The Best Spots for Rum Cocktails in Tampa | Eater

"Owners Rob Bowen and Jason Teabout developed the concept for Social Roost after traveling the world together and discovering that every culture has a cool way of making chicken. The result is a poultry paradise, boasting everything from jerk skewers to dumplings, Peruvian chicken, and tikka masala. Nothing washes down a global journey like a good craft cocktail, so be sure to order the Ohana, made with Zacapa Rum, banana syrup, turmeric shrub, and topped off with a squeeze of orange." - Matthew Meltzer

Me and my fiancé came here for our anniversary, all the way around was a great experience! Food was delicious as well as drinks. Service was great, loved the atmosphere and our waitress sam was amazing very friendly, knowledgeable of the menu and very helpful when I couldn't decide what to get. Love this place and so will you!

Our first time here was an amazing experience! Olivia was our server and she was top tier! Beautiful personality and she was so professional and knowledgeable of the menu! We were a large group and, she made us all feel so well taken care of, of course with help from the entire Social Roost team. The runners were kind and efficient in helping us get our food so quickly. The food! The mussels are FANTASTIC. My lavender mocktail was sooo good!! Overall wonderful experience!

A must stop by while in St Petersburg area. Loved the variety in menu. Very modern ambience. Great cocktails.we went there for family gathering. Very close to beach, street parking or there is huge parking across the street. Food presentation was amazing. I tried apple cider mule. We tried shrimp and grits (one of the best I’ve ever had), red snapper, butter chicken, mushroom salad(another must have) and blacked chicken. Servers were very knowledgeable and friendly. They have good selection for kids menu (Mac and cheese, chicken, tenders fries). My toddler finished the whole thing.

We only stopped by for drinks and appetizers ...it was pretty busy.. ended up getting the shrimp ceviche and bruschetta. The shrimp ceviche ended up having a slight kick that snuck up on you..so good. The brushetta was also delicious with green tomatos and fresh mozarella with beautiful Basil seasoning and the glaze. Would like to try the entres next time..prices kinda pricy but food seems worth it. We also liked the vibe and decor ..

Google
I usually don’t say this but this was by far one of the best dining experiences ever. The food, the service, the atmosphere, everything was PERFECT. Huge compliments to the chefs, bartenders, food runners, our servers Olivia and Lily, THE WHOLE STAFF. Highly recommend this place!!

Google
The food was OUTSTANDING!!! Even the drinks. Presentation was lovely. The atmosphere was so nice. Love the sparkle wall especially when the lights went dim. The employees were really nice too. I got Thai Beef Salad, Vegetable spring rolls, butterfly effect and coco Royale. Delicious!

Google
This was our first visit and we enjoyed our appetizers, entrees, and drink. Saja’s recommendations were spot on. She was pleasant and attentive. My husband is a bigger guy, so the table could have been a little bigger. Other than that, the atmosphere was fun. Good music.

Google
Excellent brunch and perfect way to kick off Sunday Funday! Definitely bring your appetite because the food is delicious! You cannot go wrong with the chicken and waffles or the shrimp and grits. For the rosé all day crowd, I highly recommend the Pineapple Mimosa - it was incredible!

Yelp
Ended up talking to Sam and Olivia, our fantastic Waitstaff and they said the owner monitors the reviews, so this one is for you:) We slid into Social Roost on New Year's night, Sam and Olivia -- the timing felt right. A sleeper of a spot, low-key and sly, Blink and you'll miss it... but wow, don't pass by. The music? A vibe. Not loud, not flat. The kind that makes you lean in mid-chat. The food hit hard (in the best of ways), Upscale flavor without upscale ways. Cocktails whispered speakeasy chic, Balanced, bold, not syrupy-sweet. Crafted with care, not ego or show, No pretentious pours, just damn, that coquito so good though. There's breathing room here -- a rare NYC inspired in st Pete flex, Where you don't fight elbows or scream your next text. Poetic, intimate, effortlessly cool, Like a secret the city forgot to overrule. Great value. Great people. Great start to the year. Social Roost isn't loud -- it's quietly clear: If you know, you know. If you don't... now you do. A New Year's win, through and through. Take the Mac, the spring roll fritters, and cocktails with all the bitters

Yelp
I love this place! The food is so delicious and often has the most interesting combinations. Like the Mac and cheese has dates in it. Who would have thought of that?! But it's like a party in your mouth. So amazing. The butter chicken and pasta as well as the snapper are so delicious. I tasted all of my friends food. Haha The cocktails are delicious as well! The service is unmatched and everyone is so friendly and knowledgeable. The decor is so cute and great for pics. Definitely recommend Social Roost.

Yelp
Very disappointing experience on 10/5. We go to Social Roost before every Rowdies game with friends. Last night was such a disappointment I don't think we will return. First off, half of the menu has been removed. All of the great staples are gone. Tuna tacos, wings, meatballs, tajine, paella and more just disappeared without any replacements. Second - the items we did get were the same price and half the portion. For instance - the chicken Milanese used to be a great size. Last night it was half of what was normally sent out. Even the small salad was like a handful only of frisée and starting to wilt. Two of our party had the southwest chicken salad - almost all filler. Less chicken, about a teaspoon of black beans and a teaspoon of corn. Both of their avocado were already browning. The ceviche completely changed. Now it was 90% long cut red onions and about two shrimp chopped. Awful compared to how wonderful it used to be. Service was snarky when we asked about all of the changes. We will take our business elsewhere from now on. For almost $300 (2 apps, 3 salads. One chicken milanese & a couple cocktails) - this was not worth it.

Yelp
The food was bomb!! I got the Shakshuka to try something a little different and it was so delicious. The service was great, definitely worth making a reservation on the weekend to avoid a wait time. This place is nice but you can also dress casual.

Yelp
Went on a busy Saturday for brunch. Got seated quickly and staff were very sweet and pleasant! They only had 2 servers working and they did amazing at keeping up with how busy it was. The food came out quickly and was so delicious! Apple stuffed French toast was perfect! It paired perfectly with a more savory southwest chicken frittata! Definitely recommend checking this place out!

Yelp
We came for brunch and had reservations, so we were seated shortly after arriving. Drinks came out pretty quickly, but after that the service started to slow down. I'm not sure if it was because we were seated outside or if things just got busy. I ordered a fried egg over hard for my side, but it came out runny. They did remake it, which I appreciated, but it was still undercooked and runny, so I just left it alone after that. Aside from that, the food was good and the place itself was really cute.

Yelp
I've heard many great things about social roost so I was excited to try them for brunch. I went with a friend who had been before and we were both equally disappointed with our brunch although she mentioned her past visits food was always on point. I ordered the green eggs and ham and this plating was terrible for one. The dish seemed very basic and the potato hash was soggy. Very underwhelmed by this dish, I feel like the dish could have looked better had they made the prosciutto crispy or presented it differently. My friend got her usual which was the pork belly hash and her potato's were also soggy and the dish just looked very unappealing. Overall I was not really impressed with brunch here whatsoever.

Yelp
We had an amazing experience here. Came at 8 pm on a Friday and this place was packed. We got the last table. The decor is beautiful and they have outdoor seating for when it's nice out. I started with the goddess and that drink is delicious. I felt somewhat healthy drinking it. Our server recommended I try the garden of Eden next and she had my taste pegged. I don't like overly sweet things, so this was perfect. 10/10 for both drinks. My husband started with the standing ovation. He switched to a standard old fashioned after, which I think he preferred even though the standing ovation was good. I got the mushroom salad with snapper. The mushroom salad is sheer perfection and I would order it again. I found the snapper slightly overcooked and next time will try another protein. I was stuffed so maybe I should try it with shrimp. My husband got the short rib and loved it. He tried to avoid eating a lot of the mashed potatoes so we should substitute it out next time. This place was amazing and I'm so happy we found it. We will be back.

Yelp
We wandered in off the street and were pleasantly surprised! We sat at the bar and were immediately acknowledged by our bartender Matt who is high energy brilliance in motion! Matts energy filled the room which was a blend of young and older clientele. I had the Standing Ovation which was rich and boozy in all the right ways (not too sweet). We started with the Curry Mussels which were fantastic! I went the Chicken Milanese which while good, missed the mark. It had a prefabricated flavor and left me wishing for a crispier breading. Overall a great experience that was budget friendly and exciting.

Yelp
Have stopped by here a few times now and have enjoyed it :) food is good, atmosphere can be a bit hit or miss due to it being quite small and somewhat crowded feeling. If it's a nice day, outside/patio seating seemed to be better. Photos are from our first visit, some time last year. Service has been a bit hit or miss but overall a nice spot for brunch.

Yelp
Social Roost was a hoot, with an apparent rooster theme evident from the portraits around the establishment -- the rooster in a gold paisley tuxedo jacket and the hen lady in a green 1920s-style ballroom dress being the prominent examples. I really dug the modern design of the dining area with the bar to the west side of the establishment as we enjoyed lovely cocktails and dinner during my birthday week. The bar and dining area have a very stylish but modern layout, with teal green chairs for the table seating. The bar area has more clear-style bar stools around the more extended pub tables. We enjoyed cocktails such as the Crowd Pleaser and Paper Plane (which was the bourbon-based one I ordered). For dinner, I enjoyed the DTSP Fried Chicken, Korean-style. It was dredged in buttermilk before deep-frying to perfection and served with a spicy cucumber salad. The portion sizes were quite large, so I ended up eating one of the breasts and saving the other for lunch the next day. Social Roost contains fun vibes, scrumptious food, and alluring cocktails at a conveniently located spot in downtown Saint Petersburg where you can hop to other bars around the block once you're done.

Yelp
A group of us had dinner here while in town for a conference. The cocktail menu is creative, and I enjoyed the Icebreaker which had pear slices on top which was a unique garnish. It was not too sweet to pair with food. I had the chicken tagine for my entree and it was good, but the spice mix wasn't quite as interesting/complex as I've had elsewhere. Service was good, and our server knew the menu well. A heads up that they don't split checks which complicates things when traveling for work and dining with a group; we did sort it out and took photos of the total receipt so we could settle up with each other and then still submit a receipt for reimbursement of each of our meals. We dined outside on a lovely spring evening and enjoyed the people watching!

Yelp
Social Roost was a very unexpected YAY for us! We happened to be walking by to a different restaurant but thought the vibe looked fun so opted for dinner. Craft Cocktail list is very impressive and my drink was delicious. I had the Smoke and Mirrors which had mezcal and I had to order a second because the first one went down quickly. Hubby had the Jet Setter featuring delicious flavors coconut rum and pineapple...delish! For dinner I had the Peruvian Chicken and it was incredible. Our server also took my food allergies very seriously and made me feel safe. Hubby had the Ahi Tuna Poke for an appetizer and the Fried Chicken - all fresh and delicious. I loved the interior with their eclectic art and cool decor. Looking forward to trying their brunch soon!

Yelp
We came here for brunch on a Saturday. Upbeat vibe, great service and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. There's indoor and outdoor seating available, street parking available by the meter. We loved our cocktails and food, would definitely go back. A highlight for me was the fried chicken, it was seasoned perfectly, crispy and not dry. The only only thing I felt wasn't perfect was the temperature in the restaurant, it was freezing and people were even going to get sweaters in their car. Other than that, 5 stars.
google avatar

Jonathan S.

Yelp
So the food was excellent, omg I had the chicken and waffles and I was so impressed. I received two nice size pieces of chicken and a large waffle. The syrup was even some of the best I've ever had. My wife had the roost brekkie board and she said that it was so delicious and just enough for her. Also our food came out very fast, even though it was a Sunday around brunch. We had a party of ten including me and my wife and each one of the other parties said that they thoroughly enjoyed their food. It looked like everyone else had a clear plate. Our server "Sam" was on top of it and her customer service was really good. My only complaint was the parking ( downtown St Pete ) situation and that it was very cold inside. So pack your patience and a jacket and you'll have a great experience. This place is worth a visit and I'll definitely come back.

Yelp
Fantastic food and service. The atmosphere is very laid back and relaxing. Prices are affordable Ranging from plates in the $12-$26 range.

Yelp
Tried this place with some friends for dinner. I loved the vibe and indoor seating. It's a great aesthetic place to get food with friends. The food was made to serve so it did take a bit of time to get our food. Overall the food was good, and I enjoyed it. The truffle fries were not what I expected, more like wedges. But overall everything tasted good.

Yelp
Until recently, I'd only stopped into Social Roost for cocktails. I was pleasantly surprised by their menu however. The entire restaurant isn't terribly big, but they do have outdoor seating. We were able to snag a 7pm reservation here last minute on a Friday. I wasn't super hungry so I got one of their appetizers and paired it with their Chardonnay from Mendoza. The appetizer was the fish cakes and it was honestly so delicious. Basically everything on the menu sounded really good so it was hard to decide. The menu isn't very extensive but I think that adds to the quality and care of what you ultimately order. The one downside is that they actually ran out of some desserts when we were debating ordering some, so that was a letdown. Beyond that, it's a great spot to be in with a group or a date, and the quality is very prominent.
google avatar

Yelp
Great night out with friends visiting from Atlanta. We had dinner at Social Roost outside with perfect weather! The menu is extensive so it was great everybody had something they wanted! I enjoyed the fabulous curry mussels appetizer as my dinner. Big portion. Hubby enjoyed the chicken and waffles. Our friends loved the chicken pot pie and shrimp and grits. I highly recommend the French martini! Delish! Great location DTSP and close to all the bars and sites for an after dinner stroll! Definitely will be back!
google avatar

Yelp
Cole was our server and he was absolutely amazing. The service, the food, everything was perfect. Our hostess asked us if we would like a booth or table, we chose the booth. It was dirty, so she cleaned it for us! Talk about service! Cole greeted us promptly with waters and was helpful in finding the perfect brunch options! I had the Bloody Mary which was out of this world- it even had a tomato on it- so cute! The food was even better. Extremely upscale and high class. They have outdoor seating as well. Everything was amazing and I can't wait to go back! Saturday and Sunday they only have the brunch menu. Through the week they have a lunch menu as well as a dinner menu. Parking is difficult, but they have lots of parking garages around that charge 2.00 an hour :) Have fun!
google avatar

Reese W.

Yelp
The food was OUTSTANDING!!! Even the drinks. Presentation was lovely. The atmosphere was so nice. Love the sparkle wall especially when the lights went dim. The employees were really nice too. I will be coming here again. It's also not to to pricey considering it's Downtown St.pete, so if you're looking for a nice dining experience come here.
google avatar

Yelp
Great vibe, trendy food, good location. Went for brunch, service was a tad slow but they are always busy on the weekend so just come patient. Reservations highly recommended.

Yelp
Food awesome Service Amazing Bartender Kayla is awesome Chicken Parm was delicious and Salmon was cooked perfectly.

Yelp
We really loved our dinner here at this restaurant. They have a wide variety of dishes and I love how many vegetarian options they had. We especially loved the mushroom salad and the ricotta and honey toast. Those were excellent dishes. There were also good dishes, such as the collaborate chili, macaroni and cheese, the spring rolls, and the bruschetta. I will say the bruschetta pieces were quite overwhelming, and I would definitely recommend them making these smaller in the future. The service was great and they were very accommodating. Oh, and I also have to mention that the cocktails were really delicious too. That price point was pretty reasonable as well. Given the quality and size of the portions. Overall, I really enjoyed this restaurant and would definitely go back. I recommend you check this place out if you're in the Saint Petersburg downtown area.
google avatar

Anna C.

Yelp
Went for brunch and loved the variety on the menu. Especially loved the ricotta toast. Server was very sweet and did a great job handling a part of 6. We sat outside because it was a gorgeous day but inside gave a deco chique vibe with beautiful jewel tones and a unique bar. Completely recommend this place and can't wait to try for dinner.

Yelp
Stepping into this beautifully decorated restaurant was like entering a hidden gem. With its popularity soaring, getting reservations proved to be a challenge, but it was well worth the effort. The ambiance was enhanced by the stunning scenery and the captivating music that filled the air. And let's not forget about the craft cocktails, which were plentiful and expertly crafted. One thing that sets this place apart is the ability to customize the specialty craft cocktails to suit your taste. While some may prefer to choose their favorite brand of alcohol, I decided to leave it to the mixologist's expertise. The result was a drink that took me by surprise and captured my heart. The Little Rascal, a blend of High West Bourbon, Ron Zacapa Rum, Strega Liquor, Lemon, Ginger, and Honey, was a true masterpiece. The 1915 French 75 with Bombay was good, but tasted closer to a lemon drop. Although it wasn't exactly what was expected, it was still enjoyable, so we decided to stick with it. Needless to say, we couldn't resist indulging in a couple more drinks each throughout the evening, a clear sign of our appreciation. The menu at this restaurant can be described as a fusion of comfort and innovation. The dishes offered a tantalizing mix of familiar flavors with a modern twist. The theme of modern elegance was beautifully reflected in the decor. I loved the art! After enjoying our first round of cocktails, we decided to try the Scallop Ceviche. While the presentation was visually appealing, we found that it lacked a bit of flavor to truly elevate the dish. Nonetheless, it was a small hiccup in an otherwise delightful dining experience. For the main course, I highly recommend trying the Peruvian Chicken and the Short Rib. The Peruvian Chicken was a delightful combination of tender meat, Rice & Beans, Sweet Plantains, Citrus Pico, and Pio Pio Sauce. Each element on the plate worked harmoniously to create a burst of flavors. The Short Rib, accompanied by Butter Whipped Potatoes, Rainbow Swiss Chard, Red Wine Beef Demi Glace, and Fried Shallots, was a melt-in-your-mouth experience that left us longing for more. We savored every bite, ultimately eating until our bellies were happily satisfied.
google avatar

Sharmila J.

Yelp
Overpriced, bad espresso martini and the food was horrible. Plus very slow service. We waited over an hour and a half to get serve served.
google avatar

Ally W.

Yelp
Cool restaurant with a lounge type of vibe. Love the glittery back wall and animal artwork. This place is known for chicken but there are a lot of other good items on the menu. I like that they have a bunch of small plates in case you're not that hungry. I had the small plate of chicken quesadillas and those were perfect for me. Other dishes people in my party ordered were the chicken pot pies, snapper, fish cakes and truffle fries. Everyone enjoyed their meal. At the end we ordered bread pudding to go and had the coconut ice cream it came with at the restaurant. It was very yummy. I would recommend making reservations as this place got pretty busy.
google avatar

Bridget M.

Yelp
Busy place, fun ambience. I started with the watermelon cucumber refresher mocktail. I was happy to find a mocktail without carbonation. It was indeed refreshing and not overly sweet. The mushroom salad was one of the best dishes I've ever had at a restaurant. I am a mushroom lover and it was so flavorful, a perfect mix of sweet and salty. I added shrimp for extra protein. My boyfriend enjoyed his Cobb salad. Service was really good. Highly recommend!
google avatar

JC O.

Yelp
A "globally inspired menu," this little dive has a creative yet simple menu. The presentation is excellent, the staff is friendly, the price is inflated considerably but you're paying for the location and environment. The seating outside is an acquired taste, lots of local foot traffic, but it's fun and the menu is fresh. It's a great alternative to the cramped and overpriced Bayshore options. Recommend if you're in downtown St Pete.
google avatar

marti b.

Yelp
Friends and I went for happy hour and had drinks and appetizers. The flatbread was very good. The ceviche was heavy on the mango for all of us. Great patio for a cooler summer/fall evening. Service was ok. Had to go look for her once or twice though.
google avatar

Lauren S.

Yelp
I love coming here and ordering the spicy Thai curry mussels. It's always the highlight of whatever we order. But our last visit the mussels were either WAY overcooked or reheated. I think they we reheated. This is a huge no for mussels. Sauce was just as delicious as usual, but the mussels were mushy. We ate 5 or so and they were all this way. Maybe they have a new chef? I'll still be back and will be sure to leave a new and hopefully improved review.

Yelp
Nestled in the heart of downtown St. Petersburg, Social Roost is a beacon for food enthusiasts seeking a blend of comfort and innovation in their dining experience. From the moment you step in, the cozy ambiance sets the stage for a memorable meal. Social Roost's interior is a perfect blend of modern elegance and rustic charm. Warm lighting, plush seating, and tasteful décor create an inviting atmosphere that is both upscale and relaxed. The staff was attentive and knowledgeable, ensuring that diners feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout their visit. The chicken was flavorful and the waffle was done perfectly where it was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The rise and shine espresso martini was good but I thought was overpriced at $16. They provide an impressive drink menu with wine, craft cocktails and local brews. Social roost is a culinary gem, offering delicious food, excellent service and a welcoming atmosphere. Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

Rob L.

Yelp
I've been to Social Roost for brunch before, but the other weekend was the first time we went for dinner, and it was equally as good. We had an excellent server and decided to sit outside. They have a great outdoor seating area, and decent people watching. To start, I got a beer and my wife got the Pinkies Up cocktail, and she wouldn't stop raving about it. Since we had been eating and drinking all day, I opted for a little lighter dinner. I shared the Chicken Samosas and got the Southwest Chicken Cobb Salad as my main. It was filling and delicious, nowhere near a boring salad. If you are ever in downtown St Pete, I would highly recommend stopping here for food or drinks!
google avatar

Shary E.

Yelp
Good food, service and decor. Would like more gf options, but everything was fine. I don't know if it's in my top ten, but it's worth a try.

Yelp
9/27/29. Lunch with wife. Walked by many times but ducked in for first time to escape driving rain storm. No reservation...no tables available. Popular place, reserve a table. The room is not large, lots of tables close together. It was loud but not to the point of annoyance. Sat at bar ... our standard. Tender very friendly, came right away to greet us and leave menus. Full bar with seasonal cocktails. They all look interesting. The lunch/brunch menu is interesting, offerings more interesting than just any style, bacon, etc. We shared a frittata on greens and a South Western salad with chipotle chicken breast. Both were large and very tasty. Took home half of the frittata. We'll definitely return to sample some other menu items.
google avatar

Steven B.

Yelp
I was not going to leave this review as I hate focusing on the negative but I can't stop thinking of how bad this experience was. The atmosphere was fine and the service staff were very friendly but that's where the positive ends. I ordered the vegetarian entree option. I understand that this option can be an afterthought for a chef but this was one of the worst dishes I have ever been served. Flavorless and tasteless, unseasoned with poorly cooked mealy pasta. I had others at the table sample the dish and they thought there was no way a chef or cook actually tasted the dish as if they had it would never had made it out of the kitchen. I left the dish virtually untouched... the waiter came by asked if we needed anything else never asked if all was ok and then cleared the table. Truly a bad experience.
google avatar

Elaina W.

Yelp
From out of town but heard good things about Social Roast. The recommendation did not disappoint. EVERY entree was heavenly! Ambiance was exactly was we were hoping for. Service was very good.
google avatar

Paula R.

Yelp
The ambiance is beautiful, quite unique. I found the service to be slow. Particularly, once we were complete with our meals, we were searching for our server to get the check. The food was just okay. I was expecting extraordinary and it did not meet that. I had the short ribs and while the flavors were there, it was too salty for me to really enjoy the food. So thankful for the potatoes as I would not have been able to eat. No, I did not send it back as we were already dining late and I was nearly outside my dining window. He ordered the meatballs and wings and his words were, it was fine. The pinkies up drink was delicious.

Yelp
**** Review 144 **** Stopped in for brunch with a client, first time dining here for the both of us. I was very surprised at the menu, and even more surprised at the fabulously delicious Chicken and Waffles. The chicken was crispy on the outside, yet juicy and tender on the inside. Amazing flavor and when mixed with the smoked maple syrup your mouth will be in heaven. The waffle was cooked perfectly, soft yet crispy, with a fluffy flavor. The restaurant open with a very well stocked full bar, and also with outside seating. If you love brunch, this is a great place to visit.
google avatar

Matthew R.

Yelp
This place was found just walking bye, looked like any other place but walking in it wasn't true. The drinks flowing on a Sunday morning you would have thought it was a Friday evening. The food is absolutely fantastic. I don't think there's a bad meal in the menu
google avatar

Lauryn H.

Yelp
Dined for the Second Time for a Friend's BDAY. Sam and Alex were Great. However I will say the Timing of the Cocktails were about a 20 min Wait which felt Longer. Food is Very Heavy in Curry Flavors. Ok Dishes - HATED the Mushroom Salad - EXTREMELY SALTY- We Couldn't Even Eat it and Unfortunately after stating this it was not taken off the Bill. Would MAYBE come back for a Cocktail but wouldn't Come back to Dine.
google avatar

Francisco D.

Yelp
Exciting place with wonderful staff! They took care of every need and the drinks and food were outstanding! We shared everything equally and that was wise as it was plentiful. The look and vibe of the place was equally enjoyable --can't wait to return on my next visit to the area.
google avatar

Angie G.

Yelp
Sit at the bar if it's just two of you! They have amazing food and drinks, and watching them make the drinks is fun. The bartenders are fun and make it worth it!
google avatar

Renelle W.

Yelp
Nice place to have brunch! There is outdoor and indoor seating. We sat outside and it worked for our group of 7. Thankfully, it wasn't disgustingly hot. We ordered multiple entrees and personally my pork belly was the best on the table. The drinks were also refreshing. The service, top notch. I posted their happy hour times in the photos. Overall, a great experience.

Yelp
We came for Sunday brunch and were very pleasantly surprised at how good the food was and the exceptional service. We started with a virgin Bloody Mary and espresso martini; Bloody Mary is on the spicy side, but good. The martini was one of the better ones - not too bitter, and mixed nicely. Ordered the chicken & waffles as well as biscuit and gravy. Biscuit and gravy are not on the menu, but we ordered a la carte and put them together. Gravy is not the traditional southern style, but still flavorful. The chicken and waffles are massive- served with two huge perfectly fried breasts, bacon butter and a waffle. Highly recommend this dish. The prices are on the higher side, but the food is curated as are the drinks, so we would definitely go back.

Yelp
I'd give them a 4.5. We went for dinner last night. The service was absolutely amazing. I wish I knew her name to call her out here. The food was good. Best thing on the menu (we tried about 10 dishes among our group) was the Curry Mussels. Its an app, but so good I could eat it as a main. The Seafood Scampi (nightly special) was fantastic. The Peruvian chicken was great. Butter Chicken was an absolute no from me - didn't resemble butter chicken at all and I didn't like it a bit. Short rib was good. Cookies and Milk for dessert was a yes. Bread pudding a no. Inside the restaurant is really nice. Good vibes, good for a date night or work dinner.

Yelp
We were visiting family and found this cute place for brunch. Our server was extremely attentive and amicable. Gets really crowded, recommend going early. Food was very flavorful with great portions. I recommend the restaurant. Things to note: There's no parking at the restaurant. You need to find parking along the streets. They also don't have specialty coffee, even simple cappuccino. They only serve regular American coffee.

Yelp
Enjoyed an amazing brunch here during our girls trip weekend. Everything was absolutely delightful from the service to the decor and especially the delicious food and cocktails. Our table decided to share a few of the dishes and this was the best decision as we were able to try the different flavors. One of my favorites was the Shakshuka it was so well made and bursting with flavors it left me craving more! The shrimp and grits were also really good. I had high expectations for the brunch bowl however this was my least favorite. To end our brunch we ordered the Apple Stuffed French Toast. Typically I'm not a fan of french toast but this was heavenly!! If you go here PLEASE order this for a sweet light treat at the end of your meal. You wont regret it, I promise! I'll definitely return here when visiting St. Pete!
