Had a nice time here. The flavors are good. Loved the salsas they make. The starter chips are nice, seasoned well though some seemed a bit stale. We ordered asada quesadilla, Spanish octopus and the short ribs barbacoa. Flavors nice, well balanced but not everything was cooked perfectly. Yams were undercooked and almost raw. The rice was overcooked and dry. The octopus was a bit too greasy and overcooked. The quesadilla was dry. While taste was good it’s hard to return when so many things weren’t cooked correctly.

Highly recommend this restaurant for Happy Hour or Taco Tuesday! I tried this location out with a friend we both ordered two alcoholic drinks (forgot to take a picture) and way more food than what is pictured here and spent less than $100 (we split the bill evenly). The customer service was awesome. You have the option of making a reservation which we did as a precaution. It seems like a pretty popular location. Aesthetically, this is a rest nice venue. I could imagine having a larger gathering here. They have private spaces that can booked in advance for bigger parties. There is plenty of parking nearby on the street but, there is a garage available as well. We did have a hard time locating the restaurant because there are a bunch of other business. GPS was not so helpful but, if you get lost ask for help. The food was absolutely delicious!

Their new manager, Tori, our awesome waiter and the other staff were absolutely anwsome! They were attentive, positive and had us smiling and laughing. It was a great day celebrating a special occasion one our a “Girls Day” with delicious food and good drinks, thank you so much! Thank you so much this the special attention! We will be back !

Decided I needed a much deserved day off after completing a long overdue (Pro Crastinator, level 5) technical report... Walked into SOL Cocina on a Wednesday afternoon and was welcomed by every foh staff & mgmt with sincerity; and lively, interesting conversations. The Kitchen staff knocked it out as well with the best authentic Chili Verde I've had since my Grandmother's cooking! My fellow Patrons were equally as engaging! What else could I ask for! Thanks Kevin, Tamar, Juan, and Sweetheart in the funny non-matching "shoes" 🤗
