Highlights

"Social 27 Cuban Cocina & Cocktail Bar is a love letter to Cuba in the 1940s and 1950s. In the 1940s, supper clubs were “destinations” where patrons would spend their entire evening, from cocktail hour to after-dinner nightclub entertainment. As a sister restaurant to local favorite Doce Provisions, Social 27 delivers a vibrant culinary experience with its creative Cuban cuisine. Its lush, tropical dining room and carefully crafted cocktails transport guests and pay homage to Cuban heritage."

Google
Really enjoyed the decor of this restaurant. It is clean with natural tones, very modern. It was a more than pleasant dining experience. We were a large party, and we were seated in a room off to the side from the band but we could still hear them well. It was a three-piece band playing Latin covers. It made for a fun atmosphere. We had a very large party and the wait staff was phenomenal with keeping up with everybody's demands. I got a chance to try a little bit of everything since everybody ordered such different plates and we ordered a couple appetizers. The stand out for me was the fried yuca cheeseballs with the honey. Wow! What a fun twist on a Latin staple. The con gris was also very well done not "casero", but elevated, with lovely flavors and fluffy. The Hit of the night was the birthday cake that was ordered for the birthday boy. So well done, light airy, with an amazing flavor. Almost everybody sitting at the table was ready to take one home, or at the very minimum order for takeout for a special occasion. Another plus to this restaurant is the fact that there is a lot next-door. You do have to pay for parking, it is pay by the hour, but the ease with which I was able to park in Little Havana was refreshing.

Google
This typical Cuban restaurant stands out for excellence in food and service. Music is provided by a DJ; but if you come early you will miss the noise and be able to talk across the table. The pictures are representative of some of the dishes we had, they are not actual, but any choice will bring good food to your table, enjoy.

Google
Wonderful, lively atmosphere with live music on Thur-Sun nights. Delicious food and drinks with pricing that is likely good for a city like Miami. Good for a special night out or event. We saw a surprise birthday party while dining. It's off season and decently busy, so it must be full up in season.

Google
This was my first time coming to this restaurant, but making the reservation with Ingrid was great, she had a lot of patience and had a great attitude. The service inside the restaurant was great, the cocktails were delicious and the food was excellent. I would come here again and I would recommend this place to family and friends!

Google
My husband and I came to share just appetizers. All very good, we had the tartar tacos, the bonds, some croquetas, cheese balls and some drinks. It was exactly what we were looking for

Social 27 Miami, located at 2555 SW 8th St in the heart of Little Havana, offers an eclectic Cuban-fusion dining experience. The restaurant features a vibrant atmosphere with live music nightly, a full bar, and both indoor and outdoor seating options. The menu includes dishes like Grilled Giant Prawn, Tiradito Cienfuegos, and Croquetas Y Caviar. The ambiance and service were amazing along with the food and great cocktails.

Google
I cannot say enough about how amazing this place was. I made a reservation months in advance for my sisters bachelorette party of 13 people and they went above and beyond to make it a great experience for us. Ahead of time they were always quick to respond over email as we were out of state and accommodated multiple changes to the reservation we made. Our actual dinner was so much fun and made even better by our amazing waitress Ingrid. The food was delicious, we ordered multiple appetizers and kept sending for more because of how good they were. Our entrees & drinks were all delicious as well. Ingrid was so sweet and attentive especially to my sister on her special trip. She gave our LARGE group free tequila shots and the atmosphere was made better by the dj. I can’t say anything bad about this place, just go!!

Google
I am giving 5star for the restaurant, food and atmosphere. The food was delicious . We did enjoy it as for our first time here. The only one reason I wanted to give 4 star is for the photographer that was taking photos of each table. He did take photos of us and then came back to sell them for $20 each . We purchased 2 at $40 and asked if we can get as a bonus one more or at least email the link with photos to us (there were total 5, we need to agree that 100$ for photos in a frame that we don’t need it’s kind of expensive) our dinner bill was 350$ - the photographer did say he will email the photos got my business card and 1 week later no photos…. He didn’t also want to hand the one already printed photo (he would shred it anyways I am sure he didn’t keep it - but also refused to gift it as a bonus for buying 2x20$ … I suggest that gets fixed as it was the only reason made us feel not as great as I thought we would

Yelp
Dining at Social 27 was a nice experience. Our visit for lunch was during the Calle Ocho Music Festival. Thankfully Social 27 was open as my boyfriend isn't such a fan of street food. (Note that other businesses like Ball and Chain were unexpectedly closed) The food is pretty spectacular. We enjoyed the crisp Croquetas and the Roja Vieja with our drinks. Pretty darn delish! Social 27's environ is fun and joyful but be prepared for a busy dining room/patio. By busy I mean loud. Lol. But a must visit especially for the bevvies.

Yelp
Out and about on my first visit to Miami. Happened upon Social 27 Supper Club, after walking about Little Havana (they were actually closing from the lunch hour and not opening again till later), but Ruben took heart and allowed me in for a cool drink for a weary tourist. What a cool, spot, nice atmosphere, decor-good vibes. I spent some time talking with Ruben and Liz and let them get on with work and was invited back. I didn't think I'd make it back but the promise of a good meal beckoned me. The food was sooo very good, fresh, and good portions (that's Liz for the guidance on what to select). Oh and the drinks Jose made me were also simply refreshing and exactly perfect for the evening. I highly recommend you guys stop by and have drinks and a soulful meal with them! Ruben, Liz and Jose.

Yelp
I did lots of research before deciding on Social 27 and I found this place has a fantastic reputation. So I was a little surprised when I arrived around 7:00 and there were literally no other diners! But it turned out to be terrific: the food, drinks, setting, and the personalized service I got from my waitress was outstanding. The hospitable vibe made me feel special, like I belonged, as opposed to self-conscious or on display in the empty room. She did assure me that it fills up frequently, and two or three other parties did come in towards the end of my visit around 8:30. Maybe people just tend to eat later around here. I started off with a Hemingway daiquiri, one of my standards these days. Fresh-squeezed lime juice, a decent rum, pronounced cherry flavor, and a nice sugar-rimmed glass. Not too sweet and very strong. Enough so that two would have been irresponsible as a driver. My second and last drink, Portlandia pinot noir, was above average for a house wine, a good size and under the going rate for wine glasses. I noticed Fever Tree sodas at the bar. That's an excellent brand and I don't see them often. Speaking of the bar, it was nothing too fancy but I loved the the white monkey figures swinging from the vines overhead, illuminated by the changing colored lights. Salsa music playing quietly. There was a bartender who I didn't interact with, somehow keeping busy the whole time. I wonder what he was doing with nobody else to serve drinks to? Taking my time before describing the food because I took my time too, studying the menu and taking in the scene. I started with Serrano Ham and Manchego Croquetas: 4 croquettes, browned and firm on the outside and soft, hammy and cheesy inside, sprinkled with cheese on top and aioli underneath. Couldn't be better. Entree was Salmon A La Plancha: the grilled, seasoned fish served on top of a large pool of the aji amarillo sauce. A different sauce, sweet and brown drizzled sparingly on top, a very charred half lime for squeezing on extra flavor. Jasmine rice on the side and a small salad with great greens, a sweet dressing, and pickled onions. The salmon maybe just lightly overcooked? A trivial complaint! Fantastic. Totally unexpectedly, as if it wasn't already special enough, at this point another plate arrived: an appetizer of tostones and a very generous quantity of guacamole, limey and cilantro-laden. Free of course. Well I was pretty full at this point but I thanked her sincerely, tried some - it was excellent - and took most of it home for the next day. Then it was on to dessert. A Cafe Con Leche flan with Kahlua sauce and meringue. Nicely chilled, brûléed, smooth consistency, and toasted meringue that actually tasted good, not like the usual that I just scrape off and discard. Complete with caramel popcorn, salty and sweet, fruit and mint garnish. Equally important as the taste, it was a beautiful presentation. I finished with a flawless espresso. Truly a perfect dining experience, no exaggeration.

Yelp
Let me upgrade you Social 27, for helping me celebrate my "19th*" Birthday this weekend! I had left my birthday planning to the super last minute this year, but remembered the tasty times I've had here, whether their mojitos outside during Calle Ocho or a dinner date during a good friend's recent Miami trip. We were a a group of around 10, and the hostess was more than happy to accommodate a la carte without a preset menu. This was perfect to accommodate the varied dietary choices of our group. Once we got there, factoring in Miami time, we had a large table in the inside dining room where we were attended by Ingrid and various other members of the team. Even Chef Justin came by our table! I picked their Bolitas de Yuca appetizer, little pieces of steamed Yuca flavored with gruyere & parmesan cheeses along with the yummy contrast of black pepper and sweet honey. Being a meatatarian, my main was their Churrasco! Served medium well, it was tender, juicy and well seasoned with a tomato chimichurri & boniato (Cuban sweet potato). The slaw with red onion that accompanied it was nicely refreshing. I also added perfectly crispy thin sliced tostones (fried green plantains). Between their classic Zacapa mojito, a refreshing pina colada with a real pineapple slice for garnish & a tableside-prepared rum old fashioned with orange garnish, chocolate bitters and a smokey flavor, my thirst was sated. Since a birthday calls for cake, Chef Justin and his squad prepared a yummy cake with hints of guava, passion fruit and garnished with pieces of flan. Between the yummy food and the company of good friends who also enjoyed their plates..thank you Social 27 for a memorable evening.

Yelp
Highly impressed by the food, ambiance, and service! We came in as a party of ten for A fellow yelper's bday and they accommodated us beautifully. A nice table indoors off to the side of the restaurant. Now what is good about this restaurant is the "L" shape design were the acoustics favor the inside seating. The band faces the outside area and patio seating so the loudness travels in that direction making the inside part less loud. We can speak to each other while still listening to the music. That's the sweet spot right there! The food was delicious! It's like a Cuban fusion. Everything ordered was spectacular. The drinks were super nice as well. The flan cake that they presented our friend with was so delicious when they sang him happy birthday. Super good Cuban coffee too. Service was on point the whole night. I highly recommend checking this spot out!

Yelp
New spot on Calle ocho we wanted to try out for brunch. Ambience was SUPER cute (I love what they did with the outside area) . They had light chill music playing in the background and service was GREAT. Indoor, outdoor and bar seating. Food on the other hand was ok. There's no brunch menu so we ordered a few apps to share: chorizo croquetas were very good, pork belly's were too but I didn't love the lemon sauce it was in, tostones and avocado were decent, steak was very well cooked but I could have done without the sweet potato's. Full bar but since there isn't brunch menu there wasn't a mimosa deal either so we got a bottle of Prosecco for $50. Overall it was a nice spot to check out but was on the pricier side. Bill came out to 170.

Yelp
This restaurant has gorgeous decor and great vibes, feels and looks like a dining club with interesting furniture and cross of textures. Service was impeccable, our waiter had great timing, I never had to ask for anything. The food was to die! I've lived in Miami for 32 years and the Ropa Vieja I ordered was off the chain! Finely shredded and perfect portion, comes with rice and platano. My friend ordered the Bronzino which also was incredible! I came for lunch and I certainly will be back with my partner for dinner. This Cuban supper club is a true gem for Miami. Bravo, Well Done!

Yelp
This place should be ashamed to say they serve Cuban food. With all the great restaurants in Miami and all the good Cuban restaurants in the city (and on this street), I wouldn't waste my time eating here. The look of the place is awesome but the food is honestly awful. Another one of those Instagram worthy spots with garbage food. The service left so much to be desired and the parking is also difficult. - The waitress did not bring all the drinks or even ask everyone at the table what they wanted to drink. - The milanesa had no cheese and was basically a large greasy chicken nugget. -The congri rice was OLD RICE AND WAS STONE COLD. Also, what Cuban restaurant has no beans and charges extra for plantains? I only know because the only side for the overpriced food is white rice. - I asked for fries for my kids with no toppings and I was ignored. The waitress said it was fine and didn't change them. - I ordered an entree for my kids to share as they don't have a kids menu and they offered to split it for us on two plates. They offered and then didn't split it. - The pork chunks were covered in sauce, dry, and cold. I guess the sauce was the cover the fact that they taste old. My husband had one bite and sent it back. He never ever sends stuff back so it had to be pretty terrible. The waitress started questioning him and rolled her eyes at him. Then they tried to charge us for the food that was sent back. - They brought out a dessert for my mom and literally handed her the candle. They put the candle in her hand on fire. Like are they serious? I have attached a photo because that is literally wild. My family eats out every week and I never leave reviews that are this harsh but they ruined my moms birthday dinner. I will never set foot in this spot again. I'm sure they will be closed within the next couple months. You could eat anywhere else on 8th street and have a better experience.

Yelp
This restaurant is spectacular. The vibe is super cool and very well thought out. The cocktails were bomb! Loved the old fashion and old Cuban. Yuca bites and croquettas were flavor bombs. Dessert was tasty. Steak and vaca frita cooked perfectly. Service was quick and very attentive.

Yelp
What a fantastic experience! Of all the places our host could have e taken us here in Miami, we came here. Lisetty and her team were fantastic! All of the food was prepared perfectly. The bisque was awesome. The flavor was perfect. The chicken with plantains was perfectly prepared and the steak was grilled to perfection. Just an amazing experience. When we come back to visit, Social 27 is definitely a place we will return. The weather cooperated and the my opened the door making our ambiance and experience even better. We closed out the right with a Cabernet and our friends from the training finished their cigars laughing and telling great stories. I highly recommend Social 27. I'm sure you will enjoy the food. The staff is incredible.

Yelp
Beautiful interior and a great dining experience! Came in for happy hour and the drinks were amazing. We tried various cocktails and LOVED every single one. Personal favorites Pina Colada & Old Cuban. The chorizo croquetas were mouth watering. Seating both inside and outside. Staff was kind and attentive. *happy hour Monday-Friday 4-7 throughout the whole restaurant* Street parking directly in front of the restaurant on 8th street.

Yelp
We went for a social happy hour and we were not disappointed! We were seated promptly and our server brought over some water. We had many tapas and all were delicious. The ambience was great, with great background music. Will definitely go back!

Yelp
Excellent food and service in this new location open in little Havana. Came for a friend's birthday and they were gracious with our party, space, and omg the birthday cake was fantastic!!!!!!

Yelp
Celebrated my dear friend Sergio last night at this wonderful Cuban restaurant on Calle Ocho. Good food and ambiance! Live band was great but no space for dancing. Server kept taking our plates too early though. Had to tell her twice. Other than that this was a good option for Little Havana area.

Yelp
Came here to celebrate a friends birthday. He made reservations by calling the restaurant when we arrived, everything was nicely set up. The ambience was uplifting and vibrant with live music. The decor was beautiful and gave me a jungle fever vibes with the hanging monkeys over the bar. The food was very very good. I love that she's a yuca bites drench inhoney. Oh my gosh, so good and I had the salmon dish which was very nice and flavorful would definitely come back here to check out their other dish items.

Yelp
If you're a fan of Doce Provisions, you'll loooooove Social 27. Beautifully decorated space with great live music Thursday thru Sunday. Once this place gets poppin, the vibe will be unmatched. Food is incredible. Ordered multiple items with another couple to share and everything was exceptional. My personal favorite were the bolitas de Yuca- Gruyere, Parmesan, Honey and Black Pepper....it's a MUST. My husband is plant-based so Chef Justin is kind enough to whip up a vegan dish for him that never disappoints. If this is the case for you, don't be afraid to ask your server for options. The chef is a creative genius in the kitchen so he's masterful at creating a veggie forward dish you'll enjoy. There's a full bar, space to dance and nearby parking and/or valet if you choose. Overall it's a great Cuban spot with quality food. Once it picks up, it'll be a hot spot for sure.

Yelp
Delightful experience at social 27. Came to celebrate a friend's birthday left feeling like it was mine. Service was great, especially with the recommendations, for the churrasco and the orange roasted banana crème brûlée. Live band was playing authentic Cuban music while we enjoyed delicious Mojitos. Also tasted their Aji tuna tacos, decent, but the yuca balls with Gruyere cheese were divine. Tip: pay to park but it's right behind the restaurant.

Yelp
We started with the mango lemonade, it was delicious. We had the yuca bites and porkbelli both yummy appetizers. We had the churrasco with truffle fríes and at the end we had a flan and very good rum cake. The server was very attentive and provided good service. The ambience is very tropical and they play salsa music.

Yelp
Came here on Saturday night and I had so much fun. Great drinks, amazing live music, attentive service from the main waiter (and support staff). Would love to go back and sample some more goodies from here. The branzino with coconut rice was absolutely delectable. Would recommend. The Fish croquettes were also extremely yummy. It hit the right spot.

Yelp
Went to Doce Provisions and found out this is also owned by same group or person so I knew it had to be good. Consider Doce more of a lunch spot and this more of a dressy Friday night dinner and a show type joint. Recently drove by and was curious about it so I didn't wait too long after the waiter at Doce told me all about it. Saturday nights are supposed to be the "best" nights since they bring out the dancers and all but this Friday night I was still able to enjoy some live music. The place is gorgeous and the vibes are immaculate. The attention to detail is unmatched and I love that. Ingrid took care of me every step of the way and so I'd have to say the service is remarkable. I had a few things in mind to order but ended up going for some recommendations that Ingrid took the time to explain so let's talk about those... Started with the smoke old fashioned brought with the self explanatory title...served with a wooden lid to preserve that smoky taste. The old fashioned didn't taste like a traditional one and it was lacking the punch I look for in one so it wasn't my favorite one. I'd probably never order it again and perhaps try a different cocktail. If you're a big fan of old fashioned and like me it's your "go to", this is not the place for it. As recommended by the lovely Ingrid, my first appetizer was Jaiba bisque, a crab and thyme creamy bisque that wasn't too thick, very flavorful and perfect to start my dining experience. Next came one of the apps I did have every intention to order...Ahi Tuna taquitos. Fresh tuna, avocado, yuzu and ají amarillo; these were incredibly tasty and appetizing. Order brings 3 and they're not skimping on the tuna portion. I would definitely order these again. After the cocktail I needed a good Chardonnay to pair with what was coming next. Now I came for the skirt steak but they had a special for the evening and Ingrid did a great job convincing me to give it a try. That dish being the Cazuela de Mariscos or seafood casserole. A rich broth filled with potatoes, corn, clams, jumbo shrimp, fish and lobster; a side crispy tostones and a bowl of white rice included. It was evident that some time was put into this dish because of the flavor depth and profile in the north and that I appreciated immensely. I thank Ingrid for suggesting this dish because it really made it an impeccable dining experience for me while enjoying some really good live Latin music. Ended the meal with a decadent Maracuya (passion fruit) mousse cake to die for and that's coming from a guy that can do without dessert because I don't have a sweet tooth. This cake is for sure a shareable because I couldn't finish it all. For those sweet teeth out there, this is a must have. I plan to come back for that churrasco next time and a few other items from this amazing menu and on a Saturday night for sure. This restaurant has the potential to become a Calle Ocho must visit.

Yelp
Everything was excellent my new favorite and go to spot when I'm in Miami. Music was a good, the ladies were super sweet and the food incredible.

Bill S.

Yelp
The food is amazing no matter what you order you will not be disappointed and this is not our first time here. The bartender knows what he's doing. Try the mojito. The previous time we were there the service was great. This time the service staff was not attentive. This was not because the place was busy. We were literally the only ones there for an early dinner. After the appetizers the dirty utensils were placed on the table and not replaced with clean ones, this did not happened before. The mixed drink glasses were left unattended until we left. We were never asked if we wanted another drink. Some attention to the service SOP and supervision is needed as some servers deliver a great experience and others fall short. Would I go back? YES!

Yelp
Social 27 for lunch was delicious! We enjoyed great cocktails, appetizers and lunch. Everything was fresh with an appetizing presentation. It's beautifully decorated with an inviting vibe. If you're in the mood to try something new I highly recommend Social 27

Yelp
We highly recommend this new restaurant in Little Havana. This restaurant is special because every member of staff treats customers with the utmost professionalism. Drinks are phenomenal. Crafted with expertise and intention- these are not typical bar drinks. Vibe is casual and colorful. The happy hour is truly that: happy! They have Latin live music
google avatar

Alfredo H.

Yelp
The place is small and the dancing is done right in front of the entrance, you have to struggle to get in and out, which is very awkward and challenging. We ordered the ropa vieja and the churrasco and although the taste was good they were extremely salty. When the server brought the check there was the option of paying online using their QR code and I paid, as we were walking out the waitress came running after us accusing us of walking out without paying, she didn't verify that I had already paid before assuming and accusing us in front of other diners of trying to skip out on the bill. That was very humiliating and inexcusable. This is a NTR ( Never to Return ) restaurant.

Jenny Z.

Yelp
We loved our experience here. Both food and service were excellent. We loved it so much, we came back twice during our stay. The location of the restaurant isn't central, which we liked because it wasn't loud and there is plenty of seating. On weekend, there is live music.

Yelp
This place a hidden gem in little Havana. A must visit. Nice music and open air, which is hard to enjoy year round in Miami, this is the time for it! The service was great, DeeDee (might be spelled wrong, sorry) was nice, friendly and very attentive. We came at lunch and wanted the fish croquetas w/ caviar, which is only available for dinner, but she made it happen. She was nice enough to ask the kitchen. The service was fast, too, food came out quickly. I had a mango salt, with the tajin rim. It was delay, like having a nango matgarita. I'm not much for sweet drinks but this was good. You already imagine, loved the croquetas. Had the salmon for my meal, it was amazing. The prawns with the coconut rice was also amazing. Don't forget dessert, the tres leches was awesome. Will come back for both and ṭl to try other menu items. Their selection is small enough for you to be able to decide on something but just enough to give you options. Oh, and they have a happy hour mon-fri 4p to 7p. So make an afternoon out of it and give them a try.

Yelp
This is a great spot that just opened in Little Havana. We arrived at 6 pm on a Sunday. We were sat in the middle of the resturant and we ordered a round of drinks that came very quickly. This is a high end Cuban resturant similar to Cafe La Trova which is a very good comparison. The apps were very good from croquet as to suviche to yuca balls. The main courses include a seafood bouillabaisse, surf and turf and another great dish with meat. Overall a must try if you are in the mood for great Cuban food with a twist

Yelp
Sooooo good! We've been a few times before, all good, but they've upped their happy hour and food and drink choices and it was all good! Birria Tacos! yes! Lechon Asado Buns, yes! Looking forward to becoming even more of a local regular. Great improvements and Orlando, the bar manager was charming with great suggestions and Jose made a great mojito! Yum!

Yelp
This was our first time at Social27 and we were extremely satisfied with the quality of the food and friendliness of the staff. Specifically the Cuban Churassco appetizer and the chicken milanesa and the salmon were both delicious !! And for drinks - the old fashion was yum!

Yelp
Everything was absolutely delicious. The ambiance, decor, music, food, cocktails, all are worth experiencing. Don't leave without trying the Bolitas de yucca, Cuban old fashioned, croquetas & seitas/mushrooms.5 stars social 27! We will be back!!

Yelp
The food here is upscale Cuban. Really really good! We like their more casual Doce Provisions too,but it's a little too warm to sit in the courtyard. This restaurant takes it up a large notch. Masas de puerco were not deep fried, but soft and luscious, on top of corn puree, lovely vinaigrette dressed salad on top w salty yummy stix on top of that. My friend's vaca frita was also very good. Dulce de leche gelato was a hit! Kalua flan!! We'll be back.

Yelp
After a few emails back and forth with Justin, my wife decided to give Social 27 another shot. Once again we wanted to go for happy hour. We ordered one of everything and tried most of their drinks on the happy hour menu. The food was great, and the drinks were well prepared. Everything was fresh the pork belly was very interesting and tasty, almost like a mini salad with pineapple, tomatoes, and lime very nice twist to the dish. The service was amazing as well everyone was very nice and attentive. Honestly coming back and having a good experience made us happy. Like I told Justin I want them to succeed Little Havana needs more places like that.

Yelp
MAKE SURE you ask for AUSTIN to serve you!!! He made the experience 10/10 more than it already was. Food was delicious, fresh and quick. We had the vaca frita tostones, crispy tuna, and pork belly, all a must try. The Lis cocktail was a spicy margarita perfection, and the mule was also great. Live Spanish music , people getting up to dance, the restaurant itself is also so aesthetically pleasing. Easy parking. Must try for a date night, we'll be back!

Yelp
Went for two drinks and apps and the drinks and food were outstanding. Will be back again. The cocktail with Lulo was out of this world. Our server was a gem and even let us in a smidge before open (5pm on Saturday) which was so nice.

Yelp
Great service, and good list of drinks. They have a great happy hr menu. I tried a few of their apps and they were all good. Recommend the chorizo croquetas, pork belly chicharrón, bolitas de yuca, and crispy tuna tartare. Also, they have live music on the weekends. Will definitely come back again.

Yelp
My wife and I eat out 3 times per week and try ALL the restaurants in the greater Miami area. This was our first time here... WOW! What a total disappointment. Shameful to be called a "Cuban cocina". The ambience was beautiful and for that you get 1 star. The food was terribly extensive for the price paid and the portions are TINY. We ordered the "Parrilla Mixta" for 2 for the price of $72. It consisted of a small rubbery piece of meat, 1 sausage, 4 shrimps and 2 large pieces of grilled Cuban sweet potato (boniato). This was barely sufficient for 1 person. The cocktails were mediocre and consisted of mainly ICE for $16/$18. Service was poor and you get an automatic 20% charged to your bill. My bill for two was $235.00 plus $20 to park on the street or lots nearby. My conclusion can only be be that this place was designed to take advantage in the growing tourism in the area and their 1 time visit... personally I would not recommend this place and will definitely not come back.

Yelp
I went for Happy Hour and the food was amazing! The fish croquettes were my favorite and the semi-sweet fried plantains with rock salt and guacamole was the best I have ever had (the pairing was genius). My friend had the ceviche and said it was better than any she'd had anywhere. The drinks for Happy Hour are great and beautifully presented, we had a Margarita and a Pina Colada, respectively. I love the decoration, which is very plush like a ritzy lounge with gorgeous green velvet upholstery and a beautiful burnished wood bar. Lastly, the service was excellent, non-obtrusive but attentive. It is not as full as it aught to be and I think that's because it is a bit off the main Little Havana hub 10 blocks down. However, that is a good thing because you can actually have a conversation.

Yelp
Food was spectacular. I wish they would get more publicity so more people can enjoy the food.

Yelp
I came to Social 27 with a party of 11 girls. There was a live band which was great!! Food was good, vibe was good and if you're lucky you will have Ingrid as your waitress! She made the whole night such a good experience. Would recommend

Yelp
Best dessert I have had! Maracuyá cake with Mango sorbet. 5 start service with a Cuban ambiance that will make you come back for more.
