bringing a friend or two so you can split a large option (or multiple flavors)! These flavors are placed atop a mound of shaved coconutty/milky ice.
Snowy Village never disappoints. It is truly a heavenly spot. Underrated, if you ask me. I don't go here enough, and neither do you, most likely!
