LA’s New Restaurant Openings

"The name might be a double negative, but this new cocktail bar from the Dudley Market people seems like a positive new addition to Main Street in Santa Monica. Look for a long list of inventive cocktails from a former Here's Looking At You bartender, clam pies from pizza maven Lupa Cotta, and a very nice hi-fi system, too. We recently visited Not No Bar and added it to the Hit List." - cathy park

The 14 Most Fun Dinner Spots In LA

"A night at No Bar Bar is frenetic and a bit lawless. Walk into this pizzeria-cocktail bar from the Dudley Market people in Santa Monica and you’ll find dates smooshed up against the bar and groups packed into booths. On Friday and Saturday nights, you’ll probably have to wait in line for a little bit while DJs spin throwback Euro disco over the hi-fi. A spacious table is never a guarantee, but the reward is excellent tiki-inspired cocktails and bubbly-crusted pizza that goes toe-to-toe with the best on the Westside." - brant cox, sylvio martins, cathy park

The Hit List: New LA Restaurants To Try Right Now

"Not No Bar is proof that when you mix good cocktails, good pizza, and good music, people will show up in droves. Walk into this crowded pizzeria-cocktail bar in Santa Monica (located in the former Isla space on Main Street) and you’ll find dates smooshed up against the bar and groups of friends lounging on two-tops and booths like the Feast of Dionysus. Throwback Euro disco thumps over the hi-fi system. It’s loud, a little messy, and a lot of fun. The place is arguably a bar first, but almost every table is eating bubbly-crusted Neopolitan-ish pizzas, too. Get the spicy, soppressata-topped Bang Bang and pair it with a tropical-leaning cocktail like the Curry Killer, made with rum, coconut, and fragrant green curry." - brant cox, sylvio martins, cathy park, garrett snyder, brant cox, sylvio martins, garrett snyder, sylvio martins, cathy park, cathy park, garrett snyder, sylvio martins, brant cox, cathy park, cathy park, brant cox, sylvio martins, sylvio martins, sylvio

Is this my new favorite bar?! We came on a Saturday evening to have food and drinks and stayed through the night! Amazing outdoor space, lots of picnic tables, great place for gatherings. Kim is the owner and came over to us to introduce herself- she IS the spirit of her business! So welcoming and so fun. She let us know there was a dance party starting at 6pm and that it was for people who wanted to dance but also wanted to get home early to sleep. Amazing music, awesome group of people… we danced the night away. We are a group of ~34 year olds and the crowd was all around our age or a bit older. The music was totally catered to us. It was SO much fun. We also ordered food and drinks- I got the Buffalo cauliflower, the wings, and fries. The cauliflower and wings were SO good but also super super spicy so be ready! Incredible flavor. I ate my friend’s delicious citrus salad to cool down. She also ordered the mole tacos and loved them. We will be back for sure!!

Sorry Not Sorry is a cool spot in West LA with a clean, stylish vibe and chill staff. The drinks are definitely on the pricey side, so be ready for that. I’ve been here twice, and both times there were big groups 30 to 40 people, who all seemed to know each other, almost like a private party. It gave off a vibe where you feel like you’re crashing someone else’s gathering. Still, the atmosphere is fun, and it’s worth checking out if you’re looking for a trendy place to grab a drink.

I came here during dine L.A. week and was pleasantly surprised! I got the steak and fries and they were both perfectly seasoned and the steak was really juicy. I also tried the vegan ceviche which was probably my favorite even though I’m not vegan. The staff was super friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was cute. I definitely will be back!

We had hosted a graduation party a few weeks ago and had an amazing time! The environment and atmosphere was fun, along with great drinks and food. All team members were very helpful and friendly, and overall the service was exceptional. Overall a great place for large groups!

We held joint baby shower with a bunch of friends here. When we arrived, the fire pits were on and it was such a cute aesthetic at the carpeted area. Our servers were super responsive, were easily available if we needed anything, and kept our drinks flowing quickly. We ended up doing the catered menu and the sliders, fries, and buffalo cauliflower were a hit. Thank you so much to Brandon and the Sorry Not Sorry team for helping us plan and coordinate a lovely evening celebrating us Moms to be and our newest boy arrivals!

I got the pleasure of working with Sorry Not Sorry, all of their employees and owner and I wanna start by commending their attention to detail, friendliness, support, and generosity in that experience. Their response time was quick and they helped me work within my clients budget to give them the best event. I was able to offer a 50% party very quick booking turnaround time and the fun experience of my business in their beautiful back patio. I run an art business and offer paint and sips in the area, often working with LA restaurants, and I am so fortunate to now know the sweet owner, Kim. She is welcoming of everyone and from what I hear from her employees is a thoughtful and attentive owner. It’s clear how high the standard of cleanliness presentation, taste and vibe is to her. It’s definitely exemplified in the staff she chooses to work with and their easy-going, kind and helpful attitudes. It was such a great business to work with, and I’m so excited that we laid out plans to be able to work together more in the future! So for all the event planners and businesses like mine definitely reach out and you will not be disappointed! Speaking about the food, let me just say I didn’t know mole could be so perfect, and on their handmade and flavorful tortilla chips, I actually gasped. They have so many amazing vegan and vegetarian and pescatarian friendly options! I also tried their burger and their garlic fries with the molé nachos and it was like an explosion of the best flavors And sauces. The burger with thick juicy, and a hearty meal. the garlic fries were perfectly cooked and the use of garlic was spot on! there’s nothing fake or processed about this place everything from their lemonade to their cocktails to the food that they serve. Literally everyone should come here. They have great food great service, great cocktails, and great events. I can’t speak of them highly enough and my clients were so happy with their experience most of the group stayed for hours to enjoy their perfectly priced happy hour menu after the event! And for those of you who are extra picky, their kitchen is actually spotless and this is coming from a girl who worked in the service industry for five years at a place that offers a similar menu. Their staff back there is so sweet and helpful and the cleanliness was actually jaw dropping. They have a beautiful front patio and a super stylish inside lounge area. They also have a lounge area in the back patio with at least 20 picnic tables. I mean it’s huge and can accommodate a party of any size. I’m so grateful to be able to talk about this experience I definitely encourage everyone to come here at any time. They have some great specials and it’s perfect for a hang out with friends, a date night or if you’re just going out on the town.

I have been to Sorry Not Sorry many times for events, friends' parties and even hosted my own birthday there once. I have always left satisfied. I do appreciate that the menu has mocktails, and not like just 2 or only soda. I think anyone complaining about cocktail prices has to remember that we're in Los Angeles which is notorious for expensive for cocktails. There were several food items I liked such as the mole nachos! When I had my own event, they did a great job with creating the space and handling separate checks. My only knock is that service was slow but I understand when there is only like 2 servers working and stretched thin. Overall, I always felt welcomed coming to Sorry not Sorry and it is a place I always recommend for others to check out!

Jay and Vanessa were phenomenal! They were very attentive, clean, friendly, accommodating to our needs, and 10/10 recommend. You can tell the owner loves to be at her establishment. She’s fun, caring, friendly and happy. One thing i love that you get from the owner is she’s so willing to be everything at her business. She’s the CEO the server the bar tender the photographer. You can tell she loves what she does and I would continue to support her dream and everything that she has worked hard to create at sorry not sorry! Thank you for an amazing Valentine’s Day. Love always

Yelp
Great neighborhood bar, relaxed, friendly, good service. Back patio terrific spot for group meet-ups. Nachos are super!

Yelp
The bartenders and servers are friendly. Really like their cocktails. I usually get appetizers which are tasty. Love the space, it's cozy inside and extremely spacious outside. One of the few places on the Westside that's great for large groups! They are a real community gathering place, which is hard to find in LA.

Yelp
I was in the area and always been curious about the place so I popped in. The street parking is quite vicious, there is another restaurant next door and they offer valet but the street is too busy to notice it. I parked around the corner and got in the bar. As I walked in, it felt like I was visiting a strangers get together. It looked like a small speakeasy bar. The staff smiled but it was polite , not approachable. It looked like they just had a Christmas party and everyone was still in their personal fun mood. Not much chatting at the bar with me, the customer, but amongst the staff itself. I ordered a drink, the bartender made it and walked away. I noticed most of the staff were eating in the kitchen away from the main area and talking. Maybe they were still riled up from their Christmas party. One staff with glasses, sat next to me with his plate of food. No conversation, just two people next to each other. I ordered the "garlic" fries but there was barely any garlic. Not the greatest first encounter and I thought the drink, ginger all the way, was OK. Not sure if I would visit again but maybe they had an off night.

Yelp
Sorry not Sorry has become a staple for our friend group. From casual nights, to celebrations, even to work events. The staff is friendly, there is plenty of seating both indoor and outdoor and there's a wide variety of drinks. They have food options to fit any palate or dietary restrictions: from carnivores to herbivores. Ee typically choose to sit outside and enjoy the nice LA air. If it's winter and the temperature drops overnight they do have heat lamps available. Love the mole nachos and anything with mezcal.

Yelp
The owner of Sorry Not Sorry is lovely! Love hearing about how this bar came to be. I've visited when they've had events and those are fun. I've gone for happy hour with coworkers when I used to work nearby, and I also held my farewell celebration there, too. It's not too far from the Metro. They have more outdoor seating than indoors, and it's pretty chill. Love getting their specials and deals.

Yelp
Starting off with the vibes it is a very fun LA-esque vibe. I go into the patio and it is a fun time outside. Music is playing and they're all singable fun songs to socialize to. Went for the DineLA experience by the way! Drinks-- solid drinks, we got mocktails and they were really solid choices, the one with the egg whites definitely tastes like actual alcohol but it wasn't! The drink on the left was quite refreshing and I thank the server for choosing that for me. Food-- The Vietnamese Chicken wings were.. a little too saucy. The temperature was cold and the wings were a bit on the soggier side. I'm assuming the sauce made the wings a bit cold and soggy so it'll definitely benefit if you get it on the side! Kimchi quesadilla wasn't much of anything to remember. I think it could've been cheesier and kimchi-er but otherwise the salsas and guacamole were delicious with it. Shaking beef burger- Shaking Beef is bò lúc lắc in Vietnamese and to be honest when it came out I forgot it was even shaking beef. Typically shaking beef is a dish that has a black peppery taste that also has elements of onions and bell peppers with the meat so it packs a flavor punch. Unfortunately, it came out and it seemed like a regular burger. It was not bad but I kind of wished there was more oomph of flavor. The beef itself was just a bit dry but the good elements were definitely the bun choice, made it easy to eat and it was a good texture. The potential is there, it just needed something more. Black pepper chicken banh mi: felt like a regular banh mi, but the bread could've been more crispy! Overall it was good, it definitely tasted like something I'd get at any Vietnamese banh mi spot. Ube cheesecake was very memorable-- not too sweet and delectable. Brownie came with a small scoop of ice cream but I mean I'm watching my sugar so it was appropriate! I wish the brownie came warm though. It tasted great! But it just needs a quick 15 seconds in the microwave and the ooeygooey feeling of the brownie would've ended the night well. I feel heavy giving this place a 3/5 but I will say it was a Wednesday night so it's possible that it might've been an off day. Another note is that it's probably more of a place to drink than to eat! I'd definitely come back here to drink and socialize. I mostly came here for food though but I want to really emphasize that it wasn't bad, it definitely just needed a bit more in each dish to make it a solid choice. Our server was great and made sure to check up on us often to make sure everything was going well and communicated on when the next course of food was coming etc. Parking was a bit difficult though as I parked a block or two away. But otherwise definitely would want to come back and try things again in the future.

Absolute BEST place to hold a party! Very chill atmosphere, cool menu and full bar, patio seating, free reservations. The best!!

Yelp
I came in for DineLA and had such a great time. A cocktail + app, entree, and dessert for $35 + tip is an unbelievable price. The cocktail was delicious and definitely didn't skimp on the liquor. I started with the baby bok choi salad which was very bright and citrusy. The real star of the apps, however, was the kimchi quesadilla that my friend got. It was unbelievable and I would absolutely go back just for that. For my entree, I had the burger which was so delicious. The blue cheese on the burger isn't something I would normally go for but the balance was beautiful and I definitely ate it faster than I should. I finished the night with the tropical crepe cake which was so light and not too sweet. Most of the seating is outdoor in the back in the picnic-style tables, which was great for our party. Brandon, the general manager, came by to check in on us several times, which I appreciated. I will definitely be back, especially when that kimchi quesadilla makes it onto the permanent menu.

Yelp
This is my second visit to sorry not sorry the first time I went and it was drag queen bingo night and it was absolutely hysterical. Amazing handcrafted cocktails made with love... You can taste it in the cocktails! Great DJ spinning great tunes delicious food and cocktails. You cannot ask for Moore in a bar and little did I know there is a huge outdoor space behind the bar. You can host 150 people there easily. The owners in general managers are amazing humans kind caring interested in how people are enjoying themselves. There's even a wine class that happens, but I can't wait to attend this Bar has got it all!

Yelp
We hosted a private party of about 40 during off hours at Sorry Not Sorry and they made it a really easy experience. From being flexible with the catering menu, accommodating my last minute changes in headcount, allowing me set up time before the event, these were all details I immensely appreciated. The staff was wonderful and welcoming. My guests had a great time. The space is super cute, the indoor and outdoor available space makes this a gem of a venue for hosting.

Yelp
Came here with my boyfriend for the dine in LA experience! The food was awesome and our bartender was wonderful. We ordered the kimchi pancake, the fried banh tet (YUM), the beef burger and the chicken banh mi. Oh also the Glow Up was sooooo yummy perfect watermelon cocktail mmm mmm mmmmmm Everything was great and I really loved how comfy this place was. Nice sofa seatings and warm lighting! Heard there's a lunar new year menu coming and very very excited to come again. We're about to get our third course hehe ^w^ 10/10 glad to have found this place! Also they have a back patio but it was raining so we'll take a look next time

Yelp
Came in on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. There's limited seating inside with a bar and one TV. Food was very mid. BBQ pulled chicken was not made with barbecue sauce so idk why it's called that. Plenty of outdoor space in back with corn hole and other games. Would be nice for an event or something with a large group. Not sure that I would come back, but glad I tried.

Yelp
Quickly becoming the hotspot of the west side, this casual and fun place is a fantastic way to spend an evening. We came in for a film festival party and found a space outside in the back. The drinks were delish but we had to go inside to order anything. I never saw a waitress. Nit sure if it's always that way but happy to adapt. We went inside to order and felt very cozy and comfortable. Great ambiance and service was good. I'll try the food next time and update ya'll! Yes? This means we will definitely return!

Yelp
This is my go-to bar in West LA, especially for events. They have a big wonderful patio for groups and the inside has a classy, comfy atmosphere as well. The food is great - amazing garlic fries in particular - and the drinks are reasonably priced and never disappoint. Great service too - when I accidentally left my backpack there they saved it and even got it to me early the next morning!

Yelp
This is a great bar for a chill drink/bite or for big groups. I hosted my birthday party here and was able to reserve a section of the indoor bar for a group of 20 with no extra fee. My guests were able to order food or drinks at the bar and there's was plenty of space to sit or stand and move around. The music was at the perfect volume to be able to have a conversation. There's also a huge outdoor patio, with heaters in the winter. The staff was easy to work with and everything was very seamless! The drinks are average prices and quite strong but very tasty. There's a lot of food available too, including vegan and vegetarian options. The fries were my favorite item but the jackfruit tacos were great too and the portions were fairly large. The decor is cute with lots of pink and mid century modern furniture, and I would definitely recommend this spot for a birthday party!

Yelp
Some friends and I stopped by Sorry Not Sorry for the DineLA menu. So glad that we discovered this place thanks to their participation in DineLA! Their menu for the event was fantastic -- cocktail, appetizer, entree, AND dessert for $35? Absolutely solid. I was really impressed by the service and ambiance of the restaurant. The back patio area is very spacious and inviting, and all staff members were very friendly and attentive to our table. The indoor area was also super cool and had tons of cozy-looking seats. It felt more like a lounge (complete with a great selection of board games provided to guests)! Drinks were great! I tried the Early Morning Spin Class, and it was the perfect balance of flavors (and a great amount of liquor!). Food was quite good. The baby bok choi was the quintessential summer salad. Absolutely delicious. I tried the chicken bahn mi for my entree, and I was slightly disappointed by the under-pickled veggies and the very. dense texture of the chicken two ways (the pate seemed underseasoned?) with the bread. I won't order this again when I return. That said, the tropical crepe cake dessert was *amazing* and really capped off the evening on a perfect note. Again, food was great, but I definitely wish I had tried the burger, which my friend described as "beautiful." My fiancée and my friend also ordered the Bomb Ass Potato Salad and the fried buffalo cauliflower with house dressings, and both were stellar. I stole a lot of the potato salad. The buffalo cauliflower was a bit spicy for my taste, but, frankly, most things are a bit spicy for my taste. I can't wait to stop back in sometime soon to try more items on their regular menu! Again, so glad that we found this place.

Yelp
A friend and I went for the Dine LA menu, such a great deal on awesome Vietnamese food! Special shout out to Paul for great service and vibes, and for taking extra care with a food allergy. Very cute trendy spot, the music playing was definitely for the gworls and we loved it. The back patio was closed as it was a slow and drizzly Tuesday night but looks like it would be really fun in the summer.

Angela U.

Yelp
Seriously, such a cool place/vibe and the food and drinks are amazing too! We don't get to get out much because of the kid, but we've enjoyed every time we have a chance to go to SNS. We had a birthday party on their back patio which was a extremely accommodating (kids were welcome), spacious, and no deposit required as we were going to order as we went through the day instead of pre planned meals from SNS. Where else in LA can you have 30+ guests come and hang like that? Most recently tried their Dine LA menu and seriously, huge portions and SO good for the price. The selection of NA spirits, wine, and other options were greatly appreciated and taken advantage of. There aren't many spacious, inclusive spots on the west side that we know of a so we are more than happy to be a returning patron here!l when we can :)

Mingda H.

Yelp
Fantastic food foremost. The decor is great and our bartender was very welcoming and a great host. She made sure to check in with every table and make sure they were doing good, and for a single person, was exceptionally good at taking care of the front of house. The food here is both creative and yet nostalgic at the same time. The fried banh tet from the dinela menu was fantastic. Perfectly made, a surprising and welcome addition to the menu from an unexpected place. The vietnamese shaking beef burger was absolutely delicious. A call back to a blue cheese burger with a fantastic depth and complexity aided by the peppery arugula and perfectly grilled buns and sirloin. The ube cheesecake is a great sweet to end the night on. The drinks were very good. We tried the erewhon and the glo up and were. balanced and had either a nice complex taste owing to the choice of mezcal or a nice sweet treat.

Yelp
Adorable little romantic place with an eclectic menu (fantastic garlic fries), a fire pit, fun drinks and outdoor seating-- we loved it!
google avatar

Yelp
Obsessed with the kimchi quesadillas at first but then Jae suggested beef tacos with guacamole!!

Clara F.

Yelp
The food is good. Try the mole nachos! I love any of the drinks with Mezcal in it. Also tried the non alcoholic drinks and loved those too. The vibe is very casual with a small indoor area and a large outdoor space in the back. The bathroom is clean and spacious. Service is a little slow, but the most recent time I went there were 4 birthdays happening (1 of which I was part of) at the same time, so it's understandable.

Yelp
Came here for an event and it's a great venue for a relaxed social gathering. The bar inside is a little small but the enclosed outdoor lot in the back was a great space for our large private group, probably 40-60 ppl. Love the heater lamps and the fire pits. There was a great drink menu (wine, beer, spirits, cocktails, mocktails, and an impressive list of other non-alcoholic options too). I got the "early morning spin class (great name for a great drink lol), a concoction of vodka, peche de vigne, fresh pressed orange juice and cranberry. A small group of us ordered some apps. My fave was the chicken mole nachos, which were fantastic. The mole really added a nice twist to a traditional nacho platter. The chicken tacos were a little bland and the turmeric garlic fries were a little soggy. The service was fantastic (efficient and friendly) and they did a great job catering to our large group despite their small staff. It's mostly just street parking in the area but I got lucky and found something around the corner.

Yelp
Came for Dine LA for their incredible deal - $35 for 3 entrees and a cocktail? Hell yeah. We got a chance to taste pretty much everything and had a wonderful time - the cocktails were strong and tasty, the portions were generous and delicious, and the ambiance in the back patio on a warm summer evening was unmatched! Food: - Kimchi quesadillas were the definite star to me - so flavorful and rich with a little bit of a spicy kick, I could've mistaken them for a vegetarian entree somewhere else. That said, the Asian pear salad was great too and the two appetizers really balanced each other out. - Between the burger and banh mi, I think the banh mi was my favorite - the pickled vegetables went really well with the grilled chicken and crispy-soft baguette. Burger was really tasty too with a spiced patty and juicy pickles. - I was already pretty full by the time dessert rolled around, but got a second wind as soon as I had a taste. The mille crepe cake with the pineapple and blueberry? DIVINE. I'm usually not a huge Mille crepe cake gal myself, but the fruit flavors were perfectly balanced and the cake wasn't too sweet, which went amazingly with the preserves. The flavor of the five spice ganache was so unexpected and lent a savory umami edge to the brownie-vanilla ice cream combo (also delicious, a perfectly soft and chewy brownie.) - Drinks paired amazingly with the meal, and we definitely indulged in a few. The Glow Up is probably my favorite, perfectly refreshing in the heat. SERVICE: Fast and attentive and friendly - it was early in the evening, so the GM came by to check in on us as well. We only had good things to say all around. Am honestly thinking of coming back again while they're still running the DineLA promo... I had a great time and it is truly a spectacular deal.

Yelp
A nice venue with good food! When you enter the main bar it's a tight squeeze and loud - great if you just want to grab a drink and socialize. But there's also an entire outdoor patio area if you want a chiller vibe. There's a fire pit and a series of heat lamps (could use more lamps outside). There were two larger parties but it didn't impact my ability to chat with my friend. The true highlight of the evening was the wings. Get them. I cannot convey how tasty these are. My friend and I were salivating and I'm still debating to go back and get more. The perfect balance of sweet and tangy. Service was chill. I asked for a burger without onion and they forgot but the server came back out and acknowledged it all by herself. I was fine just taking them off but I appreciate the willingness to own the error and the offer to make me a new burger. I was also debating about a drink and she said if I didn't like it that she'd let me pick something else. Sorry I didn't get her name! We were also bummed they were out of their signature desserts but maybe that's a testament to how good they are.

Yelp
Love that they have outdoor events here. And they have a cute outdoor front patio area too. Got a drink & some food. Street parking only.

Yelp
super cute! Would be fun to hang out in the backdoor patio area in the summer. Went on a Friday around 6 pm and was not busy at all. Started to pick up more when we were leaving around 7. Happy hour is from 5-7, even on Fridays, which is sweet! The drinks aren't very strong. But it's a fun vibe. Loved all the Christmas decorations. The server was super cool, too! I ordered a Kombucha on the happy hour list but they had just run out so she gave me a canned cider that wasn't on the happy hour list for the price of the Kombucha. Also, pro tip, check in on Yelp to get a free appetizer when you spend at least $19! Would come back Biggest knock is that they serve everything with plastic straws...c'mon. It's 2023. We're in a climate crisis.

Pretty weird vibe the moment you walk in. Doesn't really feel welcoming but my martini of the day was good and we liked all the games they had

Yelp
This place was perfect to gather with some friends on the patio and have some drinks and light finger foods! Our bartender was awesome!

Yelp
My friend and I decided to checkout Sorry Not Sorry since she mentioned the really cool outdoor seating area / beer garden during the pandemic. We thought it would be dog friendly, but it wasn't lol. Even staff told us to write an email to management to allow dogs. We moved back inside and sat at the bar. I ordered the golden pineapple and was pretty disappointed that it was pre-made cocktail on tap. The bartender simply filled the glass and added a piece of grapefruit and an umbrella as garnish. Golden pineapple is very tropical and tiki-like. The drink itself wasn't bad, but if I'm sitting at the bar, I want to appreciate the art of mixology.

Yelp
The service was solid, and everything else pretty mediocre and overpriced for the sake of it. Much of the ambiance was try-hard. Drink names for instance; Queen Bey, Jenny From The Block. The playlist; hiphop from the last 20 years. There's someone who lives for this kind of space, and it just ain't me.

Yelp
This place has a great outdoor patio - perfect for warm LA days. The cocktail menu is slim but sufficient, and the brunch menu has some good bar-style eats - the big-ass fruit plate is a little on the medium-ass size, the fries are good, and the chilaquiles are plentiful. Please be nice to your waitstaff/bartender here - they aren't always staffed beyond the bartender and kitchen cook, so be patient! They're really nice and will always help, but they're juggling a lot. I've attended board game events in the patio (which are also dog-friendly), and the inside is nicely designed but meant for a handful of smaller groups.

Yelp
For the best customer service and a memorable time you have to try sorry not sorry! Jenny from the block is a must have accompanied by the garlic fries! The live music and the whole vibe is so lovely, overall 5/5!

Yelp
This place is really nice inside and outside and they have a great food and drinks menu. It's really easy to come here with a group and get separate tabs.

Yelp
An employee dropped a GIGANTIC patio umbrella on a member of our party (had to physically step in to prevent grave injury) and told us to STOP COMING when we addressed this via email WTF Made reservations for space and the spots weren't ready/clean when we arrived. Food: overpriced; always out of some item or other (over the course of several visits), even simple items like fries or chips Service: rude, sassy (in a bad way), poor communication, owner who puts all the pressure and work on her manager rather than stepping in herself. Called the owner multiple times and left voicemails, but she never called back. Feel bad for her manager even though he's a prick. Do not recommend. STAY AWAY! There are kinder places with better food. Lots of issues over the course of many months. Such a shame. Check out my email screenshots for other issues that came up.

Yelp
We got the fried "Buffalo" cauliflower, pulled pork sandwich, and the house made sliced roast beef. The fried buffalo cauliflower were the star of the show. The flavor was amazing and cauliflower was perfectly fried. I didnt use the ranch type sauce and mostly stuck with the orange one because it tasted better. The pulled pork sandwich and the house made roast beef sandwich were disappointing. The pulled pork had a weird overpowering spice that took over the sandwich. The roast beef sandwich is served cold, which is not what we were expecting..there was also such a small amount of chimichurri and it's the main ingredient listed for the sandwich. At least the rolls were good? The service was very slow. After we ordered the food, our server disappeared for like half an hour.

Yelp
On a recent visit with my fiends in West L.A., they told me about a gay bar in the Sawtelle neighborhood. I was pleasantly surprised and wanted to check it out. We had some free time after brunch, so we decided to make a stop for a Sunday cocktail at Sorry Not Sorry. Parking was a breeze and the front patio seating was quite inviting. The bartender was friendly and welcome us. Since we were fresh from brunch, we ordered Spicy Bloody Mary's. I did ask about another drink on the menu, but wasn't excited to see that it was premade and amongst the many spouts on the back bar wall. Not only am I not a fan of premade cocktails, but I go to bars to enjoy seeing drinks made to order. I might be a bit bias having been a bartender and bar manager, but I'm sure many would prefer to have their cocktails made instead of poured out a spout like draft beer. Aside from that, our made to order spicy Bloody Mary's were great. We ordered their Tumeric Garlic Fries & House-made Chips and Salsa to nibble and those were decent. When I checked in on Yelp, I was notified that I get 1 free side dish just for checking in. I asked the bartender what that was about and he said we'd get our fries on the house, since we weren't eating anything else. The space is very open with tables that line the perimeter of the bar. The bathroom was clean and there is a large back patio. I was not able to check out the back patio as there was a Drag Brunch going on and it sounded like a lot of fun. This was an enjoyable quick visit and it's good to know that there is a bar in the neighborhood for the LGBT community to enjoy without driving to WeHo.

Yelp
Have been here a couple times now and am LOVING their ice cream!!!! My fave so far is the Ube Honeycomb!!!! My husband's go-to is the milk and cream! I love the creaminess of the ice cream...and the flavor palettes are so unique!!! The staff is always welcoming and helpful!!! It's dangerous that they are not far from me!

Yelp
We LOVE Sorry Not Sorry! The vibe is excellent, the food is delicious, the cocktails are strong, and the community feel is second to none. We've been fortunate to host two events on their lovely patio. The staff and management are fantastic - accommodating, kind, thoughtful, and always willing to go the extra step. Whether you need an after-work hangout or a venue with vibes, Sorry Not Sorry is the place to be!

Yelp
I recently planned a wedding reception at this venue as a follow up to my birthday celebration there in October. Both times this staff has made our events so special. They go above and beyond, dedicate a server to your area, have very reasonable prices, and really work with you to allow you to decorate and make your evening special. Special kudos to Brandon you rock!

Yelp
We have rented Sorry not Sorry now for two events and plan to do more. Working with them is a pleasure. The food is not just fresh and delicious, the presentation was beautiful. The service has always been amazing. Everyone is extremely friendly and welcoming. Prices are very reasonable and the location is excellent for anyone wanting to meet at a westside location.

Yelp
A fun backyard atmosphere with great service! You can sit inside but outside is really nice! You sit on picnic tables and benches. The service is great you don't just have one server you have them all! If one of them sees you're done they come up and ask if you want another drink more food etc. They offer a drag queen brunch that was on Sundays and they have a drag queen bingo night! Check out their website to see what is going on for the month! The garlic fries are amazing as is the fried Buffalo cauliflower!! Fun place for groups it runs about 30.00 per person.

Yelp
I've hosted a couple of events at SNS. It's my favorite spots for well planned parties! They have a cool bar but a huge patio with lot's of space to host a lot of people and parties at the same time. You can easily reserve the area you prefer, bring your decorations, and most importantly, it's super convenient because the waiters open tabs for each person and you can easily keep asking for food or drinks without having to worry about payments at the end. If it gets cold outside late at night, you can also continue the party at the bar inside that is pretty cool too. The service is good and super friendly. Just make sure to reserve in advance if you have a big group to make sure they staff properly to serve you as best as they can. Oh - and they have board games, events that they publish every month in their website, and very good food actually! Thanks SNS for having me, you'll continue to see me often! :)

Yelp
4.5 stars rounding up to 5 stars. As a casual event and entertainment venue serving food and drink, this place has a great ambiance and no-pressure, yet prompt and pleasant service. I enjoyed the chicken nachos and thought they were good value for the price. Though it might not end up on an essential foodie list, the caliber of food paired with the pleasant, inviting space plus the game nights and other themed amusements they host really make this business a gem in this community.

Yelp
I need to reiterate how awesome this place is. Wife and I were at snobby SoHo House for dinner and we decided to have a down to earth drink before going home. SNS being the neighborhood bar that it is, always has that chill unpretentious vibe we need. The DJ was killing it again with sick beats. Got some awesome old school like Billy Ocean and Zapp+Roger thrown in. Bartender was sweet and attentive. We had a nice convo about SF Saloon and how it's weird now, haha. Dunno what else to say...it has to mean something that we prefer this place over SoHo House LOL. I said what I said.

Yelp
The fried "buffalo "cauliflower is a must get! Lightly crispy with a perfectly balanced, sweet and sour with tobacco sauce. I would pair that with Sorry Not Sorry's avocado toast; Then dip the avocado toast in that delicious "buffalo" sauce. Super yummy! Hours are strange. So please check the hours before you go.
