"We like Somebody People because the vegan pastas are just as satisfying as the originals they’re based on. And also because you won’t find a meat substitute in the house. The South Broadway restaurant and bar is bright with plants, beach-themed art, and a David Bowie mural in the bathroom, and its Mediterranean food utilizes produce from local farms. The result is a seasonally rotating lineup of inventive soups, salads, pastas, and desserts. Ask for the Feed Me option ($50 per person) and get whatever the kitchen is excited about, like fluffy porcini mushroom arancini or cacio e pepe. Or, stick to the a la carte menu for things like gnocchi with mushroom sauce, or black rice with seasonal vegetables in a coconut lime vinaigrette." - Patricia Kaowthumrong

"One of Denver’s only vegan restaurants also happens to be one of its coolest. Done up in fresh hues of turquoise, pink, and lemon yellow, it turns out an array of seasonal dishes that look simple on paper but prove satisfyingly complex on the plate, be it tamari-roasted cabbage with charred-scallion gremolata and wasabi greens or oyster-mushroom risotto with horseradish in saffron broth. The same could be said for full- and zero-proof cocktails featuring pomegranate and sage or maple and aquafaba; the wine list, meanwhile, naturally emphasizes small biodynamic and organic producers. Opt for the surprisingly affordable ($48) multi-course tasting Tuesday through Saturday, then come back for the completely different — and equally well-priced — Sunday supper." - Ruth Tobias

"A South Broadway vegetarian hotspot delivering inventive plant-based dishes in a neighborhood with eclectic dining options." - Ruth Tobias

"One of Denver’s only vegan restaurants also happens to be one of its coolest. Done up in fresh hues of turquoise, pink, and lemon yellow, it turns out an array of seasonal dishes that look simple on paper but prove satisfyingly complex on the plate, be it celery salad with dates and smoked almond or creste de gallo in mushroom ragu with grilled chicory. The same could be said for full- and zero-proof cocktails featuring all manner of nifty stuff, from Douglas fir brandy to spiced pumpkin; the wine list, meanwhile, naturally emphasizes small biodynamic and organic producers. Opt for a multicourse tasting Tuesday through Saturday, then come back for the completely different, and surprisingly affordable, five-course Sunday supper." - Eater Staff

"At Somebody People, the seasonal dinner menu tops out at about 12 dishes, but there’s not a weak link among them. A typical meal here might start with a handsomely plated snack of pesto-daubed almond skordalia served with crudités beneath a cap of shaved fennel; continue with charred broccolini atop roasted eggplant puree amid dollops of golden-raisin gremolata; and culminate in a handmade pasta. The flavor combinations are complex yet crystal-clear from beginning to end." - Ruth Tobias
