"Butcher & Sons makes the best burgers in CDMX, especially the Bowie with roasted poblano peppers and fried tortilla. For vegetarians, the plant-based Yorke burger with vegan cheese is as close to a classic cheeseburger as you can get without, you know, actually eating a cheeseburger. They also collaborate with local chefs on a unique monthly burger (chefs from Pujol and Contramar have both participated before). Add an order of bacon-wrapped french fries, and a s’mores pie if you’ve somehow left any room in your body for dessert." - guillaume guevara

"The great thing about going for sliders instead of a full-sized burger is that you can try a few wildly different burgers all at once. Wagyu with mac and cheese? Blackberry jam and peanut butter? Irish cheddar and grilled onions? Have them all, all at once." - Courtney E. Smith, Rachel Pinn

"The first thing you should know about Son Of A Butcher is that their online waitlist system is a total sh*tshow. It’ll ask you to come to the restaurant in an hour and then have your table become available (and then given away) in five minutes. But we can’t help but love this Korean BBQ spot anyways. They make great cocktails and have a ton of different meats that you can choose to grill, like marinated beef bulgogi or an entire ribeye. However, some of the best things here don’t involve red meat at all - we’re fans of the steamed egg with tobiko, spicy chicken with rice cakes and sweet potato, and the comforting tofu soup." - Aimee Rizzo

Google
SOB changes up your typical burger experience by offering a variety of unique sliders. This allows you to enjoy different types of small burgers instead of one large burger. The burnt ends and PB&J are staples. The fries are good and the onion rings are excellent, albeit on the larger size. There’s plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy when the weather is nice.

Google
These burgers are freagin amazing . This place doesn’t accept cash which is my only gripe but really really good food. I’d recommend the brisket one! That’s my favorite so far, can’t wait to try the other ones.

Google
This place is cute and affordable, staff are friendly, the sodas are really good, and food came out quickly. 5🌟 sliders: PB&J, Cowboy, and All American / 4🌟: onion rings / 3🌟: fries, comeback chicken. Will for sure be back

Google
First time had The Original Waygu Slider and The Cowboy Slider. The food the atmosphere was amazing very relaxing, food definitely 10/10. Highly recommend!

Google
I was unsatisfied with customer service the workers there need to be a lil more friendly and more professional and the food is okay

Google
The food was great. Visited a lot during my visit to Dallas.

Google
Sliders OMG, great choices and flavors. And boozy shakes!

Google
Amazing gourmet sliders. I've tried most of their sliders in the half dozen times I've eaten here. My absolute favorites are the PB&J beef slider which doesn't sound like it would work but tastes amazing, and the Frika-Tika chicken slider. The PB&J is wagu beef, crunchy peanut butter, blackberry jelly, and grilled onions. The Frika-Tika is fried chicken breast, an Indian inspired Tika masala sauce, pickled onions, and basil.

Yelp
The food is really good, one might even say great, the staff is awesome as well. I'm not going to lie though it is a bit pricey for what you get but the quality more than makes up for it In my opinion. If we're being honest a combo meal from any other fast food place would probably run you about $10 so you might as well spend a couple of more bucks and get something Spectacular from Son of a butcher. My favorite thing about this place is that you can mix and match your sliders giving you the opportunity to try multiple things with one meal. On my visit I had the classic burger and the comeback chicken slider, both were amazing and if you really want to kick it up a notch for your side get half and half French fries and onion rings. *Poor *Decent *Ok *Good *Great *Best *JLFoodie Certified Prices. Decent Food. Great Service. Great Cleanliness. Great Consistency. Great Variety. Good Value. Good

Yelp
Solid 3.8 place if you're craving burgers and fries. The Thai Chili Brussels were perfect, the sliders were solid, the sweet potato fries and onions rings had a great flavor although they were a little on the cold side when we got them. Honestly, I'll probably go back just for the Brussels. They were that good.

Yelp
I've been a big fan of this place since they opened. As a resident in the neighborhood it's usually a good go to when I don't feel like cooking. But tonight they lost my business forever. I won't bring my daughters here anymore (they love this place), and would hate to think that the owners of this establishment whom also own many other staple Dallas restaurant's (which are all really good) would allow the employees to run their operation the way they did. I ordered online and walked to pick up my order since I live around the corner. When I got to the take out window the kitchen was absolutely filthy. Food on the floor, shaker seasoning bottles all over the place, just a mess. I understand I ordered at 9:20 on a Friday and it's busy. I thought to myself "I hope my food is ok with how messy it is". I was on time according to when the app said to pick up my order and have a 3 minute walk back home. When I opened the food containers the food was cold and the brisket on the brisket fries somehow made it to the outside of the container that was designed to keep food in. Didn't think much of it and decided oh well I'll just heat it up. As I'm working my way through the food I noticed something at the bottom of the fries and picked out with my fork plastic food wrap. Likely from one of the cheese or brisket containers. This should never happen. Period!! I first thought it was a glove then remembered the cooks were wearing black gloves. Nonetheless it's the last thing you want in your food. I even made a comment to my girlfriend walking back saying how disappointed the owners would be if they walked in right now. Anyway....if you're one of SOB's fine owners, please feel free to contact me. I'll share with you the unedited version of how I feel after giving your restaurant my money for the past several years.

Yelp
The burgers definitely have potential. There was good flavors and combinations, but the burgers were not fresh, and that was disappointing. Their strawberry lemonade was very bland. Customer service was subpar. There is indoor and outdoor seating available. All burgers are sliders (which I did t know until I got there). They weren't very busy so it seems like many of the burgers are premade and just waiting for a customer to order them, instead of being made to order. Won't return.

Grisel A.

Yelp
A must try. I recommend sharing Even though they are sliders still shareable I got the chicken and the burger slider So good and the fries The hubby got the onion rings and some sliders they look amazing. Love the soda selections , which I am not a soda drinker, but they were yummy. AND they have sangria and frozen margaritas. Busy place. Service could be quicker but still everything was fantastic.

Ashley S.

Yelp
sliders mainly. Not a sports bar, don't go to watch sports. People watching could be good.. would go back. Dogs welcome Atmosphere: 6.8/10 Location: 6.8/10 Price: $$ Quality: 8.2/10 Drinks: 3.2/10

Jodi M.

Yelp
This location and the staff were absolutely wonderful! Greeted us immediately when we came in, Briana and Chloe did such an amazing job! Food was Amazing! Thank you guys so much for the wonderful experience!!

Hope G.

Yelp
Sliders are tasty, creative, and packed with toppings. I was suprprised that I was very full from only eating 1.5 sliders and could not finish my 2nd. The Brisket fries are to die for. They were so crispy and loaded with all the fixings. I accompanied my sliders and brisket fries with the Cookie Butter Shake. Price was a little high, but it was worth every penny! The service was great. We decided to eat inside the restaurant and enjoy our lunch - it was perfect!

Caitlyn Y.

Yelp
First time here, will definitely be back! Food- we got a butcher's dozen of the classic American sliders. The bun was soft, the meat was perfectly cooked and not too thick of a patty, and the thousand-island-type sauce was great too! It was $60 for 13 sliders. The fries were meh, im personally not a big fan of waffle fries. Service- it's a walk up to the counter type of place. Greeted quickly and the food was done super fast. Drinks- sangria swirl margarita was 10/10. The beer was good too but i will be back for one of those margs. Ambiance- LOVE the vibe. We sat on a table bench outside. Water bowls everywhere for pups. Nice amount of shading too :)

Bhavika K.

Yelp
If you are vegetarian and are craving a burger this place is yum! They will substitute any of their sliders with a black bean patty instead. I got the edgy Veggie and Frikka Tikka with the black bean patty substituted. I thought the edgy veggie was really good. We also got the half & half which is half fries and half onion rings. I always love some good onion rings but these ones just didn't hit the spot for me. There is a lot of outdoor seating and the service is decently quick as long as there isn't a long line to order.

Madalynne N.

Yelp
Great food i friendly staff! First time trying, & will definitely be back. Great place to bring the family or a quick date night!

Caroline Z.

Yelp
Sliders: Classic Wagyu, Burnt Ends Wagyu, Nashville Hot Not bad but nothing lifechanging. The wagyu sliders were pretty yummy. Spicy chicken sandwich was just alright.

Dom J.

Yelp
Been wanting to try this place and it didn't disappoint. I got the 3 wagyu sliders with onion rings and fries. The guy taking my order was cool, made good suggestions. Super clean and the outside seating cool. The sliders were cooked well and had good flavor. Love the house sauce (get extra of that). The only thing I didn't like were the onion rings. I'm not a onion ring guy but these were just too much onion. Fries were good and seasoned well. Check em out.

Barb A.

Yelp
Stopped at Son of a Butcher for a late lunch on a Wednesday. You get in line to order your food. Everything is a small slider. You can order 2 or 3 sliders and each can be different. It is a small place on the corner. There are not a lot of parking spaces in the back. The service was friendly, explaining how to order. I ordered 2 Classic sliders and classic waffle fries. Everything is separate. The waffle fries are hot and crispy. There is some seasoning, but not overbearing. The burgers are good. They are all cooked medium. Mine were a little under medium. The sauce in the burger was ok. Overall, the food was good.

Erica K.

Yelp
My favorite is the Sticky Chicken Sliders with a strawberry milkshake. Located in the hip neighborhood of Lower Greenville. Love the outdoor picnic vibe, and the fact that dogs are welcome. If the weather is not cooperating, they do offer seating inside. Overall great food in a great city.

Lexi S.

Yelp
SOB is such a cute spot on Lower Greenville Ave! I haven't had a bad slider yet, and they hands down have some of the BEST milkshakes I've ever had! Over the counter style service, and always so nice! Thanks!

Izzie P.

Yelp
Sooooo yum! I pass this place every day & finally stoped in. So worth it. The sliders are absolutely amazing, the size, flavor, temp it was cooked too. All amazing. The chicken tenders and fries are now my new favorite thing. Nothing can compare to these now that I've eaten them. 11/10

Juan L.

Yelp
First time trying this place out, & was NOT disappointed! Great food, ambiance, & friendly cashiers. Definitely will be back!

Alyssa E.

Yelp
First timer at this location and good was an understatement! They are very welcoming as soon as you walk in, the food was amazing my favorite slider had to have been to all American very tasty. I would definitely recommend this place to others and come back!

Riley S.

Yelp
Walked here from HG supply as we needed a drunk snack. Never been here before but the outside smelled INCREDIBLE. Always a good sign. The line was long but quick and the guy at the front was very helpful in explaining the slider set up. Me and two friends split got the three Classic slider option. I think I asked for pickles on the side but they were on the burger when we got it which was fine, we just picked it off. The burger was A M A Z I N G. The comeback sauce that is on the burger was just delicious. We all got extra to dip into on the side. Even with just meat and cheese and sauce it was maybe the best tasting burger I have EVER had. I am STILL dreaming about it. It doesn't come with sides so that is a little bummer but worth it. If you like burgers, TRY THIS PLACE.

Jessika M.

Yelp
Ordered food dining in, parked in the regular parking spots. (Nervously, my working dogs are in the car so car must remain on for temp control) Finished eating and then ordered togo food. At this point i moved to Togo parking while waiting. Thats fair right? 30 minutes went by and still no Togo food (which is totally fine, ordered a few beers. We live an hour away and only came for SOAB so not really under a time crunch why not enjoy the evening on the patio while we wait.) Went to my car to ensure it's ok and not messed with since this parking lot in general is notorious for cars getting stolen and broken into (my husbands truck got the tailgate stolen off of it in that very parking lot) And as I'm walking by the lady in the window tells me I need to move my car because it's Togo only. I tell her I am and she keeps repeating herself and then tells me my car will be towed I'm in 10 minutes if I don't move it. The audacity lol Last time I checked, I ordered Togo. The only reason I was still there was because my Togo was taking awhile so we were just finishing the beers we ordered. Not sure how yall treat paying guests in Dallas, but we don't do that where I am from. We literally went no where else on the block but this establishment. Good luck towing your paying customers In the future. Food is great, beer was Wonderful, but to the lady in the window once again. F*** you

Chantel S.

Yelp
All of the burgers I got were good. Ordered online, picked up at the side window. They forgot my drink and I had to return for it, but I was still in the lot. I'd recommend trying it out.

Jazmine H.

Yelp
SOLID! I enjoyed this visit to SOB. I went Sunday evening so there wasn't a crowd at all. Plenty of seating inside and outside and they even have a pick up window outside. I ordered 3 sliders -- Classic, All American, Prime Rib, waffles fries and a shake. All really good but I loved the Classic more than the others. The fries were fresh and tasty. The shake was soooo good, we got the cookie butter. I will definitely be back to try more.

Franki H.

Yelp
A great late night bite. It's fast, opened late, clean and the workers are friendly. The sliders are juicy, fresh and cooked perfectly. My favorite is the Popper. There is so much flavor in such a tiny burger. The bacon is crispy, the pepper jelly is tangy, and the fried jalapeño and cream cheese brings it all together. I also tried The Cowboy. It was good but there was too much pimento cheese for me. It cooled the burger (temperature) down to much for me; some bites were hot and some were cold. Again, the bacon and caramelized onions were great added flavors. I lIke that you can order a half and half side, half seasoned waffle fries and half onion rings. I can never decide which I want so this is a great option to get both! They are known for their burgers but should be known for their milkshakes! They are so underrated! They're large, creamy and full of toppings. I ordered the Cookie Butter shake and holy cow!! For $7, it's the best milkshake on the street.

Vicki

Yelp
Food was good. First time customer. We did pick up and Grubhub was slow to notify with time to pick up so fries were cold. No fault of SOB.

Lindsey C.

Yelp
Got one PB&J, one Nashville Hot Chicken and two Wagyu TX Philly sliders along with some waffle fries. Everything tasted so good! The PB&J slider really took me by surprise because I didn't expect it to taste good at all, but it was so delicious! Also ordered the Cookie Butter shake and I can't put into words how incredible it was. Had such a great time and really enjoyed everything I ordered.

Sarah-Grace H.

Yelp
GO HERE GLUTEN FREE BUNS SLIDERS GALORE! The Pb& J was probably the best burger of my life. I've heard they are open late and lots of seating and dog friendly! Can't wait to go back

Ralf R.

Yelp
So, I've been seeing these places pop around the area. Came with friends to the area to hit up some bars and was hungry. I've been wanting to try Son Of a butcher for a while but hadn't gotten a chance. Walked in not a lot of people, which was great cause I wanted my food fast and in a hurry. Was in line, and there was a couple in front of me that took forever to order, like they were ordering for an army and only ordered like 3 things and shared SMFH! Anyway, I made it to the counter and was greeted by a friendly clerk named "Jens P" from my ticket. Told her I had never been and wanted to order a 3 slider deal. I got Classic, Burnt Ends, and a Buffalo Chicken minus the Blu cheese. Also got a fresh lemonade and onion ring. The order came out pretty quick. I love it! Now, to rate my burgers Service 9 outa 10 great! Classic solid 8 outa 10 juicy and tasty Burnt end 9 outa 10 unbelievable good Buffalo 2 outa 10 was like a chicken nugget. The bread was bigger than the chicken. I know it's a slider, but at least make it proportional. Disappointing Onion rings 5 outa 10 they were huge! But no flavor. I'm a huge Onion ring fan, and I love the crispy ones. I was so excited, but let down with no flavor, they were bland very bland and would have given a higher score it they had taste Just the size alone, they get a 5. Now for the lemonade Lemonade 3 outa 10 something about it was off. It wasn't bad, but it reminded me of ranch water alcoholic drinks it had a weird taste. Wasn't like other fresh lemonade I've had it wasn't bad but not good. All-in all place is a solid 8 outa 10 Would I come back probably. It's just that it hurt the old wallet a bit, lol. Set me back about 24 buks and change. Next time, I probably wouldn't get the lemonade, and I'd try the waffle fries.

Ameen S.

Yelp
SOB Son of a Butcher in Greenville serves up some of the best food I've had in a long time. The quality of the meals is truly exceptional, and the shakes are out of this world. However, it is a bit on the pricey side--like really pricey. For instance, a shake will run you $7.67, but it's totally worth it given the taste and quality. The only thing holding this place back from a perfect five-star rating is the employees. They tend to be moody and irritable, which detracts from the overall experience. However, that's not the restaurant's fault, so I still rate SOB Son of a Butcher four stars also, I love the cool look of the restaurant 5 star for ambience by the way

Walter W.

Yelp
Wagu Beef ! Wow what a wake-up for the tastebuds. Sliders are the best I've ever eaten. Each is substantial and filling. The onion rings are perfection. I had 2 Sliders - Classic and Burnt Ends. The dining room is open and augmented with two outside patios. If you like people watching, the front patio is large and street side with trees. The parent company, FB Society, has struck gold with this concept. Can't wait to visit the newly opened one in Grapevine. This is worth a visit and you won't be disappointed.

Patrick H.

Yelp
Raw. I can't eat it. If you like your burgers red then maybe you can eat it but I lose my appetite.

Neema S.

Yelp
I visited Son of a Butcher last Friday night for dinner and had an absolutely fantastic experience. The food was delicious - I got the PB&J slider and the hot chicken. To my surprise, I really enjoyed the PB&J slider. Every bite was packed full of flavor that left me wanting more. The atmosphere inside/outside the restaurant was lively and fun, which made for an enjoyable dining experience. One thing I loved about this place is that it's dog-friendly! It makes everything so much better knowing my furry baby can come along too without any issues. Lastly but not leastly hats off to the staff who were all very kind and provided excellent service throughout our visit. Overall, if you're looking for amazing food in a fun environment then definitely check out Son of a Butcher!

Mary M.

Yelp
S.O.B. Part Deux! So, I wanted to take my husband to lunch and at the suggestion of the Management to give it another try; we set out to SOB. I am very glad that I did. As per our last visit, the service was spot on! Friendly and efficient. We order the Hot Honey Chicken, Irishman Wagyu, The Popper, Onion Rings, and Nacho Fries. All of which were hot and ready in a matter of minutes! The Hot Honey Chicken was FIRE!!! Crispy Chicken tossed in a WELL executed Hot Honey Sauce, was all things Crunchy, Sweet, Spicy, and Sticky!(Ya'll, erbody does not do Hot Honey well, let me just tell you that NOW!) Pickled Red Onions and Gouda Cheese. Plus! (I did not know this on my previous visit) They offer the cutest(and tasty) GLUTEN-FREE SLIDER BUN!!! Irishman was Wagyu Beef(naturally) White Irish Cheddar, Stout Aioli, Caramelized Onions and a Parsley Salad. It was a good seasoned slider, but I was looking for that earthy, malt Stout flavor that would have really made this a standout slider. Caramelizing the onions in the Stout would have been a great way to marry the sweet flavors of the onions with the Stout Beer. Or, reducing down the beer into a syrup and then adding it to the Aioli, would have been another option. The Popper is a slider version of a jalapeno popper! Nicely seasoned Wagyu Beef topped with Fried Jalapeno Cream Cheese, Pepper Jam and Rosemary Aioli, with Bacon and Cilantro(Yes, honey I know it's a lot, but it all worked!) This was my husbands FAVORITE! Onion Rings, SAY LESS! Always a winner and consistent! Thick rings on Sweet Onions and a perfectly crisp exterior. Now, The NACHOOOOO FRIES! They were AWESOME!!! Waffle Fries smothered in Queso, Ranch, Queso Fresco, and Cilantro. I LOVE NACHOS and this was a great representation! Gooey, bursting with flavor! It was all that and a bag of NOT, Nacho Chips! Thank You SOB, for being so dedicated to the customer experience. Check It Out!!!!!!

Jennifer Y.

Yelp
Ooooo Delicious Sliders! Each distinct in taste with a different sauce and condiments. My go- tos are their Prime Rib and Comeback Chicken. Mmmm Fantastic Shakes! Creamy, thick, and, flavorful. Occasionally I booze it up :) Love both Classy Strawberry and Swanky Salted Caramel. Uh oooh waffle fries! Repeatedly I've ordered their tagged 'crispy waffle fries'; nope, not once had my fries been crispy; limpy & cool they were. Oh Yes I Will Be Back Again Soon! Great sliders & sips. Impeccable service. Whimsical patio. Cute interior. Bubbly playlist. Fun time, every time. CHEERS!

Keith F.

Yelp
All slider menu with several variations of fries, selections of milkshakes and a few beers. Sliders include fried chicken, burnt ends, Wagyu beef, etc.I liked the edgy veggie the best; everything is cooked fresh. I didn't try the milkshake, but they sure looked good, and you can spike them, too. A good number of picnic tables with umbrellas for outside, along with a few tables with chairs. Indoor dining is available. The treat on nice day is to sit outside at clean picnic tables and watch the people on Greenville Ave. Great people watching spot!! *This restaurant doesn't take cash* I recommend and will be back. I have 3 more times to come for me to try every slider they have, and I am determined to do it.

Linda O.

Yelp
Food was meh and didn't have much flavor. Service was ok. Tables and chairs were dirty.

Chevon D.

Yelp
My daughter and I always drive by this place and we planned to check it out soon. We went on a late Sunday evening. Nice crowd but there wasn't a long line. Service was fast. I had the 2 veggie sliders and my daughter had 2 sliders Burt ends and the all American. And we shared an order of potato fries. Hands down everything was a 10 out of 10!!! Everything was cooks fresh the fries was hot and crispy. The only thing I would say is that they are a little pricey but it's worth the price. But we will definitely be back. Staff was friendly

Justin M.

Yelp
I love the concept and variety of items. I had the PB&J and burnt end sliders which are topped on wagyu patties. I honestly preferred the Edgy Veggie black bean slider than the meat. Next time I'll try one of the chicken sliders. The waffle fries with queso was delicious. And love the local artisan sodas on tap.

Brandon J.

Yelp
Was pleasantly surprised by everything! On a busy night, they delivered on some really good food. I thought the service was great and the staff was patient with me being a first timer. I will be back!

Jeff K.

Yelp
this place is more like a 4.5 out of 5 stars. I can definitely see how this place is popular... i feel that if they place stayed open until 1am, it would get even more packed. this is the perfect after drinks food/bites. greasy, bite sized, delicious... all perfect for drunk munchies. i ended up getting a comeback, PB&J, and burnt ends slider... also got nacho fries. everything was perfect for two people. I believe its 3 sliders for 12.50. and out of the three, i really enjoyed the comeback and pb&j. Don't get me wrong, the brunt ends were also very good. The pb&j works really well with the wagyu patty. They also have an veggie option as well (made with black bean) As for the waffle fries, i wish they had more queso on top of it. Felt like they kinda skimped on it. They also have plenty of seats inside as well as outdoor seating. When i come back to this area, i'll definitely come back here.

Jingwen Z.

Yelp
This is a casual spot to grab some delicious creative sliders. The size of each slider is decent, and I was full after 2 - you can also opt to order 3 (or more), making this a good option for a party where multiple people eat different amounts. I got the Cowboy and the Burnt Ends, both of which were delicious. I'd skip the nacho fries, though, as the fries became soggy rather quickly and the meat is very salty (and ground). Overall a good pick and I would love to come back!

Vanessa M.

Yelp
Good Fresh food with friendly service. However, beware the cheese, it's delicious but will wreck havoc on a sensitive gut. Their outdoor seating is really nice too! Fries 7/10 Black Bean slider 7/10

Mariel T.

Yelp
PB and J burger - exactly what you expect - fire but sticky. Burnt ends - very good. Onions are a little overpowering. Classic - good, would order again. Simple, literally a classic. Buffalo blue cheese fries are a MUST. Irishman - impressed. Burgers are cooked very well, pick what you like and you'll be a fan.

John W.

Yelp
Came here during my lunch break and am glad I made the visit. The restaurant is located in the lower Greenville area, which can get pretty crazy depending on the time; however, I came during the day when things were more laid back. The ambience was incredible, especially for a burger joint. The staff was cordial and took my order the second I walked in the door. I got the wagyu slider during my first visit, which whether it was real wagyu or not, tasted incredible. The quality was definitely there, and if I could go back in time, I may have gotten three as they have great deals for their sliders as well. They also sell chicken sliders that look just as good and may have to get the next time I go. The fries were good, but a little too crispy in my opinion. My favorite part, though, was the strawberry lemonade. They serve it in a huge cup, and I made sure to finish every bit of it as it really was that good in my opinion. Overall, I definitely recommend this place, especially if you live or plan on visiting the lower Greenville area!

Chelsea O.

Yelp
Lived up to the hype! I got two slides and fries and it was more than enough food. The queso on the fries was a little spicy but still good. I played it safe with the plain burger one and chicken. Very good!

Sam F.

Yelp
Surprisingly really good! Didn't expect that. Cool. atmosphere too. Burgers are cooked perfectly with that red rare juicy bloody meat that animal activist protest against eating. The lady that was at the cashier was super friendly and helpful. Get the cookie butter shake if you want to live forever.

Stephen S.

Yelp
Fantastic burgers. Will return whenever I'm back in Dallas. I need more characters in my review, so here they are.

Kris B.

Yelp
Dog friendly in every aspect, and for that reason alone S.O.B gets 5 stars! For someone who often dines alone(with 2 dogs), SOB made it sooo easy for me. -Faux grass for the doggies to roll around on instead of hot cement -Full water bowls at every single table and every corner -Friendly staff passing out doggie treats and giving belly rubs -Walk up pick up window OUTSIDE Seriously, everything i could ask for at a dog friendly establishment, of course it helps that the food is fantastic as well. While we initially just sat down to grab some water and waste some time, one of the amazing staff members stopped to chat and pass out some treats. With 2 dogs and no car, i cant just walk inside and grab my food so the fact that SOB has a pick up window designated for walk ups(not drive thru) it was extremely helpful. The sliders are phenomenal, they have your basics for the picky eater and for the foodie in us all, they have options with pb & j, onion rings and gouda, OH MY. Chicken sliders, Beef Sliders, Shakes - seriously this place has thought of it all.

Yelp
Highly disappointed in this place Walking in on a saturday night at 10pm, the scene was buzzing with friends chatting up a storm, casually munching on their meals among good company. My order didnt take long (5 minutes) and the staff seemed competent in making my order. I ordered the Irishman and the Comeback slider, just so I could try both beef and chicken options. Both had no flavor. I could tell there was salt and a savory aspect from the meats, and that was it. The further I got through my meal, the slower I ate, ensuring I had not savored the meal long enough. every bite was bland and underwhelming. I felt like I had anosmia as the texture was the only thing I could definitely feel. Surely based on the advertising of wagyu cooked at medium rare, maldon sea salt, and specific bread would have been the calling card for quality. Alas, this is another trendy establishment that looks better on paper than execution. For anyone who's diet consist of frozen pizzas and microwavable chicken nuggets, this will be a fun night on the town for you! If you are trying to sober up and need to choke down some bread and protein, then I guess this place is better than getting a DUI to try to go somewhere else better.
