Stepping into this beautifully decorated restaurant was like entering a hidden gem. With its popularity soaring, getting reservations proved to be a challenge, but it was well worth the effort. The ambiance was enhanced by the stunning scenery and the captivating music that filled the air. And let's not forget about the craft cocktails, which were plentiful and expertly crafted.
One thing that sets this place apart is the ability to customize the specialty craft cocktails to suit your taste. While some may prefer to choose their favorite brand of alcohol, I decided to leave it to the mixologist's expertise. The result was a drink that took me by surprise and captured my heart. The Little Rascal, a blend of High West Bourbon, Ron Zacapa Rum, Strega Liquor, Lemon, Ginger, and Honey, was a true masterpiece. The 1915 French 75 with Bombay was good, but tasted closer to a lemon drop. Although it wasn't exactly what was expected, it was still enjoyable, so we decided to stick with it. Needless to say, we couldn't resist indulging in a couple more drinks each throughout the evening, a clear sign of our appreciation.
The menu at this restaurant can be described as a fusion of comfort and innovation. The dishes offered a tantalizing mix of familiar flavors with a modern twist. The theme of modern elegance was beautifully reflected in the decor. I loved the art!
After enjoying our first round of cocktails, we decided to try the Scallop Ceviche. While the presentation was visually appealing, we found that it lacked a bit of flavor to truly elevate the dish. Nonetheless, it was a small hiccup in an otherwise delightful dining experience.
For the main course, I highly recommend trying the Peruvian Chicken and the Short Rib. The Peruvian Chicken was a delightful combination of tender meat, Rice & Beans, Sweet Plantains, Citrus Pico, and Pio Pio Sauce. Each element on the plate worked harmoniously to create a burst of flavors. The Short Rib, accompanied by Butter Whipped Potatoes, Rainbow Swiss Chard, Red Wine Beef Demi Glace, and Fried Shallots, was a melt-in-your-mouth experience that left us longing for more.
We savored every bite, ultimately eating until our bellies were happily satisfied.
